#31 of Whispering Twins

Zay woke to Zayra shifting, groaning a bit as she slipped free of the sleeping bag and fumbled around for the zipper of the door. Enjoying half a moment of the sleeping bag all to himself before the chill started to bleed through the fibers where her warmth was fading. Slowly his eyes blinked open, noting the early morning light that peeked through the tree above them and made a light show on the roof of their tent.

Picking at the corners of his eyes he sighed, sitting up a bit with a yawn. Ears flicking as he realized the pressure on his morning wood. Yah know sometimes I hate being a guy... This shit doesn't go away easily... He got up, slipping out of the sleeping bag and rummaging around his book bag to pull out a pair of khaki shorts and a grey shirt and get dressed.

He was wiggling up his shorts when the door zipped open, ears up as Zayra blushed and ducked her head in. Ears burning a shade darker he yanked his shorts up, rolling to his knees and feet before stuffing his morning wood in and zipping. "Mom and dad should be up soon. I'm gonna go take a leak and be back to start the fire again."

"Okay, poptarts for breakfast?"

"Yeah but I want mine warm," he said gently. "We can set them near the fire and they should toast alright." He ducked out past her, stretching a bit as she zipped the door closed and started to rustle around for her own clothes.

He reached into the van to pull out his phone, checking the charge before closing the door gently, using his rump to put enough pressure on the door to insure it was shut. Then he started down the paved road to the restroom building. Pressure on his morning wood. He pulled open the door and padded into the smelly room. It stank of someones recent dump, and urine with an odd mix of bleach.

Using a knee he bumped open the stall door and used his tail to knock it shut before slipping the latch across. Wonder when the rest of the fam is gonna show up. I know dad said most of em won't be until after church, but really just wanna hang out with Uncle Xander. He unbuttoned and zipped, letting his stiff morning wood stand up before directing it down carefully.

Though dads probably gonna pull the whole 'I'm dad' crap again. Slowing us down when we hike, wanting us to hang out with him and mom, or forcing himself into our games knowing full well he sucks ass... Even when Uncle Xander and I get into some soccer fun he's gotta come around and ruin it just cuz he's so damn slow and trips over his own feet.

With an annoyed sigh he tried to focus on relieving himself. Ears splaying as he splashed into the water. An ear flicked up at the roar of a truck and trailer, yanking his shorts up as he flushed and stepped out. Quickly washing his hands before he left the bathroom behind him, starting down the road as the roar came closer.

A smile blossomed over his mug as the rusty blue truck pulled an old run down looking trailer behind it. He stuck out his arm and a thumb, watching as Xanders truck pulled up beside him.

"Little early for you ain't it," Xander asked with a laugh.

Zay climbed in and shut the door hard, "Zayra can't get out of the sleeping bag without waking me up."

"You two still share a sleeping bag," Xander asked with a bit of surprise. "Does Henry know?"

He rested an arm on the open window, "Not like we hide it from him. Zayra gets cold and even if she goes to sleep in her own, she's in mine by morning."

"Your folks up?"

"Probably by now," he replied, "With half the camp..."

"Yeah, I've been meaning to fix the damn muffler but the tractor broke down last week and it's a bit more important than a muffler."

Zay looked at him, his royal purple stripes and the lavender hues in his hair that was trimmed short, the front stood a bit on end and the rest was kept very short. He noted Xanders slightly dirty red flannel shirt, and plenty of mystery stains on his jeans. "Hey Uncle Xander..."

The older tods ear flicked toward him, "Hmm?"

"I dunno... Kinda noticed it yesterday but..." His eyes shifted as he spotted Henry at the edge of their own camp spot. "Nevermind..."

"Somethin' on yer mind Zay," he asked a bit gently.

"Nah just... glad yer here..." He slunked in his seat with a huff.

"Like I'd miss you and Zayras sixteenth birthday. Yer mother would have my ass," he laughed.

Zay waited as Xander backed up his trailer into a camping spot not far from theirs. Climbing out to help put blocks between the trailer tires. Ears shifting as Zayra bound over and basically threw herself at Xander

"Easy, yer not as small as you once were," he laughed, picking her off her feet a bit as he squeezed. "You kids had breakfast yet?"

"Not yet, we were gonna have poptarts," Zayras tail wiggled just off the dirt and grass. "When is grandma suppose to be here?"

"They were comin' after church," he replied, setting her back down. "Should be here by lunch. How about you two run along and eat breakfast, I've gotta get things situated in the trailer then I'll be over. Tell yer mom I'll be over soon."

Zayra grinned up at him as she stepped back, "Okay."

Zay took her hand, "Later Uncle Xander."

"See yah in a bit kids," he said with a soft wave, watching them make the walk back to their own campsite before he climbed into his trailer.

At camp Zay poked around the fire, working up some hot coles from the night before. Using some newspaper to build a little flame and adding sticks to it before piling a couple logs.

Zayra was digging around the 'pantry' which was just the back of the van were the baskets of box and canned food were. "Zay what kind of poptarts do you want?"

"Did mom pack the wild berry ones?"

"Yeah," she jumped out of the van and tossed the hatch shut. "I found cherry too." Pittering over she handed him both silvery poptart packages.

He laid the grate over the flames, tearing open the packages to lay the pastries on the metal away from the flames. "There, that should warm em up a bit."

"I'm gonna get a glass of milk," she said, hands on her hips. "Do you want one?"

A smirk crossed his lips as he turned, slowly standing as he leaned over her shoulder, "Yah wanna milk the dick just ask."

Her ears flicked back, darkening as her paws pushed on her shirt. "Zay," she whispered urgently. "Mom and dad are awake and not far."

"Yeah, and? I'm ready for a hike."

"Not hiking until the rest of the family gets here," Henry said, rummaging around the silverware and plates. "Honey where are the spoons?"

"They were right next to the forks," Mary said, digging in the van. "Zayra honey you did pack the cereal right?"

"It's in the basket with the chips," she yapped.

"Got it," Mary slid out with a big bag of cereal in hand. "You kids check on Xander?"

"Yeah, he's settling in. Probably hooking up the trailer to power and getting stuff around for his chilli," Zays mouth salivated at the thought of it. Tongue flicking out over his whiskers wetly.

Zayra tilted her head, "Are you drooling?"

"Maybe," he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, "It's good stuff and only Uncle Xander can make it right."

"Wonder if he'll make grandmas pancakes," Zayra asked gently.

Zay gently pulled off a cherry poptart, "Jesus." He offered it out to her, "Careful it's hot."

She took it gently from him and sat down in the grass, purring as she broke off some of the crust. She held it out toward him, biting into the jam middle while looking at their parents ready their own breakfast.

He checked that their backs were turned, leaning toward her as his hand grasped her wrist. Thumb on the back of her hand as he turned it. His tongue licked up her paw pad, tasting soap and crumbs. Taking her fingers and the bit of crust in his mouth, tongue licking up her claws before pulling away.

Her ears went dark, eyes blinking as she looked at him, then over to their parents who were still making their breakfast. "Z-Zay-"

"Shh," he hushed, letting go of her wrist and his eyes darted over to them as well. Then he smiled, "Love you sis."

Zayra flattened her ears, pulling her hand back toward her pastry. "L-Love you too Zay..."

He tilted his head a bit toward her, "Hey...

She dropped her nose but lifted her eyes to his, gaze darting around his face.

Zay leaned toward her whispering in her ear, a smile crossing his lips, "Who's a good girl?" His eyes dropped after a moment, watching her tail wiggle in the sparse grass. "Yeah, who's a good girl," he said a bit lighter. Feeling her blush boil off her ears on his whiskers, "Yeah, yer my good girl aren't you?"

Her blush had her ears as dark as her nose, "Z-Zay... They're-"

"I know, you're just getting a little too warm so close to the fire. Tell me what I wanna hear... Who's my good girl?"

Her paws trembled, "M...Me..."

He kissed her cheek, "Yes you are."

"The poptarts are burning," she mumbled a bit.

He picked at a corner and moved them further from the heat. "Yah want a glass of milk?"

Her head bobbled a bit, breaking off some more crust to feed him before taking another bite. Looking up as Mary called her name.

"Are you feeling okay honey? You're ears are really dark... Do you have a fever?"

Zay found his feet, "Nah, she's probably just too warm so close to the fire. So what are we doing before everyone else gets here?"

Henry swallowed his mouthful of cereal, "Probably hang around the fire."

He pulled out a cup and picked up the gallon of milk, "Can Zayra and I go on a trail? We'll be back by lunch but I don't wanna sit around on my tail when there's a perfectly good trail to get lost on."

Henry's ears flattened, "N-"

"Sure honey," Mary said quickly. "Just bring back a handful of trail maps so we can plan our hikes. Short trails only, and make sure your phones are charged." She looked over at Zayra, "Keep an eye on your sister, the last thing I need is her sick on the trails."

"She'll be fine, I'll pack some water and we'll work it out of her," Zay replied. "We did pack the bug spray right?"

"I'll look for it," Henry said with a grumble.

Zay poured a glass of milk and returned to Zayra, letting her take a drink before he bit into his own poptart. "I'd say we could do rock paper scissors for who's bag we take... but I already know I'ma' end up carrying it so we'll just take mine."

"Works for me," she said, putting a paw over her lips. "A couple waters and a snack shouldn't take much though."

"True... Hey you have a drawstring bag for all your bathroom stuff don't you?"

"Yeah..."

"Empty that, it's not a girly color. I'll still carry."

She nodded once and bit off the last of the jam filling before offering it over to him.

He bit around a corner of his own poptart and traded with her.

After eating Zayra crawled into the tent, digging out her blue bathroom bag and stuffing her shampoo, pads and emergency underwear and shorts in her backpack. Zipping the door shut behind her and holding the bag open as Zay laid in a couple hastily dried bottles of water. "I wonder if they have any new trails."

"I'm hoping for unmarked trails," He smiled. "Those are the ones that change almost every year." He then put in a few granola bars. "Dad did you find the bug spray?"

Henry was rummaging around a tote of camp gear, games, and a small med kit. He pulled the kit out and opened the smaller tote, pulling out a small green bottle and shaking it. "Sounds empty. Mary do you have some cash so they can get more up at the shop?"

She was sat at the picnic table looking over a paper with some tent pipes around her. "Yeah, in my purse. I think it's like three bucks at the store."

Zayra turned on a heel and climbed into the van, digging under the passenger seat to pull out Marys brown purse. Digging through she pulled out her wallet and pulled out a five, "Got it." Shoving it back Zay barked behind her.

"Grab a pen too, incase we find unmarked trails."

Sighing she dug one out, shutting the door. Offering both to him to stash in a pocket. "Got your phone?"

"Yep, yours?"

She put a hand back on her butt pocket, "Yep."

He yanked the drawstring bag closed and swung it around to his back, "'Ight, lets go."

Zayra padded up beside him as they started down the paved road. Tail twisting up over his, watching him hook his thumbs on the strings. Looking back at their parents as they seemed to start sternly talking to each other. "Do you think they know? Or are they arguing about Uncle Xander again?"

"Probably Uncle Xander or the fact mom went above dad... I think it triggers his sensitive masculinity. Don't worry about it sis." He bumped her shoulder with his arm, "In two days we'll be sixteen and probably doing our family outing to the beach where I wander off to find booze."

She rolled her eyes, "How exactly do you get people to give you beer anyway?"

"Come on Zee, I look and sound older than most guys my age... Half the guys in school our age haven't even had their balls drop yet."

Her ears flicked back, gaze upward, "You know I never understood that saying..."

"Hit puberty," he said. "Higher libedo, sudden unhealthy interest in porn, and for humans; pizza face."

"You mean acne? When the skin gets super dirty and gets infected?"

"Yeah, nasty stuff, we just have to worry about the occasional ingrown hair..." His hand rose to rub his cheek a bit, "They're painful too..."

Padding down a left hand road they stopped at a large cabin like building with some cars parked outside it and a big container of ice bags.

Zayra scooted closer as they stepped inside, sniffing questionably as the odd smells filled her nose.

"Good morning," said the cheery plump otter behind the counter, barely looking up from the customer before her.

Pulled along she followed down a few isles where they stopped in front of a few brands of bug spray. Her eyes turning and ears up as bright colors caught her attention. Stepping away she stood before the isle of candies. Maybe I can convince mom to buy us some... I could really go for something sweet... Like marshmallows...

He poked her side, "Come on sis, you know we're gonna have smores tonight."

"We are?"

"When don't we... Ten bucks grandma even brought those weird fruity ones you like so much."

Her mouth watered at the idea of it, "Okay..." Her hand grasped his, following him along through the store to the line of others. Waiting quietly through the few others before Zay paid for the bug spray and lead her out.

They stood at the corner and he took off the plastic cap, shaking it a bit. "Alrighty then, hold still and keep your mouth shut."

"This stuff smells terrible..." She whined.

"I got the minimal scent stuff, you'll be fine." He sprayed along her arms and legs, careful to spray over her toes. Then her face gently, neck, and ears. "There, doused."

Zayra sneezed and took a couple rough breaths while Zay sprayed himself down before putting it in the bag. Feeling his tail curl with hers before he offered her a map. She opened it fully to show the whole camp, letting Zay hold the right hand side to free a hand and follow some of the roads. "Okay. We're here... Our camp site is..."

"Two 'O' five," his left hand pointed to a spot not too far from where they stood. "So we could take trail eleven..." His claw tapped on the small red line through the greenery of trees. "It splits with twelve and we can take eight back towards here. We'll end up on the other side near the other bathrooms but it beats trying to backtrack on ten to meet back on eleven..."

"Doesn't twelve go through the swamp though?"

"Yeah, it's got the wooden walkway and the small overlook for bird watching. It's your favorite part."

"Was, last year I almost fell in," her ears flicked back. "Not that Jacky helped..."

Zays nose scrunched, "Yeah I know. But jack-ass ain't here." He took the map and started to fold it. However he grumbled trying to get it to fold neatly. With a huff he handed the map back, "Here, I know where I'm going."

She took it, following beside him as she followed the creases to fold the map neatly before stuffing it in her back pocket.

The camp was average. Campers and tents set up with fold up chairs. Dining tents with tables under them. The smell of fire and woodsmoke were all around them, and there were hints of other scents. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, even steak and pancakes

Breaking off the paved road they trotted along a dirt path that had a marker with the number eleven. Zayra moving to stand behind him on the narrow path, "Sooo... What do you think Uncle Xander got us?"

"I'm hoping a new game station. He got us the Helo Deta, and the Helo Ultra came out just a few months ago." Zay stepped over a raised root, "But that would mean your presents are just a bunch of games."

She bounced over the root and grinned, "Yeah but he knows what games we like. Dad still thinks I'd be happier with some doll game for girls."

"By doll game, he means blood, guts, swords and chainsaws, right?"

"Monsters... and Aliens..."

Zay lowered his ears, lifting a hand to run his fingers along them and his hands over his face, "Blek!" His paws ruffled his hair and he shook his head, "Trails haven't been walked yet..."

"And that's why dad goes first when we hike as a family," Zayra crossed her arms. "I hate spiders..."

He shuddered a bit and huffed, "I think everyone does... It was new too. It was still sticky." He rubbed his hands vigorously around his head and ears before continuing on the path.

Zayra matched his footing, marching behind him in silence for a while. "Sooooo....."

An ear twisted toward her but he stopped at a crossed path. "Eleven to Twelve right? Then eight back?"

"I think so," She leaned cautiously over a poison ivy grown pole. "Yep."

"Swamp smells worse than usual this year... Wonder if the ducks are hanging around still..." He mused.

She sniffed the air, ears up. "Or the warm tempetures have the algae growing worse than normal."

"Could be it too I guess..." He started down some steep dirt steps molded with wood to hold them together. "Come on sis."

"Coming," she pittered down along behind, stumbling down the extra tall last step and slamming into Zays back. "Ouch!"

"Careful grace," he laid a hand on her hip as he looked over his shoulder. "You good?"

"Y-yeah I'm fine," she rubbed her nose a bit.Ouch... My toes hurt now... I hope I didn't break a claw...

Down the path it widened into a wood bridge. Plenty wide enough for them to stand side by side. Zayra hobbling a bit though she tried to avoid making it obvious. Her middle toe had an uncomfortable cramp.

The cat-tails and weeds sprung up around the boards that creaked underfoot. The path winding between trees and smelly boggy water before they came to a small area in the middle. It curled around a small grove with lilies and frogs. Fish splashed care free just under the surface.

The area had some fencing to lean on and benches screwed into the sides. Even a gazebo was built on a separate bridge for people to enjoy.

Zayra sat heavily on a bench, "Can I have some water?"

He slung off the bag and opened it, offering her the bottle. "See anything interesting yet?"

Gasping after a drink she handed it back, "I'm just glad to be out of the house. Ever notice how small ours is to everyone else's?"

He sat beside her with a breath, "Yeah... Wish mom and dad would move somewhere bigger... I don't wanna switch schools or anything though... Just more room... With thicker walls..."

She leaned against his shoulder, "With a dining room separate from the kitchen..."

"And a living room at the back of the house... with huge windows that overlook a lake..."

Her nose scrunched, "I'd rather live next to some woods. With a big yard between to discourage skeeters."

"Nah," He leaned back, hands on the bench. "A lake. Watch the sunrise over the other side. Be the go-to party house. Water side access. Beach babes soaking up the sun..." His voice drifted, eyes in a distant land.

"Yeah... The ear infections from dirty duck water..." She let out a startled squeak as he pulled her earlobe up.

"You wouldn't have that issue if you washed inside your ears after swimming..."

"But it feels weird," she whined. "Leggo of my ear!" She put a hand on his chest, trying to push him away but leaning her head to follow his lead.

He breathed in her ear, tongue hooking her earring a bit. His hand shifted to hold her head, teeth finding her earlobe, dancing around her earring.

A shudder raced up her back, claws winding into his shirt. "Z-Zay..." Her ears started to burn, teeth hooking a lip with a whimper.

His free hand slid across her leg, cupping her mound through her jeans. "It's nice to be alone... No school... Away from mom and dad. Just us and some nature." His whispers blew in her ear a bit, sending more shutters through her.

She pressed her legs together, squirming around. Oh god... Ohhh fuck! Zay we're gonna get caught!

His body pushed her over to lay out on the bench, "God Zeezee you smell soo good when you're all hot and bothered." His lips dropped to kiss and nip at her neck, hips pressing between her legs.

She kept her hands on his chest, huffing against his hair. "Zay... We're gonna be seen... Other people w-walk this trail..."

His hands slid down her shirt and under, stroking along her white furred belly and black sides. "Relax, we'll hear em before they see us..." He started a rhythmic hump, grinding their clothed groins together.

Zayras mouth gaped, panting heavily as fluids soaked her underwear. "I'm... Zay s-slow down..."

His body arched, head lifting to find her lips and bury his tongue, "Hush... it's hard to hear people if you're whining..."

She put her paws on his shoulders, noses pressed together. Ears back, whimpering as quietly as she could. I"m gonna come... I'm gonna come!

He nipped her lip, hands holding her midsection firmly.

Her excitement made her lift her hips into his thrusts, "Z-Zay... Don't stop..."

His ears flicked back, grunting quietly, "I'm gonna have to... Make it quick sis... If we get coated we're gonna have to hit the water before we go back!"

Her claws raked his shoulders, purring as her lips pressed him into a kiss. It was enough and her legs tightened, hips thrashing until she lay under him trembling.

He panted as his hips rose to put his weight on a knee. "Fuck... I'm so close..."

Her eyes glanced down and her ears perked, "Well it's not gonna just go away."

"No shit Sherlock," he grabbed her hand and sat her up, looking around a bit.

"Can't you cum in the water?"

His ear twisted and he looked into the water that lapped at the boards beneath them. Small fish swimming around, "I guess... But this is your fault, so yer jerkin it."

"How," she asked.

"Just like in the shower, but this time clothed," He lead her over to the small wood fence, straddling her just right.

Zayra placed her paws on the old wood and pressed her knees together, "Like this?" Her ears shot up as she heard his zipper. "Are you sure about this?"

"Yes... Maybe..." his paws hiked up the legs of her shorts. Purring in her ear as his throbbing shaft slid through. His tongue falling from his teeth, claws digging into her hips as he yanked.

"Oh Jesus," Zayra swore, grabbing the railing, hips mashed to his front.

His chest laid on her back, purring with far softer thrusts that pressed her to the wood bars. "Its so easy to forget how soft your fur really is...Like silk. Must get it from moms side... Same as these hips..." He groped them as he spoke.

My hips aren't anything like moms! Her ears burned with a blush, panting heavily. "H-Hurry up Zay... I don't want to get in trouble." A shudder raced up her spine as his claws raked along her thighs and jerked up on the legs of her shorts.

"So noisy... Can't I just enjoy you? Its early enough we're not likely to get interupted... Just remember how hard you came when I was sliding right against you." As he spoke his left hand groped along her zipper.

A soft moan escaped her, biting her lip, claws on the railing, making blue painted grooves from her nails. It was amazing... God it was like... A monster, big and strong... needy. His growling was so hot!

A blush crossed her cheeks and ears, rocking her hips back into his thrusts, smiling as he gave a pleased grunt and surged forward. So... Feral... No thinking just doing what comes naturally. And that bite. My scruff was tender for like three days after but it felt soo good!

Zays hands wrapped around to her front, hugging her as he squished her hips between his and the railing. Nose buried in her neck, "You're so turned on. Bet your panties are fuckin soaked. God knows its hot down there now."

Her tongue fell from her teeth, "H-hurry up... I don't wanna get caught..."

With a snicker he rubbed his teeth to her neck, "Hard to not want to milk it..." His hand rose, clasping lightly around her throat. "Guess we should be getting back..."

She felt his hands fall down her body and grope her rump. Yipping as her hands flew to grab the wood posts by her legs, dangling over the water.

"Tall people problems..." his hands gripped her hard, slamming his knot into her thighs.

Zaaaay! We're in public! Anyone could turn a trail corner and this probably looks questionable as fuck! She looked over her shoulder with a frown, growling quietly, "We're gonna get in trouble!"

"Relax and let me work, I'm close."

She let out a huff, arms propping her up as best she could. Listening to his soft moans turn to grunts, feeling his pace pick up. Blushing her nose lowered and watched his cock press out between her thighs, drooling pre that soaked her fur.

His hands reached over, tapping her sides, "Gimme your hands..."

Awkwardly she reached back, feeling his hands grip by her elbows and pull her up, arms around her chest with his hands on her shoulders. His face rested on her shoulder, gritting his teeth tight. Her knees were pressed tight, feet coming up with a groan, "Harder."

With a snap his teeth gripped her scruff, pulling it back as his hips slammed forward. Growling as thick ropes were tossed over the water.

Her body tingled all over, tendrils of pleasure blooming from her neck. Mouth falling open for a broken whimper. Her drenched folds twitching as an arousal bloomed again.

His breaths fell over her in heavy waves, hands trembling a bit as they slid over her breasts. Gently he stepped back, setting her on her paws but held her tight. Slowly his jaw relaxed, teeth pulling away from her hide.

She purred gently, legs trembling as she looked over her shoulder. Their red eyes meeting.

He slid a hand down her front, the other lifting up her neck to grasp gently. Running a thumb along her throat as he leaned over and kissed her whiskers.

Zayra rose a hand and touched along his cheek, turning herself to meet his eyes. "Feel better?"

He gave a soft bob of his head, rubbing his face against her. "We'll swing by the bathroom to wash up."

She slipped her paws down and pulled at the hem of her shorts, "And so I can handle this awful wedgie you gave me." Claws picking at her crotch to release her soaked underwear from her butt crack.

"Well hurry up, I'm getting hungry again and I bet Uncle Xander could use a hand making chili." He shifted his shorts as he zipped up.

With a little more adjusting she followed him, swiping up their bag as they trotted on back into the dirt trails beyond the trees. "So... What do you think grandma got us?"

"Which grandma?"

"Grandma Brice," She said stepping up on a tree root to hop onto others like stepping stones. "Nana Reynolds just gives us gift cards..."

"Yeah but at least with gift cards I can get what I want... Grandma Brice just gets us clothes she thinks we'll wear... Or weird shit like... Oh what was it last year..."

"When she got you that super ugly christmas sweater because mom had mentioned you didn't have any christmasy clothes." She trotted ahead, rounding a corner onto another path. "Then the year before she gave you a book all about cars because she found out you were in drivers ed and working on your license."

She could almost hear him roll his eyes, "Yeah cuz a history book shows me how to change a tire."

"I got a box of cereal," she said. "My favorite too."

"Think I helped you eat it too," he said from behind her.

She paused, looking over his shoulder and catching him lifting his gaze from her tail. "What, do I have a wet spot?"

"Huh? Oh... no, just hard not to stare at," he gave a grin and a soft head tilt. "It's even harder when you wear those skinny jeans with sparkly butt pockets."

Her ears warmed and she huffed, "It's just a butt..." Her ear flicked as he came up behind her, breath on her ear as he whispered.

"It's a great lookin ass... Wouldn't mind seeing it in just panties."

She elbowed him a bit, "You're weird."

He came up beside her, sweeping his tail up under hers to hold it, "Yer weird, but thats why I love yah."

A small smile crossed her lips, purring lightly, "I love you too."

Back at camp they were greeted by two more campers getting set up with awnings and moving two picnic tables together. Xander and Henry stepping clear as Mary tossed out a plastic table cloth. "Oh good you're back," She said cheerily. "Go see if grandma and grandpa or Aunt Lily needs help."

"I call Grandma." She could hear his soft lightly withheld groan as she skipped away into the camper where the two older foxes were rummaging around the camper in totes. "Grandma, I came to help."

She rose her ears, a smile crossing her whiskers, "There you are, we wondered if you and Zay had gotten lost. Did you bring back extra maps?"

She stopped in her tracks and splayed her own ears, sheepishly smiling, "Oops... Guess we forgot that on our way back."

"That's alright, can you help us unload all these boxes? Had to pack it all to keep it from movin' around."

Zayra smiled brighter and opened a box, "Okay!"

Zay pressed the fitted sheet under the bed corner, feeling the uncomfortable gaze of his step cousin Janis who had an overly excited smirk on her lips. His tail flicked as he felt her brown eyes cross his back.

Janis was not a fox, like her father who had married into the family. They were black bears. As such the barely thirteen year old was heavier set, with large shapely thighs and a barrel chest. She was a dark brownish black with a pale blue striping pattern on her arms and back from her tiger mother.

He sat up as his aunt Lillian walked down the small hall from the kitchen. Ears twisting as he reached for the top sheet.

"So how was your school year Zay," The purple striped vixen asked. She looked similar to Mary but her lavender hair was darker and she had bright blue eyes that seemed larger behind her gold rimmed glasses.

"Pretty good I guess," he replied as he tossed the sheet over the bed, helping Janis tuck the bottom under the foot of the bed. "Missed most of the soccer season though."

She set a small stack of pillows on the foot of the bed and set a hand on her pregnant stomach, "I heard, hope next year you can play with the rest of em. I know how much you like soccer."

Janis tucked in the sheet on her side, "When are we going hiking?"

"Not sure, probably after lunch. I'd imagine Xander is itching for time away from the cows. Speaking of which did you and Zayra hike this morning?"

Zay had a pillow tucked under his chin, working at shimmying a sheet over it. "Eh? Oh, yeah just a quick one through the marsh."

"See anything exciting," Janis asked.

His mind wondered to Zayra bent over the railing, eyes darting away to avoid her gaze, "Uh... no... Not really."

"Maybe we can go on a short one again," Janis head turned to Lillian. "Pleeeease?"

"You'd have to talk to your father about that," she replied. "Just make sure you finish making your bed before you go, and you have to go with someone."

She rolled her eyes, "It's not like theres murderers or kidnappers out in the woods."

Zay could feel his eyes roll as well, tossing the pillows at the head of the bed. "Do you need help with anything else Aunt Lily?"

"Could you stock the fridge out of the cooler? The big gallon bag of blueberries goes in the freezer for pancakes tomorrow."

"Can do," Zay said, dismissing himself past the pregnant fox and into the 'kitchen' area with a tiny fridge. "Where is uncle Allen?"

"He went to go get ice from the store," she replied.

Zay busied himself sorting through the cooler and putting things away carefully, using a rag to dry off some of it from the water that pooled at the bottom. Musing to himself before perking as the camper door opened and a burly black bear waddled in. "Hey Uncle Allen."

"Hey Zay, you been good this school year?"

"Well I only had a week of detention," he stated.

The bears brown eyes narrowed, "What was it over this time?"

His ears flicked back, turning back to the fridge, "Er... Zayras boyfriend cheating on her... He admitted it to me and then went to make out with her... So we had a little scuffle..."

"And those scabs?"

Zay looked at his knuckles, the wounds from his fight with Gerald and two friends had healed pretty well, but there was still some scabbing that would occasionally crack and bleed. "Not school related. Went to pick up a friend and got jumped."

"No way, really," Janis squeed from the bedroom, almost barreling into the kitchen. "That's so cool!"

Zay closed his eyes, already sore from rolling them so much. "Yeah... I guess..." He set a package of bacon in the drawer and stood, laying the rag by the sink as he closed the door. "Want me to dump the coolers Uncle Allen?"

"Yeah, that'd be great, you can lean em up against the camper to dry."

Zay closed them, and hefted one up, carrying it out to dump it at the edge of the woods, going to turn and nearly slamming into Janis, "Jesus christ."

"So when can we go for a hike," she asked, large paws together with her little tail wiggling.

"I don't know, I still have to talk to my parents," he stepped around her. "And I might go help Uncle Xander with chilli." Laying the cooler up against the camper he fetched the other one, grumbling as he could hear her follow him around. He was careful not to let his tail sway too much, knowing she had a bad habit of not noticing a long tail.

"So are you gonna ask? Maybe we can go on a quick one?"

He let out a breath, "I'm not the person to ask. Go ask my mom if we even can, then we can figure out who all is going."

She waddled off, leaving Zay to roll his eyes as he dumped the coolers ice water.

Hopefully Zayra wants to go, actually pay attention to the trails, maybe keep Janis off my ass. He returned to the camper and set the cooler to drain and dry. Straightening out his back his ears perked, hearing another truck and camper rattle down the road.

With a turn his ears flattened, "Oh god please no..."

The off gold truck pulled into the open trailer spot behind their own tents.

A pretty lavender hued striped fox waved her hand over the roof of the truck, "Yoo hoo Zay honey, come help Uncle Clifford with the trailer." He could even hear the jingling of her bracelets and charms that wiggled on her wrist.

An ache formed in his temple, grimacing as he started his way over. "Coming Aunt Isabella..." Kicking blocks between the tires he let out a long sigh. Then heard two squealing children bolt from the truck.

"Charlie, Martha, make sure you say hello to grandma and grandpa," Isabella shouted as the kids ran off.

Zay rounded the camper, Why did I have to be related to them... Hoity toity is putting it lightly!

"Zay, Zay, Zay," Charlie screeched, running up and slamming into his legs.

He grunted, ears back as his paws fell to the five year olds shoulders. He took a stressed inhale, knees turned inward as he masked his pain with a forced smile. "Heya Charlie, you've... gotten big."

The fox dog was an odd color of grey and blond with brown eyes, smiling up at him to show a missing tooth. "I lost my tooth! See it!" His tongue slid between the gap.

"Yeah, I see," he gently directed the boy a step away, eyes up as the pit of his stomach started to settle. Just fucking tall enough to head butt me in the junk. Now he's a pain in the ass, and the balls! "Why don't you go show grandma, she's in their trailer."

"Okay," he squealed and ran off.

Letting out another breath, adjusting his jeans with a squirm. Moving to the truck where the blond lab stood pulling out some fold up chairs. Grunting he caught one, lips pursed tight.

"Hey champ, ready for your birthday?"

"Uh... Yeah," his tongue licked over his front teeth. "Where do you want em?"

"Up against the campers fine," he said, pulling a few more out, then a large roll that clattered with metal pipes. "You can set up a dining tent right?"

Laying the chairs down he grumbled, "It's not a one person job, but yeah..."

"Great! We lost the instructions for it a while ago so I can't for the life of me figure it out."

Maybe another hike wouldn't be that bad... He was tossed another couple chairs and perked an ear as he saw Jackson.

The fox dog was about twelve, wearing a dark sweater and ripped jeans. Hands in his pockets and hood up as he seemed to shuffle around to escape to a shady spot. Pulling out his phone to blare death metal in his ears.

Zay rolled his eyes, Edgy brat. Tryin' to be on of the cool kids now. He laid the chairs down and stood up, dusting himself off of some dirt and leaf crumbs from the bed of the truck. Then an arm wrapped around his, boobs around his elbow.

"Aunt Mary said we could go!"

His ears blushed, flicking back as he turned away, "Okay okay, well we'll want to take some water with us just incase. I'll find Zayra and see if she wants to come."

Janis squeezed his arm, "Hi Uncle Clifford, we're gonna go for a quick hike."

"Sounds great," he stated then turned to Jackson, "Jackson... Jackson!"

He pulled his earbuds out, groaning, "What?"

"How about you go with your cousins for a hike?"

"Do I have to," he whined.

"Yes," Aunt Isabella said from the camper. "Go spend time with your cousins!"

Zay did his best to with hold a groan of his own, flicking his tail as he turned. "I'll go find Zayra."

"Just wait for Ben and Vanessa, we passed Uncle Frank on the highway."

Rounding the trailer with Janis in tow he grumbled under his breath, pulling his arm away from her. "Why don't you run off and get some water bottles?"

"Okay," she exclaimed as she trotted off.

Stepping into grandmas trailer he saw Zayra stocking the fridge while their old grandmother sat on the couch folding some dish towels. "Hey Zee."

"Yeah," she closed one of the drawers.

"Janis wants to go on a hike, you game? We'll make sure to grab more maps on our way out so we don't forget on the way back."

Her ears flicked back, "Is Jackson going?"

"Yeah but we're apparently waiting on Ben and Vanessa too, so their gangs probably going to want to go. And we'll avoid the pond."

Her nose dropped, tail flicking, "I dunno..."

"Come on Zee please? Yah can't leave me alone with em."

She let out a sigh, "Okay, fine... But if Jackson pushes me I won't go hiking with him again."

"He won't, I'll keep you two seperated."

"You can go ahead and run along Zayra," the old vixen said. "I'll enlist uncle Clifford to come help me finish up in here."

"Okay grandma," Zayra got up and followed Zay out of the trailer into the grass. "What trail are we going to take then?"

"Same as before, but avoiding the pond. We'll circle back on another one. Uncle Frank should be here soon with his small army, and I'm betting they'll want to go too..."

"You know they'll be in charge right? Vanessa and Ben are older than us, and Ben's a jerk..."

"He's a jock," Zay snickered, "And it probably doesn't help he goes to a run down country school." He turned his head as there was a small crash from Uncle Cliffords trailer. "Uh oh... I better go check on em. Find Janis and make sure she's grabbing enough water. We'll take your bag again."

Nodding she trotted off toward Aunt Lily and Uncle Allen.
