Zen is searching for the mage in the woods that can help his brother be freed from the curse Issac put him under. He finds the mage and learns of what cost it would be to bring his brother out of the sleeping curse that shattered his mind.

Hang on Natani! I'll get help for you... The young forest wolf Zen thought as he moved as quick as he could through the dark woods on the outskirts of town. He carried his sibling on his back, hoping that the person he needed to see could help his younger brother Natani.

In a crossfire between Zen and Issac, Natani got in between and foolishly thought she could get him head on. The result left Natani unconscious and his mind shattered while Issac was killed by his own spell. He regretted taking that mission from the start and involving the younger sibling. He was all Zen had.

The nurse in the hospital back in town mentioned someone living in the forest far off, with magic that could repair Natani's mind. Zen kept on running until he ran out of breath, eventually stopping to catch it and rest. He leaned against a tree and started to think this was all a wild goose chase. Until his eyes caught sight of a mansion not too far away.

Once he was ready to go, Zen hoisted Natani onto his back once more and started off toward the large home. With him and a bag that was strapped on his brother's back, it took nearly an hour to get to the mansion. It was more huge up close than in the distance, a couple guards standing at the doors. They looked like wolf Keidran but none that Zen had ever seen in his kind.

He made it up the step carefully, staring in awe at the home before one of the guards spoke to him harshly, "State your business! What do you need with the young master?"

Zen snapped to and directed his gaze to the guard on the left, helping Natani up on his back more before saying anything. "My brother. He needs help. I was told someone here could help him with this curse on his mind."

The second guard looked at the other and nodded, waving for Zen to bring the younger sibling inside. The door opened slowly with one of the wolves going inside the mansion to lead Zen into the atrium. It looked even bigger on the inside, a staircase in front of them once out of the front entrance.

Up in the private study on the third floor, a young half breed sat at a desk as he filed through papers and counting coins. He had seen Zen come through the courtyard and talking to the guards, smirking slightly for he knew what this forest wolf wanted with him. If he could get past the guards that is.

The wolf guard led Zen up the three flights of stairs, going past each floor that they turned off to or went up more. By the time they reached the third floor, Zen was more than exhausted but he had to make it for Natani. Down the hall on the left was a room closed unlike the others that showed what was inside every room. They stopped and the guard gave a knock to which the Keidran behind the door spoke out, "Come in come in!~"

The guard moved aside to stand watch at the door, Zen holding onto his sibling while opening the door slowly to reveal himself to the blonde half breed. The room was lined with shelves and shelves of books or other trinkets. Some shelves held scrolls or ink bottles, some just ledgers. This private room had everything in it, including a view out to the courtyard where they came in. "I was told you could help me? My brother has been put under a curse...."

"You were told correct.~ I can help you and your.....Hm...?" The blonde Keidran peered over Zen's shoulder at the sibling that rested on his back. Brother huh...? He stood up from his chair, setting the quill down and walking from behind the desk over toward the two. His hand reached out to touch Natani's face, grabbing it gently as if he were afraid to wake him. He examined his face and curiosity struck, wondering how a younger brother could look this feminine. "I can help you and him but there is a catch. Something you look like you don't have much coin to offer for I'm afraid....."

"Please I....I need you to help him....He's the only family I have. I can't just leave here empty handed..." His face was sad and losing hope, trying to keep on his feet after walking for hours and hoisting up Natani once more. "Isn't there anything else I can do? I'm pretty useful. We both are. My brother and I joined the assassin's guild a while back, doing jobs whenever they showed up. Maybe we can work for you for the price to help my brother?!"

"Hm....maybe.....but let's not be hasty. I think some introductions are in order. My name is Clovis, owner of this estate and if you will self-anointed prince of greed.~ Welcome." He smiled something sinister, bowing slightly and attention still on the other sibling who was under the curse.

"Zen. And this is Natani, my younger brother. I'll do what I can to save him. We can work for you until the debt is paid." He gave a nod and fingers gripping his brother's body tighter, fighting to hold back tears. Zen needed to get Natani back first, then seal the deal. "Please just help him..."

"Hm..? Very well. Let's get your brother out of that curse first then we can work on details later. Come. We must take this to the underground chamber.~" Clovis walked off toward the door, motioning for Zen to leave first, The young wolf gathered the strength to walk more and went past the guard toward the stairs, while Clovis spoke to the bodyguard close by, "I want you to make sure nothing goes wrong....Is that understood?" The bodyguard nodded and helped lead Zen toward the chamber. This would prove to be quite interesting.
