"Good luck in your interview, Silvie! You'll do great." With a suppressed sigh, Silverstar locked her phone and slid it into the pocket of her jeans and looked around her again while distractedly reaching to scratch at her neck. "Damn shirt is so uncomfortable." She thought nervously, noticing she was leaving marks on her skin and forced her hand to stay its motion on her thighs and took a deep breath. Looking around her, her red eyes rested on the assistant, a golden furred dog of the name Edward. His tight shirt wrapping around his lithe arms and scrawny chest causing Silverstar's mind momentarily went to a daze, as a hushed whisper suddenly echoed in her mind, eerily similar to her own voice; "Oh, succulent flesh. How easily my blade with slide across his arm while reaching to his thin, gentle throat and penetrating it. Oh, how wonderful it'll feel!" Silverstar's hand darted up to the temple of her head, her fingers intertwining with her white hair while her lip trembled slightly; "Get out of my head, I don't do that anymore!" she said very quietly, the golden-furred dog's eyes shifting to her as she did, one ear of him bobbing slightly.

Lowering her hand, Silverstar started scratching at her neck again absentmindedly as a buzz sounded from the assistant's desk. "Miss, Mister Brighthorn is ready for you." Edward's firm voice broke the silence as he stood up, his tall figure towering over hers and gestured to the door behind him curtly. "Thank you." Silverstar stood up and brushed the wrinkles away from her jeans, striding to the door and knocking it while trying to quell the anxiety bubbling inside of her. "Come in." A deep, slightly muffled voice replied to her knock and she pushed the handle down, entering the naturally lit office. Sitting on a leather chair, a brightly colored deer sat. His black button-up shirt only framing his deep blue eyes and dark, glowing antlers protruding from his head. An image of him with lifeless eyes flashed in Silverstar's mind as he greeted the deer, trying to ignore it as she sat down at the other side of the desk, the fine mahogany separating them. "Thank you for agreeing to see me, Brighthorn Sir." Silverstar nervously muttered, her voice a little high pitched.

"Please, its Arthur." The deer replied with a gentle smile, opening a drawer by the side of the table and pulling a small stack of papers out. "Well, let's get to the topic at hand. I saw you applied to work at the hotel's restaurant as a bartender." "Yes, Arthur sir. I heard many things regarding the restaurant here and thought it'll be a great place to work at." Silverstar kept repeating the replies she and her boyfriend Alle thought up and rehearsed in preparation to curb her anxiety. "Well, tell me a bit about yourself. What made you choose this establishment?" Arthur pressed on, letting his hands rest on the stack of papers as his piercing eyes gazed at the fox sitting in front of him. "Well, I think the aspect of bar-tending will fit me and I hope to gain more experience by working in such an impressive hotel as yours. "Silverstar replied, making sure to compliment the deer's hotel when possible. Laughing, Arthur's smile returned to his lips as he picked up the papers on his desk, making Silverstar's heart skip a beat as he did. "I like what I hear!" Arthur held the papers, his eyes scanning the words printed on the pristine paper, his brows subtly dropping to a frown, which Silverstar was certain now was her colorful resume. "I'm sorry, miss Silverstar, but I'm afraid we will not be able to hire your services." Arthur set down the resume and stood up, apologizing again as he opened the door for her. "I hope you will have better luck someplace else." the Deer smiled faintly, earning himself a glare from Silverstar; "All of you say that. How about you hire me instead? I don't need your wishes." She growled fiercely, walking away defiantly while Arthur scowled at her back.

A bus trip later, Silverstar walked back to her apartment and sighed, ditching the itchy shirt and laying down on the couch, grumbling all the while. "If I had even a sliver of a chance at that job, I ruined it with my outburst..." the fox scratched at her head, and pressed a pillow to her face, ruffling her hair in the process."Fuck, guess I'll apply to more places." She groaned, sitting up and grabbing her laptop, idly browsing at job bulletin forums and applying to everything that piqued her eye until the lock clicked, Allelujah stumbling into their apartment. "Good evening, babe." The dusk Lycanroc smiled gleefully at her, his light brown and white fur framing his bright, green eyes as he sat his work bag down, rummaging in the fridge for water, pouring two cups and handing one over to Silverstar. "Watcha up to?" Alle leaned down behind her, looking over her shoulder as he took a sip his cup. "Just looking for more places to apply for. Pretty much tanked my interview today. Again." Silverstar grumbled and discarded the laptop, standing up and teasingly loosening her bra but not letting Alle any view while she was at it. "Are we still up to go out tonight, sexy dusk?" the nine-tailed fox murred, throwing her hair back and glancing behind her back at Alle who grinned at her teasing, scampering over to her and grabbing her hips with a chuckle; "As if I'll ever say no, especially with such a gorgeous view!" Alle slide one of his arms up before Silverstar slapped it away with a smirk and twirled into the shower, deliberately dropping her bra at the doorstep; "Oh, what a charmer! But lemme shower beforehand. Your stinky fur needs a scrub too!"

Silverstar showered quickly, knowing that Alle wanted to shower as well and went to get dressed, wrapped in nothing but a towel and groped Alle's ass firmly as she passed next to him, eliciting a surprised yip from him; "What a fine ass you have. Almost as good as mine!" She called out after him, dropping the towel while she rummaged for clothes to wear to their bar night, settling on a simple, revealing shirt and shorts with net stockings and fixed her hair, tapping on her phone while waiting for Allelujah to get dressed. "Ready?" The Lycanroc's voice carried from their bedroom, as he came out struggling to button his shirt with his damp fingers, unsuccessfully fixing his buttons. "Let me fix it for you, goof. Where do you wanna go tonight?" Smiling, Silverstar reached to fix his shirt for him, deliberatly letting her fingers caress his chest as she buttoned the shirt in a teasing, slow manner. "Uh... There's this new bar that opened downtown we can check out! I heard they got some nifty drinks we can try. The Lantern walk exhibit is also nearby so we can take a look too." Alle stumbled over his words at her teasing, grinning mischievously as he grabbed her wrists lightly and pulled her to a quick kiss; "Don't make me pull everything off and claim you to myself after all it took to get dressed up!" He teased the nine-tailed in return before she pushed him away, feigning an exasperated expression on her face and flicked at him with her tails as she turned resolutely to the door. "Lets go, lazy ass!" She chuckled and beckoned the Lycanroc over who stood grinning at her, taking long steps to catch up to her.

Stepping off the bus, the couple walked intertwined towards a flashy looking bar entrance, poking fun the entire time as they found seats to occupy in the slightly busy place. Moments later, before they were able to let their eyes explore the unfamiliar bar they were approached by a brown furred dog, holding a notepad with a pen clipped to it and wore an apron covering his white shirt and black trousers. "Welcome to The Happy Hour! I'm Felix and I'll be your server today! May I interest you in the night's drinks, Orange Martini and our White Russian?" Felix's chipper attitude seemed to radiate to the lively bar atmosphere as the other bar goers conversed happily with each other. "What are those drinks?" Alle inquired, unfamiliar with both. "Orange Martini is very similar to normal martini, with the addition of orange liqueur and orange syrup. White Russian is a mixture of Vodka, Kahlua which is coffee flavoured liqueur and sweetened, heavy cream on top." The dog replied diligently, explaining the contents of the drinks briefly and professionally; "We'll take the Orange Martini and White Russian then please." Silverstar replied and winked at Allelujah and made him chuckle, knowing her sweet tooth urged her to order that. The dog nodded, jotting their order down and turned to the bar to prepare their order. As Felix left, Silverstar and Allelujah allowed themselves to look around, absorbing the view of the tastefully furnished bar. The walls covered with posters of old movies and ornaments; A fancy Roman clock hung above the bar. In one corner sat a well-maintained Juke Box with a sign saying "please use me" hung on it, and pleasant music wafting from the hidden speakers.

"Quite the tasteful place..." Alle mused in amazement and Silverstar had to agree, appreciating the beautifully made bar as Felix returned to them, holding a tray with their drinks on it, as well as a plate with fresh fries and placed it on their table; "The fries are on the house. Enjoy!" Felix hummed and left them be, returning behind his bar with a smile. "Impressive service!" Silverstar smiled at Alle and took a sip of her drink, a dreamy expression taking over her face as Alle tried his martini, the sweet and tangy drink much to his taste. "Wow." Silverstar mumbled and sat it down, picking from the cream with a spoon. "He certainly knows his drinks!" Alle exclaimed in approval and placed his own orange beverage down. "You know, you still haven't told me how did your interview go! What makes you think you tanked it?" Alle prodded at her curiously, smiling innocently. "Oh. I may have scolded him after he denied me." Silverstar replied with evident embarrassment, emptying her glass in one gulp and scooping the cream out. "But how was your day?" The fox asked, desperate to steer the conversation away from her failure of an interview. "The usual, it was a rather slow day fortunately. I was able to catch up on my reading because of that. I found a new recipe I wanna try!" The Lycanroc smirked and downed the rest of his drink as well, munching on the still warm fries along with Silverstar.

"Oh, I have something you'd want to hear!" Silverstar suddenly giggled, a mischievous grin adorning her cheeks; "Remember that long chat I had with Princess? She actually came to me asking what's a blow job!" "No frigging way." Alle gasped and laughed out loud, attracting curious eyes to them momentarily. "What did you say!" Allelujah's interest skyrocketed, shocked and amused that the innocent girl he knew had actually asked sexual questions. " I explained it, down to the tiniest detail, of course! She was so red by the end of it!" Silverstar chuckled fondly and grinned; "She even said she wants to try it out. I wonder how would that turn out!" She continued chuckling at the memory of the situation, waving her hand to ask for the cheque. A minute later Felix brought them the cheque and Silverstar brought him her card. With a nod, Felix pulled out a portable register and inserted the card to it and allowed the machine to process the payment. A sharp been emanated from the register and Felix's brow wrinkled slightly as he tapped at the machine again, only for another sharp beep to sound as he retrieved the card and handed it to Silverstar with an apologetic tone; "I'm sorry, but your card was declined. Would you like to try something else?" Silverstar's mouth opened slightly as if she was about to speak before closing it back as Alle put his hand on hers, handing Felix his own card which was quickly approved. "Hope to host you again!" Felix's professional attitude took over and he smiled, pocketing the machine in his apron.

"Let's go." Silverstar sighed and led them out of the bar, almost dragging Allelujah behind her in her rush to leave the bar. "Silvie, slow down!" Alle called out, struggling to keep up with the fox's quick pace and tugged at her arm, pulling her to a stop. "Silvie, please wait." Allelujah panted for a second, his hair disheveled as his green eyes looked at Silverstar with worry. "Whats wrong?" He carefully asked before the fox cut him off; "What's wrong?! I couldn't pay for our date night! My card isn't working anymore! After all this time I still cant find a job and now I can't even pay for two measly drinks anymore!" Silverstar raged, turning to walk down the lantern lit street, albeit at a slower pace. The Lycanroc rushed after her, opting to walk quietly beside her as they walked down the street. "I'm sorry, dear." Silverstar muttered quietly, leaning a little as her hand reached to clasp Allelujah's warm hand, and he pressed it firmly. "Stressful week, another failed interview and now this. I just wish I could find a job already. That would solve everything" The fox sighed and looked at Alle with a saddened expression, the red lanterns painting his fur and eyes in a vibrant crimson color and his brown parts seemingly glinting in the light as her own silver fur soaked the lantern's light and turned a darker, deeper hue of crimson. Alle leaned towards Silverstar and pressed himself to her, his arms pulling her to a tight embrace as he murmured in her ear; "It will be alright, I'm sure. Its never easy to find a job and besides, I'm always here for you. You will succeed, we just need to wait for that one chance." "Yeah... I guess." Silverstar wrapped her arms around her boyfriend's back, leaning her head on his chest with a faint smile making her lips rise. she absentmindedly stared at the street while enjoying the Lycanroc's embrace, and froze as her eyes slid over a familiar form illuminated strangely by the lanterns, mixing with the bloodied clothes it wore. "Happiness? A normal life? You don't deserve it!" the bloodied figure's voice echoed in Silverstar's mind, making her tighten her arms around Alle who mistakenly took it as a sign of affection until the nine tailed started to shake.

"Silvie darling, you okay?" Alle tried to look at her expression which was obscured by her hair with concern. "Let's just go home." Silverstar murmured, extracting herself from his hug and turning while still hiding her shaken up expression. "Let's just go home." She sighed and shook her head, glancing at Alle's concerned expression. "I'm sorry babe, just saw someone I thought I knew." Alle nodded silently and took his jacket off, wrapping it around Silverstar as they walked the way back while Alle had his arm wrapped around the nine-tailed's shoulder the entire time until they reached their dark apartment who Alle quickly lit, leading her to the bedroom; "Lay here for a minute, lemme get you something to drink." Alle gently pushed her to the bed and rushed out, the clinking sounds of the kettle and mugs closely following him. Silverstar smiled fondly to no one in particular and settled in a sitting position in their bed and breathed in the familiar smell of Alle from the jacket wrapped around her and smiled at the silhouette dashing about in the kitchen, casting curious shadows to the bedroom she was bundled up in.

"Here." Silverstar was gently woken up to Alle holding a steaming mug to her, smiling softly. She reached her arm out and took it from him as he turned to settle down next to her, his body pressing to her own warmly. "Sorry, I must've dozed off." The ninetailed apologized, taking a careful sip from the tea, and a second one once she knew its just the right temperature. "Silvie, you don't have to apologize for anything. I like you and I'm here for you even on your bad days. Especially on your bad days." Alle shifted slightly and wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pressed her closed before covering them both with a soft blanket, humming softly. Silverstar smiled and set her mug down, turning to hug Alle loosely as sleep overtook her. As she drifted to a pleasant sleep, she faintly heard a soft voice embrace her in its warm tone; "Love you, babe."
