The Card

Eric rushed home as quickly as he could and struggled to find the right key to his apartment. The lithe twenty year old programmer had just scored an awesome deal as he fought with the door knob, quite overexcited. Pushing his thick glasses up the bridge of his nose, and wiping wisps of his mahogany hair from his eyes, Eric finally got the right key and entered his small studio apartment. Throwing off his hoodie into a heap of clothes by the closet, Eric was left in a polo shirt and cargo shorts.

It wasn't a large place, but the software engineer didn't need much. The rent to the place was easily affordable on his salary. The studio at least had a large kitchen and living room, and it contained what he wanted most: An A/C and a dishwasher. Plus it helped that that it had a lot of storage and places to display his memorabilia.

Passing various statues of video game characters and a multitude of still mint condition action figures, Eric sat down at his computer desk and pushed all the paperwork he had on there off onto the empty sofa next to his work station. He really should buy some more furniture he mused, but then again, he really didn't have that many friends, so what was the point?

Not that it mattered really. Eric was intensely shy and usually preferred talking to people online over any tangible connections to people in real life. It was just so much easier that way. Sure, he wished he had more courage, and perhaps someone to talk to, to love but it was so much easier to connect to people through the internet.

For now, the programmer just couldn't believe his luck. He dropped the six booster packs onto the table and thought back to just about half an hour ago. On his way to get some groceries, Eric had found a new comic shop opened up just down the road. This was much closer than the one he usually went to, plus the place seemed to have a lot of rare memorabilia. Not to mention the place seemed to be currently empty, a rare plus.

What caught Eric's attention when he first entered, though, was the card section. Right there, in the front of the shop, were mint first edition packs of Pokemon cards. His mouth dropped open. Those packs went for at least seventy bucks on e-bay and here they were, five bucks a pack each.

"Ah, a customer." An older man smiled as he walked out from the back. The sixty something man was wiping his rounded glasses on his knit sweater. He was pretty tall, and looked like he was built a bit under his sweater but it seemed he'd grown quite the spare tire in later years.

"Yeah, oh um... yeah... I see er...you have..." Eric rubbed the back of his head, blushing a bit. It was unfortunate it took him a while to really get comfortable to talking to someone new, even if they probably had similar interests. So he just smiled and nervously pointed to the booster packs.

"Ah yeah, had those for a while. Found them when I moved to our new location here. Hear there's always a special card in all of them, why you interested in purchasing them son?" The proprietor smiled, opening up the case and bringing the packs out for Eric to inspect. There didn't seem to be any abnormal wrinkles or bends in the casing as the programmer flexed the boosters.

"I'll take them!" Eric exclaimed, and the older store owner seemed to smile.

Weirdly, on the way out, he thought he heard the nice older gentleman wish him a nice new life.

Now looking at the packs, spread out, Eric decided to open just one, to see what was in the booster. Most of these cards were probably either out of date or not tournament legal anymore so while they were worth more as boosters, he didn't see anything wrong in opening at least ONE pack. Besides, they were only five bucks each.

Slowly ripping the set open, anticipation started welling within Eric. Sure, he might not get anything special, but there was always at least one rare card, possibly a holofoil. And perhaps he could acquire a truly rare card, such as Mewtwo or Charizard? Sure, it was only worth about twenty bucks, but if he got that authenticated that was an easy seventy dollars, well worth the thirty bucks he spent on these six packs.

Passing through the regular trash such as energy cards, potions and other common monsters, in the very back he saw the glimmer of hope. There was the sparkle of some holofoil there! Dropping the rest of the cards he smiled as he pulled the last card out to reveal a...holofoil DILFanine...

"A...Dilfanine..." The rest of the wrapper and cards fell from Eric's hand as he looked at the card.

"A...DILFanine?" While having no idea what a Dilf was, this obviously had to be some cruel joke. While the card FELT authentic, and if it was a misprinting, the value of such an item would have skyrocketed, but the picture itself proved this to be wrong. There was no way this could have been anything but a ruse.

The picture on the card looked at first to be a regular arcanine, but instead the picture showed the canine Pokemon on two legs, as opposed to its usual feral four. Not to mention the colors on its fur had softened a bit, graying, making it look older. And while its arms looked impressively stacked, the creature had quite the massive gut on him. Not to mention he was holding a pipe in one hand and a glass of some liquor in the other.

No, while the art was incredibly well drawn, and the attacks seemed to match up with the original card's stats, this had to be some elaborate hoax. Moaning to himself, Eric ripped the card in half.

"Dang it, just my luck. Fake. And the old guy seemed so nice too..." He grunted a bit, feeling a bit odd.

Suddenly the programmer let loose an enormous belch.

"UUUURRRRPP.... Ugh, and now I've got indigestion, just great..." Eric started patting his belly as he sighed. Sure, maybe the other boosters were real but the first pack cast doubt on the rest's authenticity, and he couldn't take them back. Well, he could have, but he wasn't any good at starting any problems. So the programmer figured he was stuck with the packs as he gave his chunky belly a rub and flexed his slightly numb hands.

Great, maybe he was getting carpel tunnel on top of being screwed out of an amazing find. Oh and even better, rubbing his stomach showed that he was obviously bloating. God...maybe he wasn't bloated the more he rubbed his belly. Maybe he was just getting fat. Of course he was. Being cheated, getting a wrist issue, and now he'd have to cut back on his food. Not to mention he was feeling really itchy. And now hives?

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, just pile EVERYTHING on..." Eric grunted as he looked at his hand and almost fell out of his chair. His hand, or the thing that was his hand, was much bigger and thicker than before. Dark claws had replaced the pale human nails that once were the ends of his fingers. Thick hair had covered the front and back of his fist. Darker pads had formed on his palm and under each thicker, beefier digit, and worse yet, the hair was spreading up his arm. No, this wasn't hair...this was...fur?

"Oh god, oh god, oh god, what is happening to me..." Eric was now starting to freak out as his muscles all over his body started to spasm, making him slightly numb for the moment as he finally did fall from his seat onto the floor. While the changes were mostly painless, and considering the way his hands grew and warped, Eric was quite thankful for that, it seemed his whole body was caught in a slightly painful Charlie horse currently.

"Ugh grrr...what...the...heck..." He moaned, watching the fur spread up his...arms? Well they were his arms but now they were growing bigger, thicker. There seemed to be a bit of tone underneath the thickening tiger striped fur that was covering his limbs. No, more then that, he was actually growing more muscles. He could feel the strength growing in his bulging bicep.

Oh god. No. This really couldn't be happening. As the human slowly continued to change, things began to click. Sure, his mind wasn't exactly at it's finest, various thoughts and fears appearing in his head as his body was doing a Kafka, but he was still highly intelligent. The orange striped fur. The increase of muscle mass. He was becoming that bloody card. A freaking Dilfanine, whatever that was.

It all made sense. A mysterious shop that appears one day. A nice older man. A cheap investment. If he weren't changing into a freaking animal, Eric would have laughed at the cliche.

Rolling over onto his growing hands and knees, he pushed his much thicker ass out as a bulge appeared, growing steadily from his tailbone.

"Oh god....." He actually growled as the lengthy, fluffy tale split open his tightening shorts, the tear spreading down the whole back seam. Well, if the tail didn't do it, his thickening, hairy bubble butt would have finished the job. His hands...or paws as they were growing into then gripped his belt, he needed some release as his now slight beer belly was straining the leather quite painfully.

"Ugh, that's better..." Eric gave a sigh of relief and a deep exhale as his belt finally unlatched, sending his thickening belly out, popping his shorts button and lowering his zipper.

His shirt wasn't faring much better. Eric's now furry belly was pushing it up further and further, and his sudden increase of height was starting to make the once large baggy polo begin to look more like a bra for his thickening chest. God, he actually had a chest now. Sure it was expanding with both muscle and fat, but still, he was actually feeling a bit of pride over having a figure. Any figure actually.

It was strange, and Eric couldn't figure out if it was actually his mind accepting these changes, or if his mental faculties were being corrupted to enjoy this. Perhaps it was a bit of both.

What he didn't expect though, as his thickened, muscular thighs finally ripped the rest of his shorts to shreds, how big the bulge in the front of his shrinking undiershorts had gotten. Eric licked his lips as he felt fur spread around his growing crotch, hesitant to pull his boxers down and see what was happening down there.

The changing man wasn't disappointed though when he did. Already his balls were growing to the size of two extra large eggs, probably double the size they had begun as and his once average five inch member was already seven inches soft and still gaining in length, as well as girth. And quite frankly, they were extra sensitive as well. Eric could actually hear himself growling from the pleasure as he cradled his testicles.

As the programmer's height and weight continued to increase, he found his shoes were quickly ripping at their own seams, his toes shredding his socks as he saw his feet shifting into large, three-toed, thick paws. Fur was spreading down Eric's legs soon after to meet and cover his growing paws as he was having issues trying to get the remains of his footwear off.

Really other than more growth, Eric figured the last of the species changes would be approaching his head now. And just as he had that thought, he could feel his face begin to expand. His tongue started to slowly lengthen as he felt his teeth sharpen into thick, sharp canines.

Eric had to quickly take off his thick spectacles to save them from his expanding snout. Gently placing them aside, afraid of how much power those new paws had, he decided to try and heft himself up. Slowly gripping the desk to help steady himself, the growing arcanine was able to see the rest of the changes to his head finish.

His nose had darkened as his face created a thick canine snout. A thick patch of fur was growing under his chin onto his expansive chest and broad shoulders. Eric's ears had pointed, lengthening as they moved to the top of his head.

And there the programmer was, a hulking six foot five anthropomorphic Pokemon. But that didn't seem to be the end of his changes. His fur seemed to be lightening a bit as he felt slightly tired. Looking closer in the mirror Eric could swear he saw wrinkles begin to form around his eyes as the tuft of fur underneath his slight double chin started to move up to around his muzzle, creating a thick but well manicured beard.

Eric was growing older as he finally realized the acronym. Dilf...if a milf was a... He hit his head with his thick paw at the realization he released another raucous belch. It seemed his body wasn't quite yet done expanding.

While the arcanine didn't seem to be growing taller, his arms were growing massive. Thick cords of muscle were throbbing larger, the definition hindered only by a slight amount of fat and the thick fluffy fur covering his arms.

It seemed the growing Pokemon legs were growing similarly. Thick knots of muscle were expanding his thighs and calves, causing him to have to spread his legs a bit more. His paws were a bit bigger as well, thicker and meatier than when he first laid eyes on them, although they were growing quite hard to see because of one thing.

Jeeze he had a gut. The thick slab of fat rounded out halfway over his beefy groin. It had to be over sixty four inches, and hefting the thick hairy gut left a rather pleasurable sensation in the expanding canine's mind. It actually felt good, more than good. Erotic.

His chest, while hardened underneath, wasn't fairing any better. The thick pecs had swollen and softened, rounding around the sides of Eric's more then ample belly, his nipples bigger and thicker. His polo finally gave up, unable to keep such a bountiful bosom in place, ripping straight down the back.

And still, Eric seemed to be growing older. His once dark stripes were turning more salt and pepper as more wrinkles formed on his features. His body fur had thickened considerably all over, forming a thicker treasure trail down and under his flabby tan belly and to his slightly obscene bulge.

He couldn't really tell how old he was, and while he did feel much more powerful than before, there was an air of tiredness to his body. A thick haze was slowly coming over him as the older arcanine had to sit in his soft chair where he slowly nodded off.

"Eric...Eric wake up..." The soft crackle of fire in the background confused the arcanine as he slowly woke up. His eyes opening, slightly wet and blurry as his mind just wasn't quite all there yet, still groggy from his nap. His paw tried to go for his glasses, he couldn't see without them. Wait, paw?

"Heh, they're on your forehead as usual. I swear big guy, you'd forget your head if it wasn't attached." Huh, Eric though, still unsure as to who the voice belonged to as he dropped the rounded glasses onto his thick muzzle.

The older gentleman seemed to be in some large paneled study. Sitting in a large recliner, with a thick blanked over his legs, Eric looked ahead at the small fire warming the room.

"You must have fallen asleep hun, but you were really moving about in your sleep. Had a nightmare?" Turning his head to finally meet the voice, Eric found a large Mightyena sitting in a similar chair next to him. The two were separated by a small table with two filled glasses of spirits and a still slightly burning pipe. Licking his lips, Eric brought the drink to his muzzle. The cool burn of scotch snaked its way down his throat.

"You know... you keep drinking like that, you might gain some weight..." The Mightyena. Not much smaller or younger then Eric himself gave a sly grin, patting the older man's ample gut. New memories were rushing in as the once human placed his large thick paw onto the yena's. Both seemed to have a thick gold band on their ring fingers.

"Too late, so I guess I'll hazard some more..." Eric smiled, a gentle haze started to come over him as he took another sip of the spirits.

"So do tell, what were you dreaming about?" The yena asked, slightly concerned as Eric replaced the glass and now put the pipe into the side of his thick muzzle. Thick, hearty smoke filling the big arcanine's thick muzzle as he took a few experimental puffs, relighting the tobacco fully.

"Another world perhaps, another possibility. A...rather lonely life, bereft of friends, and a certain loved one..." Eric mused, pulling the pipe from his muzzle and looking up.

"Oh, you must have been quite lonely..." The sly grin returned to the Mightyena's muzzle as he was starring at Eric's blanket. It seemed the bigger dog's member was pushing up not only his belly, but was making quite the tent in the downy comforter. The arcanine gave a sheepish smile.

"More so than I thought I guess." The yena stood up and pulled the hefty hound to his feet, pushing his lips into Eric's muzzle, the two sharing a long, slow passionate kiss.

"Then perhaps we move the chairs, and snuggle under the comforter in front of the fire while I make sure to show you how you'll never be lonely again, big daddy." The yena started pushing the furniture back as Eric's tail started to wag slightly, taking a much heavier puff from his pipe. Yeah, he could deal with being the big daddy.
