Meanwhile at the Castle of Dr. Callyco

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Do you want to play a game?" The kitten in a lab coat stood atop a cluttered table. A mess of cards, dice, plastic figurines, CDs and books were everywhere. There wasn't a single empty space left on the table... The kitten himself was luckily small enough that he could easily stand on top of one of the heavy hardback rulebooks on the table.

"Well yeah...." The gray wolf pup in the lab coat was standing in a chair next to the table so he could see under it. "I thought that was the entire reason you invited me in here for game night."

"Dr. Cutie Pup? Seriously? You're going to open this year by raining on my parade like that?" Dr. Callyco scowled. "That's how we're getting started?"

"I mean that is what you pay me to do." The wolf stuck his tongue out.

"I don't pay you!" Callyco flailed his arms.

"In that case, you're getting far more than your money's worth." The wolf just grinned. "So, I don't see any reason for you to complain."

"Humph!" The kitten crossed his arms. "Anyway... I was talking to you dear future test subjects! Yes, you reading this right now! Not my assistant who seems to only be here to make fun of me!"

"Make fun of you and drink soda!" Dr. Cutie Pup interjected.

"Not the time! The point is... That I... Dr. Callyco have returned! With thirteen new tales of terror! And this year... The tales are all about games! Video games! Board games! Card games! Sports! Even those little games your boss forces you to play at the office to meet new people that no one likes! All kinds of games!"

"I take it for those ice breakers to be included you were really stretching to come up with thirteen different games huh?" Dr. Cutie Pup continued to smile smugly.

"No! Not at all! Just... Variety is the spice of life! No one wants to read thirteen stories in a row about the exact same manner of game! Now then.... Let's begin explanations! For... Those of you who wish to be experimented and forced into these games that transform you into something else! Let's go over the basics! Price of entry is $40! Science isn't free! Do you know how many test tubes it takes to make a magical cursed board game? Second! I have been informed there is a special offer this year! Anyone who is at the $15 or higher level on Patreon can choose to upgrade their monthly reward to Thirteen Tales and pay the difference!"

"I have no idea." Dr. Callyco shrugged. "But I have a script here that told me to mention it! Anyway... Anyone who is already at the $40 level or higher on Patreon can instead cash in their story reward for a Thirteen Tales slot! Thank you for your wonderful support!"

"So, it's something we should be thankful for?"

"The script said to thank them!" Callyco waved his arms. "Now then... Keep in mind, that usually these stories include things such as animal anthro and feral transformation, age regression, shrinking... And sometimes outside of normal animal transformations might have things like fairies are satyrs or satyrs, and sometimes even a little ready to hatch egg! Now... Some of you may be uncomfortable with some of those! And got good news! When you fill out the form in the link below this little explanation you'll discover a section to put in what kind of transformations you enjoy! Click as many as you like or don't like... And then using are scientific database we will ensure you are assigned to the proper cursed games for maximum fun! The form at the bottom is what you use to request a slot! Please make sure you fill it out completely, and include info like your character's personality and appearance! You can also upload a picture! Oh right... And we also included a list of different types of games that might come up, so be sure to check all the ones you're interested in to ensure we give you a proper cursed fate!"

"Is it really cursed if they're picking it out?" Dr. Cutie Pup asked.

"Of course! Don't you know anything about magic!?" Dr. Callyco grinned.

"No. No I don't. I'm a scientist! Like you!" The wolf rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, after submitting the form you shall receive a contact from ME! DR. CALLYCO! In that contact I will finalize details as well as send you an invoice through paypal! Once the invoice is paid, your slot is secured! Just sit back, and wait for the horror to begin!"

"He's forgetting to go over a few important details." Cutie Pup shrugged. "The stories will mostly be posted throughout October, but we're running a little behind this year... To get all thirteen done we're expected to run about halfway through November. Sorry about that, it was be late, or don't do it at all. Another thing to remember, is unlike normal story commissions you don't get to pick out the plot beyond the form you fill out. These are grab bags so to speak, surprises! But as a result, you will not receive a rough draft of your story like normal commissions to be allowed to edit... Instead a final version of the story will be uploaded once it's done. Also, keep in mind stories need to be edited. In the story tracker, link also below here, you'll see a date written. If a story has the date written filled in already, but hasn't been posted yet, and more than three days have passed since the last story, it's probably still being edited! Please be patient, we're trying to get these out as fast as possible!"

"On the bright side! There's no duplicate rule this year!" Dr. Callyco beamed. "Usually, we open up in September, and limit one per person and only let people purchase duplicates after October. Since we're starting this late, duplicates are allowed right out of the gate as long as they don't become a problem!"

"Like don't buy all thirteen slots..." Dr. Cutie Pup put his hands on his hips. "We appreciate you'd want to support us like this, but just share. Having said that, as we want to fill all thirteen slots in a timely manner. We would prefer you not purchase more than three slots at a time... But if we're approaching the end of the month, and there are still slots left, go nuts."

"Also, please make sure you read the terms and conditions of Stories by Calex! That kitten, who is certainly not me, just did such a good job writing those terms I went ahead and stole them rather than write up my own!" Dr. Callyco puffed out his chest.

"Smooth." Dr. Cutie Pup rolled his eyes

"And that's basically it! So to recap! Thirteen stories! Transformations! $40 a slot! And all about games! Sign up now before they're all gone... Cause once they're filled... Dr. Cutie Pup and I disappear for a full year before we'll do Thirteen Tales again! Oh... And one more thing!"

With that both cubs looked too each other and nodded. Then they spoke in unison.
