Terror Fox

Chapter 2

Maza sighed and leaned back. "Getting away from the cops was the easy part. My uncle had already left my blood all over the house after my nosebleed and there was some blood from me in the bed to. The cops would probably get it all wrong and think that My uncles was shot and I beaten and then dragged through the house instead of how it actually happened. I knew it would buy me time to get away." He drank some water from the glass he had been given by the reporter. "My uncle had never trusted any institution so all his money was in the house along with plenty of guns and bullets. I gathered everything I felt I needed pulled a cap down on my head and left through the backdoor after making a mess so it would look like a robbery." Maza smiled wide looking at the reporter. "Everything was so simple, I was going up north and I was going to kill everyone that had a part in my family's death. But things did not work out exactly as I had planed.... "

It was raining outside and Maza was getting wet. He hated to get wet but there was no other way. The alleyway he was hiding in was dark and smelled of urine but it gave a perfect vantage point to the lawyers house. He had done nothing of what he should have done in the courtroom and he was the first target. Maza had already been waiting for over 3 hours, the lawyer was late. Maza suddenly realized he did not know what the lawyers name was just that he was a black cat. Pulling the blanket closer to ward off some of the cold the fox kept looking at the white house. Where was that bastard? Maybe he was working late today...

Then suddenly a car pulled up to the house, a silver Toyota. This is it Maza thought. Hes home. The weather was perfect no one would be outside to see what was happening and the clothes Maza had picked made him look like your typical street bum.

He watched as the cat got out of his car and locked the door holdings his portfolio over his head as cover and as soon as he turned around and started to walk to the door Maza got up. In a half run he closed up fast on silent paws. The lawyer was just about to unlock his door when he heard something behind him and turned. In front of him was a wet and dirty fox with the look of a bum. "Leave me alone, I don't have any money for you" the cat said trying to wave the fox away.

The muzzle flash light up the door behind the black cat. Three times it flashed, the sound from of the silencer almost like bird noises ,and the cat fell back on the door and slid down it. For what felt like and eternity Maza stood watching the body. Hands pressed against one of the holes his pistol had made, blood pumping out between his fingers. He grabbed the portfolio from the ground and bolted. Running back to the alleyway and further. He had to get his bag and leave fast. Down the street, to the left, next alleyway. Maza stopped at a trashcan opened it and reached down grabbing his bag. He turned around and a flash came over his eyes and the world went black.

"Yes hes dead. Yes I know it was sloppy I was in a hurry. Yeah send the money to the usual account" A loud click came from the next room where Maza was tied to a chair. It was a dark room. Besides he chair he was siting on there was only two lamps and a poster on the wall that said "rock on". He tried to shake his head to wake up but that just gave him a headache. "Hello? Is there anyone there?" He called out. He could hear footsteps coming closer and the lamps clicked on forcing him to squint. "So the little assassin is awake now is he?" Maza tried to look at his captor but everything was blurry from the light. "You made quite a mess back there you know. Lucky for you I am sentimental or you would have died in that alleyway". Maza's eyes slowly started to adjust to the light and in front of him was a Raccoon all dressed in black. "I was forced to start young myself" the raccoon continued walking into the room with a chair placing it in front of Maza and siting down to look at him. "You where packing quite a lot of guns in that bag of yours, not to mention cash.". Maza tried to get up but noticed he was tied quite firmly to the chair "That's my money!" "No it was your money cub. Now its mine" The raccoon got up again. Ill come back when your ready to talk seriously". He turned off the lights and left the room closing the heavy door behind him. "Let me out of here!" Maza yelled "I will kill you if you touch my stuff!"

The echo of shoes against concrete was so loud. Maza could make out exactly where the raccoon was without even watching. He was hiding behind a thick pillar not far from the Raccoons red car. Carefully the fox peeked out from his hiding place watching the raccoon. There was no one else in the garage, just cars. Somewhere water was dripping into a small pool. Maza moved silently across the garage, moving closer and closer and hiding behind another pillar. He peeked out again and saw the raccoon drooping his keys, perfect opportunity. He pulled himself back behind the pillar and pulled out his pistol, very carefully cocking it. He leaned out and looked again to see when the raccoon put the keys in the lock. But he was gone. Then he felt cold steel at his through. "Your breathing is to loud." The knife was removed and Maza was slapped. "And I heard you clearly when you pressed against this pillar." The raccoon looked angry "If you want to be sloppy then go become a serial killer, I do not have time for such behavior."

"I'm sorry master Rocky. Ill try more next time" Maza uncocked his gun and put it away. Rocky glared at him. "When your out for a kill there will be no second chances. If they spot you you are as good as dead no mater how fast you run." "Yes master" Maza answered and lowered his ears. The raccoon turned around "Sometimes I don't know why I even bother with training you".

They left the garage together walking into the dark night. The sky was clear and the autumn cold had begun to grow each day. It had been three months since Maza had been "captured" and after humiliations and hard lessons Rocky had started to train him in the arts of a assassin. The name had cost Maza quite some pain in the start. After blurting out "Rocky Raccoon are you kidding me?" he had spent a few days in bed with a bump on his head the size of a mountain. It was a very common name and Rocky did not like when someone tried to make fun of it. They entered the apartment building Rocky lived in and took the stairs up. Maza was breathing heavily when they reached the twelfth floor. "Your still out of shape fox, you need to spend more time exorcising and less polishing your guns". Maza answered as he always did "Yes master". He had learned early on that talking back was not a option and that the raccoon in fact mostly was right. And when he wasn't right, it did not hurt to act like he was right anyway.

There was blood everywhere. Time and time again Maza had to check himself to make sure he was alright. The adrenaline was pumping in his body, this had all gone wrong but there was no way out now. The target to finalize his training had been a low time gangster. He was suppose to be alone, possible have one or two friends over. But the whole floor had turned into a war zone and now Maza had to run to avoid the cops.

It had been so easy. A rundown area of the city, a apartment building with broken elevator and flickering lights in the gray hallways. All he had to do was knock on the door and kill the people inside. Everything would look like a drug deal gone wrong.

Just as he was about to knock on the door it had opened and there was six guys inside all facing him and of course seeing the gun in his hand. What followed was nothing short of a western shootout. The drug dealers had not just pulled out pistols but micro machine guns and machine pistols. Everything moved in slow motion as Maza had put bullets in the closest guy, a hyena. He had then made quick dive into the apartment and towards the kitchen. In the panic and confusion one of the gangsters opened fire trying to hit him but instead filled two of his friends with several bullets. The blood had splattered all over Maza from these meatsheilds and the wall behind him went from white to red doted. With a swift kick Maza had disarmed the next guy. A fox just like him and his main target. One shot to the head and on to the heart and the he grabbed the fox and threw him backwards on the last two gangsters. One of them had jumped to the side and fired several shots which all missed but shattered the window behind Maza. The other fell back with the dead body on top of him. As the gangster tried to reload Maza had pulled out a knife from his belt and thrown it. There was a sharp metallic sound as it hit the Tiger right between the eyes. Maza had stood looking at the tiger after that. His body did not know it was dead yet. Then it collapsed in a heap. Maza had then walked over and pulled his knife out of the Tigers head at the same time he had watched the struggling hyena trying to get the fox body off himself. Breathing heavy then next part had come natural to him. Walking over to the Hyena looking him into the eyes and aiming his gun at him. "Who the fuck are you?" The hyena had said with a accent that said he was from this part f the country. "I am" Maza answered "I am death come to those who deserve it the most..." BANG!.

Maza shook his head, was that what had happened? Did he really say that? He had no real idea if it was all in his mind or if had happened like that. All he knew for certain was that they where all dead and he was alive. With fast and nimble fingers he got a window open and jumped out. Two floors up would not kill you but it hurt as hell when me landed in a forward roll. Rocky would not be happy about this mess but at least the mission was done.

He was now a fully trained assassin.
