Heh, no minors :P Well though there actually won't be a problem with minors seeing this half, you shouldn't be on this site anyway. xD

"Slow down a bit. I'm still confused." Kyo scratched his head, making an awkward expression, one eye closed, his tongue sticking out in the opposite direction. "So you're a Gobstopper?"

"I'm a what?! What the heck is... You know what? I'm not even going to ask. You really must be a dunce."

"I try." The coyote shrugged, tugging on one of the large brass hoops going though his ear. "So like we were talking about... huh?"

"Okay since you can't seem to understand what I was talking about I'm going to ask you once again. How in the world did you get here?"

Kyo opened his mouth as if to speak, then shook his head. "What are you talking about? I told you, I skated. Duh. I have no idea what kind of question that's supposed to be."

The wolf (who Kyo had been told name was Blitzer) growled lowly, shaking his eyes as he put a paw up to his forehead, covering his eyes. When the paw was lowered the wolf's eyes were open, staring into Kyos. "You'll stay here until you can tell us then. Because there's no way that board could have made it here through just you skating. There was some sort of anomaly when you showed up so we know you have to be lying. You'll tell the truth if you want to leave."

"Riiiiight..." He raised a brow, closing his opposite eye. "So... what is here anyway? I can't stay in this office forever, I mean, there's no food or chicks."

Blitzer shook his head, something he was realizing he would probably do a lot around this coyote. "Not here exactly, on this colony I mean, where your movements can be observed. We'll find out how you got here one way or another."

"Uh huh..." The youth nodded dumbly. "I got ya." Sounding like he had done anything but get the statement just said.

"Just get out of here." He said, disgust evident in his voice. "You're free to wander around the colony if you want just know you won't be leaving any time soon, and any attempts to escape won't be tolerated." The coyote rose from his seat, walking towards the door with comment. "Your board will be kept here. Don't try anything reckless while here either. Just a piece of advice."

~*~

"Explodin' seems like a definite possibility to me." His head bobbed to the beat blaring from his headphones, wild hair flipping all over the place with each motion. The coyote stopped, looking around. Interesting colony. Looked just like a city, bright and extravagant, the many stores lining the street were open, though Kyo had no idea whether they were open late because he didn't know if it was night or day. The clear dome covering the chunk of rock the colony was settled on only revealed twinkling stars, not really much of an indication as to what time it was.

Not looking where he was going, he took a step forward, immediately bumping into someone. "Thump" All he saw were bags go everywhere and a startled, "Eeeep!" from the stranger.

"Pardon me." He said upon seeing the white vixen sitting before him, surrounded by her fallen bags. Very pretty.. "Pardon me," He continued, singing at a smooth alto pitch. "While I burst into flames, I've had enough of this world and it's people's mindless games, So pardon me while I burn and rise above the flame, pardon me, pardon me, I'll never be the same." His eyes had been locked on hers as he spoke. He knew he wasn't the best singer but he did pretty well at expressing himself in his words, she had stared at him until he stopped, his voice had that enchanting effect quite often.

He offered a paw, his lips drawing back in a smile to reveal his white fangs. "Sorry about that."

She shook her head a bit, ears twitching as she came back to her senses. "No.. It's all right." She took his paw, allowing him to lift her up fairly easily. His black eyes looking her up and down; she looked maybe a year younger than him, with curves that anyone her age would admire. Her thick black-tipped tail waving behind her. "I haven't seen you before.. Are you a new Jader?"

Kyo made a face, watching her pick up her things. "... A new... Whah?"

"Guess that means no. Funny, you sort of looked like one with the crazy hair and all. So what are you then? Gunner? Technician? Oh, I know! You're the new pilot, aren't you?!"

The coyote scratched his ear as he looked to the side, shifting his weight to his other footpaw, uncomfortable. "Umm... I have no idea what you're talking about."

Her brows arched disbelief as evident in her voice as it was in her expression. "What do you mean? You can't be THAT clueless. How'd you even get here without knowing?"

Putting his crimson paws behind his head he leaned back, giving a friendly grin. "Guess you can call me No one cause I have no idea how I got here. You could always tell me what's going on though."

"All right..." She said slowly, still unsure what to think.

"Oh yeah! The name's Kyo!" He laughed, ruffling his messy hair even further with a few rubs of his paw. "Almost forgot that part."

"Vixy. Its very interesting meeting you Kyo... As for this place.. It's hard to even start. I mean.. Do you even know what this colony is for? Basically this is the R, R&R for anyone who's competing in the Sojourn tournament."

"Uh huh..."

"R, R&R. Rest, Repair, and Reload. Between the events everyone stays here, as does anyone else who's not in the event on that day."

"Right." He gave a nod, taking her bags so he could hold them for her. "So like... what's the Sojourn Tournament?"

"I would wonder why you don't know that but I won't because you didn't even know how you got here in the first place. I mean, anyone else would have seen all the flyers and signs and commercials talking about this since last year, but you're just special I suppose. Basically it's a series of multi or single legged events several teams compete in, each event having different requirements for completion. Usually large nations have teams, but several are privately owned by huge corporations. The teams are made up of five to fifteen members, each having a different job. Hard to explain..."

"Don't worry about it, I've got you so far. Blah blah blah, big race. So what's the point?"

"The team with the most points at the end wins the tournament, gaining glory, sponsors and a huge cash prize. The nations and companies are in it as an opportunity to test new weapons and technology." The tilted her head and turned around, her blonde hair flipping behind her, he gesture that he should follow as she walked ahead.

"So then like... what's your job?" He strode behind her, doing his best not to stare at her but, which was covered by a pair of faded jeans which held to her voluptuous form quite nicely.

"Oh, I'm a gunner." She looked back, winking at him. "But I sub as a Jader too if one on the team is injured or something."

Kyo chuckled, his ears twitching as the two crossed a vacant intersection. "Just good like that, huh?"

"You could say that. I'm not near as good as any other Jader out here but I'm a good shot and I can ride decently so.."

"Right." He stopped at the same time as Vixy, the vixen turning around to face him, grabbing her bags.

"Well this is where we part ways." She tilted her head to the door of what appeared to be a townhouse. "See you around Kyo. Oh yeah... hold on." Opening the door, then setting her things back inside, she walked up to him, patting his cheek. "The singing thing was kinda cheesy. You sing well but.. well, you're lucky you're cute or I might not have acted so nice." Winking, she spun around gracefully, walking back to the door.

"Catch ya later Vixy." He smiled, watching her open her door and enter her home before continuing on his way. Well... that was interesting. Now he just needed some more information on where he was and what was going on. Heh, these... Sojourn Races sounded like fun.

~*~

"Huh... Garage?" He read a sign posted on a door, which led into what he had seen from a distance, to be a large building. "Hmm... cool." The coyote walked in with a casual shrug.

It was pitch black for a moment, then lights flickered into existence, probably. A long room, some hundred or so meters, about ten wide, the walls white, glowing dully, illuminating the black marble floor to create a sleek look. His sharp eyes spotted what looked like an elevator at the end of the room so he walked forward, further observing the room as he went.

Bare but got him the walls had small black squares in them, every ten meters or so, words above them. "Huh?" His eyes caught a hold of a black box that stood out, the tiny crack between it and the wall shining bright red.

Kyo walked over, doing what anyone curious might do. The coyote reached out, touching the square with a paw to find it warm to the touch. Suddenly his neck felt like it was on fire. . "Wham!" His nose met the wall, hard, and his arms were painfully wrenched behind him.

He swore loudly as his attacker, female from the sounds of it, laughed. "Haven't you ever heard what happens to curious little pups?" The grip around his neck tightened, hindering his ability to breathe quite a bit. He felt something wet trickle beneath his nose to his lip, not needing to taste it to know it was blood.

He raised his leg, hooking it backwards, kicking at his attacker, who quickly released him, though the hold on his neck remaining strong. Kyo spun around to find his attacker was not singular, but plural. Three, if one was to be exact in their calculations, two females and a male.

They all wore black, the female on the left holding the source of his choking. A whip with a black handle, the whip itself appeared to be made out of some clear material with dangerous looking blue electricity running through it. A snow leopard with silky fur, gorgeous but quite intimidating, she wore a smile that would make even someone as laid back as Kyo a little bit nervous. Golden eyes that stared at him, making him feel like prey. Black leather gloves and pants made her look like a bondage queen, a chain belt (painful to look at) went through the loops of her belt, running to the collar of the male beside her. A black tube top showed off her midriff, contrasting with her fur starkly.

The male was a ferret, long and lanky, taller than Kyo himself with dark brown fur. His chest was bare but for the fishnet shirt covering it. Black pants, his collar was lavender though large spikes offset the soft color. Though tall he was hunched over, obviously trying to express no dominance whatsoever.

The second female was a jaguaress, her dark hair short, in a bun held together by two silver chopsticks. Sharp grey eyes, making him feel feeble though he was a bit taller than her. She wore a white sleeveless shirt that read "HEEL!" on the front, slowly running his eyes down he saw a short green skirt, a belt with a thick buckle on her hips, long knee-high boots on her legs. She smirked slowly, making him raise his arms instinctively in case she decided to attack him again.

"Who are you?" He growled, wiping blood off his face.

"You're not in any situation to be asking anything of us." The one with the whip tugged it, making his head jerk forward. "Now bow and show some respect to your betters."

The coyote grinned cheekily, grabbing the whip with his paw, pulling back. "I'll make sure to do that when I see some of those around here." Suddenly his whole body jerked as he felt something move through him, a jolt of something that set his body ablaze. Shuddering, he fell to a knee, realizing that it was electricity from the whip that had flowed through him, smoke billowing from where the whip met his fur.

"It really would be a good idea to learn some tact, pup. Now, what is your name?" The other female smirked, the flow of electricity suddenly ceasing.

"Kyo" He stated, voice hoarse. He could hardly squeeze out the word, his body still trembling. Suddenly the leopard yanked the whip, making him fall flat on his stomach, whatever had shocked him, hurt badly; he needed to find a way to get it off.

"Now you get it pup." Suddenly he sprang to his footpaws, jerking the whip, in the same motion, putting his footpaw on it, pushing it to the ground, the female holding it being jerked straight to him abruptly. He swung his other footpaw around, an attempt to kick her but she ducked beneath it, grabbing his leg. She slid her paw up it quickly, slamming her forearm into his genitals, hard enough that it lifted him off the ground a few inches. Sliding her arm back, she grabbed him there, pulling so his legs had no choice but to crumple when he fell back down, dropping him into her waiting paw, grabbing his jaw, slamming it shut then drove him back, cracking his head against the floor as she held him there, claws digging into his skin.

"Hehe, nice try." She said. His stomach ached beyond telling, completely making everything else feel insignificant. He would have cursed if his mouth weren't clamped shut. All right... he'd have to think a little more carefully before acting. Whoever this chick was, she was a good fighter. Not better than him of course, but good enough that careless mistakes would hurt like hell. "So, are you going to practice some educate when I let go pup?" He snorted, nodding as much as he could, the female releasing her grip.

"Heh, don't damage the fragile little Jader too much Catalina, you have to save some for when we see him later on. Now pup.. What team are you on?"

"Uh.. I'm not on a team... erm... I don't know your name."

"Mistress will do. And what do you mean you're not on a team?" Her brows raised in an elegant arch.

"Just what I said... I'm not on a team." His ears drooped a bit. He felt lame saying that again now that he knew what teams they meant.

"Well you'd best find one, loose ends have a bad tendency to get cut around here and you seem to be an exceptionally long thread." He held back a sly retort as she continued. "Come on, there's no fun to be had with this one Catalina."

The snow leopard slowly lifted herself of him, giving his cheek a playful pet. "Lucky I have no need of another pet." He raised a brow but wisely kept silent as she let the whip uncoil itself from around his neck with a flick of her wrist. The group walked away, leaving him lying there.

Catalina stopped, turning around. Another smile that made Kyo rub his neck, wincing as he felt the recently inflicted burns. "I'll look forward to seeing how much of a Jader you turn out to be. Seems that you've already got the look and the attitude." With that she turned around, walking after the jaguaress.

He sat up, still aching in several places. "Thanks... I think."

As the left, he slowly staggered to his footpaws, groaning loudly. Kyos ears twitched suddenly, someone was behind him again. "Goddamit." He swore beneath his breath, turning around.

If he had expected another dominitrix he would have been sorely disappointed. Standing a few paces down was a cerulean dragoness. "Uh... hi." He smiled because she was smiling at him and he couldn't help returning the favor; so he walked towards her, a slight limp in his usual swagger that hindered his gait.

"Hello. I see you had a little run in with Team Verdauga. Are you all right?" She chuckled, her blue eyes glittering.

"Yeah." He straightened up a bit, coughing to the side so he could sneak a good look at her. Dark blue robes covered most of her form, neon green wires twisting around her form several times until they stopped at a pair of large black headphones. Horns atop her head, golden eyes flecked with green and red, he couldn't help staring before continuing. "I've been hit harder though."

"Tough, huh?" She strode up to him, offering a talon. "My name is Crystal and yours is Kyo, right?"

He took her talon, shaking gently. "Yeah. It's uh... nice to meet you." His ears flushed with warmth. He had no problem with letting Catalina have that win, just not doing so in front of someone. He felt like a punk and was embarrassed. "How much exactly did you s-"

Before he could finish his question she had run her talon down his arm, to his chest, stroking from there to move it between his legs, groping more than just a bit. He opened his mouth in surprise, not knowing what to say as he felt a warm sensation from where she touched, his pains washing away just like that. She smiled sagely, letting go of him as he had just begun enjoying the feeling. "Long enough to see you needed that." She answered; raising her talon to reveal the palm was glowing bright green, which slowly faded back into her natural tone. "Tiny nanomachines or something along those lines. I don't really quite understand it, but it's state of the art, helps relax and heal wounded areas."

"Oh..." He grinned. "At first I thought you were just coming on to me." Well, whatever it was it sure didn't hurt.

"So... you're looking for a team?"

"Umm... Kinda. I mean, I did just figure out what's going on here. Everyone keeps saying I look like a Jader though..."

"Well you do. Everything in you just seems to cry out 'Jader'. Your stance, your attitude, actions, even the fact that your clothes are so odd and plain in comparison with everyone else's makes you seem like one.

He resisted the urge to ask what was wrong with his clothes and scratched his ear, shifting his weight onto his other footpaw. "Right... So... If I was looking for a team would you know where I could find one?"

"Well I just happen to know one with an occupation. Of course you'd have to do some tests to see what you're suited for and how good you are. Not to mention, we have to see what the rest of the team thinks about you." His wide grin, welcoming any challenge, said enough in response. "Come on."

He followed where she led, excited to see what awaited him.

The elevator doors opened to reveal Crystal and some... was that a coyote? One could understand Sentais momentary confusion once noting that there weren't exactly an abundance of crimson-furred coyotes running about. Tattered jeans, red hoodie with black sleeves, interesting in a dull way. Turning her attention fully from the parts at the table before her, she laughed. "Always had interesting taste in men Crystal."

"Don't even talk like that Sen." The dragoness parted the distance between them, walking as she spoke. "He's a possible new team member. You know we've been looking for one, he might be able to help us end that recent string of losses."

Kyo followed, not really noting the conversation, looking around the room, which was huge. "Holy crap..." He breathed as something caught his eye. As large as the room he was just in was a grey (too dull to be silver) ship. Long and sleek looking, things that Kyo couldn't attach names to, fins, exhaust pipes (aimed backwards or to the side to shift the ships motion) and the such. About ten meters high (several struts holding it another five off the ground) the back was perhaps some hundred and twenty meters from the tip, where the ten meters slowly tapered down to a dangerous looking point. As he drew closer, entranced by this spectacle, he realized the ship wasn't truly grey, but shifting between hues, blue grey, red grey, green grey, and so on. A large bit began to turn dark red, making him step back, at which the area began to shrink. It came to him suddenly; the ship took on the color of whatever it was near. The floor was made of metal, grey, so it made sense that the ship would be that color.

"I see you've noticed our ship." Crystal said, jerking him from his trance. "You can thank Sentai and the other technicians for that. It was completely designed by them." When she said Sentai, she tilted her head over to the white lioness beside her.

"Well don't spread that credit around too much. Leo and Gyu designed the exterior and came up with the color. I only designed internal systems and engines. Sei did the weapons."

"Wait... So there are four technicians? Oh yeah, I'm Kyo." They shook paws.

"So I've heard. And yes, there are four of us." She suddenly yawned, covering her mouth. "And I think I'm going to take a little nap before finishing up what I was doing. See you Crystal."

She nodded as the lioness left, exiting through the elevator they had just come through.

"So, what'd you want me to do first Chief?" Putting his paws behind his head, he smirked.

"Some tests to see if you're physically up to the tasks which may await you. Also your results are needed for us to present to those in charge anyway, for all the teams to see. So it's fair. I'll be interested in seeing how you do." She guided him around the ship, through a glass door on the far wall, into a room, where the walls, floor and ceiling were spotlessly white. This room was more of a hall really, with three larger all white rooms behind glass doors, several monitors on the wall coordinated with each room. "Go ahead."

Nodding, he did as she said, going in the second door, he turned around, finding the wall was suddenly clear, allowing him a view of the dragoness as she pressed buttons on the console he had seen moments before.

"All right." He heard her voice come in though an intercom. "First test, agility. Look behind you." He did so, spotting a red ball, around the size of a baseball, obviously a hologram, hovering in the center of the room. "Dodge that for as long as you can, got it?" He nodded, grinning. Shouldn't be too much of a problem. Slowly the ball went towards him, giving him plenty of time to step to the side, allowing it to hit the wall, moving at him again, but another sidestep produced similar results.

"That all?" He said boastfully, the next few bounces not much of a challenge for him to evade. Within about forty, however, he was harder put, ducking, hopping, rolling to the side, having to dive out of the way at it zoomed at him in various angles.

He leapt! The ball barely passed beneath him, then back above him when he dropped to the ground on all fours. Spinning around, it barely missed him, he bent back, his spine cracking loudly, limboing beneath its retort. His arms flailed wildly as he tried to regain his balance but he fell to the ground, only to be hit by the hologram an instant later.

Crystals giggle came in over the intercom. "That was pretty good actually. The average for Jaders is about sixty dodges and you made it all the way up to eighty-four. Ready for the next test?"

"Ready as I'll get." He grumbled as he stood, brushing off his jeans.

"Next, we'll test your stamina." His ears perked up at that and he couldn't help a dirty thought crossing his mind, being the furvert that he was. "Then your tolerance for pain." Well that sort of ruined that particular train of thought. Sort of.

"Sounds pretty kinky." He laughed.

"Right. I'm sure it does Kyo. Maybe if you're looking for that sort of treatment I should send you back to Catalina?" That made him chuckle.

"Nah, I'm okay just doing the tests, let's go for it."

"Run for as long as you can in a straight line." Shrugging, he began to jog. Though he wasn't attempting to, he stayed in place, the friction that would normally allow his footpaws to grip the floor and move was gone so he remained there. He ran for what felt like five minutes, then suddenly something changed. He felt heavier; it was like leg weights, but all over his body simultaneously.

Shrugging it off, he continued on, the weight on him increasing yet again after another five minutes. Panting now, he moved at a much slower pace, his weight increasing with each pace, he staggered on until he was pulled to the ground, unable to move a muscle.

"Mmmm..." He heard Crystals voice. "All right. Last test, you won't have to even move." Good thing, even that was beyond him. Tap or say something when you want out, got it? Testing your tolerance for pain right now." He gave a thumbs up, his chest still heaving.

He lay there for a while, just catching his breath, nothing happened. His ears twitched a bit, he felt something suddenly, like his whole body was vibrating. It wasn't a particularly bad feeling, just strange. Slowly the sensation grew until he felt a prickling of his flesh all over his body, made him want to scratch, more of an itch than anything. He drummed his claws on the floor, hardly surprised when the feeling evolved into actual pain, feeling like pins poking every inch of him.

He gave a sharp intake of breath, as the feeling seemed to jump a level. The pins he had felt had been jabbed in him painfully. Claws clenching, he withstood it, even when it got worse, feeling like his body was on fire.

Every second seemed to take ages to pass, each time his heart beat it sent a wave of blood through each bit of his body accompanied by a renewed wave of pain coursing though him.

He growled, clenching his teeth together as the feeling grew worse. He heard a buzzing to accompany the vibrations that seemed to crawl in his skull though his ears and go crazy, his head feeling like the feeling was about to burst free. Even his tongue wasn't free from the torture, feeling worse than if he had eaten a bowl of the spiciest chili ever and washed it down with hot sauce.

He tapped the floor, pain shooting through his arm each time his paw hit the floor and suddenly the buzzing stopped, leaving him in pain, but not nearly as much. Slowly his jaw came apart, it took him a while, his fangs had been clenched so hard, and he heard Crystal enter the room, squatting beside him. "Are you all right?" He couldn't exactly respond, in a way he was in shock, regaining other feelings, he was numb to it when she put a talon on his shoulder, feeling only the same tingling, buzzing sensation he felt over the rest of his body.

"Y- yeah." He slowly said, having regained use of his mouth. "Kinda hurt. A little."

"A little?" She raised a skeptical eyeridge, touching his ear with her talon, glowing green again (the only reason he could feel it), her fingertips coated with a small amount of blood. "Wanna take it easy? You're gonna kill yourself before we even get a chance to register you."

"Takin' it easy isn't my style." He grinned, slowly rising to his footpaws. "So what next?"

She shook her head slowly. This one would be a mess out there. "Sleep, we can do the rest tomorrow."

~*~

"You seem to be in a good mood." He commented to his teammate, not bothering to conceal his smirk. "Must have found a nursery to burn down on your way back."

Catalina turned to the wolf dragon hybrid, smiling widely. "No, though that would have been an unexpected windfall, just found someone interesting to play with. Reminds me of you."

He looked up from his meal, glancing around before continuing. Plain room, table, a picture on the wall, plant over by another wall. She didn't have anything in her paws and he was eating a sandwich so there wasn't' any silverware for her to stab him with. It was always good to know what you might have to deal with when you talked to Catalina in case you said the wrong thing. "What do you mean by that? He good looking?"

She chuckled, something that made half of him shiver, the other half grin in anticipation. When a female like Catalina one couldn't help but be a little worried to some extent. "He's cute, he'll be fun to toy with. His name is Kyo."

"...That reminds you of me?" He raised a brow.

Walking over, the feline petted his cheek. "That and his red fur."

That definitely set him on edge. "Where's Holland?" He asked (speaking of the ferret Kyo had seen with her earlier.)

"With Katrina, being a good little pet. What I'm craving tonight is a bit too... intense for Holland. Right up your alley though. Now follow me." Without moving, he knew she had walked into the bedroom the sometimes-shared on occasion (whenever she didn't make him sleep on the floor outside or while hanging upside down) The hybrid sighed. When she wanted something, there was no saying no. He could sense she was in a particularly rough mood so this was most likely going to hurt. Rising, he cursed whoever this "Kyo" was to a worse fate before heading to the bedroom.

~*~

The coyote woke with a low groan, rubbing his neck. He probably wouldn't have been as excited when Crystal had siad he'd be sleeping at her place if he had known that would mean he'd be sleeping on the couch in the living room while she slept in her room.

Sitting up, he yawned. The room was dark, so dark that even his sharp eyes only saw blurry shapes around, but perhaps that was just because he had only just woken up. Can't have slept too long, he knew that, he never did sleep very long, four or five hours tops. Swinging his legs over the edge of the couch, he threw off the blanket she had given him and stood up. He needed to get out for a bit. Though he was comfortable inside, he felt like getting some air.

Moving over the floor, through the darkness like a wraith with wild silver hair, he stealthilly made his way out the door.

~*~

Well that wasn't something you saw every day, even around there. At first Sei had thought it was that wolf-type character from team Verdauga but she realized he was too small to be him. That guy was huuuge.

This one seemed to be either very interested in the pavemment or his footpaws, the... ah, he was a coyote, stared at them as he slowly paced down the sidewalk towards her. It was pretty obvious he was thinking about something. Suddenly he stopped, right in front of her, finally realizing she was there. "Oh, hey." He looked up, in her eyes, his own seeming to shift a shade darker as he smiled. Funny, must have been a trick of the light.

"Heya." She smiled in return. "Something on your mind? You looked kind of out of it."

His smile spread into a grin and he shook his head. "Nah, nuthin' goin on up there. Can't say there really has been in quite a while." The coyote put a paw behind his head and further ruffled his hair. "The name's Kyo."

The feline smirked back at him. Curious coyote, more interesting than most of the pilots around here. That's what she figured he was at least. "I'm Sei, nice to meet you Kyo."

"I bet it is. I've heard of you actually. Know someone named Crystal?"

"Yeah, I do.." His ears tilted to angles that made him look at bit goofy and he stepped around her, looking her up and down from the side. Kyo hopped away a few paces, putting his paws up, index fingers meeting the tips of his thumbs, he looked though the small box they created, looking like a director the whole while.

"Mmm..." Kyo stuck his tongue out, his brows furrowing.

"Like what you see?" The feline asked, turning to him with an amused smile on her face.

"You bet I do. But I just had to check to see somethin' real quick."

"Oh, and what's that?" Slowly walking back up to her, he sat his head on er shoulder, nipping her neck, a fairly intimate act coming from someone who basically was a complete stranger. This Kyo had some guts.

"Ohh... just seeing how you'd react to me askin' to continue this conversation over a cup of coffee?"

"Ha." She looked at him skeptically. "At my place, right?"

"Wow, moving a bit quick, aren't we? I was gonna say at a café if y'all got those here, you know, get to know one another."

"Oh, to that I'll say yeah." She smiled, tail flicking back and forth.

"Great, theeeen we can head back to your place."

~*~

"Mmm... so you really just got lucky meeting Crystal I guess." Sei told him over her steaming mug of coffee. Her elbows were on the table, her paws laced together to prop up her head, lips curled in a smirk that matched her green eyes.

"I guess. Maybe I'm just good like that?" he sat on the other side of the marble table, his own mug in his paw, just as hot as hers though the temperature didn't bother him as much as it would most.

"Maybe." He looked up at her and back down again, still trying to understand exactly what he was seeing in her that was so damn interesting. He couldn't peg exactly what it was, her smile, her voice, no matter how hard he tried to figure her out, nothing was coming to mind as to what it really was. It was -something- though. He wasn't crazy. Er, well maybe he was, but he was right about this.

"So... I take it you really must like what you see, you keep looking at me like that." She giggled, slowly moving a paw down to hold her mug, glancing down at the contents before taking a sip.

"Oh, sorry, I keep zoning out. Happens a lot." Kyo shook his head out of his reflective state and took a big gulp of coffee, his eyes watering as it scalded his throat.

"I've noticed. New here... so, where are you staying?"

"Oh, you know. I'm sleepin at Crystals place." Grinning, he winked making sure his words were as misleading as Crystals when she had informed him of such.

She wasn't fooled. "Ohhhhh, I see, so you're sleeping on the floor or outside, huh?"

"Couch." The coyote glanced off towards the side, rubbing his neck as he frowned. "My neck's killing me cause of that thing." He tilted his head back, then rotated it around, hearing it crack loudly.

"Maybe you should sleep somewhere more comfortable?" He couldn't quite read her eyes to see what she was thinking when she said that.

"Yeah, that would be pretty sweet."

Her smirk grew. "I bet. Well why don't you sleep at my place? I'm sure you'll be plenty comfortable so you can get a great nights sleep."

"Heh, gonna be hard to sleep with all the coffee we just drank.."

"Well I'm sure we'll find a way to entertain ourselves until we can't stay up."

Ha, the first chapter's over with, well the first part. The second part will include all the yiff that should have been in this one. Haha, credit goes out to friends who've been in it. Rest will be added asap. Email me if you got a prblem with the story or somethin like that. The next half is kinda spoogey so if you're not reading the story for the yiff you can just skip it. Easy, huh? I know, I'm a genius.
