Enigma Wars: To Catch a General part 3

Most powerful is he who controls his own power
The black fox came to a stop infront of hidden door with the same looking slabs, but they were more pushed in so only he could notice, to others it would look no different. He pushed on the pushable tiles in a code combination and the door opened upward allowing Maverick to walk in. Once in, Maverick called for a medical droid to check him for any injuries. The droid found a graze on his ribs, 'probably from when I ran into those Pantoran soldiers.' He thought as the droid stitched him up.
After Maverick was all stitched up, he walked into what looked like a control room, for it had control panels, screens showing parts of his base, and a holo-communicator in the center of it all. The black fox took a seat on the chair and watched the screens, one of them showed two foxes one male, and the other female in enigma robes, and two male panthers in Pantoran armor. They were talking to one another.
"The soldiers got in my way, I could've taken him." Rosa said angerly to her former master, griping her light saber tightly with frustration. Crimson looked a little shocked at what he heard from his former apprentice, but he hid it very well.
"Let's keep moving." Crimson said while walking ahead, the rest followed him. Then they started running. Maverick watched from his secret control room, he laugh evily and said, "You aren't going anywhere." He pressed two buttons on the panel. While still running a wall shot up in front of them, cutting them off, and one came up behind them blocking they're escape. They came to a stop looking at what stopped them, and looked at the wall behind them.
"Looks like we're gonna have to fight after all." Crimson said knowingly that Maverick won't go down without a fight. A hologram of Maverick appeared, "Greetings enigmas, and soldiers."
"General Maverick, how about you come out and show us some of that Allegiance hospitality." Crimson said to the hologram.
"Patience, master Crimson all in due time. But for now enjoy all my base has to offer, it was prepared for uninvited guest like you." The hologram of Maverick vanished
"I have a bad feeling about this." Rosa said feeling something not right, until the floor beneath them opened up, acting on instincts, Rosa and Crimson both jump to safety. One Pantoran soldier fell to his death, while the Commander pulled out a grappling gun and fired it at the ceiling, it stuck into the ceiling saving him from falling to his death. He started making his way back up, Rosa and Crimson pulled on the cable to help him back up to safety. Once they got him back up to safety, Crimson stands.
"General, I know your watching, we've seen the lower levels of your base we're not impressed." Crimson said sounding upset.
"Good enigma, good. You'll provide some sport for me yet." Maverick said over the intercom watching through a camera. Crimson pulled his red light saber and stabbed it.
"Gore, it's time to entertain our guest." Maverick said looking at a differnt screen that had a mechanical beast on it. The medical droid came up behind him and said, "Sir, you have a trasmission from master Wolfen." It pushes the answer button, and a hologram of a wolf wearing Allegiance robes with his hood down.
"Maverick, I fully understand that the enigmas have infulltrated your base."
"You, you called away my guards, you let the enigmas in here. So you would test me." His master was about to speak again, until Maverick canceled the transmission, "Alright master, I'll play your little game." Maverick got up from his seat and walked over to a cabnet, he opens it inside were light sabers from different enigma masters. He replaces two that he had on him for two in the cabnet, "Now I'm ready for another fight." He does an evil laugh, as he activates his sabers, crossing them.
Meanwhile, in a circular room. The two enigmas and Pantoran soldier were back to back forming a small triangle, with their weapons drawn, "stand firm, there might be worst things here than Maverick." A robotic roar was heard.
"It looks like you're right about that, General." The commander says seeing what made that roar walking towards them. It was an unknown creature with some mechanical parts, and armor cover the head, back, tail, and legs. But the neck had no armor at all, and other places, their light sabers could cut through the metal. The creature roared and charged at them, they dodged it and circle it, weapons at the ready, "Shoot it Commander." Rosa ordered, and the commander fired at it's neck.
The creature screeched and swung it's tail at him, the commander dodged it's attack. Rosa ran up to it and sliced off a peice of it's armor, the creature went to attack her, but she leaped over and on top of it. She stabbed it in the back and jumped off, the claw on it's tail grabbed the commander and swung him around viciously. Hitting Rosa unsepectingly, Crimson slices across it's face in hoping to blind it. But to no avail, he get's hit by it's tail to, knocking him aside, the creature slams it's tail to the ground hard the force from the impact killed him instantly. Rosa and Crimson get back up, Rosa slices off the tail, and cut's the back of it's legs, bringing it down to it's side. Crimson then delivered the finishing blow by stabbing it in the neck, it screeched in pain as it died. He sheathed his light saber and walked over to where Rosa was holding the dead panther soldier.
"Maverick will pay for this." Rosa balled up her paw making a fist, "I will destroy him." She said her emotions running on hate, now.
"Rosa, not all things must be solved by power." Crimson said wisely to her.
"But in this war strength prevails, the rules have changed." She said looking at Crimson's eyes.
"Maybe it is you who has changed." Crimson said regretably telling the truth, "Come on, we still gotta find Maverick." Rosa gently lays the dead panther body down and follows him.
"But, sir you need your rest." The medical droid persuaded Maverick to rest.
"I will rest when the engimas are dead, now close the door after I leave." Maverick said refusing to rest, he leaves his secret control room and the door closes behind him. Maverick starts walking down the hall.
"You're right master that door must lead somewhere." Rosa whispered to Crimson. When Maverick was a little ways down the hall, they went up to the door and Crimson started pushing the tiles at random trying to find the right combination.
In Maverick's control room, the medical droid was sitting in the chair looking at the moniters. Then it looked at the moniter with them at the entrance, "The uninvited guests." The droid press the talk button and spoke, "Sir, the uninvited guests are trying to get into the control room."
Maverick heard, stop, and turned to see them at the entrance. He grins evily to himself and walks back over to them, taking his time not wanting to rush into a fight just yet. Crimson manages to get the door open, he steps in and turns around seeing Rosa still staring at Maverick. "Rosa, come on."
"No." Rosa say's sternly turning to him, "You go on ahead, I'll hold him off." Rosa sounding bold and ready to take on Maverick
"No, Rosa, you may not be an apprentice any more, but you are not ready to take on Maverick." Crimson trying to plead to Rosa not to take on Maverick.
"We mustant run, we should finish him." With that said the door close's seperating the two, Rosa turns around drawing her blue light saber at the ready.
"Greetings young enigma." Maverick greet's her and draws one of his red sabers and ready's, "Where's your master." He asked pretending not to know.
"You will know soon enough. Even you can't destroy us all." Rosa said not lowering her guard.
"Of course, I can." Maverick takes a swing at her, Rosa blocks and force pushes him back a few feet. Maverick stands his ground and does force lightning at her, lightning shot out of his paw tips at her. Rosa blocks with saber the lightning being absorbed into it, "Is that all you got?" She goad's him. Maverick stops and force dashes at her, their light sabers clashing as they met. In the control room, the droid was watching them fight and cheering for Maverick, until it notice that Crimson was still missing.
"Wait, where's the other enigma? Oh no." Was the last thing it said until a red beam came up behind him and came across slicing the head and the top half of the chair off. He sheath his saber and watched the rest of the fight.
Maverick trying to push his at her, but Rosa kept their sabers at a stalemate. Until Maverick secretly went to draw his second saber and Rosa felt a burning pain in her stomach region. She looked down seeing a red beam stabbed inside her, Rosa fell down dead dropping her light saber. "No." Crimson said with sorrow in his voice as sat in the chair. Maverick picked up Rosa light saber to add to his collection, he looked at the handle then looked at the camera, "I will kill all of you, do you hear me enigma, do you hear me!!!!" He raised his voice almost shouting as if someone were in front of him.
"R-6, meet me at the south platform." Crimson said to his astro droid, through his comunicator
"I'm coming for you next Crimson." Maverick said still looking at the camera.
"I'll be gone by the time you get here." Crimson said over the intercom, he pulled out his light saber and stabbed the counsol destroying the controls to his base, and left the control room.
Sometime later. Crimson found his way to the south landing platform, "R-6, I'm at the platform, where are you?" Crimson asked through his communicator, but he didn't get no answer, "R-6?" He asked again this time sounding concerned.
"Going somewhere?" A familar voice said, coming from behind Crimson, he turned around seeing Maverick standing behind him light sabers drawn.
Crimson draws his light saber and ready's himself, Maverick swings both of his sabers at him. Crimson flips over him and sheaths his light saber, the fog forming around them and he back's into it hiding in it. Maverick turned around to see he was gone, he kept his guard up and looked around for him. Crimson drew his light saber and swung at Maverick's back, Maverick turned and blocked his attacked. Maverick swung his other saber at Crimson's head, he ducks and does force grip on Rosa saber handle and does force push on Maverick. Maverick looked back at him in anger and get's back up, while Crimson smiles as Maverick get's up. "You do reaiize, I wield great power enigma fool."
"And that power will only consume." Crimson said as the blue beam came out of Rosa's handle, and readies himself.
"If you give up now, I'll promise you will die swiftly." Maverick gave him a deadly offer
"I don't think so." He smiled as his starfighter came up behind, Maverick swings at him with both sabers and misses because, Crimson back flips on it and the fighter flies off with the Pantoran gun ship behind it, "Let's go home, R-6" he get's in the cockpit and flies away.
Maverick walks in a communications room, and a hologram of Wolfen appeared, "Master, the enigma are dead."
"The defeat of the Pantoran soldiers and young enigma was expected, but to best another enigma master, that is another remarkable victory."
"The enigma master crimson escaped." Maverick hesitantly told his master the truth.
"So there's room for improvement." Wolfen said sounding disappointeded in Mavericks failure.
On planet Pantora, in the enigma temple on the council room level. Crimson was standing in the middle of the council chamber, Onyx and Torn were sitting in their seat's. "Sorry for the lost of your former apprentice." Onyx said and continued, "how did she die?" He asked
"Her heart was in the right place, but she tried to answer Maverick's power with her own." Crimson answered sadly.
"To answer power with power, the enigma way this is not. A danger there is, of losing who we are" Torn said wisely
