First off, I din't own any chars on the Digimon series because they are copyrights from Toei, Bandai and other names that involved in the stories. However, I do own the char named Sarah and Al Revenant. I apologize first hand oif there are spelling or grammar errors because my English is average and my second. Those who watch any Digimon series know that there are interactions between Digimon and tamers or any humans via or directly. Anything else, please enjoy.

Chapter 37: Revive as a Digimon.

At peaceful evening, many neighbours are gathering at one spesific house. All of them were wondering why there was a collotion in that house. They saw an ambulance flashing red and parked right in front of that house with the back door opened wide revealing many emergency kits ready to use by the patient.

"What is all the commotion here?" "Why there is an ambulance in that house?" "Isn't that Sarah's house?" Those are the whispers of the curious neighbours.

Inside the house, two medical units were trying to save a boy's life. One of the units is checking the boy's heartbeat with a stethoscope, while the other one is preparing a resusitation kit.

"We've got a disoriented pulse here." The first unit reports the situation. "We need to stabilize the pulse first, give me 1.5 mil of sedation." The other one prepared the syringe. He injected the syringe into a sealed bottle and pulled out the ammount he need.

After the syringe is prepared, he gave it to the first one and prepared the sterilize alcohol and gave it again to the first. The first one wiped any germs around the intravenous and injected the drug. After the drug injected, he looked at his watch while hearing the heartbeat.

The heartbeat is getting slower and slower each second pass. When he thinks the heartbeat slow enough, he asked for one mil adrenalin and did the same procedure. After the heartbeat is stable, he told the other one pack things up and get the stretcher. The boy is taking into the ambulance by a stretcher. The mother is still crying about her son's misfortune. He followed her son into the ambulance. The first medical unit prepared the oxygen mask, the ECG reader and the IV.

It takes at least 45 minutes from the house to the nearest hospital. Three nurses are ready at the emergency door for their arrival. When the ambulance stopped at the front of emergency door, the nurses help the emergency unit to pull the stretcher after removing the ECG reader. The nurses and the unit brought the patient into the Emergency Room for further treatment. One of the nurses told the mother to remain outside of the room and do some registration.

The mother cries right in front of the door for a couple of minute and then she looked for a phone booth. She called for one person she knew for now. "Please Yolei, pick up the phone." She said sobbing.

Meanwhile in the Digital World, the Destinies are mourning the lost of their newest co-worker and friend. Even they still mourned for Al's death; they do their best to restore the village the viruses wreck. Hawkmon suddenly stop moving for a moment. Gatomon and Impmon saw him and approached him. "Is there something wrong, Hawkmon?" Gatomon asked.

"Yolei got a call from someone and she is away for a moment." Hawkmon answered remain still. Moments later, he ran towards the portal. Gatomon asked their sudden absent. "I've got a call from Sarah. She said that Al was taken to the hospital for passing out at the front of his computer." Yolei answered with Hawkmon's voice. The rest of the Destinies stopped on what they were doing and rushed toward the portal. They return to the city and logged out from the game.

Sarah waited at front of the emergency room for at least an hour still concern and mourned about Al. 'Why does it happens to him, why it has to be my son?' she said it in her thought. She heard lot of footsteps heading toward her. She slowly raised her head to see who is coming. She saw Kari, Yolei, Takato, and the rest of the Destinies she did not know ran towards her.

"Thank goodness you've come. I was so desperate that my son is unconcious." She began to cry again after telling her feeling to them.

"Tell us what happened?" Kari asked to Sarah.

"When I arrived at my house, I heard a loud scream from Al's room. I rushed to his room and knocked. Seconds later, there aren't any sounds except an alarm beeping at his weird device. I called and called but he didn't answer, so I look for a spare key and unlocked the door and there he was, laying unconcious with a weird headgear right in front of the computer that still on." Sarah told her the situation she had still crying.

Kari and the rest of the Destinies looked at each other, feeling uneasy to tell her the sad news they have. When Suzie wanted to tell Sarah, the operating light went off. Al was brought into one of the intensive care room. The Doctor who operates Al gave the result to Sarah. "When he came, he had an abnormal heartbeat. Right now, he is stable, but I brought more bad news to you. Your son is in comatose state for indefinite time." Sarah fell to her knees and start crying again.

The Destinies gave her their symphaties; especially they witnessed the death of Al in the Digital World. Kari, Suzie, Takato, and their partners felt the greatest grieve among the Destinies. "I think I should go back the other world continuing the repairs." Davis said without losing his coolness. Half of the Destinies nodded and followed him to a secluded area. Izzy opened his laptop and Davis opened the portal to the Digital World. Those who participate suddenly were suck into the monitor. After all of the participants were inside the computer, Izzy closed the laptop and return to Sarah and the other Destinies that stayed behind.

In the Digital World, the Destinies send out their partners and begun the repairs. While the repairing is in process, they saw piles of bones where Al died. "How is this thing happened?" Tai asked feeling sad about Al's death.

"He has sacrificed himself, Tai." Agumon replies while pushing a cart. "He knows the damage he will cause if he is still in SkullGreymon form."

"But what could start it?" Tai asked.

"Soul was killed trying to protect him while he wanted to protect us." Kodei responded. "Etemon used the Glitches power and want to test his strength on us."

"But he shot him in order to protect us." Ankylamon continued the story.

"But what scares us most is that he was willing to accept his death as if his life was nothing." Angemon responded.

"That was started it, he was in rage and lost control of his Glitches."

"I'm sure he had the reason why he did that." Takato explained. "If only I knew what."

"That is unlikely you, Takato." Growlmon teased him. "You are not a thinker type, so why did you think so hard?"

"I'm just concern about him, that's all." Takato respond with an annoyed looked at Growlmon.

"But still that won't change the fact that we lost him, and the world will be lost forever if the prophecy is ends here." Gennai answered while stirring the stew for late dinner.

The Destinies were surprise by his sudden appearance. "Jeez Gennai, could you please stop jumping out of a sudden?" Joe responded while holding his chest.

"I'm not jumping out; I'm cooking for your hard works." Gennai said it with a smile. Some of the Destinies are laughing with that joke. "So, who want some?"

"What a stupid ways to cheer us up, Gennai. But why not, its break times everyone." Matt answered. The Destinies and the villagers stopped working and starts lining up to get their dinner. They enjoy the chat among others while feasting their dinner. However, when they looked at the pile of bones, they felt guilty and remorse for loosing one of their friend.

"Man that really kill the mood." Kazu responded the scenery.

"We all feeling a little lost, Kazu." Andromon replies. "And according to the record, this was the first time ever a Destiny got killed in action."

"Lost a tamer with his or her partner?" Ken asked to Andromon.

"Yes." Andromon simply replied the question.

"I could understand how he feels to lose his partner; it feels like he has lost his reason to live. Thus, he became like these." Al reminded of Ken, himself, when he lost Wormmon because of his greed and lust for power of darkness.

"But I have a funny feeling, something was off." Guilmon responded while tilting his head trying to find the oddness of the scenery. "Wasn't he supposed to shatter into data, like a normal Digimon do? I mean, he is technically a human borrowing a Digimon's body which makes him a Digimon, right."

"I never thought that one coming." Henry replies what Guilmon said. "We never know what really happens when the PC got killed in the Digital World."

"All I know is that everything is real whether we are ourselves or in Digimon form." Jake continues.

"Which means, it is a high possible that we turned into Digimon when we enter the Digital World from the game." Henry concluded.

"If that is the case then why is Al's remaining isn't shattered yet?" Guilmon asked again.

"Good question, we need to investigate further." Gennai spoke freely representing the Destinies.

"Gennai, respect the dead." Terriermon growled. "But I guess that Henry will look into it."

Henry and Ken went closer to inspect the remainings. "Everything feels weird as if I touched a real fossilized bone." Ken replies while rubbing the bones.

"That was very common for me to hear. But what is uncommon is that, I sense life forces in these bones." Henry responded also rubbing the bones.

"Life forces?" Ken asked. "You mean there is more than one?"

"That was just a guess. Takato, Tai, Davis, Veemon, Guilmon, Gabumon. Could you please help me find the skull?" Henry asked for help. The one who been called stand up and walk toward Henry. The Digimon evolved into ExVeemon, Growlmon, and WereGarurumon.

They moved the heavy bones away in order to look for a skull, which they thought it was burried among the bones. Davis's D-Server clumsilly fell when he wanted to lift the bones with Ken. When the D-Server touches one of the bones, it flashed very bright and the bones slowly turn bright. "What did you do?" WereGarurumon growled in anger while shielding his eyes.

"I don't know. I accidently drop the D-Server." Davis replied also shielding his eyes.

ExVeemon smirked. "You never lose your clumsiness, Davis." Then he laughs when he heard 'shut up!' from Davis.

"Grr... Get back everyone, hurry!" WereGarurumon shouted and moved back slowly. He accidently stepped on one of the bones they moved and shattered. "Ho... Man!" He yelled by his clumsiness. "Everybody, watch your step!" It was too late because the shattered bones cause a chain reaction with other bones.

All of the bones were shattered into datas and slowly twisted forming a sandstorm. The sand within the sandstorm slowly gathered into a sphere that slowly grew larger.

The Destinies that were sitting with the villagers quickly stood up and ready for upcoming battle, thus they evolved into their strongest form. "What is happen, Gennai?" Matt asked shouting at Gennai.

"This is the first time experience, so I don't know." Gennai answered.

"That was bum." Rapidmon commented preparing his weapon and so does the Digimons.

The sphere grew almost the size as Guiness rubberband ball. The storm slowly died down and there stood a large sphere of data. The Destinies that help moving the bones quickly moved back to the rest. The sphere slowly shrunk at least half of the last size before and starts cracking. The Destinies and the Digimons are ready for the worst upcoming situation.

The sphere shattered, followed with a blinding flash. Within the flash, two figures appeared floating above the ground. After the flash disappeared, the Destinies and the Digimons saw what was behind the flash. The Destinies were surprised to see two Agumons floating at where the sphere was. The two Agumons were slowly descended to the ground and laying unconcious. WereGarurumon and Flamedramon walked closer to see the Agumons. Upon closer inspection, they saw that it was Agumon and BlackAgumon laying unconcious. The Agumon wear a familiar white armband like Al.

Flamedramon reached for the unconcious Agumon by instinct. "Hey, wake up." He shooked the Agumon, "Wake up, Al." The rest of the Destinies were surprised to hear that the unconcious Agumon is Al and dashed toward him. Flamedramon called him again. "Hey Al, wake up."

Al groaned feeling annoyed that his slumber disturbed by a call. "What's with the wake up call, and why are you in my room? Furthermore, it is still midnight." The Destinies recognize the voice and it was Al.

Gallantmon de-evolved back into Guilmon and tackle Al in joy along with Jake, Derek, and Zane. "Al, you are awake!" Guilmon shouted while wagging his tail like a dog. Guilmon slowly looked at Al when he heard a groaning pain. He saw that Al is holding his head and tears.

"Ow... Okay, who is the wise guy to wake me up?" Guilmon, Al, and the rest of the Destinies looked at the BlackAgumon also holding his head in pain.

"Sorry, Black. Guilmon tackled me and accidently hit your head." Al responded while holding his head. Al suddenly felt something weird and then looked at BlackAgumon. "Wait a minute. Black, you had a body!"

"I did...?" Black asked Al and then looked at his own body. "I did!" He yelled in surprised. "I am a real Digimon now." The Destinies were relief and happy that Al has awaken. Tai sent a message to Kari that Al is awaken.

On the real world, Kari is sitting at the lobby hospital along with Yolei, Rika, Izzy and Sarah, while Suzie, Juri, Mimi, and Sora went out to buy some instant dinner for all of them. She felt that her D-Terminal is vibrating. He opened the Terminal to see who is sending a message. It was none other than her borther Tai. Kari opened the message and surprised to see the content. "That is impossible!" she yelled.

"What happened?" Yolei, Izzy and Gatomon asked at the same time.

"Rika, could you look after Sarah for a while, please?" Kari asked in confusion and hurry. She quickly dragged Yolei and Izzy outside of the hospital.

"Okay, you better have an explanation on why you drag us out of the hospital." Yolei grunted by Kari's behavior.

"You are not going to believe this; my brother said that Al is awakened." Kari explained her reason of disbelief.

"Now that was a joke, right?" Hawkmon said in disbelief as well. "I mean we saw that Al is lying on the bed in the ICU room. There is no way that he woke up from coma."

"I agree with you, Hawkmon. The doctor stated that he is in coma for unknown time, so there is no way he wake up that soon." Izzy rubbed her chin thinking.

"Could it be that his concious was transferred when he was infected?" Tentomon asked.

"That is highly possible. We need to discuss this with Gennai." Izzy suggested.

"Way ahead of you." Yolei responded while typing a message to Gennai. A minute later, he received a message from Gennai. 'I am on the scene right now.' "That was uncalled for." Yolei commented after reading the message. She typed another message to tell the situation in the hospital and send it to Gennai.

Gennai received the report at the hospital. "This is impossible." He responded which attract others. "Did you guys know that he is in hospital?" Gennai asked.

"What do you mean I'm in the hospital? I'm perfectly health and sleeping if you guys recalled." Al asked in confusion.

"Yes but you are still in the Digital World." Guilmon replied.

"Wow, better logged out. I don't want to get in trouble with mom." Al quickly stood and headed toward the portal to the game.

"We know that Al is in the hospital because he passed out and coma, but now he is awake so no problem there, Gennai." Henry answered to Gennai question after Al left the Digital World.

"But the last part of the message really surprised me." Gennai showed his Terminal to everyone. "Yolei said that Al is in coma and didn't move an inch." Everyone surprised by this phenomenon. "I think we should keep an eye on him." The Destinies nodded and let the Digimons walked back to the Game while the rest teleported back to Gennai's mansion.

Al returned to the city immediately after entering to the Game. He looked at the beautiful night of the city that similar to exotic Disneyland. "It really is beautiful for a background program." Al looked at the surroundings and saw that the city is crowded. "I guess they were addicted to the game so they played throughout midnight. Not for me, I have done enough. it is time for me to logged off."

Al intended to reach the keyboard or control pad to open the menu, but he felt nothing. "I guess I dropped the pad when I was asleep." Al intended to remove the goggle so he could find the pad, but again he felt nothing except touching his own head. 'What the...' "Where is my goggle?" Al asked outloud. 'Wait a minute, if I didn't wear the goggle then how can I still be inside the game?' Al asked from his thoughts.

"Al, there you are." Agumon shouted from the portal.

Al looked at the rest of the Digimon partners. "What is wrong with me, why am I not wearing any goggle, why am I still in the game?" Al asked those three questions to them.

"Whoa, too many questions I got a headache." Agumon responded.

"You might not believe us, but please believe us that you fell unconcious during the mission and somehow got stuck in that body." Gabumon explained.

"What are you talking about?" Al asked again began to panic.

"Do you wear that goggle things or touching the control-something?" Guilmon asked.

"I am or at least I was." Al answered.

"Henry and the rest think that you got stuck in that form, at least your concious." Terriermon explained. Al looked at him in confusion.

"In short, you are officially a life Digimon like me." Black responded. Al's mouth hit the ground and silent in disbelief for a moment. "Al, we should..."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH......"
