Vael's life Storm

The third story is here at last, sorry it took so long but I have a life to live as well ^..^ This also is a adult story so be 18+ or enter at the risk of your very life (well, the rest of it anyway). This story was put together over several days so bear with me, I did a piece at a time.

It has been two years now since the day Vael was accepted by the magic user Phale. Over those years, Vael learned more important spells and their proper usage in the world he lived in, as well as how dangerous they are without safety. He played many games with his family, had mated with them to enforce their love, and spent these years with the knowledge of his inheritance, his true gender. He never did have a mate though, regardless of his gender, since Falgoh had shocked every female came upon out of their mating instincts and couldn't even bear offspring. The days went on to this very night.

Being older now, Drai has allowed Vael and Shellin to adventure out on their own for their own purposes. Tonight was rampaged by heavy rain and lightning, Shellin deciding to stay at home with her father rather than go outside and get soaked. Vael had the opposite in mind, he loved to be out in the rain, and it was much easier to get clean in it. He was wandering by the lake, famous for the little island that occupied the centre, about 50 feet from any bank. The rest of this valley was surrounded by forest and high mountains, the highest lay where the river meandered of to the ocean. The island contained only a single tree, oak probably, and a few rocks were scattered around its banks.

He hadn't changed much from the previous few years, bearing only the scar on his left forearm. He got it from playing tag with Shellin underwater, scratched himself on a nearby rock, rather silly reason to get a cut like that. He closed his eyes as he walked and smiled, the rain was cold but felt warm to him after being so long in it. He looked over the lake at the island with the tree, that lone tree with no other; the nearest trees were on the banks.

*I know how you feel*

It was hard for Vael to find a mate, partly because Falgoh tormented the females, partly because he was quite shy to them, but the main reason was revealing his gender to them. If Falgoh knew, Vael would be in great danger.

He padded over to the lake, seeing his distorted reflection in the disturbed surface. He did feel thirsty. He lowered his snout in and took a gulp of water; it was quite cool, then some of the water splashed up his nostrils. He reared back, spitting out the water from his maw and sneezed several times, his muzzle tickling from the sneezes. He laughed to himself, how foolish could he have been, and then decided to just lap the water up with his tongue. It wasn't too long so he could only get a few sips, but that was just enough to keep him going.

He went further along the bank, going around the vast lake, stopping to smell the flowers hiding in the undergrowth. He also tried to catch the fish in the lake with his forepaws, always missing on purpose to keep himself entertained. He liked the rain, but he liked company as well, he decided to set off back home.

He suddenly picked up on something when he was spreading his wings, some energy lingered in the air, and it made him feel sad. He looked to his right, along the back towards the gap in the high mountains, seeing nothing. He focused his vision along the bank, looking for any possible shapes, any others that might be out. He spotted a dark shape, sitting on the edge of the bank, whether it was Falgoh or not was to yet be known. He stood there, observing the form veiled by the rain, deciding if he should approach. He made his mind up, and began to pad forward.

As the form drew closer, he noticed it wasn't black in colour so it couldn't be Falgoh. He padded a little quicker in the knowledge of the shape not being Falgoh, the colour becoming visible through the rain. It was a yellow dragon, maybe even gold, with two horns on its head and plates on its legs. He became more curious, knowing that no dragons came out in the rain, or did they? He padded on until the two were merely feet away.

There, sitting by the lake, was a beautiful dragon of gold and yellow, apparently it didn't notice his presence. He knew it to be a she, dragons gave off a certain scent to tell who they were, which became more prominent in musk. Her blue eyes were filled with an unknown sadness, this confused Vael, he knew rain wasn't this depressive. He tried to speak to her.

"Excuse me, are you ok?" She replied with a hiss, not making any attempt to look at him. He decided to go closer, but stopped when she made a loud growling sound in her throat, a certain threat. He instead lay down on his belly and waited, knowing that she won't speak to just any dragon. Minutes went by, the two of them getting soaked all the while. Vael shifted a little, moving towards her in hopes of getting close enough to see how she was. She didn't notice him do this, or she did but didn't really care, too busy in her own thoughts.

"Are you alright?" He asked again, she looked away. Vael decided to get up and pad over to her side, settling himself down a foot from her side. From there he knew not what to do, he saw her shiver in the rain, realising she's been here for some time and was obviously cold. He placed a wing over her to keep her dry and warm, only to be pushed off by her own wings. She spiked his mind as well. He was worried, his company was in no way making her any happier, and if she stays any longer in this rain, she will surely get hypothermia and die. He attempted to nuzzle her instead, to show he has some care for her, despite her behaviour. She gave a growl but it was barely noticeable and more forced than usual. He now had her attention.

"Please?" He asked, in hopes of learning why she acts like she does.

"I...do not wish to speak." She said, her mindspeak revealing a beautiful essence from within. Indeed, she was physically and spiritually beautiful, but that does not explain why she was so down. He provoked her to speak.

"I know a female like you can speak so could you please say something?" She didn't take this well, she spun her head around and snapped at him, her teeth bearing through her open jaws. He backed away in time, staring at her fierce exterior which now covered her beauty, rather shocked at her reaction. She closed her jaw and went back to looking into the lake.

"Leave, NOW!" She spiked his mind again."

"No, I wish to help."

"If you want to help me, then leave me alone."

"But you will die out here..."

"So, it does not matter, my life was ruined by that monster."

"Who?"

"Falgoh." She began to weep when she said his name, the answer stuck Vael with the force of a high speed train. He knew now what was wrong; she had been in Falgoh's vicinity and was raped by him. He had to know if he succeeded.

"Please, tell me, did he?"

"No, I flew away before he could."

"He never caught you?"

"He did." She was weeping more than ever now. He glanced back at her hind legs, seeing the near invisible blood marks and cuts left by the dragon. He himself nearly wept, if Falgoh did this to her, what horrors did he commit on the other dragons. Her growls of sadness snapped him back to reality, he took instinctive action and lay beside her, covering her with his wing and keeping her close. She seemed to accept his comfort now, moving her head to his chest for warmth. He lowered his head next to hers while the rain trickled on down, the storm was coming to an end.

The clouds passed by, leaving the moon to cast its glow across the land, revealing the shades of two dragons. Vael looked up to the moonlight, drawing in its glow, obtaining the energy he needed to cast magic. His forehead once again emitted that brilliant light, the concentrated energy of magic radiated from his third eye. She noticed this and looked up, seeing the glow on his forehead.

"You're not...male?" She asked. She must have assumed that he was a male; he thought it was sensible since he used to think he was male too. He got up, giving her a smile as radiant as the light on his head, and plodded towards her hind legs. She was hesitant, moving her hinds away from him. He knew she was still in shock from before.

"Please, let me heal your wounds. I won't do anything against your will." He spoke; she took time to straighten her thoughts before nodding in approval. He moved his nuzzle over a cut on her leg, focusing on the magic, and breathed a blue mist over the cut. She hissed from the pain the mist caused, Vael understood that it was painful but its part of the healing process. He saw the cut heal up in no time, moving to the next and breathing the healing mist over it. She gritted her teeth to not hiss again, mindspeaking to him.

"Why...does it hurt?" She asked.

"It is a healing mist; it speeds up the healing process of the body." He searched his head for the reason why it's painful, as taught to him by Phale. "But...the accelerated healing causes the wound to burn..." He healed another cut with the mist, she twitched and hissed.

"You must be female because you use magic. But your mindspeak...is that of a male spirit." She said, Vael realising that she could stumble upon his secret if she thought about it. He healed another wound before speaking to her.

"Please, don't try to figure out who or what I am, just know me as Vael." He smiled at the aura of the dragoness before him. She smiled as well, bringing her spirits up.

"You can call me Shelkeree, young one." She grinned toothily, trying to annoy him now, puzzling him as to why she became so friendly. She shook it off before returning to healing her wounds. The cuts were all on her hind quarters so Falgoh must have failed to rape her, a rare occurrence that it was. He returned to her side, laying down now so they were resting against one another, she seemed to be happy now. She rested her head on his chest, while he looked up to the sky, giving the remaining energy to the surrounding forest and sky.

Some time passed before Vael spoke to her, feeling her shiver every once a while.

"Would you like to come back to my cave Shelkeree?" He asked her. She looked up, pondering the question. She looked around at the surrounding scenery as if looking for something, her eyes resting on the island in the lake. He too looked at it with a sort of interest, wondering what was so special about a lake. She looked back up to him, nodding.

"Yes, I would like to." They got up, treaded to knee deep in the water, and took flight into the sky. She didn't rise as quickly as Vael, which made him worry. Perhaps she was tired, or weak from the cold. He stayed close to ensure he could catch her if she fell, and they flew west towards his home. On the way, he mindspoke to her the method of entering his cave, it was after all an unusual place for a cave to be.

They arrived safely, greeted by Vael's one and only sister Shellin, who seemed to be sitting not far from the entrance as if in wait for him.

"Ah-ha! I caught you." She mindspoke to Vael, winding him up instantly. "You've been out with females have you not?"

"Shellin, this is not the time, and especially not the place." He replied.

"So, you have a sister." Shelkeree said, butting in. Both Vael and his sister looked at her, Shellin baring a beaming smile. "You look quite cute, if not somewhat noisy." Shellin laughed in her throat.

"Shellin. This is Shelkeree; she was a victim of Falgoh." He didn't like to say victim but there were no other words to use at that time. Shellin had her jaw partly open in shock, glancing between Vael and Shelkeree.

"So, you weren't...mating?" She said the last part weakly, knowing full well that wasn't the case. Both of them shook their heads. Understanding, Shellin looked to the floor, turned rather sulky now. It only took a second for her to perk up again, her face beaming again. Vael could see this confused Shelkeree. Draitagan came out of his hollow to see what the fuss was about, seeing the new dragon within the cave.

"Vael!" He spoke, making Vael's head turn in his direction. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?" He was smiling while looking at them both; he must have a similar idea to Shellin.

"Father, this is Shelkeree. I saw her at the lake."

"It's nice to meet you, what is your name?" Shelkeree asked, wondering like any dragon would.

"You can call me Drai, young one." His voice now responded to her as if she was his child. "Welcome to our home, by the way, why are you here?"

"Er...Drai, maybe you don't need to..."

"I was attacked by Falgoh." She burst out before Vael could finish, everyone went silent, Drai stood as rigid as stone. Shellin was drawing a circle in the dirt on the cave floor.

"Well. I am very sorry to you Shelkeree." He said, the tone of his mindspeak was a little shaky now. It was one thing to have an unexpected visitor, but another to have one who was raped by Falgoh, your own son.

"It does not matter Drai, I managed to get away." This thought put Drai at ease, slacking his form a little in relief. It was very rare for a dragon to fight back against Falgoh, let alone escape.

"That was good. There I thought I would be helping to birth unwanted young, as an apology I wish for you to stay here tonight. He might be looking for you now so you're safe with us.

"Thank you Drai, and not to worry about my safety, I'm not as helpless as I may seem." She said with pride, Vael smiled, attracting her attention. "How else could I escape? You males are all the same, Falgoh being an exception."

"You're wrong on the male part Shelkeree." Shellin blurted out, Drai started in place. "Vael is actually a Herma..." Was all she said before Drai shut her jaws with his paw, silencing her. Shelkeree was stuck to the spot, she knew what Shellin had said before she finished. She then looked at Vael, moving her muzzle close to his scales and sniffed. She reared her back quickly, catching his faint musk, apparently left over from a couple of days ago.

"Strong" She mindspoke. "No male has musk that strong, you are a hermaphrodite." Drai was getting worried now, if she found out she might tell others outside the valley, and Falgoh would eventually know. However, the worry in everyone's eyes turned to confusion as she started a smile, which turned to a grin, and then her jaws parted and was now laughing in front of all of them.

"Wow, I thought Phale was the only herm in the valley but you really are one as well! I should have guessed from your colours, your emotions for others, even from your use of magic. But in the end, your own sister gave away your secret, the embarrassment it must cause to you!" She was in a laughing fit, barely able to stand on her legs now, collapsing to the floor. Shellin was shocked to see someone with a greater humour than her, Drai tried to stop himself from tackling Shelkeree, Vael just gazed at the dragon in a spasm of laughter on the floor.

"But..." She settled down, got up, and turning her head to look at Vael in the eyes. She walked over and gave him a lick on the end of his snout, mindspeaking in a gentle and compassionate tone. "I am glad you are one. Your kindness was great today, to give up your energy like that for me, so I will want your company for the night." Shellin grinned a sly grin at this, Vael gave Shellin a nasty stare before turning back to yellow dragon.

"I would...like that. Thank you." He said. His body seemed to have a similar emotion towards Shelkeree, similar to that of his love towards his family. Is it possible that he loves her? He didn't mind, it was nice to love, and hopefully be loved back.

"I think it's time for bed, goodnight you two." Drai said, smiling before departing with Shellin in tow. Shellin looked back at Vael, giving a lick around her maw with a question.

"Friends or mates?" Vael only hissed at her, then smiled.

"You will know." Shellin departed to bed.

The rain had long stopped, an hour has gone by, and Vael was resting beside Shelkeree, unable to sleep. Although he felt tired, he was worried that she would be taken away by Falgoh the moment he did fall asleep. He turned on his side, gazing into the darkness with his mate behind him, wondering if they could ever find peace.

"You worry too much Vael." Said a voice in his head. Shelkeree had lifted her head over his neck to look at him, showing concern and happiness. He looked back at her, staring deep into her eyes, he saw something else deep inside her. Love. She moved her paw over his body and used it to bring him into a kiss, drawing him deep into it. He purred the same way she did, his feminine side showing through, brought up his own paw to draw her deeper into the kiss. She smiled as they kissed; she never knew that Vael was so good at kissing!

Vael was feeling something else though; he felt he was becoming aroused, this he knew to be a problem. He couldn't control himself though; the kiss seemed to make him warm and limp, provoking this reaction to occur. He tried to keep his slit shut but couldn't fight it long before his member peaked out from it. He just lost himself in the kiss in hopes she would be too occupied to notice, which will give it time to slip back in. She, however, noticed it not through her eyes, but through her third eye. She could see how much he was enjoying this, and went forth to teach him a little tip.

Vael was snapped back to reality as his member was caught by something, Shelkeree's tail was coiled around it! He gave a hiss of pleasure before asking what she was doing.

"Shelkeree, what are doing to me?"

"Nothing Vael." She gave a sly smile, breaking their kiss, moving her tail around the encased penis. He could not hold in the moans of pleasure, it just wasn't possible; her tail seemed to have been lubricated beforehand. He then realised that she had planned this out, fear grew inside him. Was she going to rape him here?

"No Vael, do you think that a victim of rape is going to rape someone?" She shook her head side to side, stopped moving her tail and uncoiled it from his member, which flopped onto his belly. He breathed a bit at his release from it, looked back up to see her moving further down, a familiar blue light on her forehead. She channelled the energy into her left paw, creating strands of pink-red mist that slowly drifted around. She placed her paw on his member, covering it in this mist, Vael felt his member cool instantly and slip back into his slit. He looked amazed; she just looked proudly at him.

"And you did that how?" He asked.

"Magic silly. You know of healing magic and such, but I know of magic which can change reactions and emotions within the body and soul. I'm quite a few levels above you right now Vael." She lay back down next to him, resting her head by his.

"Will you ever teach me how to do that then?"

"I don't need to Vael, Phale is your teacher."

"Oh."

"By the way..."

"Yes?"

"I only planned this to see what your member looked like."

"Huh? Why?"

"I'm rather curious to see if males and herms differ in many aspects. So, you helped me in a sense."

"Helped you? More like I was at your mercy."

"Hehe, sorry about that, I wasn't sure if you were a struggler. My brother was like that, his legs were all over the place during mating, just can't keep still."

"And you thought I was?"

"You never know."

"You never do." They both smiled as they went to sleep for the night, the black veil once again returned to them. The difference now, they were both in it, sharing those dreams rather than standing alone.

Hahahaha, no mating this time folks. Only gave it the rating because of the arousal near the end and the word rape being used. It's a nice change from the normal ^..^ Post comments and vote for it, tell me if I should continue or it should just end here.
