#19 of The Legend of Rift Book II: Resurrection

Sithris smiled as he watched the blue dragoness explore the area in front of him, her happy chirps at the beautiful scenery. Each rock she would leap to with a grace the black dragon had never seen. He couldn't help but squirm as she would constantly lift her tail and wiggle her hips at him.

Zaheera squealed when they came upon the drake's home. The hill it resided in a lush green with tall grass flowing with the wind. She was in awe.

"It's absolutely stunning hun."

The black dragon concealed a blush. "It's always a pleasure to return to my abode."

Zaheera playfully nudged him and he opened the door. Blue glowy cogs surrounded her vision, the tinkerer's fascination obvious. Sithris blushed as the dragoness pointed at the cogs and giggled.

"I um... like shiny blue things..."

The blue dragoness smiled and kissed the drake, pulling him inside.

Keltin paced impatiently, dark flames spreading under his feet. So far, he had two lieutenants fall to the orange and black dragons. He slashed at the wall in irritation, and turned to a figure behind him.

"Well? Surely Nerscene couldn't have gone out without a fight!"

The figure nodded, stepping forward. A white drake with a black underbelly bowed. "You are correct sir. According to the informant, Rift was blinded for a time, but recovered."

Keltin laughed maniacally. "That fucking pest will fall slowly and painfully. You see Arcane, I have a long history with him. That... thing... can't be broken with just physicality. He requires loss and mental torture. Hell, I took away his village and mate and he's still trying to fight. The only thing he has to lose is his hope, and that Sithris friend of his."

Arcane nodded slowly. "Yes sir... If I may, should our informant fail, I request that I battle this Sithris. His skills in wizardry may rival mine.'

The burgundy dragon pondered. "Though I doubt she will, you may face Sithris should your mother fail to turn him. Now, dismissed!"

As Arcane walked off, Keltin looked into his personal Pool of Visions, an image of a blue dragoness appearing. "Zaheera, status report."

Zaheera jumped at hearing Keltin. She relaxed and padded outside, away from Sithris' ears. "Hey Keltini, honey. We've been at his place for a couple days, and I'm close to our goal. I'm sure at this point, that he's smitten enough for me to control his Warped form, but I still need to seduce him to completely make him our puppet. With him in control, the orange pest will be easy to destroy."

Keltin laughed before pondering. "The bastard better be worth it if my bitch is to lay with him."

The blue dragoness sighed, shaking her head. "As much as you like to think that you're mighty and powerful, you're a self obsessed moron with no care for strategy. You may be the brawn, but without my plans, you're dead in the water. This conversation is over, I'll bring Sithris back when he shows me how a REAL dragon can mate."

"PLEASE STOP!"

Sithris looked around in confusion. Everything was black. The yell faded into silence. The black drake shook himself more, finding himself in the forest.

He padded around, finding the entrance to his home. A loud crash jumped him, the dragon rushing inside to investigate. He stood in horror.

Rift lay helpless in a heap of scales, blood pouring out of his many cuts and maw. He wheezed and struggled to raise his head. With a large cough of blood, he looked at Sithris. "Please, no more Sithy..."

What is he talking about? I'm not... why is my paw moving?

Sithris gasped to himself, realizing he had runes covering his body. He was in his Warped form, his normal mind not in control. He slowly walked to Rift, sizing his prey.

Rift screamed as Sithris grabbed the tip of his tail, dragging a claw through scale and bone, cutting away the tail spade. With a pull, the spade was forcibly removed. The pain was intense, knocking out the orange dragon.

NO! THAT'S NOT ME! STOP HURTING HIM!

His body wouldn't listen to him, his corrupted self completely in charge. He laughed and jabbed his tail into Rift's chest wound, injecting enough electricity to awaken the bloodied dragon. Warped Sithris gleamed evilly, gripping the limp orange and silver wings.

Sithris wanted to close his eyes, to block out what he knew was coming, but he was a hostage in his own body. He was forced to watch as he slowly cut out the silver membrane of his friend's wing. Rift's screams like knives in his heart. After the the first wing, the second received the same treatment.

Sithris grabbed Rift's head, repeatedly slamming it into the ground. The real Sithris begged it to end. Thankfully, it did, but not in the way he had hoped. One final slam shattered the once shining horns.

Rift was flung across the room, barely breathing. The Warped dragon spoke softly, slowly walking toward the orange dragon.

"I've about had all my fun. Now, let's have one final experiment. How hard is that head of yours?"

Inside, Sithris screamed in tears, begging his body to stop. But it was no use. He placed a paw on the orange dragon's head and began putting his weight on it. Rift released a horrific screech.

After several minutes, Rift's skull caved in.

Sithris screamed and jumped out of bed, panting. He noticed that Zaheera was staring at him. He turned away and curled up on the floor.

Zaheera sighed and padded over, forcing a kiss on the distraught drake. Relaxing him, she moved him onto his back. The dragoness crawled on him and wiggled her hips.

"Honey, I think you could use some cheering up. Would you like to finally mate with me?"

Sithris felt like something was off, but he could feel a stirring in his loins. He could smell her scent driving him crazy with lust. His mind told him no, but his body wouldn't be denied.

"I would love to."
