"Hey, sorry for taking so long to talk again. Been really busy moving into a new place with Alex. Got the address included in the message, so come on by and pay us a visit when you get the chance. I promise you'll like the place!"

She arched her eyebrows. Peter had never mentioned wanting to move, and neither had Alex, but the address was Peter's.

"Wonder where he even got the money for it?" She thought aloud - he didn't look like the type of guy who'd have money to afford to move houses in such a short timeframe. On the plus side, hearing from him brought her some relief, but she couldn't help but feel a little skeptical. "Eh, guess it couldn't hurt to check the place out!" She leapt back off the sofa, gathering her stuff before heading out once again.

She stopped not long after emerging out of her front door and locking it, a massive avian staring at her, almost expectantly. Corviknights were rare where they lived, and she had the biggest impression that it was specifically there for her.

As she climbed on its back, it took off with surprising silence, shedding no further light on where her friends had gone, or why they hadn't come personally.

"I wonder if he's caught any other new Pokémon whilst he's been away... or if Alex has too, for that matter..." She pondered silently, holding on tight to the large avian creature, taking in the scenery as the Corviknight soared through the sky.

It took her out over the forest at the edge of town. She knew Peter took walks there often enough, so when it flew towards a large, gothic-looking manor house, Petra wasn't sure what to think. There was no way the two of them could've afforded a place like that. Assuming anyone knew about it - she hadn't known it was even there.

"There's no damn way..." She could only mutter in shock at the sight of the impressive looking structure. Peter had never seemed like the type of person who'd want to live in such an isolated area, even if he did have some company with him.

There were a few lights on, but she couldn't really see anyone. All the same, Petra couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched from somewhere. The mansion had numerous statues of Pokémon around, and there was an odd smell in the air.

"Peter? You around?" She called out for her friend, stopping to take a look at one of the statues, depicting a fierce-looking Honchkrow. "Give me a sign if you can hear me!"

At this, the door nearby swung open and a light switched on above it. She didn't see or hear anything else, but the timing was far too coincidental. As she made her way towards it, she caught a glimpse of a Hydreigon's head in one of the windows, but only briefly.

"All this secrecy..."

She stepped into what appeared to be the main living room. A TV could be seen mounted to one of the walls, with varying forms of consoles, games, movies and magazines scattered around. At least this seemed more in line with the Peter she knew, with his love of gadgets.

She also spotted some of Alex's stuff in the next room over, so he was there too, but she'd seen neither hide nor hair of either. But then she heard footsteps approaching - though her attention was soon captured by a beastial roar from somewhere upstairs. So much so that she missed the figure looming above her until he was standing right next to her.

The Hydreigon smiled at the thought of both of them. He'd spent quite a lot of time catching up with Savato once his transformation had concluded. The bird had quite the appetite for him, as it turned out. But they'd all concluded that Petra deserved to be a part of the house as well.

Medrem's heads looked concerned, though Petra's sheer proximity to his aura was already starting to impact her views on both the idea of changing, and of her current state as a human. It was a small, subtle change.

"Well... you did ask me to come pay the two of you a visit... that's already more than most people I've known in the past who've just disappeared without any real reason..." She said, remembering back to previous experiences, frowning.

"We're sorry for not getting in touch sooner. Getting set up here without being noticed wasn't easy." "But we'll never ditch you. I may look different, but we're still friends." "Nothing will change that. In fact, you could even move in. Plenty of room." A new name for the Shadow Obstagoon would come in time, but until then, they had some catching up to do.
