Chapter Twelve

The locker room was silent as usual in the morning hours, only the faint sounds of the students entering the high school heard from behind the entry doors. A lion and husky were settled on the bench in front of Kaipo's locker, with Valentine sitting on the bench opposite them. His backpack sat next to him, it' zipper undone as Val held out an object in his paws. It resembled a diamond, save for it's edges being rounded off, holding an onyx color along its soft, somewhat rubbery surface. One end rounded into a dull tip, while the other was attached to a circular base.

"What is it?" Kaipo spoke softly, poking the object inquisitively with a fingertip before meeting Val's gaze.

"It's called a ?butt plug'. It'll help you get a bit more accommodating back there."

The name gave a surprised look to both the husky and lion, Kaipo's expression replaced quickly by embarrassment "How...um...does it work?"

"Well, using a bit of lube," Valentine's free paw sought out a tube from his bag, setting it onto his thigh "You pour it over it, getting it nice and slick, and then...well...put it in your butt."

"In...my...butt?" Kaipo's cheeks grew a brighter crimson "How's...that gonna help me?"

"Well...it stretches you out a little...and the base keeps it in you, so you can wear it under your clothes."

"You mean...I...am supposed to wear this all the time?" Plucking the object from Val's paw, drawing it closer to his muzzle to peer along it.

"Not all the time...I suppose you could wear it just when you sleep. Though, the more you use it, the faster you'll be ready."

Kaipo nodded a few absent times, glancing down to the tube sitting on the badger's thigh "Well...might as well get a start on it then..." Reaching out a paw, he plucked up the lube and padded off further into the locker room, disappearing off around a corner, leaving the husky and badger watching nothing, their ears flicking lightly as they listened.

"Its kinda...ooooh...k-kinda cold..." A soft moan filtered to the pair, getting a little smirk on both their muzzles "O-okay...it's in..."

"Did you go all the way to the base? It won't stay if you don't!" Val called out, a paw cupping to his muzzle to carry his voice further.

"Y-yeah..." Kaipo mumbled softly, the feline padding bit, just a bit awkwardly around the corner, his tail lifted up behind him "This is gonna take some getting used to..."

Students hustled through the hallways in the morning of the high school, their conversations carrying down the passages they moved along on their way to classes. Among the groups, four furs loitered around their lockers, a feline, a lion, a husky and a badger. Kaipo and Robert held each other's paws firmly, the smaller lion cuddled softly into the buff husky as the foursome broke into laughter with a comment from Val.

"So are you guys planning to go to the dance next week?"

Justin gave a little headshake "I don't think I'll go. I don't have a date anyways, so it's not like I'll be missing anything."

"Oh come on Justin, you should come!" Kaipo spoke up; lifting a smile up to Robert a moment before his gaze leveled back to the feline "I mean, at least just to hang out with friends. Me n' Robert are gonna go, after I finish up my track meet before it."

"You've got a meet that day?" Robert blinked a few times "But I thought you were going to come and watch my wrestling match before the dance!"

Kaipo's head leaned back, meeting the husky's look "You have a match too? Well..." Kaipo's head dropped down, mumbling, "Fuck. Fuck fuck fuck." Robert's moved his paws, wrapping Kaipo in the husky's firm embrace along with the lion's own arms, gently hugging him "It's okay Kai. My match'll probably be last again. So after your events are done, you can run over to the gym and watch." Nuzzling his wet nose along the lion's short locks, he snuffled softly behind one of Kaipo's ears, getting the lion to giggle softly, releasing one of the paws to bat lightly at the canine's muzzle "Alright, alright. I'm sure that'll work." Looking up to Justin, his paw reached out, poking the feline's shoulder "So? Come on Justin, it'll be fun!"

Justin sighed softly, shaking his head "Fine, I'll be there. But there better be people I can talk to while I sit and watch!" He poked Kaipo's chest in return, each fur chuckling softly "How about you Val? You coming?"

"Of course I'll be there." The badger smirked, closing his locker while pulling both straps of his backpack over a shoulder, stopping a moment as he caught sight of a fur, waving dismissively at the others "You guys head to class, I'll catch up with you in a minute."

T.K. shuffled through the contents of his locker, leaning his head slightly in to search for his class' book. The canine paused with a tap of his shoulder drawing his head back and finding a badger standing behind him with his glance "Oh, hey, mornin' Val. What's up?" Pulling his book out, he slid it into his backpack and zipped it up, slinging it over his shoulder as Val spoke "T.K., I think we have somethin' to discuss."

"Oh?" The topic caught the Dalmatian off guard, and it showed on his face "Is this about the dance? I'd love to go with you, if you wanna."

"Well, kinda. But not really." Drawing in a deep breath, Val continued, "I think we should break up."

T.K. blinked a few times, his surprise growing into shock "W-what?" Val's paw rested on his shoulder, holding onto his gaze "You know I care about you Tim. I know you care about me. But," He glanced off down the hallway "I know you care about somebody else more." His eyes turned back to the still surprised Dalmatian "I know you love Kaipo. And I know that means I'm always gonna be second to him. So, I think it might just be best for us to be friends, rather than boyfriends."

A soft sigh fell from T.K.'s muzzle, dropping his head down to find the floor with his gaze "I...I do love him...but I know he's got Robert and all...but...if...if this is how you feel," His gaze lifted up, a few tears lingering in his gray eyes "Then alright." His arms caught around Val's waist, drawing the badger against him as they kissed firmly, the touch enduring a few long moments before T.K. broke it with a murmur "I do care about you Val."

"I know Tim, I know." Another soft touch lasted between the pair as Valentine lifted a paw, brushing away T.K.'s tears "I know you're gonna be a good friend too."

T.K. released his grasp on Val's waist, reaching up his paw to close his locker. As he moved to step past the badger, a paw caught his shoulder, and he lifted his gaze back to Val's face "Somethin' else?"

"Yeah. I'd be glad to go to the dance with you."

"Lilly! Can't you take this off yet, it's all itchy and it keeps bothering me!"

Ami tugged lightly at the tie-dyed pink button up shirt hanging on her form, it's button trailing down just past her waist, over the pair of violet denim shorts that hugged her curves, their cuffs reaching just to the tops of her thighs. Her silky pink locks were bound back into a bun at the base of her head, her ears dangling down behind her. Her usual assortment of golden piercings and rings were on today, along with a pair of tan sandals on her hind paws.

Lillian stood beside her; the shapely panda wear an equally short pair of pink denim jeans with a matching pair of sandals. A cyan spaghetti-strap tank top tucked into her shorts, concealing her ample chest, but slightly lessening the need for an imagination. Her rainbow of locks were tied back into a bun, done the same as Ami's.

"What itches, Ami?" Hina spoke up, the slightly larger skunk attired with a black skirt and glimmering white belt around her waist, with a stripe of white down the back of the skirt. A black tube top fit snugly onto her shapely form, a white stripe matching the one in her fur set along the back of the top. Her piercings and ring on her left pinky toe were there as usual, along with a pair of black sandals. Her dreadlocks were pulled back into a modified ponytail, her glasses settled back on small muzzle while her toe and fingernails were coated with purple polish.

Closing her locker, the skunkette cradled her books to her chest, tilting her head slightly as her expression grew more curious "Well, what itches?"

Ami grew quiet, the pink fur of her face growing a bit more crimson as she looked away "Just the shirt...I mean, the outfit is new and kinda itchy." The bunny mumbled, the reaction gaining a bigger smirk from Lilly while Hina shrugged "Alright. You two gonna come over for homework tonight?"

"Yeah, we'll be there. Probably an hour or so after sixth period." Lilly spoke up, adjusting her tiny backpack over her shoulders as she looked back to the pink rabbit "You can changed after school Ami," before she took a step closer and leaned in, whispering "If you behave."

"Lil-lyyyyyyyyyyy!" Ami dragged out the panda's name in a little pout, the sound getting a questioning look in return, leaving the bunny to nod reluctantly "Oh fine."

Hina giggled softly, shaking her head "You two really are something else. You planning to go to the dance next week?" Lilly glanced to the skunk, blinking twice before looking back to Ami "Dance?"

Giggling softly, the pink rabbit hefted her books, cradling them to her side and shutting her lock "The Spring Dance is next week. The biggest dance of the semester, besides Prom. Can we go Lilly, pleeeeease?" Stepping beside the panda, Ami snuggled up to her side, going for the most pathetic begging expression she could muster. It got a giggle from Lilly, wrapping an arm around Ami's shoulders "If it means that much to my little bunny princess, we will." The pink rabbit's cheeks flushed a deeper red color once more at that name, hiding her cheek against Lilly's shoulder "How about you Hina? You going to the dance?"

"Of course I am." Nodding the skunk shifted her books in her arms "Of course, I need to figure out who I'm going with, but still..." Hina winked, sending the trio into giggles as they started off down the hallway.

Practice was winding down, as a few more furs ran along the track. The breeze drifted along through the field, bringing it's own unique scent along with it to the furs gathered, watching the last few runs for the afternoon. Among the furs seated out in the bleachers, Kaipo was resting in the middle, his white tank top and navy blue shorts a bit damp from perspiration. T.K. was settled next to him, as usual, the Dalmatian finding it harder to watch the remaining races than the lion beside him. A violet-furred vixen sat on his other side; Gen's navy blue shorts on while the navy blue warm up jacket covered above that.

"You and Val broke up?" Kaipo turned to the Dalmatian beside him, a rather disbelieving look on his face "Why?"

"He said he thought it'd be better if we were just friends. We are good friends, after all." T.K. gave a slightly forced dismissive shrug "Me and him are still going to the dance together though..." He trailed off a few moments, looking out to the track "Are you going?" He turned his head back towards the lion "To the dance, I mean."

"Yeah, me and Robbie are going." Kaipo nodded a few times "I think everybody I know is going," His head turned, looking to the vixen on his other side "Except you."

"Damn right." Gen mumbled softly, the vixen crossing her arms "What would I wanna go to some stupid dance for anyways? To dress up and look silly and try and dance with some guy while they try to feel you up?"

"Gee, you make it sound so fun, Gen." T.K. rolled his eyes, turning his attention back out to the track as Kaipo nodded and looked out to the races as well "Whatever ya say, Gen."
