Chapter One: Bad news
It's been almost six months sence Athena last saw Markus. She could not whight to see her human friend once more. Ever sence the human commander, commander Kelly told her in person that he and another platoon would be returning from a recon mission in 72 hours she has been dying to see him. Some of the other dragons make fun of her for wanting to spent so much time with a human rather than her own kind. But she's gotten used to it, a little.
It was in the middle of the night when she woke up. Thinking about seeing Markus omost nonstop made her ressless a lot. She desided to check an see if her parents were back from there meating. She sild off her bed and out her door. I'm very lucky to have a friend like Markus. She said to herself smiling.
