#3 of From Lonely to Lovestruck

Hey guys. So I've been really stumped on where to go with this chapter, and it turned into an extended writer's block. and unfortunately, my busy schedule doesn's help with it. But I awoke from my sleep this morning in a writing craze, and this is what I put together. I know my previous update was like 2 months ago (maybe just 1, irdk) and I have been taking a leave of absence from here, but I am not going to end this story. I really love this story and I plan to continue this to the end. And as for my upload schedule, I will try to pump these out more consistently, a chapter every week or two weeks. but if it doesn't get uploaded, that is because of other life things occurring. Thank you to all who are still following my story and haven't lost hope in me, and welcome to all new readers<3 <3. Now without further ado, ENJOY!!!!<3 <3

As I walked into the house, the sheer size of the giant building amazed me. The main entrance had two huge hallways branched off to both sides of the house. Directly in front of me was a big staircase that was about three times as big as a normal staircase. The stairs split off when it hit the back wall of the mansion and flowed up and around the walls, meeting only at the third floor above the doorway. The walls were a velvety blue and had intricate designs that swirled and flowed around each other, colored a mix of a bright forest green and lavender. There was a chandelier that hung high up in the ceiling with sprinkled glass orbs on it giving it a very regal vibe. The floors sea green colored marble tiles were cool to the touch, but somewhat chilling due to the autumn air.

I got lost in thought and walked forward subconsciously, causing me to bump into Jaylin. His big Lynx chest and arms sought me as I tripped into his embrace.

"woah there little puppy," he said catching me. His fur was slightly damp as if he showered but he couldn't have, because he smelled musky. The manly scent what I thought was sweat had me hypnotized that I was starting to stir down below. I almost lost it when one of the 2 doors on the sides of the staircase flew open with a bellow.

I jumped nearly 3 feet back and high into the air like a cat, earning a chuckle from the bigger cat. There were a bunch of furs coming through the door, a couple wolves, a few horses, some bulls, and others. All of which were drenched in sweat.

"Hey Jay," said one of the wolves pausing to look at me, "Who's this joker?" he asked with a raised eyebrow, tucking the basketball into his underarm.

"This is Travis, he's going to help me with the art project," he said patting my back.

"heh, well you have fun," he said high-fiving Jaylin and walking out a couple gave me a pat on my head, one of the horses messed up my hair and playfully told Jaylin, "don't break him, he seems sweet," and left.

"Break me?" I asked Jaylin as I fixed my now hair.

"He's just kidding, that was the basketball team and we were shooting a few hoops," he said with a tint of red showing on his light gray face fur, "Well why don't you make your way to the living room and I'll be back from a nice shower." He led me to the living room along to the right of the entrance way. He sat me down and turned the tv on. He walked away to take a shower leaving me in the giant living room.

I was lost in thought as I stared around me. The living room was also a big room. The couch sectional was in the center as it faced a tv to the wall. The whole room had the same wall color and design as the entrance. To the right of the room was a door to which led to a garden. I turned off the tv Jaylin had turned on for me and walked over to the garden. The glass sliding door stood in my way from being in the open aired garden. The lush garden had beautiful growing lilies and vibrant irises. Anthuriums shaped as hearts and white snapdragons peppered garden. My favorite were probably the bell shaped foxgloves.

I chuckled to myself at the name, slid the door open and walked out to gaze at the flowers. Despite the vibrant colors, the flowers felt as if they were relaxing me. I bent down to sniff some and the sweet pleasant aroma tickled my nose. I ran my hand through the bundles of buds and clusters of flowers. I wanted to just stay out there and enjoy the wondrous flowers that made up his flower bed, but when I was about to get lost in my own world, the door slid open once again.

"hey," Jaylin said, he was wearing a new navy blue t-shirt that had aqua blue designs as if someone had taken a paint brush and smeared it all around his shirt. He wore silky purple basketball shorts and, I never noticed, but he had a one white spot on his right side fur.

"how do you like our garden?" he asked as I stared into his vibrant green eyes.

"it's beautiful," I replied turning around to hide my imminent blush, "I'm still amazed that you live in a mansion."

"Yeah, my parents are on a business trip to New York for the next year few months, and the staff keeps it clean, but I still do my part to keep things in order."

"Its all as if something from a fairy tale," I said turning leaning into the buds to sniff the sweet aroma.

"how about we go inside, it's getting kinda chilly out here." He led me into the living room, into the entrance, and up the flight of stairs to the second floor. There, there was a hallway that led down with multiple doors connecting to separate conjoining rooms.

We walked to the end of the hallway that opened up to yet another living room, though this one was slightly smaller, had the usual tv, couch, coffee table and another table behind the couch, probably to enjoy some food whilst you watch tv.

"So," he said as he walked me to the couch, "what are we doing our introduction project on?" he plopped on the couch and invited me to sit next to him with a pat on the cushion of the couch.

"well we could make a collage of our life, or some paper mâché models of where we are from," I said to him and then paused. He was staring at me with his beautiful bright green eyes as hypnotizing as ever.

"hey? Travis?" he asked confused at my sudden unresponsiveness. He leaned forward slightly closing the gap between us. I snapped back into reality and fell onto my back, instinctively grabbing him and dragging him down to the floor. We sprawled around and rolled over each other.

There was a loud thump and the world blacked out.
