Teryx takes on a top-secret job at night. One that requires an entirely new identity from him...along with a new uniform, habits, thinking, lack of free will, and a complete and utter deference to his kobold boss. (8.7k words)

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Teryx blinked a few times in rapid succession, groaning loudly as the familiar buzz and boops of his phone went off in a valiant, and today successful, attempt to rouse him from the deep slumber. It rang out like an off-key song from a siren looking toward the shore, pounding into his head forcefully until he finally managed to locate the infernal device and vigorously smash the snooze button. The dead quiet of the room was all that remained, the occasional sound of tire tumbling over asphalt occasionally rolling up from outside, but little else.

The rain dragon blinked a few times, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes vigorously, considering turning back over for a few more minutes under the.. Warm... Huh! His covers weren't even warm in the slightest, bed still pretty neat, and definitely no light cascading in through the window. Finally he grabbed the phone again and took a more detailed look, eyes flitting to the time - 10:15?! Why on earth had he set an alarm for this time? He'd barely been asleep for 10 minutes! There must've been some sort of mistake. He tried flopping back down and shutting his eyes, but the damage was already done, wide awake from the shrill sound. Mumbling underneath his breath he shook the blankets off, the rain dragon decided that a quick walk was in order. Maybe some crisp evening air would do a little good.

After a few more moments of shaking off the drowsiness he made it over to his closet, opening it up and eyes casting to the right side past his work clothes to find something more leisurely. Instead the dragon widened his eyes a bit, quirking his head as he retrieved one of the shirts and looked it over. He didn't remember buying this, and had no clue why he would - a black compression shirt with "23" emblazoned on the front and "SECURITY" on the back, both in a bright crimson-ish sort of color. It was hung up next to a few similar pieces of attire and what looked like a matching pair of black pants, all quite a bit tight taking into account his frame. But where had it even come from? Some sort of long-forgotten theme night from one of the dumb parties he got dragged to?

Teryx shook his head, mumbling. Well, who cares, he was still too tired to fuss over fashion. Maybe thinking he was on the job would get any passerby to leave him alone! He promptly ducked to the bathroom real quick and then began to fit the shirt on in front of the mirror, sliding on snugly and practically grabbing at his musculature. He happened to catch a glimpse of himself in it, 23 splayed out across one of his pecs, everything looking all the more defined... There was a surprising amount of merit to this, how it made his arms pop out, and the dragon even found himself indulging with a quick flex to stretch it. He'd been growing a little bit lately, making more time at the gym, because... because... Why had he done that, again?

Before he finished that train of thought he had finished putting the pants on, similarly scaletight and leaving little about his form to the imagination. Hell, he could barely keep his eyes off himself! And who could blame him - he was looking damn good lately, and this only seemed to enhance things considerably. How his pecs looked when they bounced, turning around with his hands behind his head to display those arms and broad shoulders, adjusting and posing and even letting his hand roam down to rub a little bit at his already growing bulge - perhaps the most shameless aspect of his attire, seeing as it was clearly hiding something -considerable-.

As his eyes went over and enjoyed his form, seeing every tensing muscle and enjoying every facet, though, Teryx couldn't help but notice that there was something oddly soothing about the experience. Perhaps it was vain, yes, but it felt good to show off, even if it was only to himself. It made his body tingle, a shudder running up his spine as he felt himself strain and struggle against his uniform. It was going to feel so good to wear this for an entire shift - practice for later tonight, a phrase cropped up in his head, sliding on through like wind through his skull. Yeah, practice. And so he stared, jaw dropping a bit in awe of his body, a tiny little bit of drool trickling out. This was really nice, actually, and it seemed like the longer he went, the more than nice red hue from the shirt infested his irises.

Had his eyes always been red? Well, it probably wasn't that important.

No, no, this was much better. Even as his gaze met itself and took in that wonderful color things improved. It felt like cotton getting stuffed into his head, little annoyances and memories melting off into the fabric of dream that permeated the night. He'd forgotten what had even gotten him upset earlier, a little spike of heat rolling over his forehead. It just felt so good to focus and concentrate completely on his new purpose, which for the moment, was obviously to look good in his uniform. Practice. Preparation. His eyes lidded a little bit and he gave a long yawn, feeling a distinct popping sort of sensation in his head, like bubbles of thought being pricked by a thin, red needle. The color seemed to seep into his mind's eye as well, tinting the world a little bit as it consumed what was left, improving his natural yellow to that wonderful crimson. It seemed like patterns danced behind his pupils now, little strands of varying red shades spinning and twisting endlessly, and it was so very easy to stare. He felt another rush in his head as 23 remembered to forget. Pop, pop.

Had he forgotten something? Well, it probably wasn't important.

The dragon regarded himself in the mirror with a fresh new perspective, sneering with a certain malicious glee, even showing his teeth a bit as he chuckled. Yes, he looked great tonight. Right and proper for his shift, crossing his arms and growling disdainfully. He couldn't remember why yet, but he knew it would come in due time. With a few springy steps he romped right out, collecting a few odds and ends. His feet slipped into the rubbery boots he'd left by the door, fixing the straps on, marveling at how nice they looked all polished and spitshined. The jet black earpiece was perfectly fit for the dragon, reaching up and giving it a tap with his claw to Finally he grabbed what was easily the most important item in his attire, the sleek visor that fit so snugly across the bridge of his muzzle, pressing against his eternally-red eyes. Outlined in a gold trim and with a sleek plastic screen, he knew it was important, but couldn't quite place why yet. 23 had faith that the answer would be revealed in due time. Off went the lights and out went the dragon out into the cool evening air.

Another warm buzz shot up his spine and into his brain as he strode down the sidewalk, back ramrod straight, chest puffed out, a devilish and yet vacant grin plastered across his face. Phrases bubbled up in his head, the dragon absentmindedly nodding to each of them as a familiar voice seemed to speak directly into his mind. He needed to show off, make people gawk, see the awe and fear in their eyes. He thumped his chest with his fist for a moment, snickering over his own behavior. "Heh. Let them feast their eyes. 23 is amazing, thank you very much." He spoke to no one in particular, but he liked to imagine a weak and sniveling little thing, or perhaps another cocky and well-muscled type. Maybe he could recruit them for the network. They'd be much more useful that way. He mused on this as he waited at the bus stop, hopping on not a minute after he got there - his timing was, only fittingly, for a beast like him, impeccable.

A very quiet little voice in the bouncer's head questioned briefly why he was taking this route of transport, but as he plopped down into one of the seats after depositing his modest fare, the voice was quieted again by the stares from the few other sleepy folk on public transit. He even spread his legs a bit, arms splayed out, a cocky grin crossing his muzzle again. That's right, he just needed some time to sit still and look nice and proper, and the reason for his inclination made itself apparent soon after.

It started with the droning tones from his earpiece that began blaring into his ear as the doors closed and the bus began to drive off. Smooth synths and what seemed like a whispering voice buried deep beneath the electronic hum, echoing in his head over and over again. The other sounds of the city began to melt away all but immediately, the dragon only able to focus on the music with its occasional sharp beeping sound. Those seemed to punctuate the piece, making his eyes glaze over every time he heard one, like his mind was being practically excised. But that wasn't important anyway - it was easier to let the fog pour into his head, clouding everything up with wild abandon. The visor's screen flared to life as his eyes drooped, the front of it turning a deep black to conceal the red patterns that began to play and glow in front of the bouncer's worshipful gaze.

The dominating pattern of the visual was spirals, spinning around and around, slow and first and then speeding up, one big and enthralling center that split off into multiples of that mind-rending shape. The maelstrom of red seemed to ebb and flow constantly, eventually hitting a searing brightness that illuminated the dragon's scales and made his eyes water a little bit from the intensity. Ring after ring after ring, the shifts in the pattern soon fell in with the timing of his breath, that meaty chest going up... and down, in a steady rhythm. His tail thumped and wagged around as best it could underneath the constraints, seemingly wanting to swing back and forth like an excited puppy, dick giving a throb or two underneath those leather pants as he gave a long, peaceful sigh. The voice was starting to creep up in volume, cooing directly into the beast's mind.

"You spend far too much of your time thinking for yourself. You should be grateful for this opportunity, although you're not so far gone that I expect I must tell you this." 23 nodded along, of course. He was having trouble recalling the last time he spent too long thinking, but the voice must be right, judging by how it made his body melt down into the seat despite it not being particularly comfortable. "It's so much better to cast all of that tension off, not needing to worry about anything else. Feasting your eyes on pretty patterns instead, ears attentively listening to orders. Keep on relaxing for me, feeling that void be created in your mind. A yawning chasm for you to cast your free will, your own thoughts into, letting all of that go." 23 could feel himself letting go completely, like something unimportant was leaking out of his head and running off, onto the ground, unable to bother him in the slightest. He just needed to focus on the pretty patterns, yes, focus and obey completely. "Giving in fully to dronethought. Nothing else matters, because nothing else exists for a good drone like Twenty-Three."

At the mention of the dronethought the bouncer's heart skipped a bit, and everything started to feel like it had changed. The warmth in his head started to slip into an icy chill, the drone's eyes turning into a solid red, matching the screen that he was watching. His excited tail came to a grinding halt, the sneer on his face degrading into a neutral, uneven expression. He knew that he needed to key in completely, ignore absolutely everything else. Even knowing this started to grind to a halt - right now, he was just a glorified meat puppet, eyes fluttering on the verge of closing from the sheer effort of keeping them open. Not normally a hard thing, but for a completely mindless thrall, it seemed like a world of effort. But he wanted to keep staring at those wonderful..

"According to your schedule, you should be ready for standby, thus ending this recording. Await further orders, Enforcer 23."

And then they slammed shut and he was nothing.

~

A distinct groggy sensation pressed into him, spending a long time piecing together his thoughts. "Where..." Okay, that was first. A place, that's what that was, and the next word was what. "Am." State of being. "I?" I, someone, he was... Teryx! His name was Teryx, and the dragon's eyes sprung open. Or they sort of did, anyway - it didn't feel like normal sight, more like seeing the output of a camera mounted on his forehead. Everything was still blurry so he took a moment to recall what had happened. He'd been awoken by an alarm and then started dressing, right? Had it been some kind of weird dream? No, it felt too real, and right now everything was so hazy and indistinct. That must've actually happened, and he must've fallen back asleep again, or something.

This place looked familiar, even though he didn't recognize where he was, he could feel it tickling the back of his mind. Chrome hallways with lights dotting the sides, posters with a red spiral design lining the walls and rows of doors on both sides with shuttered windows. He had to be reliving some kind of memory, something he'd forgotten. But he had no clue where he was - had he forgotten whatever transpired? He managed to get back sensation in his body, but it was like being a passenger.. The dragon's protests and mental fist-pounding on his scaley, hazy cage didn't do anything to alter the ongoing scene. "Rrrff! Let me go, let me go!" His body was writhing in the grip of some fuzzy, indeterminable thing. The sensation was slick and rubbery, some kind of latex that he could feel bulging muscle through - behind him, and underneath that skintight layer it was hard to discern what exactly was grabbing (had grabbed?) him. The protests weren't doing much good, the dragon's own body not quite able to break free from the harsh, latex grasp. He didn't feel as strong as he should. He was supposed to be bigger than this. Stronger. Beef. Focus on his workouts, becoming studly, so that he would be fit to...

He felt a sharp chill go through his mind as he shook off the phrases.

"So very fussy, 23-to-be. You should've thought of that before you tried to bother one of my associates with your wholly undesired 'advances' and 'draconic charms'. You will do much better with my guidance for your stay here." The voice from behind him was new, but it wasn't close enough to belong to whatever creature was dragging him forcibly through the hall - in fact, it sounded like it was coming from pretty fair beneath him, knee level or so. It was smooth and confident, deep and seeming to ring in his ears. The dragon felt a bit of the dream's mental haze creeping up on him again... Maybe this was the voice that he was listening to. That he focused on. He needed to listen. He needed. Need.

"Fuck you!" His sharp protest knocked the slumbering dragon out of his stupor again, but that made him feel only all the more hopeless.

"Oh, that's definitely in the cards, 23. My systems overheard you describing that cock of yours in the bathroom earlier - it does sound quite enticing, I must admit. I'll be having a good time with it, rest assured." Even just listening to that voice for a moment made his head glaze over from the cadence, rolled up into his head with a moan as he felt a hand grasp at his balls, small claws turning them over and dragging what felt like scale a little bit along the underside of his shaft, giving a little bit of attention to each and every ridge. The blood flowed down there all but immediately, shaft ballooning and throbbing with need, leaking out a little bit - presumably onto whoever was down there, judging by the next comment from that voice. "Mhm, looks just as pent up as I expected from a cocky, dickish dragon. Your most valuable feature in your own eyes - it'll be a good emblem of my control, yes it will!" He felt something, perhaps a tail, wrap around the base with a harsh squeeze. Almost felt like a cockring the way it was restricting the flow, cock feeling red hot with need and craving. So, so sensitive...

By now the dreaming dragon's grasp on the situation had degraded considerably, and his body's viewpoint didn't give much to go off, but he did notice that he had stopped struggling in the grip of whoever was escorting him. The rest of this probably-memory was a blur - hearing a door creak open, as a lock slammed shut behind him, and then another, as the runt underneath the two bigger creatures skittered around. "Strap the new acquisition in, please. Full soundscape and the wall monitor, I want to make sure he breaks.. He needs to be fitted with a visor. Add that as a medium priority task for 13. Do I make myself clear?"

The quiet voice that passed for a dragon stirring around in the dreamy haze felt an urge to answer "Yes, boss.", but he still couldn't talk. Instead he heard a snort from the stern, rubbery statue who was presently tying his body down. He felt leather straps squeeze against his scales, a harsh jolt of electricity on his cock, his eyes being forced down at a wall with so many familiar red patterns.

"Understood, boss."

"Good. I think we can leave him here to enjoy the show and orientation videos. Sleep well, 23."

And then the door slammed and the dragon was nothing.

~

23 blinked a few times rapidly as the patterns on his visor settled down. What an odd dream he just had - why would he ever resist Boss's will or dislike being put into one of the programming chambers? He decided it best to put the thought out of his head immediately, which he found quite easy to do, discarding it like a piece of right and proper refuse. Doubt had no place in the drone's mind, after all, and the very thought of what it could do to him made him frown and growl with discontent. Right on cue he felt his arm shoot up and give a tug to the cord above him, prompting the bus to begin coming to a halt in preparation for his stop. Wordlessly and with a stern look in his eyes he strode off, moving like a clockwork automaton, rigid with long strides. He was quite glad for the time, though - his head felt sharp, unlike earlier when his mind had been muddled with self-servicing thoughts and ridiculous ideas about his clothes being way too tight and revealing. As if he wanted to hide all this perfection instead of flaunting it. What a joke - it was enough to make him snicker at himself. What on earth had he been thinking? Clearly not thinking was easier if he had such ridiculous thoughts on his own. That's why he had boss to think for him. Don't think. Don't think. Don't think--

As he neared his destination, the dragon finally picked up on something other than the now omnipresent- seeming droning of electronic esoterica in his ears, some heavy metal song, a din that no doubt sent anyone unfortunate enough to live in the nearby apartments into a fright. He'd arrived at the Darkscale, Boss's nightclub, and easily his favorite locale in the entire city. There was, like usual, a considerable crowd outside clamoring to get into the sprawling building, one he regarded with narrowed eyes and a hiss of disapproval. So much rabble out tonight - drunkards and other pieces of garbage. His cool and icy mind regarded each of them in turn, how pitiful they were in comparison to his own sculpted form - they didn't even hold a candle, but as long as they didn't bother the Boss, he supposed he could stand them.

Was he always this filled with contempt? Well, Boss had told him to be, so probably. It didn't help that his visor tagged so many of them as Unimportant. It was so nice, that little piece of tech, giving him opinions like that. His brain could keep relaxing and focus on other things, like his unwavering devotion to his job and complete lack of any other priorities. So much simpler than whatever he'd been doing before!

His hand went up to the earpiece, giving it a tap so he'd be broadcast to the radio all the security staff on duty were connected to. "23's here for his shift. This one is awaiting orders." He heard the chit-chatter that occasionally cut into the ambient music all the drones listened to in order to keep their minds focused.. But before he could even process what they were talking about, his eyes glazed over, words going in one ear and out the other. "Nothing going on upstairs." he mumbled under his breath. Soon he heard a familiar voice over the line, monotone and unfeeling as he pushed his way through the crowd. His favorite sneer returned to his face.

"23. Guard door until 19 arrives." 11's commands were punctuated with guttural, bestial huffs and grunts of his own, eliciting an echo from 23 with every sound. "Rrf. Then escort Boss to dining area. Big shots there. No trouble tonight. Hurf." The last part of the day's assignment was enough to make the bouncer's eyes gleam with a little red light behind his visor, widening. Time spent protecting the Boss? His voice took on an unusually emotive cadence for a moment, each syllable pronounced with a sing-song enjoyment.

"23 obeys, 11." A snort to sign off and he gave another tap to turn off the global radio. Wordlessly he relieved one of his fellow staff once he'd pushed his way to the sprawling entrance and assumed the typical posture, arms crossed and with a disapproving glare out at the considerable line and crowd. He gave a nod and grunt to his opposite number for the evening, a nicely-muscled hyena named 54 who.. Well, he looked somewhat familiar, but 23 remembered to forget. They did get chance to hold a quick conversation as the people at the front started bickering amongst themselves and held things up a bit.

"Nice duds."

"Yours too." Who had said what? Did it matter? It was hard to keep track sometimes.

"Hehehe." The two chuckled in unison. Too much effort to do much more than that - wasn't the place to enjoy each other's forms, sadly. Perhaps if they asked nicely, but even then, they didn't have the time as the throng of riff-raff slowly began moving again, the welpy canines at the front finally coming to a consensus in who would tackle the doormen first. Unlike some other aspects of the job, dealing with the rabble who behaved themselves wasn't terribly exciting - ask a few questions, get the IDs for the visor's system to cross check with the network, make sure they weren't too likely to cause trouble immediately. Of course some inevitably slipped through the cracks, and that's what 23 occupied his empty mind with - Toss them. Grind them into the ground. Haul back to be 'fixed' and repurposed. "Hehehe." Shame that the normal people were so otherwise unentertaining, but that's what they got for not being obedient drones. He almost felt sorry for them.

The hours came and went mostly uneventfully - idiots who forgot their ID, or were apparently intimidated by the two burly dudes and their vigil, or the occasional macho type like the wolf who tried to get in by "intimidating" the two with his own pathetic flexing. A joint glare and a gleam from the 'yeen and rain-drone's red eyes was enough to make him falter a bit and put an end to the charade. In the end they let him inside, albeit tagged in the system as 'CANDIDATE'. Boss took his time reviewing each and every one of those individuals, and upon approval, they would earn 23's utmost attention. His blanked-out head filled with quickly filled with fleeting fantasies - Force him into chair. Tie down. Watch mind leak out, eyes turn red, exit. Having a good laugh with his new droned brethren. Attuned. Loyal. New staff for the Darkscale, a lifetime contract.

The sharp, high pitched tone from his earpiece interrupted his thoughts and shocked the drone to compulsory action, legs starting in a brisk stride all by themselves. No words were needed - he understood 19 would relieve him, for he had the highest honor - a direct order from boss to escort him! His excitement made him pick up the pace, walking swiftly even as he kept his perfect posture, his grimacing sneer rapidly replaced by an almost dopey grin as adrenaline began to pump and pound through his body. His euphoria was such that he didn't pay much attention to where he was going - the bright purple lights and constant light mist of the club barely registered, and fortunately for the rain dragon, people were quite used to making a path for quick-paced security staff at this particular establishment. There was some bunny or somesuch who dared to grope at his rear as he strode past who got a reflexive slap upside the head with his tail. 23 was about to snap, growling under his breath, but as the tone played again, 23 felt his excitement to obey Boss's commands override his compulsion to discipline the rabble more forcefully. "23's on his way to the office."

The two sentinels who stood in front of those stairs stepped aside as 23's voice came over the radio, leaving their duty to head into the general overflow pool and otherwise patrol around the joint. Boss had his new protection for the night assigned, after all, heralded by the forceful thud of rubber-encased soles against every single step, tail swaying back and forth in a wide arc, panting with delight 23 didn't waste any time once he got to the top - after briefly admiring Boss's name, 'DRAZIN', emblazoned in gold hanging over the tiny door, he gave a sharp knock and then a few paces back, waiting patiently.

Soon the ru-

No, no.

Soon the glorious, hunky lil' thing cracked the door open and stepped out, adjusting his lil' bowtie with those clawed hands, quite underdressed for someone with his position - a t-shirt with archaic runes in some unknown language on the front, jeans, his bushy hair messy and entirely unkempt. The kobold's horns poked out above the fuzz, framing a calm and collected face with such piercing crimson eyes that it was hard to focus on anything else. For a drone, anyway. The rest of his frame was dominated by dark colors, black and dark grey scales adorning every facet, an unusual coloration for his kind but not at all concealing his actual nature. Best color scheme, the drone nodded and agreed with suddenly. The kobold looked up at the at-attention rain dragon with a happy sigh, flitting his own tongue over his muzzle with craven hungers and illicit imaginings. 23 fixated briefly on that forked piece of flesh, shuddering as he recalled a moment where it dragged across his scales, always happy to make every inch available to Boss...

Wait, a kobold dominating a dragon..? A little voice pounded in the back of 23's head. Boss said that was the way to go. What voice? 23 must've been imagining things.

"Good evening, 23. Looking sharp as always." The bouncer-drone resisted the urge to let his eyes roll up into his head from merely hearing that rich voice, jaw hanging open a bit and tongue flopping out before he collected himself and resumed his stern, mechanical disposition.

"Awaiting orders, boss! 23 is empty without your command." The words rolled right off his tongue reflexively, expression fixed still only through sheer force of will, even if he really wanted to resume that spaced-out smile of his. "And thank you, boss. Only the best studs for boss."

"Damn straight. And yes, you'll be taking me to Lounge 4. Going to have a nice dinner up there and maybe chat with a few folks who came in, but also I want to be there to keep my own eye out. There's a chance that rabble might show up." 23 couldn't help but give a long snarl at the r-word, wisps of smoke pouring out of his nostrils as he shook a bit from the sheer rage.

"Rabble is trash, boss. Must be stomped underfoot."

"You took to your training so well, 23. Complete and total hatred for them. Goooood drone." The compliment was too much for the dragon-drone to bear, finally losing his composure and compelling him to sit kneel on the ground, legs spread as he plopped on his knee, tail wagging and thumping happily behind him.

"Thank you... boss." The kobold showed his appreciation with a press into the bouncer's throbbing cock through the leather with his sole.

"Hmm, you know, this is hard enough..." Boss was a pretty light little thing, and bringing his other foot up and onto the drone's awaiting thigh, it was surprisingly easy to use the draconic shaft as a foothold. 23 didn't flinch in the slightest, of course, suppressing a moan from the sensation of Boss harshly pressing down onto that sensitive flesh. Eventually he finished clamoring up and onto the beast's shoulder, tail coiling possessively around his thrall's neck with a greedy squeeze. "Needs a thick collar for a thick neck. Now, up and ready, 23! I'm not walking there myself, because who does the labor around here?"

"Drones, boss. Just use my horns to steer." Wordlessly and understanding the drone arose to his feet and carefully stepped down the stairs once again, not wanting to disturb the glorious kobold from his perch on the shoulder. Drazin repaid the perfect form and attentiveness with some friendly scratches behind his escort's ears, ruffling up that mane with a few delighted yip-yip sounds of laughter underneath his breath. "Thank you for your touch, boss."

"I have to get it in now, I'll be quite busy once we get there! Especially if someone interrupts me..." He left his sentence hanging intentionally, 23 moving to interrupt.

"No-one bothers boss!" He barked out, another less-intense snarl as he thought of some annoyance even daring to come into the kobold's field of vision.

"Ohh, is that so, my enforcer? And what if they try to touch me, perhaps violently?" It was only the dragon's awareness that he shouldn't cause a scene that kept him from roaring, but he did slam a fist into an open palm with an angry huff.

"NO-ONE touches boss! And if they do, 23 will stomp their pathetic faces with his boots."

"I like how you think, 23. Or rather don't think. Calm down, good drone." The dragon's eyes drooped for a moment as they reached the bottom of the steps, pacified.

The attention from the club goers as the dragon maneuvered toward the far side of the building was mostly subdued, as they were lost in their own conversations, erotic escapades, or other activities. He did get the occasional funny look from someone, the whispering rumors flaring up at the odd procession.

"Is that the guy that actually owns the place?" "Can't be, he's such a runt." "Look at how into it that dragon is..." "Something suspicious goes on in here with those security guys, I know it."

Drazin, of course, relished in the attention and happily doled out the occasional wink or smug grin to those who paid him notice. 23 had other concerns, constantly scanning the crowd for the worst of the rabble. At one point some tiger dared to reach towards the little boss's tail for a dug, prompting the brute to spin around (Drazin just hanging on for dear life at the sudden turn) and grab him by the scruff of his chest, hoisting him up a few inches off the ground with an icy glare and baring his teeth into a considerable roar! The nearby crowd (that could hear the commotion over the blaring music, anyway) fell silent, all eyes on the situation, the patr...

No, no, not a patron, the wretch. The rabble. The pathetic little kitten, he mewled and stared at his sudden change of fortunes.

"Were your filthy paws going to touch the Boss?"

"N-no... sir!" The pathetic kit stammered out. The drone promptly dropped him on the floor, the tiger stumbling a bit before landing flat on his ass, eliciting a few snickers of derision from the crowd.

"Damn, he's a beast." "What a dumb brute though..." "Look at how devoted he is, woah." The thrall took it all in stride, a proud huff rolling out from him as he left the dumb rabble behind him, boss leaning in to whisper.

"Good job, my drone. Always knew I can count on you." Such approval made him throb considerably downstairs, a little trickle of drool rolling out, thankfully hard to spot on his shirt.

"Hehehe. Thanks, boss." They needed to exchange no other words, silently continuing to their destination on the next floor up having escaped from the den of depravity and nonsense - even if it was one the bossbold himself had cultivated.

The VIP section of the building was a pretty subdued and relaxed place compared to the garishly bright and bustling 1st floor, though the fact that a one-way glass window gave a pretty overview of one of the dance floors meant that it wasn't completely free from the occasional flare of light. Overall the decor was otherwise pretty cool and collected - potted plants, paintings acquired by questionably legal methodologies, an aquarium that perhaps stood out as a bit tacky otherwise. A whole eccentric cast of characters came and went in earnest - two female foxes dressed in the classical flapper style, three drunk lawyers who had conclusively ruined their suits, and so on. A few seemed to know Drazin personally, partially because he greeted them from his perch and partially because none of the individuals in the room were tagged with such degrading terminology as the throngs downstairs. He slipped down and off to chat up a few kobolds who were a little tipsy and hanging outside the door to Lounge 4. The drone just crossed his arms with a grunt, making sure to loom over them.

"Any of yous bothering the boss?"

"They're fine, 23. Isn't he a treat, though?" 23 gave a derisive snort at the others regardless, but the worshipful looks he got helped to ease his disdain, instead casting his attention to his immediate surroundings. He even backed up a bit, a few paces away from the boss - he wanted to give him space with the guests, after all, even while watching over him like a proper protector. Watch.

Protect boss. Surveil. No-one touches boss...

One thing jumped out immediately, mostly because it was vying for his attention directly- a wolf with strikingly white fur and a rich pair of blue eyes, ice cold, was skulking along and looking quite a bit unsure of himself. The visor's viewscreen whirred to life, earning a perplexed examination from the drone at the CANDIDATE-tagged wolf. He'd been wearing street clothes when he saw him earlier at the door! Now, he was quite overdressed judging by the rest of the VIPs - a full suit and tie, black dress pants and boots, though with how he was leaning and hunching along... definitely took away from the professional look, in the drone's eyes. A nervous slight frown covered his muzzle as he locked eyes with the drone, giving a subdued wave with his hand. "Hello there, uh... 23?" The drone tilted his head up a bit, looking down with disinterest.

"What?" The drone soon got his answer as the wolf held up... it looked like one of those stick-shaped reading lights, to an extent, albeit with a big red button. "Why are you wasting 2- my time?" He felt a need to self-correct, what with the suspicious behavior, as painful as it was to use the first person, eliciting a wince. This prompted the wolf to stab one of his claws into that button, and--

It was a bright flash, bright enough to penetrate the drone's visor and dilate the dragon's pupils. 23 didn't feel any different afterward, other than somewhat perplexed over why someone would bother doing such a thing, and he regarded the the wolf with a confused expression.

"O-oh, it worked. I see you're confused, come quickly!" He whispered quickly into the dragon's ears. The flash had drawn a few quizzical looks from onlookers and the wolf turned to jog off - but he wouldn't be going anywhere, because the rain dragon found itself baring his teeth with a deep, rolling snarl. The wolf's designation changed to APPREHEND on the visor's viewscreen. He'd only seen this a few times, but his brain knew to let the feral instincts take over, darting after the can-

Piece of trash. Literal garbage. Rebel. Enemy of the boss. Rabble.

His legs quickened, long leaping bounds, meaty arms sliding underneath the piece of shit's and wrapping around fast, tail snapping around those legs into a harsh and sudden knot, squeezing as he growled into the interloper and eliciting a panicked yelp from the fucker. "Aagh, hey, hey! Teryx is your name, right? Let me go, let me go!" Of course by now all eyes were on the commotion, at least from all of the sober people. The dragon wasn't having any of it, body bulging out against his black uniform and not giving a single damn when the wolf tried to use his claws against those perfected scales. Of course, Boss came over in his usual calm fashion, and gestured at the device that still remained in the wolf's hands. Another growl from the dragon right into those ears and the rabble complied, dropping it into the kobold's awaiting grip.

"Silence." Drazin said in a harsh breath. The pup, paralyzed by fear, complied as the bossbold turned towards the assembled crowd and twirled the metal rod in his hands. "My sincerest apologies for the disturbance, my fellow esteemed personages. It appears that in a flash of irredeemable foolishness, this.. Piece of work managed to work their way up here and attempted to injure one of us with this little thing. Could be a hidden knife of some sort." Gasps and shocked ooohs from those rang out in response. The kobold's eyes gleamed briefly and they settled down. "Now then, I'll be doubling down my security detail on this floor for the remainder of the evening, in case he has any friends. As much as I enjoy your company and was looking forward for dinner, I'll be going with my bouncer here to ensure this man is picked up by the proper authorities. I'll see you all tomorrow for the presentation by Mr. Selthburn. Have a wonderful evening." They seemed to resume their chatter all but immediately, 23 catching a few questions.

"Who has a grudge with him, I wonder?" "Hmph, whoever it is, I don't want to support them if they target my favorite lounge." "At least his security's tight, though... that dragon's a hero."

With a stern gaze from boss 23 knew to hold in his anger for now, grunting again as he set the piece of trash down, grasping his jaw briefly and bringing the head close, puffing smoke into the wolf's face. After affixing his headphones and relaying a few requests to the staff, the kobold beckoned and gestured down the hall, towards where an entrance to "The Back" was.

"No one touches boss. No one inconveniences boss." A grasp on the wolf's arm and a harsh tug as the dragon began walking. The wolf tried to break free, eyes wide with fear, the dragon casting glances often over his shoulder to check for progress in escaping. The rabble wasn't having any luck, though, his rear skidding along the ground as he squirmed and tried to break from the dragon's grasp. Before where it was whimsical, the kobold's tail dragged along the ground, though the soothing sound of a malicious snickering and the sight of him tip-tapping his claws together. 23 knew to like that - it meant Drazin felt like doing something 'fun'.

Soon they got to an elevator and thus began the long trip down. The kobold hummed to himself as he did something or other on his phone, the wolf thrashing on the floor for a while and coming reasonably close to scratching a precious scale. He got pinned down directly by the drone for his trouble, body straining as those massive arms threatened to rip his compression shirt into tatters from the effort he was putting into displaying them. The bouncer's empty head loomed over the Candidate's, showing his teeth, gleaming with anger.

A ding and the door opened; then came the familiar chrome walls and rows and rows of doors. 23 knew this place well - he loved coming back here, of course, as it was where the prettiest of sounds and patterns like the ones on his visor tended to live. There were a number of other illicit activities going on back here, of course, but the brainwashing chambers were the best of all. The kobold led them silently to one of the empty rooms, a bit dark for the moment, just enough red lighting to make things out. The dragon wordlessly shoved the wolf in, keeping a grip on the scruff, looming as the Boss cast a spotlight on the troublemaker.

"Thank you for your patience, 23. I'm sure you're dying to know what exactly this fool did - and do me a favor and undress him.."

"Yes, boss. 23's anger has been..." He bore his teeth again, splaying his claws out. "Potent." With some digging in he began to rip the wolf's clothes to shreds, no doubt wasting hundreds of dollars in fine fabrics.

"Mhm. Well, I worked it out pretty easily. Our wolf friend here isn't very smart." He held up the little metal rod again, claw tip-tapping at the red button. "I'll tell you what he did, mhm. These are actually a trap by me. I won't get into the specifics, but he thought..." The devil's own grin manifested with hellish delight on his face, fangs bared as he spoke. "That this would turn off your drone programming. Make you less obedient. That sort of thing." It took a moment for 23 to process, playing what Boss had said in his mind over and over again, his brow quirked a bit, a hand even going up to scratch his mane. Once he understood, though, his body snapped to react to the mantra in his mind - Stomp, Strap, Subjugate. A thick hand grasped the wolf's head and hauled him right up the ground, several inches above, the dumb canine frozen again and completely still with a look of shock on his face as the dragon's grip spun him around to face 23. A deep breath, and - trusting in the soundproofed nature of these little alcoves - unleashed an ear splitting roar right into the fucker's face, so loud that he could see Boss rub his head from discomfort. The wolf's eyes slammed shut from the sensation, a pathetic whimper being drowned out by sheer draconic rage as the rain drone cast him down onto the floor, planting one of those meaty soles encased in rubber right on the idiot's crotch. All the better they were an odd variety, rubber coating each toe individually, meaning the wretch could feel him dig his claws into his belly a bit.

"23 will always obey Boss. 23 stomp on trash." He dragged that sole right up the wolf's chest - before kicking it to the side as the wolf gave a final flail. His arm had been coming up with claws bared, trying to rip into the enforcer's leg, but a quick stomp right on the forearm that pinned it down to the ground took care of that alongside coaxing a pained yelp from the pup. 23 knew. Stomp on rabble. He promptly plopped his other boot right on the muzzle and began grinding it in with malice in his enchanted red glare, resting the tip on that space between the dumb creature's eyes. "Punk rabble will never change that. 23 insulted. Vile. Garbage!"

The dragon reached down and grabbed the wolf again, hefting him and over his head entirely, before setting him down with a tiiiny bit of care onto the prepared, cushioned table that the boss had prepared while he was busy digging his heels in. A monitor began to descend in front of the two, the wolf growling at Boss as he finished lubing up the beastly dragon-dick. The second part of his mantra.

"Oh, is this all that's gonna happen? Just gonna have him pound me? Bring it, I've taken dicks bigger than you, little runty piece of criminal trash!" The boss just waved it off as he strode to the wall, hopping into a chair and cracking a book open. "23, tell him what's going on. I don't want to steal your thunder." The grunt snorted as he unzipped his pants, pressing his powerful hands into the wolf's back, ridged cock pulsing with life and pressed into the dragon-drone's chest at the moment.

"When rabble is done being stomped..." The dragon said in an even, flat tone. "Brainwashed into enforcer ranks!" Before the mischief-maker had time to object or question his newfound predicament, the screen in front of them flared to life, ring after ring of hypnotic red rolling out from the center. The familiar smooth synth of dronethought began to play throughout the entire room as the enforcer's eyes began to degrade completely. His pupils, sclera, all melted rapidly into a mass of cascading and spiraling red patterns. He felt his focus become laser sharp as he slipped into programming mode, all of his anger being funneled down into his big dumb dick - which promptly found a home in canine rear, ridges slamming in without a second thought. It elicited only a brief and sharp yelp from the pup before the red began to speak to him, tension melting off his body as 23 plunged into those depths. His cock was already slick with preseed, already rock hard from grinding this idiot into the dirt, and it paved the way to focus on his current purpose.

He was just a fucking machine right now. All that mattered, the spiral told him, was pounding submission into this wolf. And so he did, settling into a rhythmic pattern, in and out steadily, pumping to the emergence and recession of crimson rings. He grunted in time with the music and shot bursts of pre every time he lost another thought, every movement dictated by Boss's perfect programming. The wolf didn't do much underneath him, the lay too busy being awestruck by his first exposure to hypnotic programming and simply frozen there, but that was completely fine. The machine was content to simply be a sex toy plowing into another one, the wolf practically a still fleshlight whose only purpose in 23's mind was to receive cock and be completely brainwashed. Already he noticed the signs, the wolf at one point looking over his shoulder with one iris completely red. The dragon's hand shot immediately to that head, forcing it back and keeping it locked on to the pretty, pretty screen.

From there it was so easy to settle into the rhythm. In, and out. Drone was a fuckbeast. Drone could feel the heat surging through his body, snorting, flexing his free hands, tensing the muscles in his back and feeling his cock throb as those ridges ground into the wolf in all their glory. He was a proper stud. Stud. Stud. Stud. So easy for his brain to get stuck on those words, but it didn't matter. Gave his mouth something to do, chanting in unison with the stupid new recruit underneath him..

"Obey." "Ffnf.. no. nobey... obey?" "Obey!" "Obey..."

Eventually even the direct shortcuts to his brain were not enough to keep him, the dragon moaning out in a long, needy breath before releasing his copious load right into the... the.. 71. 71 took it like a proper helpless pup, of course, as was to be expected after who knew how long of being exposed to the scintillating colors. It felt so good, releasing all that anger toward whoever 71 had been before, transforming it into sticky ropes of dragon seed that coated the wolf's insides rapidly and without any sense of restraint. Finally he managed to work his way off, a stray shot landing onto himself as he stumbled back and onto an awaiting cushion himself, panting with exhaustion, his eyes still spiraling from the exposure and sheer bliss of nothingness. He felt Boss's scaled hand rest on his shoulder, eliciting a happy yawn - he had permission to just sit there and enjoy the afterglow.

"Mm, good show, 23. I was highly entertained." A lick across one of 23's cheeks and onto his horns. A happy sigh rolled out from the spent bouncer. "And one that will definitely merit further reward, especially once 71's training and assignment has been finished. But there is no need for that right now, as I think it's time that 23 catch a nap. I'll be looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, my beast." The kobold hummed into the dragon's ears and rocked his head, the drone feeling it loll, eyes slipped shut as he was lulled into a more thoroughly empty sort of trance. Boss had told him once it was easy to cum out thoughts, after all.

His eyes slammed shut once more, and then the enforcer was nothing.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Teryx blinked a few times in rapid succession, groaning loudly as the familiar buzz and boops of his phone went off in a valiant, and today successful, attempt to rouse him from the deep slumber. This wasn't like mornings used to be, though - lately he had been awakening with much more success. He felt a warm sensation course through his body, no morning wood to speak of at all, feeling oddly content and pleased with himself, if maybe a little sore. Had it all been some good erotic dream that he'd forgotten, maybe?

With a grumble he slipped up and out of his bed, turning off his alarm and going through his now customary morning stretch, slipping off his fashionable visor and removing the earpiece that played such wonderful music while he was asleep. He made sure that the shirt and pants he left out on the table made their way into the laundry bask-

Wait, where did he get all this stuff? And why did he feel so satisfied, anyway?

A brief flash of red in his imagination.

Well, it probably wasn't important.
