In prep of the big day
"Okay, You can move now."
Kai sighed in relief as he let his arms fall to his side. His new suit hugging his shoulders better.
"Thanks again," Kai said to the tailor.
The man smiled, nodded and left the room with his measuring tape around his neck.
Kai tugged the suit jacket. Tomorrow he was going to be Gabriel's best man at his wedding.
He knew Gabriel for almost two years. In that time he had formed the kind of friendship that one has with on old war buddy, which Gabriel was. Kai would gladly have him by his side when things got choppy.
Even more he knew Gabriel, he knew Kohaku, The wife-to-be.
She and Kai go far back. As far as childhood. They had the type of friendship that someone could only get with time. She was the one Kai came to when he just wanted to live life with a friend.
These two lucarios were his best companions. They were about to join in the most sacred of partnerships.
And Kai, He was just happy to be invited to their wedding.
