TransforMate

Story by Connor on SoFurry

Rin paced the floor of her motel room. She estimated that she had done so for almost an hour. She had done nothing but walk back and forth across the carpet in front of the bed. Every few laps or so, she checked the time on the clock above the television set. Only a minute or so would pass between glances, but each minute felt more and more valuable. The minutes before the full moon were getting fewer and fewer. Even shorter was the time her contact would call her prepaid cell phone.

She checked the phone to see if there were any messages or missed calls. She bought the phone the day before, and didn't dare test if it worked by calling it. Where would she call from? From home? From the office? From her regular cell phone? Nothing from her real life should be connected to the "burner." She heard the term from her son, who was growing up on all those cop shows on television. Just having one made her feel like a criminal. She recalled pacing the electronics section, just as she was pacing now, eyeing the disposable phones like they were sex toys in a store where she didn't belong. But she had to buy one if she was going to give her contact a number to call. And she was already in too deep, having bought a brand new laptop that also had none of her personal info. The laptop she used to connect to TransforMate.

The realization of what Rin was hit her on the second full moon after the business trip from Europe. It had taken her until the sixth full moon, the one last month, to just get the name of the place on the dark web that provided anything close to support for lycanthropy. After months of scouring the Internet, pulling together hints and whispers about a resource for werewolves desperate to keep their secret, she found a tweet that linked to a secret blog with a hidden link. TransforMate. A site for matching werewolves. She was not on the market; the wedding band she left in the glove compartment of her car was proof of that. But she needed some help - ANY help - if she was going to live with this curse.

The appointed time drew closer. She remembered the first time connecting to TransforMate, inputting her zip code to provide a general area for a werewolf nearby to get in touch with her and meet her. It felt all kinds of wrong. Only bad people lurked the dark web, scheduling trysts in secret, using de-identified personal technology to do things they made sure no one would ever know. But she also knew the taste of rabbit in her mouth. So bitter, so unnatural, so...good. What if she desired it again? Would she just be satisfied with smaller animals? What if her werewolf craved the taste of a human being? What if it turned on her family?

Rin needed help to deal with her werewolf. Everything she read on the Internet about lycanthropy was a clouded mix of fact of fiction, but nothing told her there was a cure. She would change every full moon for the rest of her life, forced to do terrible things she couldn't control. One way or another, she needed help living with it. She had hoped TransforMate was that help.

She heard her burner ring. She looked at the caller ID but it didn't matter anyway. It was most certainly a call from another disposable phone. She gave her new number to only one person. Lycana771. Female, early 30s, slightly younger than she was. One of only four werewolves within driving distance of this motel. Within driving distance of where she lived. That was all the information she was going to get.

Rin thought about not answering, and waited three vibrations before she pressed send. One way or another, she was going to change. She might as well do it with someone else.

"Lycana771?" she asked.

A petite voice answered back. "Were2088-something, right?"

"Yeah. It's the handle the system gave me. Not very creative, but I didn't care too much about creativity when I signed up."

"I understand. Maybe you will, once you use TransforMate more."

The thought of getting deeper into the underworld of lycanthropes sent shivers down Rin's spine. She was a good person. A loving wife of a nice man and a caring mother of a growing boy. Dark passions and forbidden pleasures that came with the heat of the full moon had never crossed her mind until that business trip to Europe.

"You're scared," the voice said, making Rin notice that she had let the emerging conversation go silent, "I understand. I was too, at first. That's why I'm here, helping you. Think of it as paying it forward."

Rin sat down on the bed. She looked up at the clock. It was getting really close to moonrise, but not close enough to avoid this conversation from being lengthy, giving her new werewolf friend over the phone a chance to get to know her. She didn't want to know another werewolf. She wanted to satisfy her cravings, avoid detection, then wake up in the middle of nowhere, skulk back to her room fully human, get cleaned up and checked out the next morning. But there was no avoiding the caller's curiosity. Hanging up now would mean a bad review on TransforMate. No werewolf would connect with her again. And she wasn't sure if TransforMate wasn't going to be a regular thing for her. It was her only lifeline at the moment. By now, she was committed.

"What will you be helping me with?" Rin asked plainly.

"It's important if you say it out loud," the voice told her, "I'll talk you through the transformation. Then we'll meet. You've never smelled another werewolf, have you?"

"I don't think so, no."

"You won't miss it. There's a reason I told you to pick a motel off Exit 7. All of them border a wooded area that marks the edge of town. Trust me, I won't know where you're coming from. But I know you're in the area, and you will know I'm here too. Once we travel further into the woods, you and I will find each other."

"I can understand that." Rin's sense of smell was already heightening by now in advance of the full moon. All the pungent, artificial smells of the disposable bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were penetrating the air in the room. She knew that, once outside, she could track any musk. One more hidden power that frightened her.

"After that, it's wherever our desires take us. Sometimes that's food, but most of the time it's exactly what the matching service was set up for. Hence, the 'mate' in TransforMate."

"I see."

"Don't worry. I know this is just a one-time thing for now. If you like it, and if I like it, we're gonna see more of each other."

"Okay."

The voice on the other line sighed. She clearly was amused at the short answers Rin was giving her. The pin pricks on her skin were slowly becoming more pronounced. It was only mere minutes before she reached the threshold of transformation. Still, she realized she wasn't being polite.

"Why don't you tell me about yourself, hun?"

Rin hesitated, and made it clear by stammering a few times. "I was hoping to keep things discreet for now."

"You can talk about yourself without giving yourself away, you know."

"Maybe." Rin squirmed on the bed a few times, deciding whether or not to play along.

"How about this? I do wealth management. I live maybe an hour away from here. I have a daughter who's supposed to be home studying right now. Never got married, though. Guy ran off, total loser. I hope he never shows up at my door again. Aaaaaaand..." The woman took a deep breath. "It was a boyfriend that bit me about four years ago. What werewolf forgets when there's a full moon, anyways? He escaped the house to make sure I wouldn't be too hurt, but he did draw blood. He told me all about lycanthropy, and the next full moon, I changed with him in the same woods we're headed to tonight."

"Where is he now?"

"He's a travel photographer, and now he goes all around the world taking pictures of whatever. Called it quits as a couple two years ago, and that's when I signed up for TransforMate. I've met the three other werewolves in this area, you know, and a couple more in other places. The most fun I've ever had, trust me!"

"It's so scary, I don't know if I'd call it fun."

The caller paused. No indication of indignation or frustration. Just a firm voice when she spoke again. "You've tasted animal, haven't you?"

Rin took a moment. "Yes."

"Then you know you like it."

Another pause. "Yes, I do."

The woman giggled. "Good! It's important to admit it. Now, your turn."

By now, Rin felt obligated. She stammered once more.

"Start with how you look," the voice said.

Rin nodded. She might as well. "I'm 5'5". Slim enough. Asian. My parents came from abroad, but I'm from around here. Mid 30s, but you know that."

"See? Wasn't that hard."

Yet, despite her earlier hesitation, she continued. "I have a husband and son. They think I'm on a business trip. I do sales for a clothing manufacturer. That's...that's why I'm a werewolf. I was on a business trip in Europe and a werewolf bit me. I didn't know it was one, of course, until the next full moon. That was months ago."

"It's a big adjustment, I know. I can hear it in your voice. The important thing is to know there are others like you. Like us. You can't cope as a werewolf without support. That's what TransforMate is for. That's what I'm for!"

The woman's voice became so perky at the end. How could someone be so cheerful about being a bloodthirsty, sometimes sex-crazed, werewolf every full moon? "So you must have helped a...newcomer like me before."

"Just once. Some guy, similar deal. Only met his wolf once. I wish he'd call me up again. He was...big."

Rin exhaled sharply. Part of the entire endeavor involved sex. Mating. That was the word in her head. It had been growing ever since night drew closer, as the thoughts of the wolf became stronger. It knew that she had made plans for it. To satisfy its desires in exchange for not tasting blood and raw meat on its lips. Or not too much blood and raw meat. Who knew what the night really had in store for her and her new werewolf friend. But the idea of tasting another werewolf was equal parts enticing and guilt-inducing.

"I get it, I can hear it from how quiet you just became," the voice said, "You have a family. The important thing now is that you keep in mind that you're doing this for them. You don't want to hurt them, do you?"

Rin shook her head silently. Whoever she was talking to, she was right. She couldn't possibly risk their deaths or, even worse, their catching lycanthropy. That heat that radiated from the pit of her stomach. A slow, dull flicker at first, but that which grew in intensity when the full moon was close enough. Even when she couldn't see it, Rin knew it was making her chest warmer and tighter, heat spreading throughout her body, preparing her system for the change.

"It's starting," she said, breathing heavier.

"I know, it's happening to me, too. We only have a couple of minutes. Go outside. I told you to stake out the closest clearing to the woods from your hotel. Go there now. But stay on the line. I'll talk you through everything. Just do it quickly."

Rin gave a quick okay and rushed out her motel room, making sure she had her key card in her pocket. In the faint light of dusk, she took the path she rehearsed in her mind, the one she picked out from her vantage point in her car in the parking lot. She didn't stake out anything past the edge of the woods for some irrational fear that someone earlier would see her and wonder why she was curious about going where there was no protection. She couldn't possibly tell that imaginary someone that she only did it to protect others from her.

Her cautious walking turned into a jog as the heat spread to her fingers and toes. It was a pleasurable tingling by now, but it wouldn't be too long before the fire became intolerable, with the full moon burning the beast out of her.

"Okay, no time anymore, any second I'm going to lose it," the voice said over the phone, "Strip now. You brought a plastic bag, right? Stuff everything in there and hide it where no one will see."

Rin knew all of this already, as she had gone through the motions a number of full moons already. Still, it was comforting to know that this was the accepted practice among her fellow werewolves. She fumbled inside her pants pocket, and the key card flew out as she pulled the plastic bag she had stuffed into her pocket that morning. Exactly for this imminent change. In the near dark, she searched for the card with her hands combing the dirt and grass beneath her, knowing precious moments were being lost.

"Are you done?" the voice said.

"Not yet! I dropped my key card, I need it to get back!"

"Well, hurry up!" she was getting angrier now, knowing it was more the transformation than any other frustration. There was a growl in the voice on the other line that Rin could hear in her own throat as she breathed heavily.

"Whatever," the voice said, starting to stammer, "Just listen...as...as you look f-for it. I'm hanging up now. Remember...ah...remember where you are this m-moment. You'll...you will...you'll need to get back in the mor-r-rning."

"Wait!" Rin cried. More snarling that crying out, actually, as she secured her key card. "W-w-rrr-where...? H-h-how will I find...find you?"

The phone call dropped, indicated by two steady tones on the line. She cursed the air for not having thought of the question sooner, but the hunger gnawing from the inside of her stomach had become a great distraction by now. At worst, she would be spending this full moon alone, like all the other full moons. At least another transformation after which no one would get hurt, save for any stray animal that dared get in her beast's path.

Rin dropped the phone into the plastic bag, knowing that the other werewolf was in the midst of the real, physical change now. She could feel her bra straining against her now growing frame, the hairs on her chest tickling her skin as they pressed against her shirt and back against her body. In what was now pitch blackness, she fumbled to lift her top from her body and throw it into the bag. Her fingers then traveled down to the button fastening her work pants. Her growing claws tore into the skin on her fingers as her dexterity left her.

"N-n-no!" she panted in frustration. Her voice had become dark and husky, once silent breaths now turning into mournful, inhuman wails. The werewolf was bursting at her seams, now literally.

The button on her work pants pinged off in some unknown direction once her growing lower body could no longer tolerate how tight the fabric strained against her legs. Rin pulled them down, kicking her shoes aside to let her pants drop to the floor. She had to believe they would still be wearable in the morning if it was just the fastener that gave way. Wearable enough to make it back to her motel room without much gawking from unwitting passersby, at least.

Any thought of securing clothes in the plastic bag and digging a hole deep enough to keep it hidden away from the world melted under the heat of transformation.

"P-please! Noooooooo!" she cried to the moon, knowing it wouldn't let up with the change. The brightest source of light in the nighttime sky was round and fat and seemed to glow hotter than the sun. If she focused on it, it seemed to radiate wisps of hot air, like the air that bent the daylight during a scorching summer heat wave. Her mostly naked body dripped with sweat so profusely that when she kicked her panties to the dirt, it was damp and smelled of the emerging beast inside her.

She dropped to her knees, and her bra snapped from behind shortly thereafter, freeing her breasts to hang in the air. They were full and round when her chest had once been almost flat. The full moon had grown brighter in the moments she stripped down, and her breasts were all she could see when she looked down at her body. She held them with her hands, and she could see the backs of them had grown patches of thick, black fur, darker even than her human hair. Her palms felt rough when she cupped her nipples, stimulating them with their warmth and providing contrast with the cool nighttime air. She felt her mouth drop, and saliva dribbled from her lips, down her chin, and onto the slight but growing fuzz atop and around her breasts. It felt good. Everything did, and had to. The cracking of bones and muscle inside of her was painful, so every external sensation, from the heat of the moon to her clawed hands gripping her breasts, then her midsection, then her throbbing genitalia, felt more pleasurable than human sex. She was certain to explode once that pleasure invaded her insides. The thought of another shewolf out there was already too much anticipation for her own beast to bear.

Rin fell onto her side and slid onto her back, letting the moon just cover her in that cursed light. She shook and convulsed for a few brief moments while she sought balance and focus. Once she found a comfortable position on her back that didn't rest all her weight on her extending tailbone just above her rear, she looked down at the creeping black hair spreading from her private parts and up her chest like an unsightly infection. The strip of fur bloomed outward and covered her chest, concealing every patch of bare skin and consuming her entire body like fire consuming kindling.

She cried out loud. It sounded like a howl. She wasn't fully animal just yet, as her screams still had the touch of a human element to them, slowly being overwhelmed by the animal she was becoming.

Her face tickled. The edges of her cheeks tingled with the sprouting hairs that had covered the rest of her body. She ran one hand from her chin down her neck, then shoulders, then chest. Her fur was still growing out, and it felt thicker and fuller the further her fingers traveled down her body. Warm, thick, shaggy black fur was its bushiest down there, where her hairs mingled with a wetness that had been secreted from her sex. She was no stranger to kink, as her husband would attest. But this felt dark and forbidden. Shameful. As if she shouldn't be feeling the electric sensation that enveloped her body and drowned out the unendurable pain when two clawed fingers pressed against that most sensitive spot atop her opening. It was irresistible.

"AaaaaaarrrrroooooOOOOOO! AaaaaaawwwwrroooooOOOOO!"

Rin was consumed by waves of ecstasy, and she hadn't even come yet. The werewolf reveled in it as the final changes coursed through her more easily toward the end. Her beast was pleased at how it had burst into physical being, with a small bout of sexual gratification. Still transforming, Rin pressed harder against that forbidden spot, making circular movements with her hand as she rolled onto her furry chest. She buried her face in the cool soil beneath her as her ass pointed up in the air. She could feel her tail burst out of her skin, wagging freely as her tailbone shook. Involuntary muscles connected to her tail clenched and released, providing even more pleasure as the tension quickly released in that moment of freedom.

She lifted her face from the earth when her nose grew discomfort. The final part of it all, as her ears stretched and her teeth sharpened, was her nose extending outward in her field of vision, blackening underneath the moonlight and growing canine in shape.

She was a werewolf. And she howled in equal parts pain and delight.

"AAAAAAARRRRRRRROOOOOOOOO!"

It was a song to the moon that shook the trees around her. The shewolf's transformation was complete. It exhausted every fiber of her being, expending great amounts of energy until her muscles were sore with an enormous sense of restlessness. The hunger that the animal - what was her name again? What was she? What had she become? Did it even matter? She was so hungry. The gnawing sensation in the pit of her stomach moments before had become a relentless bloodlust. The beast that had taken over her psyche needed to be fed. Any large animal would do. On pure instinct, she sniffed the air and her powerful, hairy legs took off in the direction of the strongest scent of meat that the forest around her had to offer.

Her padded feet made crushing noises against the leaves and twigs and earth beneath her. The only thing louder was her heavy breathing, that sharp exhale followed by the snarling made by the air she took in. Cool, evening air providing the slightest touch of relief from the searing hot lycanthropy in her bloodstream. The faster she traveled into the forest, the cooler the air was against her face and fur. So she raced toward the scent as quickly as her legs took her. Her sharp vision accounted for any obstacles in her path, and her furred arms knocked over all but the trees in her way. Her beast was begging to be sated, and nothing would stand between her and her meal.

In mere minutes she traveled further than her frail, ordinary form could walk in an hour. The energy expended to get to her first kill that evening was immense, but her animal calculated that it would be worth it. The scent grew powerful. A raw, musky odor that pierced her sense of smell with this sweet but intense scent of game. A large animal that could barely outrun the apex predator brought by the full moon. It was dead, for sure, and she would be the one to end its existence.

No! She couldn't have been beaten to it! Another scent cut into the air. Another scent that was...just like her! Canine, cursed, and female!

A distant memory bubbled to the top of her consciousness. Something about another beast. Another thing just like her, who was uncontrollable and relentless. And right now, her scent was mixed in with the scent of blood. The blood and raw tissue of the very same large animal she had been hunting just seconds after the end of her transformation.

She joined in.

She pounced on the side of the animal that the other thing hadn't yet torn into with her all-powerful claws and fangs. The poor but delicious creature thrashed about in the final moments of its consciousness, falling to the side as prey for the two strongest beasts in the forest. She gave a half-moment's look to peer into its now-lifeless eyes when she took a breath, pulled its furry carcass open with her powerful hands, and dove in snout first to taste her prize. Jaws clenched into the animal's meat, with blood spraying across her furred face and upper body. Her only regret was it coated her fur and not her tongue and mouth, because the taste of animal on her lips was just too much. Her deformed canines tore into and ground up bits of raw meat as she greedily consumed the kill along with the other beast. When the other one howled in excitement, so, too, did she.

They spread the bones of the carcass apart and licked the dead animal as clean as they could. Within minutes, most of what they had killed was consumed in a furious rage and bloodlust. The only sign that they were done eating was when each other's scents had become more powerful than the animal they ate.

She looked at the other. Was that what she looked like? Then she must have been beautiful. Beautiful and powerful. She never felt like this when there wasn't a full moon. Why did that other part of her fear the moon? What was so wrong about the waves of ecstasy she felt from the kill, and from the fit of self-mating moments before? This was the peak of what she would become, and in that moment, seeing the other beast as if she saw herself, she reveled in what she saw.

Yet the other's eyes were angry. Not anger, but aggression. The other had shared the kill with her, otherwise they would have fought for the right to enjoy the spoils alone. No, this was about dominance. She could feel it too. She needed to dominate the other. Whether with physical violence or sexual control. Or both. Whatever it was, she had to dominate the other.

They pounced at the same time, colliding in mid-air over the dead, bloodied carcass and landing to the side of their kill. They rolled around in the dirt and she could feel every bit of earth getting tangled up in her fur. When she was on top, she pressed her hands against the other's shoulders. She took an instant to look down at her prospective prize. She was bigger, though not by a lot. Not that it mattered, because she was as strong as she was, or else she would have easily been brought low. Her padded hands traveled down to the other's furry breasts. She pressed against them, and stiff nipples stuck out from above the other's fur, a dark brown in the moonlight, still lighter than the fur that she herself possessed.

The other yelped, crying out to the moon, but looking back at her with the same angry eyes, this time more intense. The other's claws swiped at her face. Only her blackened nose caught the sharpest dagger on the other's paw. But it was just enough to make her blood boil. She returned the favor with a swipe at the other's face in kind.

Then she saw the other's eyes glow bright yellow in rage. The next thing she knew, she was being thrown backwards onto her back. She could feel a dull pain in her chest where the other creature's feet had kicked her away. In moments, they had switched positions, with her fellow beast now on top of her.

Now looking up, she made out the silhouette of an animal's head traced out by the light of the full moon. That, and glowing yellow eyes. Bright and angry and intent as they examined her body. She could feel her partner's hot breath on her face and upper chest as the other's face traveled down her body. Smelled the blood and remaining bits of meat mixed in with the other's scent when she sniffed the other's neck and shoulders. The anticipation felt good. And this one didn't seem as impulsive as she was. Every time she resisted in order to regain dominance, the other pushed her back down to the earth. Now in control, the other didn't need to physically hurt her. She was defeated, and now she was going to be taken.

The other's snout had reached her sex, and a wet nose pressed against her sensitive spot. She tensed up as her system went crazy, sending signals of pleasure up and down her body. She gripped the other's beastly head and pressed her against her body, howling to the moon up above as she begged for the mating ritual to wash away the pain and hunger that plagued her.

She felt the other's fangs graze her folds underneath that bushiest spot of fur between her legs while a wet, pointed tongue sought penetration. The scent of lovemaking emanating from the friction generated by their two bodies down there filled the air, carrying the last, fading hints of their shared meal. The resulting sensation was raw and violent and alluring and irresistible. And she needed to have more of it.

She used her strength to force them to roll around and get back on top of the other. Her partner now lied underneath her as she sat on top of her chest. The moonlight illuminated her face once again, and the anticipating moments without either creature's stimulation made her impatient and wanting. She lowered her tongue onto her mate's snout, licking up the last bits of blood from the fur on her face and awkwardly pressing her lips against the other's, briefly attempting an act of lovemaking that was natural without the full moon but was physically strange with their deformed faces. Not that it was a big problem, smelling the mix of her saliva and the other's, feeling the other's hot breath in her mouth. It tasted of unnatural desire.

Their tongues pressed against each other, rolling around and occasionally grazing their lips, sometimes a cheek where one's fur tickled the other's sensitive taste buds. Her partner yelped, and she felt legs tangle up as they squirmed against each other, both bodies of fur becoming wilder as each creature brushed against the grain of their coats. She knew what the other wanted, seeing it in the other's glowing yellow eyes and feeling it in the deepest recesses of her sex. A gnawing urge that was less hunger and more a primal lust.

Neither beast had the masculine traits for mating, so while their thrusting against each other to this point drove her wild emotionally, they had lacked the natural stimulation until she tucked her deformed hand between their bodies. Pressed this close to each other, their transformed frames had refused to relent being this close together, so when her hand found the spaces between both their furry legs, the rock hard pressure excited them both. She could see it in the other's look of pleasure, a jaw that left itself agape as drool dribbled down the side of her mouth. She inhaled deeply and used her hand to simulate what mating was supposed to feel like. It was no task pleasuring them both, as her hand had grown big enough and rough enough to provide both with the necessary friction to generate wetness and warmth inside her, just as she hoped her partner was experiencing the same.

She had thoughts of inverting her body against her mate's. It was an act that another partner had taught her in her youth, her mouth stimulating his genitalia while his pleasured hers. But the taste of their kill was so invigorating that her face could hardly pull away from licking the other creature's snout, lips and tongue. And the other was so eager to explore new positions with both their mouths pressed together. So it would have to be her clawed hands that excited the other creature's sex. After a while, the other's hand had joined in. The furry patches on the backs of both their misshapen hands tangled up with each other as they pressed each other's sensitive spots.

The simulated bouts of thrusting continued for several moments as they raced toward climax. By now, the other creature had rolled on top of her to bring the lovemaking to its fitting conclusion. The lapping of tongues and the pressing of fingers into each other sped up as a new warmth enveloped both of them. It was a haze that dulled the clarity their senses gave them, illuminated by the full moon above. Everything in her field of vision had blurred with the scent of sex that was so powerful that it almost seemed visible, cutting the air and making it seem filled with smoke. It pressed against her furry body in the spots where her mate wasn't touching her, feeling warm and inviting and rare. She had forgotten the pain of transformation, the slight tinge of guilt she might have had from the kill, the bout of shame connected with the forbidden lust she was feeling now. Most of all, the awkward tension and fear she had been plagued with in the minutes and hours before transformation were now a distant memory. Everything felt so good that none of those sensations mattered. With one last enraged effort at mating, she hoped to wash away all those bad, unwanted feelings, at least for tonight.

"AAAAAArrrrrrooooooOOOOOOOO!"

She felt her thighs clench, forcing hot spunk to shoot out of her and onto their hands. As it coated her fingers, it felt thick and sticky, having more definition than she remembered in all her past, younger experiences in pleasuring herself. And it kept coming, squirting onto her claws and fur in copious amounts as the tension building as mates ground together began to slowly release.

But she realized it wasn't just her own spunk. Her mate was howling too. Long and low and primal. Her juices were mingling together with what she herself had released. Each of her partner's convulsions were accompanied with a new release that slickened both their hands as they were enveloped between each other's bodies. Their fingers interlocked together as best they could without their claws digging into skin. The hot, sticky substance against their skin made their hands feel stuck together for a moment. The sensation made both their creatures howl once again as both bodies relaxed.

Her mate rested on top her as the last bits of climax washed over them. They had released so much that it rendered the fur on both their stomachs and legs unruly and wild. As they grinded against each other, bodies seeking comfort and contentment after mating, the wetness they had released slowly squirmed up and down their bodies.

Instinctively, she took the hand that played with them both to clutch the other's face, incidentally taking in the scent that radiated from between her fingers. Sweetness from their feminine natures mixed in with the dark, powerful musks that their animals had brought. She had the urge to laugh, and it came out as some incoherent wail to her lover, who grunted similar sounds in return.

Then, just as suddenly, when the most pointed bits of pleasure faded into the nighttime air, she noticed that her urges were dormant. The air was still pungent from their mating, coating her in a less intense but still present blanket of warmth that had been at its thickest when the two beasts ravaged each other. It contented her rage, her hunger, her lust, all insatiable but, for the moment, overwhelmed by the passion of two unnatural creatures. Her head grew hazy and heavy. The other beast planted her snout on her neck, licking up the sweat and scent deep beneath her fur. It felt good. Her claws raked the other's hairy back as they embraced, each signaling gratitude to the other as she slowly drifted off to sleep.

Rin found herself pulling hair away from her shrinking frame. The moon had loosened its grip on her half an hour ago, causing her to slowly revert back to normal. For the last mile or two of running around trees and checking if anyone else besides her and that other werewolf was watching, she was this awkward, half-human, half-wolf thing whose more normal features were slowly reasserting themselves. Her claws had dulled and brightened from their sharp, black talons, and her teeth had flattened out. She had the urge to feel them with her fingers every time her gums hurt, and when she did, she could taste last night's lovemaking with...with...her. That other werewolf. She never did get her name. The memory of her own name had just returned to her. Rin. A human thing that she was glad to get back after an evening of forbidden lust and passion.

Still partly wolf, she could smell herself in the air. She tracked her scent back to where she came from. The last bits of her powerful wolf senses began to fade just after she found the pile of clothes she left helplessly on the ground. Her pants would need mending and her top would need to be replaced altogether. She was self-conscious for a moment about putting on her panties, dampened first by her sweat then later by the morning dew. But the growing sense of modesty that her humanity restored in the morning was just too much of an overriding thought.

Rin slowly picked her clothes off the ground and brushed the dirt off them, just as she brushed her fur - her hair - off her skin. Some hair was difficult to remove, as it stuck to her skin by sweat. In places above her breasts, by blood. And down between her legs, by the mating during the full moon. She hurriedly put on her panties and work pants first, wanting to hide the last patches of loose fur from sight. She remembered that the fastener had broken during the transformation, but with a closed zipper, her pants would last long enough to get back to the motel.

Fortunately, the motel key card was in the plastic shopping bag that lay against a tree trunk. No one had came across her possessions. Not her clothes, her key card. Her disposable phone. A phone she was never going to use again. Along with the laptop she bought for this one time. What a dark, forbidden thing she had done! The depths of her depravity were so deep that the warmth in her stomach actually made her feel shameful and remorseful. What would her husband think? Her son? To find out what she really was when she wasn't in control of herself?

She resolved in that moment never to use TransforMate ever again. She was going to have to deal with her lycanthropy in some other way. A cage? Chains against the wall? A secluded place in the mountains? Anything but TransforMate.

Rin walked back out of the woods, and all the way to her motel room door, holding the shopping bag in one hand and the split in her pants where the fastener would have been in the other. She was fortunate to have gotten back inside her room without having to see anyone out and about that morning. Another transformation where no human was hurt. Where no one discovered her. She dropped the shopping bag at the door and sank to the floor in front of the nightstand. Until she had the energy for a shower, dirt and fur and whatever dried fluids clung to her skin could disappear into the carpet to be vacuumed away by housekeeping. An unusually dirty comforter would probably invite questions. And she might need to use this motel again on a future full moon.

She ran her now normal fingers through her hair. The hand that was the instrument of their lovemaking last night was wiped clean as best as possible with the beads of sweat on her naked body when she ran through the woods, reverting back. Still, it had become irritated by the dried layer of spunk that coated her fingers and palm and wouldn't really feel clean without soap and water. For now, she pushed the thought aside as she dug her fingers into her forehead, thinking about what she could do to protect herself next full moon.

The shopping bag across from her vibrated. The phone was ringing.

Rin crawled over to where the bag was sitting. Should she dare answer it? Did she really not want to be drawn in again by the werewolf social network on the dark web?

She picked the phone out of the bag and answered the call, because it was the polite thing to do. She greeted the other werewolf with silence.

"I had a good time too."

The other woman's voice maintained its perkiness from before the full moon.

"I feel so dirty," Rin conceded. She wanted to cry on the phone, lament at how dangerous, how detestable she had become. And how she wouldn't be able to stop herself from doing it again on the next transformation.

"I wish I could tell you that it gets easier. But it is something you'll get used to. And I know you liked it."

"I did at the time. Now I'm just regretting it."

"I hear that a lot too. Trust me. But I promise that regret goes away. The only way we can protect others is to embrace each other. I know you understand this now. In time, you'll accept it."

"How?"

"Just look me up again. Or another werewolf. There are a few others I can recommend. Especially if a group outing is more your style!"

The woman's eagerness crept up a notch past what Rin could easily tolerate. What's more, the other werewolf seemed to notice it.

"I'm sorry, that's for another time. Just think about it, okay? But if you want to hit me up, let me know at least a week before a change, okay? I always try to book meetups. It's no fun transforming alone."

Rin nodded silently. The "alone" part seemed to be something to be afraid of.

"And I know what you're thinking right now," the voice continued, "You will want to change with someone when it happens. I hope for your first time, you'll ask me. It would be such a personal privilege, and we had so much fun, didn't we? You don't have to admit it now. Just keep me in mind, okay?"

Rin nodded again. "Okay," she finally said, and hung up. She was still afraid of her beastly nature, the terrible things she could do while transformed. But that brief conversation made her feel something different. As forbidden as the things she had done the night before, she felt something that wasn't terrible. A sense of...relief? Relief that she wasn't the only one cursed by the full moon. It felt...not terrible to reach out to another werewolf for support. And a willingness, if not eagerness, to do it again. Partly because she needed to. But deep down, in a very dark place that she wasn't ready to express out loud, she wanted to.

The werewolf reached for the laptop, booted it up, and went through the protocol she memorized for accessing TransforMate on the dark web. She briefly paged through the message board for messages by other werewolves logging in to say they were alright, that they got back safe, and to report what the night before had in store for them. As she scrolled through the posts, most of them were about mating. Some were purely about hunting. A few took an almost spiritual take to transformation. But all of them referenced who they were with during the full moon. It was an entire community seeking validation and acceptance from each other in a way that Rin felt that she desperately needed now more than ever.

She thought to post, to join in and announce herself openly as one of the newer werewolves on the site. But that would be for later. For now, she turned to the listings of werewolves, of anonymous and semi-anonymous profiles of those afflicted by lycanthropy just like her. She spent the hours before check-out time searching the listings for werewolves just as new as she was, perhaps newer and less experienced. Just as she found support for her curse last night, maybe there was a werewolf she could help in kind.
