#5 of Don't cry wolf

This is the 5th and final implament of Don't cry wolf, but be warned, it's kind of long. Please comment!

Blitzar sat in the forest, waiting for the Falstrol, "this human thing I still can't get it they don't have anything that's good." Then a loud bird shouted, "ahh, Falstrol there you are." Falstrol dove through the trees and landed in front of him. "Blitzar, you ready? This kind of big but if you succeed it will save both our races and maybe we can live together in harmony." Blitzar stood up, "remember, tell me how many people are there, because humans never come alone." Falstrol nodded "Yeah, see you then." Falstrol took off and started to circle around the park. Blitzar looked at the sky and saw Falstrol then felt the knives, "maybe." Blitzar looked at his watch 10:28, "better go." He walked out of the forest and took a deep breath "I just have a bad feeling."

Herman saw a falcon dive into the forest, then come back out. Herman thought "I wonder if that's him?" The falcon started to circle, "that must be him." He stood there and took a deep breath then looked at his watch 10:28. Herman looked up and he saw somebody walking toward him, he could feel his pulse start to elevate and he started to shake. He talked into his small two-way radio "here he comes, keep your cool." All the snipers switched their sights to him. "Target acquired, waiting for the word." Herman slowly started walking toward his target.

Both Blitzar and Herman came up face to face, "so, um, Blitzar is that your name?" Blitzar quickly eyed Falstrol, "yes." Herman took a good look at Blitzar, "well, you've caused us a lot of trouble and, might I say, you aren't anything like I thought you'd be." Blitzar smiled, "you haven't seen me in action." Herman gave a forced laugh "I guess not." Then Blitzar heard something in his ear Falstrol was talking about how many people were there. "I see 3 snipers and a platoon of men about 10 large." Blitzar nodded, and then he turned to Herman. "You know Herman I have something to show you, but first" Blitzar lowered his head "let me show you my partner." Harman's heart started beating faster, he quietly spoke into his mic "snipers look alive, if you see anything dangerous shoot." Blitzar looked up and raised his hand, "come on down!" Falstrol dove down , the snipers saw him, "men, see that! Keep your eye on it, if it does anything that looks like it might even think about hurting Herman shoot." The snipers watched as Falstrol landed on Blitzars shoulder, Blitzar introduced him. Then Falstrol gave a loud screech, one of the snipers saw this, "he's attacking shoot!" Before Falstrol could finish a loud gunshot sounded through the park. The bulled whizzed past Herman's head and found its self in the body of Falstrol the falcon. He fell off Blitzars shoulder as he fell he whispered "Those bastards, I'll kill them all." Those were Falstrol's last words, Blitzar froze for a fraction of a seconded; blood from his partner, his companion, and his friend hit his face. He turned around and saw Falstrol, covered with his own blood. He looked back around and gave a menacing look at Herman, "you!" Blitzar grabbed the thing that projected his disguise. "I WILL KILL YOU ALL!" He crushed it in his hand, then his actual body began to appear. All the men stood up where they were and watched in awe. Blitzar then used one of his claws and cut his own skin. He grabbed the knives and unsheathed them from their leather protection. Herman gaped at the sight, he ran back to the men. Then turned and pointed to Blitzar "FIRE!"

A sniper shot and the bullet raced toward Blitzar, without even looking Blitzar razed one of his knives and blocked the killer, it bounced harmlessly to the side. Then all at once every one started to fire, Blitzar thought about Falstrol, "this is for you." The rain of bullets met with Blitzar's knives and all bounced off as he walked forward. Herman looked through the hail of bullets, Blitzar continued unharmed, "how is he doing that!" One of the men in the platoon turned around, "he's still coming, what do we do sir!" The platoon leader yelled back, "keep firing!" The man turned around and loaded his weapon, he heard the firing stop, "what are you guy's thinking!" He looked up and aimed down his sight but there was a large animal in front of him, "I think it's because they didn't want to hit you." Blitzar took his knife and swiped it across the soldiers body then ran to the next soldier. Behind him the torso of the man fell off his legs, and the firing resumed. Blitzar jumped above the lead and centered on a target, he threw his knife, it implanted itself in the jugular of the soldier. Blood gushed through the wound; the wolf landed on top of the man and pulled his knife from the body's throat. Then from all sides the soldiers closed in on him with guns and knives. Blitzar gave a toothy evil grin, and then laughed "is it really worth the effort!" He turned to face the other side, "I could kill any of you without a sweat." The platoon leader sure of his team's ability challenged that, "I wouldn't say that too fast, Roller, Jackson get him." Two big men stepped out from the remaining 8, "with pleasure." The two pulled out large military knives, "you may want to just surrender little doggie, what you did was impressive but they were light-weights." Blitzar laughed again "you really think so." He raised both his knives in front of his face "why don't you try me." Roller and Jackson lunged for him swinging their knives at him, Blitzar saw right through it "please, give me a break." He parried the steel blades and in the same action cutting both their arms. The men dropped the knives and held their wrists, blood covering their arms and hands, both knew that within seconds they would lose too much blood. They looked up at Blitzar "goodnight," he walked towered them, both tried to back up but the wolf plunged his weapons right through the heads of the men. They fell with large cracks in their heads.

Herman saw his target kill the two men in the circle, he turned away and vomited. "Who is this guy?!" Blitzar quickly ran to one of the men but he shot his pistol, Blitzar ducked and it hit the man on the other side of the circle. "5 more to go." The wolf grabbed the soldier's arm and broke it with the side of his paw, the firearm dropped from the screaming man, then almost immediately after Blitzar let go of his arm and stabbed him in the heart. Blood gushed through the wound and his mouth then he died. Now with red fur Blitzar turned around and he saw one more man charge at him, with a battle cry the soldier dashed toward Blitzar after he killed his friend, but the wolf side-stepped and held out his knife the soldier ran right into it taking out half his face killing him. Blitzar scoffed, "Three left." The platoon leader in front of him and two others at the side of him, taking both of his knives Blitzar threw them to his sides, they found themselves right between the eyes of the soldiers. As they fell to the ground the red wolf ran at the platoon leader, jumped, pinned him and then tore out his throat with his teeth.

Harman watched in horror as the team got decimated, but as Blitzar got up he got a phone call, it was the blood analysis lab, "sir, don't go near the target, our analysis shows the DNA of all the victims. I don't know who he is but he killed 11 people!" Harman started to worry "um... thanks for that but I think you have your numbers wrong." The person on the other line was confused "no, he killed 11 people you know yourself." Herman answered quickly "no... he's killed 21, ten right in-front of me, now if you excuse me he is after me." The man at the lab looked strangely at the phone, then he punched in 3 numbers 911.

When Herman got off the phone he saw Blitzar walking from three bodies of his sniper team, he has a open mouth smile with blood dripping from his fangs and knives. Herman began backing up, "Um... surely we can come up with a peaceful ending to this, l...l...like you said in your letter!" Blitzar's eyes widened "Peace, why should I give you peace!" Still backing up Herman responded "well at least give me a chance!" Blitzar got furious "DID YOU GIVE FALSTROL A CHANCE." He ran to Herman and stabbed him in the leg. Herman started to cough up blood, "hurry we...we...we can still do something." Just as Blitzar brought up his last knife a lone gunshot sounded, Blitzar felt something go through him, he turned around and saw a sniper struggle with the last of his life holding a gun. He felt up to his stomach, a hole was there. He fell next to Herman, between his labored breathing he heard sirens in the distance and then his eyes closed.

With mighty shock Blitzar's eyes opened, he had a mask on but it didn't quite fit because of his muzzle. People were looking at him, one with a defibulator, another Herman. Blitzar couldn't believe it, "why didn't you kill me." Herman looked down at his past target, "everybody deserves a chance, even you." Blitzar looked closely "why aren't you dead." Again he answered quickly, "stab wounds can be healed quickly but not bullet wounds." There was a bandage on his leg. A fast beeping started from a monitor that showed his heart rate, one of the doctors looked at it, "sir, this keeps happening, he has lost too much blood. He probably won't last 15 minutes." As soon as Blitzar heard the news he reached up and grabbed Herman and brought him closer, "I came here for a reason." Herman looked at him, "what?" Blitzar let his arm down, "Yes, in 5 days a portal will be found that leads to my world, I d...don't have much time to explain but when we meet a war will break out and it will be a bloody stalemate. I was set back through a wormhole to assassinate key targets that will later play an important role in the human war effort. But after killing 11 I began to realize what a mistake this was." Herman interrupted "so you sent me the letter." Blitzar nodded "yes, I set up our meeting so I could tell you this and stop the killing now and later. But then a sniper shot my friend and collogue Falstrol and I got blinded with anger and hate. You see in my world the only type of military we have is the assassin corp. which is just as what the name is. At the beginning of our training we are paired with a falcon as a spotter, the assassin and the spotter develop a strong relationship so when you killed him I had have revenge." Herman nodded, the doctors kept looking at the screens, "I need to tell you, that when you open that gate to our world, try to make friends with us we are actually a very peaceful race a...and...I...don't...want...you...t...t...to live...i...i...in a w...wo...world with that. I s..s..see po...potential i...in the humans." After those words from Blitzar the monitors flat lined and a steady tone filled the room.

** 5 days later**

"Herman, I think we have it!" Herman limped up to a huge glass panel and look through, on the other side men in white lab coats scurried around. Also in the room there were four steel prongs two on the ground in a diagonal position facing in and two others on the ceiling facing inward. "Good! How soon can it be ready?" One of the men on his side looked at a clipboard, "um... five minutes." He went to a keyboard on a control panel and typed some info into the computer, an alarm sounded. Herman watched as all the scientists ran out of the room, as the door closed behind the last one, great balls of light started to grow at the ends of the steel prongs. Then in a blinding flash they all shot forward and converged with each other. All the men shielded their eyes but Herman watched as a small hole appeared in the middle of it, it started to grow. Soon it grew to touch the steel prongs, and in the hole flashes of light burst at random times with a dark blue background. All the scientists were speechless, say for one who kept talking about how improbable it was. Herman keeping his eyes on the portal while he opened the door to the room. A strange eerie quiet filled his ears it made no noise, he reached his head back in the door "hey, get the team outside, tell them no guns, and I mean it no guns." One of the scientists nodded, "sure."

The team stood in the room, it was filled with big burly men who looked like they would kill at first sight, Herman thought to himself "this isn't good." Also there was a coffin and in it Blitzar and Falstrol, Herman took one last look at the men, "O.K this is it and remember no madder how scared or what happens don't endanger anything you meet over there, I can't stress that enough." They all nodded, Herman turned around "o.k. let's go." He took a step in front of the portal, "o.k. here we go." He jumped right in, there was a bright flash and he felt like he was being torn apart. Just as he thought he was going to be torn to pieces he hit the ground and all around him his team hit the ground with the coffin behind them. He stood up, "are we here?" A rustle of leaves made all of them turn around and watch as five wolves materialized from the trees that surrounded them. The men started to shake they had all heard the stories from Herman about Blitzar, they couldn't imagine what five could do. Herman stepped in front of them, "um... hey there, how's it going?" They switched their eyes to the coffin, "what are you doing here, who are you." Herman chose his words wisely he didn't want to make them mad, "uhh...we are Humans, we aren't a danger to you." The one who was standing in front raised his hand just like Blitzar had done and from the clouds descended a falcon, it landed on the wolf's shoulder, "Lonshill, go to the Commander and tell him what's here." The falcon spread his wings took off to do his mission, then the leader spoke again, "I've never heard of humans where do you come from?" Herman pointed to the sky, "we come from a place called Earth, and from here it's another dimension. We created a portal that opened to here; the only way we knew that it came here was from him." All the wolves looked behind him at the coffin, "a crate told you?" Herman slung his head "sadly no, one of your kind told us. Blitzar and his spotter Falstrol told us about you so that a war wouldn't happen between us." Just then a falcon dove down and landed in front of Herman, he looked at him with sad eyes, "did you say Falstrol?" Herman nodded "yeah, he died trying to tell us with Blitzar." Herman watched as the falcon broke into tears "my son dies, my son, can I see him?" Herman nodded, the falcon hopped over to the box as one of the men lifted it. Inside lay both Falstrol and Blizar with their eyes closed and wounds dressed, the Falcon looked at his son and broke down. Then he turned around and yelled at the humans, "what did you do! I do not want my son to die like this, you deserve to die !" The wolves brought up their claws, Herman thought of something quick "hey, hey, hey stop, this is exactly what they came and told us what not to do. We don't want to start a war!" The father of Falstrol flew up in front of the assassins "he's right, after all if that does happen then Blitzar and Falstrol will die exactly the same way and what they did now will not of done anything." The lead wolf nodded his head "yeah, let us not follow our future but our own path." Herman stepped forward "good idea." Herman stuck out his hand, the wolf took it and shook "my name is Alima." Herman shook back "nice to meet you, I'm Herman." Alima laughed "funny name! You guys names are weird."

One year later

A young Blitzar stood in front of a statue with Falstrol on his shoulder; he read the inscription that was on it aloud "this is Falstrol and Blitzar, the ones who saved both our worlds from utter catastrophe, and united us to form the PWP, the parallel world pack." Blitzar looked up at his new found friend, "hey, Falstrol we look pretty good older." Falstrol laughed "yeah, we look very good."
