This was written about a year ago as one of my first ever chapter style works. The idea came from a friend of mine:

Summary:

Tonitrua was in the Lunar Capital on the moon, suddenly, the king was starting to act weird, usually the king loves Tonitrua as if he is his own son, he is being abused and to the point he got thrown off and crash-landed to the Earth (you can stop at this point)

Any critique is appreciated and enjoy.

The Exile by Renviurry Fresdrite

The moon. An empty and lifeless place. But not in this story. Let me tell you about a story of Tonitrua and the Lunar Empire.

A massive wooden door adorned with the symbols of the Lunar Capital and lined with gold is opened by two guards. Tonitrua, the tiger prince of the Lunar Capital, walked through the open doors before the guards closed it and returned to their positions by the door. The tiger was called by his father, the king of the kingdom, as a request to talk to him for an unknown reason.

"Wonder what is my father going to talk to me about?" the royal prince wondered as he strided across the carpeted hallway.

He happily greeted the many servants of their palace as he traveled towards the throne room. The tiger passed through another hallway, which is connected to many rooms such as the dining room and the staircase up to the royal family's rooms, until he reached the area which his father is waiting for him.

The throne room was a vast space lit by the many torches placed on iron handles on the carved stone pillars by the sides. Many statues of great kings and heroes were found on the right and left, made from marble and precious metals. Crimson carpet covered the stone floor below as it reached on the center of the most important figure and object in the room. A raised platform, made from the same stone floor but covered with dark blue carpet, supported the gilded iron throne as the king of the Lunar Capital sat comfortably on it.

Upon reaching a valid distance near the seated tiger, Tonitrua bowed as a sign of respect for his father and the king.

"Rise" the king commanded his bowing son.

The prince did as what he was ordered and waited quietly for the monarch to say what he called him for.

"My son" he began "recently I have heard of you causing some trouble at the palace".

Tonitrua flinched in guilt as he was reminded of the accident he did in the castle's hallways a day ago. His father stayed silent before resuming, an act that made his son squint in suspicion as he never stops in his speakings.

"For that, you shall be punished with no food for a week" his father said in a loud voice to fully emphasize what he said to his son.

The tiger was shocked by what his father said as he never gave out a punishment this severe.

"But father, that's too bad!" he cried out in a surprised manner.

"Silence! For complaining about your punishment, it shall be extended for 2 weeks!" the king shouted as he slammed his fist on the armrest of the metal throne, slightly cracking it.

Tonitrua went speechless at what his father did to him, he gulped his anger and waited for him to speak again.

"That will be all, dismissed" the king slouched back on the throne, in an unkinglike manner.

The prince walked outside of the throne room, into the hallway, and up the stairs back to his bedroom. He did not greet the servants on the way to his personal room. Opening the door, he closed it and flopped on his blue bed to get some rest.

"What happened to my father? He isn't this bad..." was all he thought of before drifting to sleep.

8 hours passed while the prince slept, dreaming of food and drinks as he wasn't allowed to eat earlier. The palace's servants noticed that their king has been acting strange lately. He was seen shifting uncomfortably in his throne, as if he is anxious of something, and refused to eat the food prepared for him, his reason being that he wasn't hungry despite the fact they heard his stomach growling. They gossiped about his weird habits throughout the palace.

"Have you heard about the king? I heard him talk but nobody was around!" the dishwasher whispered to the other dishwasher as she dried the wet dishes.

"The king just punished his son badly. Won't you believe it? Two weeks without food!" a guard talked to his fellow soldiers in the barracks.

"Yeah, I even heard him through the hallways" another guard, who was positioned by the entrance of the palace, said to him.

A rumor spreaded around the castle that the king was possessed by an evil spirit, but like all rumors, it was false despite the many evidences. What a bad night our dear prince will wake up to.

"Mmm, lunar cupcakes, mmm" Tonitrua drooled on his pillow before biting it, pretending it's the cupcake.

Suddenly, the alarm clock on his bedside table rang, the metal bar hitting the iron bells beside it and making a huge racket.

The young tiger immediately opened his eyes and almost fell off his bed which made his heart beat fast as he grabbed on the sheets to not fall off. He was awaked by the sudden exercise he was given and smacked the noisy device, shutting it down and nearly smashing it. He jumped off his bed, stood up, and yawned as he stretched his sleepy arms.

"What a wonderful start of the night" he sarcastically thought to himself while he paced to his wardrobe and dressed himself up.

The door opened and out came the prince, dressed up in casual yet noble clothes before he descended the stone stairs. He reached the first floor of the castle, looking around and seeing nobody is around, he decided to sneak to the kitchen and grab something to eat. With a rumbling stomach, he ran to the entrance of the kitchen before stopping and hiding behind the wall. He sneakily tiptoed his way to the fridge and opened it. Inside it was an assortment of food ranging from delicious desserts, fulfilling meals and little snacks.

"Smells so good!" Tonitrua thought to himself as he licked his dry lips before grabbing a grape soda and a slice of chocolate cake.

Placing the plate of sweet pastry on the kitchen table, he sat on the plastic chair and opened his grape soda. He drank a little of the carbonated drink before using a fork to take a piece of the cake and eat it. The tiger purred in delight as the chocolate goodness exploded in sweetness in his taste buds and fill up his empty stomach. Quickly eating the rest of the slice, he drank the rest of his drink and let out a burp. He wanted to have more, so he went back to the fridge and took the whole cake for him to eat. The hungry prince grabbed his fork and began gobbling all of the cold baked goods. Bits of chocolate flew out of the table as brown frosting stuck on the mouth of the king's son when he finished eating.

Tonitrua let out another burp, this time much louder than the one he did before, as he sat back on the chair, feeling satiated from what he consumed. A loud stomping can be heard near him but he was too busy relaxing from his fulfilling meal to notice it.

"You're coming with me!" said someone in a piercing voice as Tonitrua's arm was grabbed by a rough hand.

He snapped his head toward the mysterious intruder and saw that it was his own father dragging him away from the kitchen. The sudden action caught the prince off guard as he thought it was impossible for his old man to be able to drag him with such strength. Struggling to remove the strong hand from gripping his arm but failing, he was dragged out of the kitchen and into the castle's balcony.

A circular golden frame decorated with blue crystals and mysterious symbols stood before the two in the stone terrace. The king threw the prince near the portal as he landed on his back. While the tiger is recovering from his fall, the monarch ran to the control panels next to the structure and hastily typed in something. Blue crystals floated near the edge of the frame before positioning above the center of it and slamming down. A transparent blue liquid flowed out of the framework and formed a curtain, flowing slightly as if in the wind. Just as Tonitrua was standing up, his father grabbed him by the hem of his shirt and lifted him with unusual strength.

"Goodbye *prince*" was all the tiger heard of his father as he chucked him to the blue portal.

He felt a coldness spread throughout his body as he shot of the portal and out of the balcony. The inky blackness of space soon surrounded him as he knew he was leaving the moon and his home. He looked forward and saw his destination, a blue orb full of life called Earth. As soon as he entered the planet's atmosphere, the cold feeling faded and was replaced by warmth. A grand view of the planet's continents and oceans greeted him before he felt the warmth increase into a fiery sensation.

"So, this is how I will die..." was all he thought of before he saw he is about to crash into what seems to be a huge mass of greenery and blacked out.
