#11 of Andlat

Andlat is walking through the forest in his favorite hoodie when a wolf asks him to help him find his missing wallet. Andlat's a helpful young fox, so he readily agrees, but he soon finds himself in the wolf's lair. Will he be able to escape the wolf's devious mind games?

Andlat pulled his hoodie over his head as a cool breeze approached him through the leaves of the trees. He shivered all the same, wondering for a moment why no one had invented clothes for tails. Then again, he had such a magnificent, handsome brush that he would not want to cover it up.

"It's a nice day for a walk." Andlat remarked to himself. He suddenly heard a sound and looked around. It sounded like someone was coming closer. Andlat knew that the forest path was fairly well-traveled, so it was not completely out of the ordinary for someone to be coming down the path, but he did not see anyone coming.

"Must just be my imagination." Andlat said, although he did not quite believe it. He began to walk again, pretending like he was not walking just a bit faster than he had before. He spied a stick nearby that was the perfect length to be a sword, so he immediately picked it up and gave it a few practice swings. "Perfect." Feeling a little less unnerved now that he had his sword, he continued to walk through the downright picturesque forest.

"Excuse me?" A voice said behind him. Andlat spun around to see a dapper wolf standing behind him, wearing a suit. "Young lady?" The fox's ears stood up. Who was he talking to?

"Me?" Andlat said.

"Yes." The wolf replied, stepping closer.

"I'm not a lady." He said, wanting to be polite, but still correct the wolf's mistake.

"Oh! My mistake!" The wolf said, looking genuinely apologetic. "Well then, young mister fox then."

"Can I help you?"

"I think so." The wolf replied with an enigmatic smile. "It seems that I dropped my wallet. Would you mind helping me find it?" The fox was hesitant. He knew better than to wander off the path with a stranger. The wolf sensed his reservation. "Oh, do you need to hurry home to your mommy? I wouldn't want to keep you and make her worry!"

"I can help." The fox said at once, quickly tossing his stick sword aside. He was too big for such things. The wolf brightened.

"Oh, good! I know it was around here somewhere." He led the fox off of the forest path, pointing around the bushes. "You're small enough to squeeze through there, I think. Give it a try." Andlat got down on all fours and pushed into the bushes.

"I don't see anything." He said. He stiffened as he felt the wolf's paws on his waist as he pulled him out.

"Sorry. Thought you were stuck." The wolf said warmly.

"I was a little bit, I guess..." The fox mumbled bashfully. The wolf chuckled.

"You don't have to indulge me." He said, reaching over and tousling the fox's hair. "Let's keep looking. Up you come!" Andlat's legs dangled in the air as the wolf lifted him up a bit higher than he needed to, almost begrudgingly putting him down on his feet. "Maybe it's over here." The wolf said. Andlat followed, rather puzzled by the wolf's behavior.

They walked in silence for a bit, Andlat looking back and forth on the ground, trying to find the wolf's wallet. He was so focused on that that he completely missed the root sticking out of the ground and he tripped. He was unlucky enough to end up tumbling down a small hill and right into a puddle that soaked him to the fur.

More than anything, it was Andlat's pride that was bruised. The wolf hurried down the small hill, concern written all over his face.

"Oh, dear!" He exclaimed, helping Andlat out of the puddle. "You took quite the tumble, didn't you?"

"Yeah, I guess." Andlat said, still a bit embarrassed that he had tripped over the root.

"I live not far from here." The wolf replied. "Let's get you dried off." True to his word, the wolf's house was only a short distance away. It was a sweet little house with colorful flower boxes in front and a fresh coat of blue paint. The wolf smiled at the sopping wet fox as they stopped at the door.

"I just cleaned my house, so we can't have you tracking mud in there." The wolf said. "You'll have to get undressed here."

"What?" Andlat was certain that he had not heard the wolf correctly.

"Get undressed. You haven't got anything I haven't seen before, I assure you. Besides, the bathroom isn't far from the door, so you can dash straight there to get cleaned up."

"I" the fox said nervously. "I'm not so sure..."

"Would it make you feel better if I closed my eyes?" The wolf kneeled down again to look the fox in the eyes.

"I think so." The wolf smiled and indulged the fox by closing his eyes. Andlat timidly lifted his shirt over his head. The wolf, sensing that the fox's paws were occupied, seized his opportunity to nudge the fox into further embarrassment. True to his word, he kept his eyes closed as he reached out and yanked down the fox's pants and underwear in one fell swoop. Andlat yelped and covered himself as the wolf chuckled. "Let's get the door unlocked." He reached into his pocket and fumbled with his keys as the fox stood there, completely naked and feeling more exposed by the moment. "Aha!" The wolf exclaimed, finding the right key. He stuck it into the lock and wiggled it. "Sorry, this old lock can be finicky." He said, looking over his shoulder at the very timid little fox. "There we go!" He threw the door open and stepped aside. "Bathroom's first door on the left. Everything you need's in there." Keeping his paws over his groin, Andlat ran as fast as he could.

Closing the door, he looked around the bathroom. Everything seemed ordinary. Sink, tub, toilet, fluffy towels hanging on a rack. He turned on the water and studied the fixture for a moment, trying to determine how to turn the shower itself on. The door opened and the wolf came strolling in. He had removed his suit jacket and had the sleeves of his shirt rolled up.

"Oh, you've got the tub started already!" He said as the fox stared at him. The wolf put the stopper in the drain and grinned at him.

"Actually," the fox said, clearing his throat to try to bring his voice into a mature octave. "I was planning to take a shower."

"Oh." The wolf said. Grabbing a pink plastic bottle, he poured two capfuls of a pink liquid into the water. A plethora of pink, floral scented bubbles began to form on the surface of the water. "I think you'll find a bath much more relaxing." He said. "But, if you really want to take a shower" his voice trailed off.

"I do." Andlat replied. The wolf smiled at him.

"The tub's nearly full. You should've said something sooner." The fox stared at him in confusion, but the wolf pretended not to notice, turning off the water and testing it with a finger. "All we're missing is one little" he saw the fox's face. "I mean, one very mature young fox." Andlat knew he was fighting a losing battle, so he climbed over the side of the tub, blushing as he felt the wolf's paw on his bottom to help him over. Almost as soon as Andlat got situated in the warm, bubbly water, the wolf had wet a washcloth and began to bathe the fox. Andlat tried to protest, but he could not find the words for some reason and ended up only whimpering. "Shh." The wolf said as he washed the fox's back. "It'll go more quickly if I do it for you, kiddo."

"But"

"Yep." The wolf said, cutting him off. "I'll get to your butt in a minute, cutie."

"That's not what I - hey!" The fox tried to bat the wolf's paw away as he started to wash his privates, but the wolf just gently pulled his paws away and resumed what he was doing.

"Gotta get you squeaky clean everywhere." He said cheerfully. "I've had lots of practice with those bits, silly. You're in good paws." He winked roguishly at the fox, who was reduced to blushing and stammers.

Before Andlat even knew what was happening, the wolf had plucked him from the tub and wrapped him in a soft, fluffy towel.

"I don't need help." The fox whined, but the wolf did not seem to hear him. Rubbing the fox down, he set him against his shoulder and carried him out of the bathroom. "Where are we going?"

"You'll see!" The wolf said in cheerful sing-song. Andlat did not like the sound of that one bit. His fears were confirmed as the wolf carried him into a nursery decorated in pink and white.

"What are we doing here?" Andlat asked. The wolf just smiled and set him down on a padded table. "No, I don't need a diaper!"

"I didn't say you did." The wolf replied, surprised. "But if you insist"

"I don't." The wolf chuckled.

"That's what I thought. I'm just getting the towel resituated." He unfolded the towel before wrapping it quite snugly around the fox, pinning his arms to his sides. Andlat whimpered and struggled, trying to get his arms free, but the wolf had swaddled him too well. "There we go." The wolf said, leaning down and nuzzling the fox. "All snug as a bug in a rug!" He picked the swaddled fox up and carried him out of the nursery. Andlat hoped that he would never return to that girly nursery, but he had a sneaking suspicion it was pointless to hope that.

The wolf carried his captive fox into the kitchen and set to work heating up a bottle of milk. With the wolf focused on that, Andlat tried again to wriggle free, but the wolf just chuckled and rocked him gently back and forth.

"I don't want a bottle."

"That's enough with your fussing." The wolf said. "You need your baba to grow up big and strong. Don't you want to be big and strong like me?"

"Let me go!" The fox's demands were cut short as the wolf plunged the nipple of the bottle into his mouth.

"There we go" the wolf cooed. "Drink up all your milk, little one. Calm down and drink." Andlat tried to resist, but he really did not have much choice. Rolling his eyes and grumbling, he reluctantly sucked on the bottle. "What a good little kit." The wolf praised, continuing to gently rock the fox. As Andlat drank the warm milk, he could feel his eyelids growing steadily heavier. He tried to force his eyes as wide as they could go, but it proved too much and his eyes closed just as he finished the bottle and the wolf moved the swaddled fox to his shoulder for a quick burping.

The moment that Andlat came to, he could tell that something was amiss. His mouth tasted like rubber and he felt something round on his tongue. He used his tongue to push it out of his mouth and looked at the pacifier as it tumbled off to one side. He could move his arms again, but he felt thick material around his paws. He gasped as he saw a pair of thick pink mittens on his paws, which matched both the booties on his feet and the frilly dress he wore.

"And of course" he muttered as he lifted the skirt of the dress to see just what he expected he would find, a thick diaper between his thighs, covered by a pair of frilly pink rhumba plastic panties. He hardly even blinked at the crib bars around him. He would deal with those in a moment. First things first.

He growled and bit down on one of the mittens, yanking as hard as he could to try to get his paw free. Frustrated, he tried the other one and even considered trying to get his booties off, but none of them seemed to budge even a bit. With a growl, he tried each of them again, with no luck.

His head snapped toward the door as he heard it open and he saw the wolf walk in with a big grin on his face.

"Look who's up from her nap."

"Let me go." The fox tried to sound as stern and serious as he possibly could, but it did not seem to faze the wolf one bit.

"Tell you what," the wolf said, leaning over the side of the crib. "I'm a reasonable wolf. Let's make a deal. If you can tell me my name, I'll let you go."

"Like Rumplestiltskin?" The wolf smiled and tickled the fox's tummy.

"Of course my baby girl knows her fairy tales."

"You never told me your name." Andlat retorted, batting the wolf's paw away.

"I didn't, did I?" The wolf said, smacking his forehead. "Silly me! I'm so forgetful." He smiled down at the fox, picking up the pacifier and teasing his lips with its bulb. "Do you want to know my name?" He said in a cutesy voice.

"Yes."

"Ask me nicely." The fox rolled his eyes.

"What's your name?"

"What's the magic word?" Andlat knew from the wolf's grin that he had something planned, but playing along seemed like the only way to get out of his current predicament.

"Please tell me your name."

"Since you asked so nicely, I suppose I don't have much choice, do I?" The wolf lowered the side of the crib and picked the fox up. He kissed his forehead as Andlat's legs dangled and then whispered. "You can call me Daddy."

"That's not" the wolf seized his opportunity and returned the pacifier to the little fox's mouth.

"The only name you need to know, baby girl, is Daddy."

"Notta girl!" Andlat insisted, trying to spit out the pacifier. The wolf kept his finger on it and chuckled at the fox's antics. "Imma boy!"

"Emma boy?" The wolf said, looking down at him. "Emma's a girl's name, sweetie. Since you have a girl's name, you must be Daddy's baby girl." He could see the fox about to argue again. "Hush. You're forgetting that Daddy gave you your bath and put you in your diaper. He knows you're a little baby vixen kit." He walked over to the mirror and showed the fox his reflection. Andlat growled and, spitting out the pacifier, looked up at the wolf.

"You've had your fun or whatever. Let me go! I'm late for an appointment in town."

"Daddy would be more than happy to take Baby Emma on a walk through town." The wolf said cheerfully.

"I'm not baby Emma!" The wolf sighed and, bending at the knees, retrieved the pacifier.

"That's enough baby babbles for now, Emma." The wolf said. "You need to realize that Daddy knows best." He checked the fox's diaper before continuing. "If Daddy says you're a little baby vixen kit, that's what you are. Baby girls are too little to decide for themselves, so that's why Daddy's here, to keep his baby Emma dressed in frilly dresses, to keep Emma well fed so all she has to worry about is being Daddy's baby girl." As the fox growled, the wolf calmly kissed his forehead. "I think a walk through the woods sounds perfect." He said softly. "Let's go get you into your fancy new baby carriage, hmm?" He saw the fox about to spit out the pacifier again and tsked. "Emma, if you spit your pacifier out one more time, Daddy will have to punish his baby girl and I don't think you want to find out how Daddy will punish you." He grinned as the fox paused. "Now, promise Daddy that you'll be a good baby girl." The fox remained silent, but the wolf reasoned that that was close enough, at least for now.

Humming a soft lullaby, he carried the fox out of the nursery and into the living room, where he had already set up one of his personal favorite items of the fox's new life: a white, frilly baby carriage.

"Baby carriage or pram?" The wolf mused as he set the fox into it. "I go back and forth, honestly." He looked down at Andlat before snapping his fingers. "Emmakit! You're not presentable yet!" He quickly turned away and left the room, leaving the fox in the baby carriage. He had to grab the bonnet to complete the fox's ensemble, but more than that, he wanted to test the fox's determination to escape.

Andlat sat up to confirm that the wolf was gone. He had to do something! There was no way on earth that he was going to stay here and let the wolf make him into a dumb, frilly baby girl! He peered over the side, gauging just how far of a fall it would be. It did not seem like much, especially with the carpeted floor down below. Almost bashfully, he realized that he still had the pacifier in his mouth, so he spat it out to see how far down it really was. He gathered his confidence and climbed over the side, falling to the floor with an oomph!

He felt a swell of pride and stood up, yelping more loudly than he would have liked as he immediately fell onto his amply padded bottom. The diaper was thicker than he had expected, but he had no chances of getting it off with his mittened paws. He tried again, but fell. With an annoyed growl, he crawled over to the nearby coffee table and used it to stand. How long had the wolf been gone? He froze. He had no chance of getting over to the door in his present state, let alone turning the knob, but he had to do something. Anything.

Thinking quickly, Andlat hurried over to the couch, not even caring that he was crawling along the floor like the baby the wolf thought he was. He slipped behind it, satisfied that the wolf would never be able to find him here before he could come up with a plan.

Andlat sat there, alternating between holding his breath and breathing as lightly as he can to avoid detection. He heard the wolf come back into the living room.

"Where has baby Emma gone?" The wolf announced loudly. The fox remained silent. "I was just about to feed her candy and other yummy things." Andlat's ears perked up before he could stop himself, but he realized it was a trap. "Is baby Emma under her baby carriage? Is she on the ceiling?" Andlat rolled his eyes. The wolf was being blatantly silly, obviously, but he would not laugh at his silliness. "I guess she's playing hide and seek. Where could my baby vixenkit be?" Andlat smirked. It would take him a while to find the fox. "There you are!" The wolf poked his head over the back of the couch. He had made a beeline right for the fox's hiding place! But how had he known?

Noticing the fox's confusion, the wolf chuckled as he extracted him from behind the couch, dusting off his dress a bit as he carried him back toward the baby carriage.

"I don't think you realize just how strongly you smell like baby powder, Emmakit." He explained, setting the fox on his back in the carriage. "Daddy could have found his baby girl even if he had a blindfold on!" He smiled and ran a ribbon over the fox's tummy, securing him into the carriage. "Don't want baby Emma tumbling out. Peter Pan only wants Lost Boys!" He reached down and tickled under the fox's chin.

He smiled sweetly as he gently lifted the fox's head and slipped the bonnet over it. He hummed as he tied the ribbon under the fox's chin in a big bow.

"Baby Emma should get used to smelling like baby powder. Yes, she should!" The wolf cooed. "Do you know why, baby Emma?" The fox shook his head, grumbling as the lace frill of the bonnet flopped cartoonishly. "So precious." The wolf said happily. "Well, even after Daddy potty trains you into big girl panties, he's still going to rub you with baby powder each and every morning!" The fox whimpered. "Oh, don't worry, Daddy's not planning on potty training his little Emma for a very long time. In fact," he grinned a predatory grin. "You look so precious with your puffy baby vixen panties that Daddy might just keep baby Emma a sweet baby girl for forever and ever and ever!"

"Please, let me go." The fox mumbled around the pacifier. "You know I'm a boy!"

"No, no. All Daddy knows is that you're a sweet baby girl. Your name is Emma, after all!" He chuckled as the fox indignantly spat out his pacifier once again.

"I am a boy! My name's Andlat!" He struggled valiantly, but could not get out of the baby carriage.

"Well, let's consider this, hmm? When I left you alone, did you rip off your pretty baby girl clothes and run away? Nope, you stayed in them and hid in a hiding place that only a very little kit would think is a good hiding place." The fox stammered, trying to explain himself.

"These mittens" was all he was able to get out. The wolf chuckled again.

"I'm sure a clever big boy could get out of them, but you ran into a problem, didn't you? You realized, deep down, you love being Daddy's baby girl, you love feeling like a pretty princess prissy panties, don't you?"

"That's not true!" The wolf shrugged.

"The fact of the matter is, even if you don't like it, which I doubt" he paused and teased the fox's lips with the pacifier. "You better learn to because you're Daddy's baby girl now. Before you know it, you'll forget about ever even thinking you were a big boy because, what choice will you have?" He smiled and, slipping the pacifier fully into the fox's mouth, began to push the stroller along. "It's a nice day for a walk, hmm?"
