Ruth sat in the uncomfortable office chair - a chair clearly designed for humans, and not a five foot-three inches tall anthropomorphic Eastern Grey Kangaroo. Her tail ached miserably. But she pushed aside the distractions as her black gloved paw reached up and tugged at the tight, confining neckline of the bodice she wore. Her long, tubular ears lay back against her neck, affixed with a ornate silver ear clasp - but this didn't prevent her from hearing the sounds of mechanical keyboards, phone calls and a cacophony of her co-workers talking in their own cubicles.

Ruth's claws clicked against the hard plastic of the keyboard, as words appeared on the screen before her, before she paused and rubbed at her dark brown eyes with the leathery pads of her palms. With a glance at the desktop, Ruth sighed inwardly as she stretched languidly and contemplated a bowl of coffee - anything to break up the monotony of the office clerical work that kept piling up in her inbox.

"A doe's work is never done - " Ruth sighed and took a moment to take a deep breath of exasperation and discomfort.

Standing, Ruth smoothed down the bodice she wore, her three toed feet long and slender as she stretched and her spine crackled alarmingly, before she winced and reached back, her paws rubbing at her lower back. Taking the specially designed bowl, Ruth made her way quietly down the narrow path between the cubicles and into the staff room. Here, she set her bowl down on the counter and turned on the coffee machine - listening to the grind of the coffee beans as they dropped through it Ruth's pale furred nostrils flared, as she inhaled the smell of the freshly roasted Arabica beans and she sighed in pleasure.

Coffee was one of her guilty pleasures, but Ruth kept herself in good physical shape, and as the coffee began to bubble and filter, she ran her slender paws down her body, from the throat to the waist, priding herself on her physique and appearance. Raising one slender foot, Ruth looked down at the dark fur that covered it, the long mid-foot talon freshly painted and glistening, before she checked the other one. Satisfied her hind foot claws were clean and well groomed, Ruth leaned back against the counter and sighed, her eyelids sliding closed as she took a moment to rest and try to revitalise her mind and body.

After a few moments, the coffee maker beeped, dragging Ruth out of her light doze and she come too with a snort, blinking her eyes and trembling from ears to toes, before she turned about and placed her bowl under the coffee makers spout and a claw tapped the button, watching as the black gold dribbled into the bowl - the sensual pleasure of the scent making Ruth tilt her head back and inhale deeply. Just as she was about to reach for the bowl, Ruth gasped, feeling strong, furred paws encircle her waist and slide under her blouse - then tickle lightly across the tightly closed pouch.

"Mmm - " Come a soft breath against her back-swept ears. "Nice and warm, just the way I like my doe's -"

Ruth blinked, then when she felt her heart climb back down out of her throat, she twisted her head about and looked sideways, into the ice blue eyes of a lop eared rabbit, who grinned and kissed her on the cheek.

"Steve, I swear - " Ruth squeaked, then closed her mouth and shivered.

"Sure, sure - " Steve sniggered as he turned her about, his hands sliding out from under her blouse, then gripping her waist and pulling her close against him. "What is my little joey going to do?"

Ruth stared into her partners eyes, her own narrowing, before she leaned back on her tail, placing a long slender foot against his shirt, then gripped his shoulders with her paws.

"Try me - " Ruth growled, but there was no malice in her voice, to which Steve merely chuckled and gently lowered Ruth's foot paw back to the floor and kissed her throat.

"Oh, I intend too my love," Smirked the Rabbit, a gleam in his pale eyes. "Multiple times and multiple ways - how about here and now?"

Ruth blinked, then laughed delicately, before she nipped his shoulder and wrapped her paws around his back, squeezing him gently.

"You got a one track mind - besides, I'd rather we take our time and enjoy it my beloved, not go at it like a pair of feral rabbits!"

Steve leaned back, his long ears hanging down his back, before he favoured her with a hurt look, before he chuckled and crouched slightly, sliding his paws under her skirt and trailing the short, blunt claws up her thighs, then gently tickling the lace panties. Ruth gasped and twitched, her head tilting back before she slapped a long foot on the floor and nipped him again.

"Stop that!" Ruth barked, before she pushed him away, her breath catching in her throat. "No fraternising at work, you know the rules love."

"Bah, you're no fun!" Steve grumbled, then again pulled her close and held her in his strong, masculine grip, feeling the young kangaroo trembling. "I'll be a good buck, and try to keep my paws off this sweet, gentle young doe - but when we get home tonight, I can't promise anything!"

Ruth stared into his eyes, before she laughed delicately, pulling his head close and licking him on the forehead.

"No teasing me so love, you know how easily I get -" Ruth railed off, and Steve laughed quietly, as he watched the kangaroo's inner ears start turning crimson as she blushed.

Steve gently reached up and cupped Ruth's left ear, licking intimately along the cup of the ear, then down the other side feeling Ruth begin gasping and squirming, her heart beginning a thundering beating against Steve's chest.

"I don't...no, stop..." Ruth panted, her paws trembling against Steve's back, her breathing causing her nostrils to flare.

"You want me to stop?" Steve murmured, as he began licking again. "Make me..."

Ruth trembled helplessly, Steve knowing her weaknesses and he knew how to fully exploit them. Of course, Ruth didn't mind - most of the time - and it was doing wonders for dragging her mind away from the mountain of work that awaited her, then she gasped and twitched - before Steve raised an eyebrow and chuckled, feeling a distinct growing lump beneath Ruth's skirt.

"My, my, my -" Steve whispered into Ruth's ear. "Good to see I haven't lost my touch with you."

"Damn you Steve - " Ruth panted, clinging to her lapine lover and shivering. "I swear, I'm about two seconds from teaching you why its not wise to arouse a kangaroo -"

"Promise?" Steve smirked, then again reached under Ruth's skit and trailed his fingers lightly over the straining panties, feeling the quivering penis striving for release from the tight confines. "I'm not adverse to getting my buck off - or my doe - this is what I love most about you my love, I'm truly blessed to have you as my mate and my partner!"

With supreme effort, Ruth exerted her self control and shivered from neck to toes again, before she sharply nipped Steve's right ear tip, making him yelp.

"Enough, please - " Ruth grunted, as she struggled to bring her breathing to normal, then smiled weakly and licked her lovers forehead again. "I do not - not - want your affections my love, but this is neither the time nor the place."

Looking hurt, but with a cheeky grin, Steve smiled and withdrew his paws, before he cupped Ruth's chin with them and kissed her pale furred nose. "Of course my love, can't blame a lucky rabbit buck for trying though, can you?" Ruth snorted through her nostrils, her eyes narrowing as she swatted Steve on the rump, then for good measure, gave his cotton-like tail a sharp tweak.

"Get back to work," Ruth sighed, as she turned around and finished preparing her coffee.

Steve left the staff room, a light step in his pale foot paws, as he chuckled and glanced over his shoulder, before the door closed, tipping a wink to Ruth, who shook her head and sighed in exasperation and more than a hint of love, before she looked down and smoothed out her skirt, thankful she was wearing that, and not the slacks she had originally planned for today.

"Damn rabbits - " Ruth muttered in frustration, as she picked up her coffee bowl and made her way back to her desk.
