A kobold strives for greatness, at mild cost.
~ The kobold's gaze did not leave the screen, patches of colors glistening in the reflected glow of his scales. His hands and fingers were a nimble blur across the controls, his focus entirely muting out the mixture of music, yelling, and other sundry distractions.
~ The proofreading of his report on gryphon suffrage, due the next morning and comprising of seven pages with three more pages of diagrams and citations, could wait until even later into the night.
~ Of all of them in the arcade, this cabinet needed a new champion; and this particular kobold's supply of quarters answered the call.
