(First story in a long time! The places mentioned are not real((other than L.A. and LAX)) My story, you can post it anywhere if you want, as long as I am accredited for being the creater. Other than that, enjoy the intro to a newer series! :D)

'Logan...Logan.' A voice barely above a whisper lingered in Logan's thoughts as he slept through a subconscious state of mind, a pre-medative state. Here, Logan would begin thinking about things he didn't notice about during his conciousness. In this subconciousness, people tend to ask themselves questions they wouldn't think they had to ask themselves.

'You're gay, why don't you just tell everyone? Tell your friends, your family, tell everyone.'

Logan awoke from the whispers, sighing in agreement with his subconcious mind. He took a breath and just whimpered.

"How can I tell everyone? Is it possible? *Sigh* I guess I'm going to have to do it gently." He stretched and slipped on some furry warm slippers as he made his way to his restroom, the slippers preventing the cold floor to touch his bare feet.

He did his regular routine, shower, shampoo, brush teeth, scrub face with natural face scrub, comb hair, deodorant, cologne. He dried himself off and slipped on his wardrobe, a purple shirt with black skinny jeans, white shoes and a tight black vest. He combed his bangs and headed off to the kitchen. He tipped toed down the stairs, the antique floors from a house made in the early 1850's creaked. He made it to the kitchen and lit it with dim lights that flickered calmingly. He read the note left on the fridge by his mom.

"Logan sweetie, I hope you have a good day at school; I'm sorry that we're moving, but you know that my boss doesn't care. I just want to let you know that I love you very much, say goodbye to all your friends and get a copy of your grades. I hope you can forgive me, but at least we're moving to a more tranquil place, L.A is a bit too busy for a valley girl for me. However, I promise that Thousand Oaks will be calming for you as well, you've seemed stressed lately. Thousand Oaks is beautiful, trust me. I left you some pictures on the countertop and there's also a picture of my best friend who is going to meet with you and Jason at the airport at 9pm when you're at Thousand Oaks. She's the lady with her son, Tyler. There's some eggs and hash browns along with freshly squeezed o.j. Well, be ready for the relaxation trip of your life. - Love always, Mom."

Logan groaned when he finished reading the letter, he hated how his mom made him feel guilty, even though she wasn't trying to. He wasn't fond of the idea of leaving, he's grown as a city boy but now he's gotta leave all that behind and become a valley boy. He got the orange juice and left the eggs and hashbrowns for his older brother, Jason, to eat. He took a sip of the orange juice and was shocked to see that it tasted so good. What shocked him more was when he noticed it wasn't store bought and he knew this by reading the note his mom had left on the side of the jar that said "freshly squeezed by the Valley Girl herself." He was surprised that he didn't know this part of his mom, he had told her she was born in Thousand Oaks, but moved to L.A. when she was relatively young. He sighed as he heard the bus honk for him. He grabbed the pictures on the countertop, then his bags and looked at the somewhat emptied apartment and teared a little. He walked downstairs from the apartment, the dimlighted hallways and tagged walls created a urban look and feel to it. Logan knew he was going to miss all the tags and stuff like that. He took pictures of things that he might need to reminisce. He walked out and slammed the door to close it correctly. He hopped on the bus and took a seat where he always sat, where his friends would come rushing over to talk to him about problems and gossip. It was relatively quiet so he thought that he'd take a glimpse of where he was going to live from now on. He flipped through the pictures, his breath being taken away from every single one. In one, there was a view of a town from the top of a mountain, the grass yellow and the sky seemed endless. He flipped and saw the picture of a creek, the water flowing softly and the flowers bent slightly, imposing a slight breeze was occuring during the photoshoot. Logan saw a picture of a lady Wolf, in her mid 30's, along with a wolf much taller and very muscular with attractive features standing alongside. Axel was captivated by the wolf, wondering and also hoping that this was Tyler.

Axel jumped off the bus and went through the metal detector in his school and the thing went off, as usual. He took off his piercings and removed his backpack to be scanned as well. He passed through again and grabbed all his stuff and put the piercings back. He waved to most of his friends and made it to the counselors office. He grabbed a transcript of his grades since freshman year, since he was a sophomore. He had to get it signed by his teachers and they had to write a comment about him and his behavior. Axel went to his second through fifth periods, English, History, Biology, and Geometry. They had all wrote very good things about him, some saying that he was a good kid, though he struggled a little in comprehension of the subject, but needless to say, he was very intelligent.

He smiled and went to his table where he sat at for lunch. He was very popular and was greeted by many football players, wrestlers, and many other kinds of people. Most of the unpopular people were either envious or sad that Logan never noticed them. He did notice them, but he was always busy doing something, or trying to talk to 10 different people at the same time. There were some people that he particulary liked to talk to.

One of which was Biggie, the huge bear quarterback for the football team. You would've thought that he would be loud and popular, but in fact, he was quiet and shy, even though the football team tried to make him social by taking him to parties. Another person was Effie, the cheerleader rabbit who was beautiful, but also very shy. He liked talking to them because he liked making people talk, especially shy people. He sat at the table where people were considered outcasts. He smiled as he walked to the table and saw Effie and Biggie. The two smiled and greeted Logan with a wave of their paws.

"Hi guys, thanks so much for being my friends these two years." Logan said saddened by the thought of moving away from the two.

"We'll miss you Logan. Don't be sad though, you can always come visit since your dad still lives here." Effie said in an optimistic tone. "That's true, you can always come and drop by and just say "hey"." Biggie said with a little of a hopeful tone.

"Thanks guys." Logan said as he hugged them both, seeing Biggie and Effie holding hands. "So, you did take my advice Biggie." Logan said teasingly, Biggie blushing and Effie giggling.

"Yes, he did, we hope it will last for a long time."

"Of course, I mean it's a match made in heaven, the smart, good hearted cheerleader with the smart, kind, loving quarterback." Logan said. "Logan, what about David?" Biggie said as Logan's ears started to droop from sadness, Effie just nudging Biggie with a look of "don't say that!" Logan hadn't told anyone except Effie and Biggie about being gay. He had a huge crush, if not an infatuation, with David Lennings. A very attractive red fox that was also one of the very few to talk much. Logan smiled at the memories of the two, how close he was to telling him his effervescent love towards him.

"I suppose I'll have to move on." Logan said depressed at the thought of leaving him. The bell rang and he looked at his two best friends with sad eyes and the three just hugged once more, this hug lasting for about 30 seconds. The sound of snivelling was heard from Effie and Logan, Biggie just holding the two.

"Come on Effie, we should go to class." Biggie said hesitatingly. Effie wiped her eyes and agreed.

"Bye Logan, you were the best thing to ever happen to me. I love you like my own brother." Effie said, Biggie not getting jealous because he felt the same way, only he had to make sure he didn't start crying at school or else they'd be making fun of him for the longest time to come.

"You guys have my number so if there are any problems, just talk to me." Logan said tearfully as he lef the other way and left. He got two texts at the same time, from Effie and Biggie, saying "Missing you already :[" Logan just giggled tearfully, both amused and sad.

The rest of the day came and he finished the list, his memory card full of pictures of friends, cell full of numbers from friends, and a books worth of notes from his friends saying how much they'll miss him. They even threw him a going away party from his seventh period. Logan teared as he jerked away from his friends, his brother waited for him as they rode the bus to their home. Logan looked out the window of the poorly lit bus. He sighed in depression, never noticing how accustomed he'd grown to the city life. He looked at every street, taking it all in and recalling many adventures with his friends that he had. Logan saw the bus stop in front of his house and pulled the stop cord, eventually jumping off the bus. "You got all your stuff packed, right squirt?" Jason asked with a smile, attempting to cheer Logan up. Logan just looked up, and nodded his head, smiling a little because of what Jason had called him. Logan got his stuff ready and outside and Jason did as well, calling in a cab to take them to the LAX. Logan never realized how much he appreciated his brother. Jason was a very muscular, tall wolf who was pretty much into everything sports, cars, and girls. He was the average male teenager. Logan was the black sheep, being into clothes, bright colors, arts, and friends. He liked the occasional baseball and loved talking about shopping and stuff like that, but rarely talked to his brother because the two were much too different to come up with anything to agree on or talk about. Logan and Jason got off at the LAX and bought their tickets and made it on the plane. Jason was terrified, gripping the armrest as tight as he could, his veins popping from the immense force he put into his muscles.

"Hey Tiny, no need to be scared." Logan said in a joking manner, causing for Jason to lessen his grip and chuckle a little.

"Are you going to miss your friends squirt?"

"Of course...aren't you?"

"Yeah, I guess so..."

"What's the matter Tiny?"

"Mom doesn't me to join the military, you know that, right?"

"Right..."

"I'm still going to join..."

"Oh."

"I'm sorry squirt, but it's the only way I can make a living, plus, I want to help the U.S. out."

"But with the Marine Corps.?"

"They want me, they think I'm capable."

"There's a difference to thinking and knowing."

"And I am aware of that...but just be supportive, please?"

"I'm not going to be able to stand being away from you...your my big bro', how am I NOT going to be supportive?" Jason looked at Logan with a big smile and hugged him tightly.

"Thanks."

"I have something to tell you...and you need to be supportive about it as well..." Logan said fearfully, afraid of being rejected by one of the people he loved dearly.

"What's up?" Jason asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"I-I....I Plan on joining the Navy." Logan said with hesitation.

"That's great man! I'm so proud! I won't have to go at this alone! Oh Logan, thank you so much!" Jason said with another hug, practically suffocating Logan.

'Why did I chicken out? I can't believe I lied to him, my own brother.'

Logan closed his eyes and once again entered his subconcious meditative state of being.

'You're afraid of rejection, don't be. If he loves you as much as he says he does, he will understand.' Jason whispered into Logan's ear.

'I can't believe he still hasn't noticed that I am the voice of his subconscious mind. Oh well...someone needs to help him out, his brain with no help is not gonna do any good. I just wonder how I am going to tell him that i'm his concious.' Jason thought as he drifted to sleep, his heavy eyes squinting and then finally closing as they did so.
