The first thing I heard was a voice, a strange voice. It sounded muffled, and I could only make out a few words. All I heard was this."You, okay, and safe." When I opened my eyes all I could see was a blur and spots. I felt out of place. I didn't even know who or what I was. I had all these images flash in my head that weren't even mine. It was as if someone had programmed them into my brain. I blinked once and cleaned out my ears. Then it hit me like a truck. The sounds, the smells, the sights. It was loud and noisy as people in white coats cheered and chattered with each other. I saw machines and wires everywhere, but what I realized the most was I was naked in a chamber of some kind. There was a male scientist in front me. He was holding out a hand to help me down, I took the hand and blinked."Where am I?'', I asked. He said,"You have just been born, welcome to life. We have been doing years of research and preparing and we finally succeeded. " He seemed happy to see me. I looked down at my body and realized I was female. I blushed and whimpered. He blinked and thought a moment it seemed and then it hit him. He blushed as well. He quickly handed me a towel from the side of the machine he helped me out of. He helped wrap it around my cold average sized fur covered body. Wait did I see that right? Yes, fur covered body. I was a mutation. He grabbed me making me lose my thought."We need to get you to the showers and get you some clothes. I will explain more after you are comfortable. Your name is B234564G, but we decided to call you Sarah." I nodded and smiled nervously."Okay, thank you.", I said with a bit of fright in my voice. He noticed and said,"Would you feel more comfortable if one of our female scientist helped you?" I nodded. He lead me down a hall, the walls painted white and the air was really chilled, it felt like I was in a freezer. A female with red hair and green eyes smiled at me and carefully took hold of my hand."My name is Hazel.", she said. "The guy who escorted you to me is Henry." I responded with a nod. She sensed my discomfort in all this and stayed quiet as she lead me to the bathrooms. The bathroom was clean and organized. I looked into the mirror and almost jumped. I had the muzzle of a wolf and dark blue fur. My eyes a dark blue and the fur on my muzzle a clean white color. I blinked for a moment and let my hand rest upon the clean mirror. Hazel chuckled and said."It is a bit of a shock isn't it? Well, you'll get used to it. I just hope us bring you into this world was a good idea. The government already almost shut us down and waited us to kill you when you were created, but we talked them down with the deal of making their weapons stronger for free." I gulped and wondered what kind of world this was. Was it one of war and destruction or one of peace or did it have elements of both. Hazel then touched my shoulder and nodded. I looked at her confused and then remembered why we were here. I was here to get cleaned and clothed. I almost laughed at myself. She helped me get clean and dressed. They gave me a pair of black sweatpants and a blue T-shirt. Hazel then lead me to another room, where I saw Henry sitting on a green leather couch. He smiled and motioned to the red leather chair in front him. There was a round glass coffee table in between us both when I sat down. It had a cup of some strange brown liquid. He smiled."Take a sip, it is herbal tea. It is good for you and it will help with the confusion and help you relax. " I nodded and took a sip. I jumped a bit as it was still very hot.Henry chuckled."Careful, now let me explain." He looked at me and got a serious look on his face." The crew and I created you over a span of years, we spent millions of dollars and a lot of time on you, and even after all that. I want you to be free to make your own decisions. We are not bad people, we did this for the sole purpose of creating new life. All I ask is you let us study how you live and you are still free to say no." I took a minute to take this information in. I kinda guessed this was what happened as to what Hazel said earlier. I then thought about his request."Only if I can choose when and where not you can observe me." Henry nodded and looked at me."That is fair, but you will have to stay here at least a week, so that we can prepare you a home and get you a job. We did you the favor in putting memories into your brain. You do not have any college experience, but we wanted to leave that choice up to you. You are like our child. We care about you, but we didn't want to force too much on you as it is, so without further a do, welcome to life."
