The Dragons Wrath
Fang left his home with no regrets, his people and family wished him all a safe return and to end the evil spreading throughout the galaxy as he boarded the Great Fox with the others, Fox gave him a tour of the whole ship before allowing Fang to go to his quarters, his roomate would be Tamati the nine tailed fox who seemed like the friendly type when not on the job but Fang wasn't the one to make friends, in fact all the freedom fighters who tried to befriend him were turned away.
"So you want the top bunk or bottom?"
"Bottom..."
The moment Fang opened his bag he revealed a simple set of white t-shirts and jeans, not the type of things one would usually pack on a military mission. Tamati then noticed his sword and attempted to reach out for it when his hand was suddenly zapped by a small burst of electricity as the strange markings on the sword began to glow.
"My sword Fatalis...has the power to command the strongest hurricanes, summon the mightiest of tidal waves....the sword of storms."
"Cool this is my sword Thunder Edge."
Tamati revealed a necklace shaped like the sun that turned into a sword the moment it was placed in the palm of his hand Fang seemed a little impressed but continued to unpack before finally settling down. The two didn't say much as the ship soared through space until Fox came in the room with a set of files that he handed to the two of them.
"Now for the reason you're here: years ago the scientis Doctor Andross was banished from the lylat system for attempting to control the government from within until years later he built a robotic army and began to war against the galactic alliance threatening to destroy everything unless all bowed to him."
"Sounds like the doc back at home."
"Only a little more devious. before dying Andross cealed himself in a giant robotic replica which me and the team destroyed thinking we brought an end to the war but his nephew Andrew has taken command and so far he's pushed back most of our troops."
Fox then showed them pictures of the other members of Starfox, another vixen and a rabbit who looked similar to Peppy.
"This is Fara Phoenix and Lucy Hare, you'll be partnered up with them today and if you make a good impression you're on the team."
"Sweet."
Tamati liked the fact that they were going to be partnered up with two femal fighter pilots but Fang simply closed the file and re-packed his things before heading out the exit. An hour passed before Fang and Tamati were finally aboard Faras where they were greeted by the female pilot herself.
"Welcome to Starfox, i'm Phara Phoenix commander of this unit."
"Tamati, the pleasures all mine *winks*"
"Fang of planet mobius at your service."
With the introductions done Phara ordered the boys to suit up and prepare for their first mission. The boys were dressed in special ops uniforms and were each given a blaster but Fang left his on the table and stuck with his combat knife and sword which seemed unwise to any other soldier.
"Okay guys here's your mission: A bunch of enemy units have been bombarding our fleet with those anti air guns, your job is to take out those guns and as many enemy soldiers as possible. understood?"
"Yes maam."
"Good. dismissed."
And within moments the ship began to rock violently as explosions rang all around then finally the cargo hold door opened and Tamati and Fang leaped out into enemy lines. As the ship flew off Tamati was about to give Fang their battle plan but when he turned around he saw that Fang had bolted off toward the guns in a burst of speed and before he knew it he could hear the screams of dying soldiers and the sound of flesh and bone being slashed.
"What the-?!? oh my god...."
Tamati saw that Fang had completely butchered them beyond recognition, then he saw another group moving in on him guns blazing but each shot they fired completly missed and in the end the last thing they saw was a flash of silver as Fang attacked with masterful skill, slaying his opponents in one move and from the great fox Falco could see everything.
"Fox...you should see this..."
"What is it Falco *looks at screen* my god...."
Fox and the whole team were at a loss for words and by the time their fleet landed the whole area was filled with corpses and Fangs face was soaked with their blood. His eyes were shut and he breathed slowly to calm himself and the moment he opened his eyes Tamati saw a flash of blood red light shoot out from them before he passed by to contact the rest of the team.
"This is Fang. Mission Complete."
