Uncertain Chapter 3
Chapter 3 of my Uncertain series. Here, FarFar and Marko make some plans.
For whatever reasons, the uploaded version of this story does not contain the fonts, spacing, emoji, and changes in text that I originally put in. May be a bit hard to read as a result. Not sure what the problems were with the uploading. Kept trying...kept having issues. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.....
I'm sure there are some editing mistakes in this chapter...I'm not that great with proof reading. :-(

My mind stated racing as I reread the words that Marko wrote¬¬¬¬¬ to me:
Enjoyed seeing you today. Would like to see you again. Text me. Marko.
Hell yeah! I sure would like to see you again.
Then I got to thinking:
What if he just wants to work out with me again at the training center? Or is it something else? Stop over thinking this! Text him already!
My computer beeped, telling me that it was time to log in and start the work day. Not wanting to catch the attention of my boss, I reluctantly finished logging in and stated to pull up the day's files.
When are you going to text him? GET TO IT!!
Oh, what the fuck. I picked up my phone and punched in the number that Marko gave me.
It was good seeing you today. Would like to see you again soon. FarFar.
Hitting the send button, I relaxed a bit and took a sip of coffee.
And now the waiting...guess I can get to work so that I don't check my phone every minute.
Decision made. I turn back to the computer and start working on some the calculations needed to finish my current assignment.
Beep...beep.
PHONE!! I reach over to see who just messaged me. Looking at the screen, I saw that it wasn't Marko; rather it was Ajax, my co-worker.
What time is snack night going to be tomorrow?
Figure around 5.
Ok. That sounds good. I will tell Allie. Can I bring a couple of my friends over?
Yup. CU later.
CU.
Sigh. One more look at the phone. Then back to work, and back to thinking about all the problems that needed to be addressed.
Noon. Still no text from Marko.
Should I text him again? No, be patient.
The day dragged on....and on....and on.
Beep...Beep. Looking at the phone, I saw that the text was from Marko.
Hey, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Got called into work. ?
That sucks.
Yup. Been wanting to message ya. First chance I had. I liked working out with U 2-day.
Me too! Liked the workout and seeing U again.
A thought crossed my mind. See if he wants to come to snack night tomorrow.
Having some friends over tomorrow night. Wanna come over?
Can't. Gotta do some work up at my parents' cabin.
Didn't know you had a cabin. Where is it?
Out beyond the city, in the Swayback mountains. Parents live cross the county, so I take care of the place when they're not around.
He then texted again.
Do you want to come out to the training center this evening?
No, gotta work late and then shopping for tomorrow.
That sucks.
Yeah, I know. Sucks for me 2. Would rather work out with U again then B stuck here.
I wish U could 2.
Gotta get back to the puter. Boss walking around.
Yeh, same here. Text U later.
Yup!
Well, that all stinks. Can't see him tonight and he can't come over tomorrow. At least we will text later. That will have to do...for now.
Late evening. Hell of a long day with my working almost a double shift and then doing errands. Glad to be home and getting ready to go to bed.
Text Marko now or wait? Take a shower first then text him while you are in bed.
Walking into the shower, I relaxed as the warm water washed away the dirt and stress of the day. Soap, lather, rinse. Finished. I shook the excess water out of my fur and was about to towel dry when I heard my phone beep in the other room. Walking naked out of the room, I looked at my phone and saw that the text was from Marko.
Hiya! Hope I'm not disturbing U at anything.
Nope. Just got done taking a shower.
Hmmmmmmmm......
What?
Just thinking.
Another text from Marko:
Wanted to say goodnite 2 U B 4 it got 2 late.
Yeah, I'm kinda sleepy. Long ass day if U know what I mean.
I know. Hated being called into work, but its money in the pocket.
Yup.
Well, goodnite then. TTYL?
Sure thing. Goodnite to U.
As I got into bed, I was thinking about our conversations, and how I was looking forward to more.
Yup...we sure will talk later.
