Hai everyone, I'm dusk, been writing stories for a while now, just never put them up. This is going to be my first complete story, consisting of multiple chapters, comments are welcome, criticizm encouraged. Tell me what y'all think. As a warning, the following story contains one scene of gay kissing, but no yiff, that comes later ;3

We find ourselves alone in a house of moderate size in a decent neighborhood, painted white, alone with a fox, a fox of the red kind. He is laying on the ground, a puddle of tears still warm around him, curled up, crying, heartbroken. This is the story of that fox. This is the story of Todd Prideaux. This is the story of Love Everliving.

Todd Prideaux is just like any other 16 year old red fox, about five foot, five and one half inches tall, slightly toned, however on the inside, he is missing one of the things that makes people what they are, people. Todd Prideaux is missing love.

As Todd walks through the halls of South Crest High School in his uniform, khakis, blue tshirt, a backpack slung over his right shoulder, the inner waters of his life have been troubled for reasons he knows not.

The fox walks along, semi-unconsciously, unaware of the people and things around him. *THUD* As books are scattered across the floor, coming out of his own small world and back into reality. "Oh God, I'm so sorry..." he says, picking up the books before standing up and looking eye to eye with a tabby cat boy, about his age. "Sorry again...I don't think we've met, are you new here?" he asks, handing the books over. "Oh, yeah, just transferred here today. I'm sorry for bothering you but can you help me find room...203? Chemistry?" the cat responds, looking slightly flustered and embarassed. "You have chemistry next hour? Yeah, I'm in the same class this hour, you can just follow me and you'll be all right." Todd says, walking to his next class, keeping the cat beside him. "So what's your name, didn't really get the chance for a proper introduction." He asks, looking momentarily at the cat and noticing that his eyes are a bright sky blue, blushing slightly and looking away. "I-I'm Xander...a bit new here...and you?" He asks, looking into the fox's green eyes. "I'm Todd Prideaux, sophomore and red fox extrordinaire" He says, striking an adventure's pose as the cat giggles a bit, blushing as he does. "Here we are" The fox says.

Todd opened the door for the cat, taking his seat in the back, nothing or nobody but the air beside him, placing his backpack on the ground and quickly getting out his textbook. "Class, we have a new student with us today, please give a warm welcome to Xander Jones, Xander, pick any empty seat." The husky teacher said, gesturing twards the class with a pointing stick. Xander sat down next to Todd, pulling out his textbook as well, obviously being very prepared.

As the day went on, it seemed that Todd and Xander grew very close to one another. Having all classes together out of coincidence. Spending the whole day together, laughing, joking, and seeming like they had been friends their whole life. At the end of the day, they met outside of school, still laughing at some joke or another, one class to the next. "Hey," The fox asked. "you want to come over to my house?" The cat brightened up at the question, smiling widely "Sure!" he exclaimed, tail swaying happily.

The pair walked home, not saying much on the way due to not having much to say. As they reached the house, the cat stared in amazement, as the fox looked over to him, smiling "What, never seen a house before?" The cat blushed visibly under his fur "Not one this large..." He said embarassedly, the fox looking at him with a devious grin "That's what she said." The fox said, laughing uncontrollably along with his friend as they put their backpacks on the floor on the way in.

"Mom, dad, I'm home!" he said, looking around "Mom? Dad?" he said, noticing the note left for him on the counter, reading it, saying that both his mother and his father would be out late for work as usual, advising not to cook anything, Xs and Os included at the bottom for him.

"Yeah, right..." The fox said, throwing the note into the trash. "What's up?" The cat asked, laying his backpack down on the floor. "Oh nothing, 'rents out late, don't cook anything, blah blah blah." He said, chuckling a bit to himself. "So what do you want to do? We have TV, a YSphere, A Raejah, and a couple other systems." The cat gawked "I...I've never really played any video games...or watched much TV." He said, blushing slightly. "Well, we'll start with a movie and work our way up from there." The fox said, plopping down on the couch and turning on a random movie, patting the couch, inviting the cat over. Xander sat down with him.

They began watching the movie, snuggling up the the fox after the first thirty minutes, the fox blushing a bit and laying his arm over the cat's shoulder. After about another thirty minutes, there was a passionate kissing scene, the romantic music playing in the background as the fireworks go off in the night sky, the fox looking down to the cat to find him already looking up at him, looking down quickly and blushing as he's caught.

The cat placed a paw gently on his chin and pulled his head back, pressing his own muzzle to the others, letting his other arm wrap around him, and pulling back after a few seconds, blusing a deep crimson red. "I'm so sorry...I d-don't know wh-what came over me..." The fox pulling his muzzle back up and kissing him deeper, letting his tongue brush against the cat's muzzle as he does.

The cat parted his lips, letting the fox slip his tongue in to explore as he gently sucked on it, purring softly. After about a minute, the fox pulled back, and, realizing what he had done, blushed deeply and looked away. "Oh..oh god...I...I'm so sorry...I didn't...oh god..." The cat just snuggled up to him further, purring loudly. "Todd?" The fox looked at him, tears in his eyes. The cat gave him a peck on the lips "I liked it..." Xander said, and hugged him tightly.
