New Recruits Part 2
The team headed straight for Mobotropolis in search of the hedgehog Fang, along the way Tamati and Krystal had a friendly chat with each other and throughout the whole trip Krystal kept laughing at some of the stories Tamati was telling her while Fox just stood there looking completely pissed and was hardly paying attention to anything else.
"Fox? FOX!!"
"Huh? Oh! sorry Peppy."
"We're here *activates com link* This is Peppy Hare of Starfox requesting permission to land do you copy?"
"Copy that Starfox. Permission granted, welcome to planet Mobius."
Upon arrival the team was greeted my King Maxamillion Acorn and Queen Alicia; the current rulers of Mobius and behind them were Sonic and his new wife Sally. All greeted the king with a salute as Fox walked up to him offering a hand shake.
"It is an honor to meet the famous Starfox."
"Thank you you're majesty but we're here on business, where can we find Prince Fang?"
"My grandson? Sonic just told me he came back from another mission, you'll probably find him in the training grounds at knothole village."
With that the team found themselves some appartments and headed to knothole where they found Fang training just as the king said. he was using the same sword they saw in the video footage, he wore no shirt and was completely drenched in sweat attracting some of the local girls but he payed no mind.
For one minuete he stood there silent with his eyes closed until suddenly several other trainees attacked out of nowhere with wooden staffs, the moment Fang opened his eyes they became piercing and fierce and one by one he knocked out all his opponents with ease before taking a cleansing breath.
"*Inhales then sighs* that's enough for today."
"Yes young prince."
After wiping off the sweat from his body Fang heard a small applause coming from behind him. Krystal was the first to come and greet him with a hand shake but all Fang did was nod in approval.
"You must be Starfox, sorry I haven't answered any of the messages i've been busy."
Fang gestured them to follow him to his hut where they could discuss his recruitment into the team.
"From our report it says that you're quite the fighter, you even held off an entire batallion by yourself before backup arrived."
"Not before receiving a souvenir *points to scar*."
Unknown to the team Fang was once a noble warrior who spared the lives of his enemies but after receiving that scar something inside him completely changed and he went back to his old self; the perfect killing machine.
"The other freedom fighters can handle things here. I'll join."
"Great!"
Before Fox could do anything else Fang got up from his seat and went into his room to start packing leaving the others a little worried.
"Seems a little serious doesn't he?"
