Shadow kicked the door for the eighth time, but the thick wood didn't give at all. "Damn that idiot, paranoid gazelle!"

My sweaty forehead didn't improve with a rub of my paw as I stood under the glaring bulb in the ceiling. The floor was smoothed concrete, like the rest of the basement, but the far wall was windowless with insulated padding. Mixed supplies filled the small room, stuffing sturdy shelves on either side. A camp stove looked just like one my dad had kept in our garage....

I shook my head, trying to be the calm one in the room. "He's not a gazelle. He's an antelope."

"I don't care," Shadow growled without looking at me, kicking the door a ninth time.

I blinked up at the bare bulb shining from the ceiling. Strange to have electricity again. The switch for it was inside the room, by the door. There had never been any hanging cord to turn it on. Damn that springbok.

"He said he'd let us out tomorrow, when it's time to leave. Settle down, Wulf. We can't do much until then. At least this is a supply room with blankets and gear."

"But no food. You just want to sit and do nothing!?" Shadow shouted, flinging a paw towards the door. "At least I'm trying something!"

"He seemed honest when he said he'll let us out tomorrow." I had to keep calm, Shadow sure wasn't.

"And you believe that drivel!?" He kicked the backpack, where he'd tossed it by the door; contents inside rattled. "Left my bat in the car...."

"I don't know what else we can do. That thick door will take a long time to break through. If we even can. We might hurt ourselves more than the door."

"Better to start now, while we still have strength," the wolf growled around his teeth, bared at the door as he prepared another assault.

He was furious and scared, paws shaking. The black muzzle twisted, and a sob broke out. He held up those paws, half-clenched towards his face, but didn't touch. After a few seconds he fisted them and let them drop.

"I want to be out of here. I don't want to be locked up any more. He- He wanted to take our tails and-"

"Hey. Hey, Shadow," I gulped fighting off my rising feelings, seeing his upset. Taking a step closer, I tried a smile. "This room looks safe from the Curtain. It's like a bomb shelter. Let's give it a day. It won't hurt anything, right?"

Shadow kicked the door again. Again. After a pause, the twelfth kick was halfhearted. My Wulf stood, facing the door, shoulders shaking.

My paw fell to his shoulder, but he shrugged it off. Not willing to let him be upset on his own or risking one of his blank spells, I eased my body against his back. Though he tensed, I let my paws creep around his sides to close around his middle.

With my firm warmth at his back, I reminded him he wasn't alone. He had someone in the world, someone to be strong for, but also to accept strength from. Chin on his shoulder, I reminded him I could be an anchor. Clenching my eyes shut didn't block hearing his silent sobs or feeling his tense shudders.

When he quieted, I worried he'd withdrawn into the state of nothing he was prone to. I hoped not. If he repeated it too many times, would there be a time my Wulf would not come back?

I tugged at him gently. "It's okay, Shadow. I'm here. You're not alone in the dark any more."

He didn't say anything, following my lead to turn him around so he could wrap his own arms around me. Through the shivers and silent sobs, I could feel his heart beating against my chest. He was so upset, so scared.

I rubbed my paw in gentle circles around his back, pulling his head to my shoulder with my other paw. As his arms fell to his side, his heavy head drooped onto my own shoulder, giving me his hopeless weight.

For the first time since yesterday when he'd blocked me out, I felt we were connecting again. He responded under my arms, more than with my verbal reassurances and questions of the last day. We spoke without words, communicated without effort.

He was worried. Torn and upset. He didn't know what to do. Above all else, he was afraid of losing me. Why again? We had been over this before, worked through it before.

Yesterday, he had become so afraid he'd withdrawn by will, leaving me alone. I needed him still. Didn't he need me?

The wolfy heartbeat against my chest faltered as he recognized my own emotional mess. A silent sob broke into audible range before his arms came up from their limp dangle, holding me tighter with desperate paws. His chin tucked over my shoulder, trying to keep me, trying to be with me.

My heart twisted in my own fear and worry. I was scared of losing him. What could I do to help us regain our confident connection? It terrified me, deep into the corners of my heart. The black wolf had come to mean so very much to my deepest self.

How long did we stand there, under the bare bulb, shining its empty light as we filled each other with our own? Somewhere in that time, black wolf paws had risen to draw me close by my red back.

Sanway was moving things in the rest of the basement. Doors opened and closed, indicating other basement rooms. Muted grumbling from the fur had no discernible words.

Much as I wanted to call out to the antelope, to ask for more assurance we could leave tomorrow, I knew where my focus was best spent. By my efforts, Shadow's upset slowed along with his thumping heart. His arms around me relaxed; his breathing evened.

Hoping to keep my Wulf anchored, I mumbled anything reassuring and nudged him with my wet nose until he responded. My nudging nose turned into steady licking of his ear. Whenever I paused to say something, a tiny whimper escaped him before he managed a word or two. But it kept him there, with me.

Minutes or hours later, he was still with me. My footpaws and legs ached from standing still. My shoulder was aching, supporting a big, heavy head. When I pulled a little away, his paws clenched against my back and a short growl warned against any parting movement.

With a nudge of my wet nose into his ear, tickling his ear-hairs, I whispered, "Let's find a better way to settle and relax."

His ear flicked, smacking the top of my muzzle with its soft broadness. A single grunt accompanied his answer, but after a long sigh and tender squeeze, he loosened.

In the long moments I'd held him, I 'd gotten a chance to look around the nearby shelves. Blankets were closest, perhaps within my reach. I leaned, still wrapped in wolfy arms and managed to grab the folded edge of a fuzzy layer. Shadow shifted with me, his little growls showing how unhappy he was with any change, even though he must have been getting stiff too.

"Ugh. Come on Shadow." I patted his arm and bumped his head with my cheek. When he grunted, but made no more response, I reached up to rough his headfur. "Let's settle down to the floor, okay?"

With a long-drawn sigh, he let his paws drop to his side. Last to leave contact with me was his chin, and afterwards, he wouldn't look up, wouldn't look at me. He drooped as if he wanted to sink away into nothing.

I hunted the shelves as Shadow stood there, rubbing his forearms and snuffling at the floor. Camping pad, sleeping bags, blankets, no food. I made a whole nest of fluffy for us to settle to. If we were trapped in here, I wanted it to be as comfortable as possible for my Wulf. Did he dislike softness after all his time sleeping rough?

He tensed when I pulled at his paw. He kept glancing back at the door, where we could still hear Sanway sorting through his trove of weapons.

When he sat next to me in my lovely nest, I put a paw on his knee. "Leave Sanway be, Shadow. He didn't respond before. Just give it 'till tomorrow after the Curtain. Then we can bug him."

He nodded.

"I'll be here for whatever happens."

He nodded again.

I smiled at his drooped head, giving his knee a squeeze. "But I need you here, and I think you need me."

His eyes flicked up for a brief glance before he nodded.

"Are you okay now?" I leaned in close, trying to see his eyes.

He shrugged, his eyes growing distant.

I gave his knee another firm squeeze. "Don't space out on me now, young pup," I smirked.

His lips twitched, but awareness came back to his eyes. "I-" he gulped.

When a full minute passed, he had done nothing more than suck on his lips and fidget with his fingers. I moved closer to him, until our legs touched and I could place my arm across his shoulders.

I made an encouraging smile into his furry neck. "You've been worried, Shadow. It's something you haven't told me about, something bothering you so much you're pulling away."

He shivered and rubbed his forearm across his snuffling nose. "I didn't mean to," he said, glancing my direction.

I leaned in closer to give his cheek a fat kiss. "I know, but it's been bad enough everyone around us is worried. Brynn kept wondering. I'm sure even Sanway noticed something's up." I smiled at his tiny snicker. "Anyway, can you please come clean with whatever is bothering you? We can't work through a problem together if only you know about it."

A shiver and a sigh from him, a slow nod.

When he hesitated further, I tried, "How about when it began. Start there?"

His eyes blinked several rapid times before closing. I squeezed his knee again in encouragement, turning my touch into a slow massage through the soft fuzz of fur. When he opened his eyes, staring into his paws, he spoke.

"It didn't start yesterday. It's been on my mind a while...."

"But something happened yesterday, when Burt and Howard asked us to do this little trip. Something triggered?"

He made a pained nod. "You wanted to touch their horns. I- I...." He shook his head and sniffed. "I know it's stupid, but I don't have horns. I don't have things other furs do. I don't even have... confidence."

I harrumphed and tapped his nose with a gentle finger. "You're building confidence, Wulf. Everything takes time. Your confidence was lost, and you're working to rebuild it."

He shrugged. "Now I have you. But I don't have everything. If you want to try new things, there are experiences I can't provide."

"What, like touching horns?"

"Yeah." He was silent a moment, looking into his black paws, resting in his lap. "How did they feel? I never thought about it before."

I smiled and lay my creamy chin on the fluffy shoulder next to me. "Warm, surprisingly warm. Like you could feel the blood warmth in them."

Shadow snickered. "Devilish vampire."

I shrugged, grinning. "They were also smooth. Burt's was. Howard's wasn't where-"

I found myself on my back with Shadow crouched above me, his grin in the place it belonged. My grin met his before we closed our eyes for a lingering kiss.

He met my blinking eyes when he leaned closer, staring into my soul with his yellow-gold eyes. How I loved those eyes, those eyes I'd felt drawn to from our first contacting gaze. My relaxed blue eyes gazed back into them, content to feel awareness of him over me.

"Some firsts I can't give you. I know that. I may not like it, but I know it."

My eyebrows dropped into confusion.

"Really, Tyler. I've decided I want to be your first with everything."

What did he mean? I cocked my head, lying on the fluffy nest. I slipped a paw up to his back, feeling the muscles beneath the dense fur.

His eyes showed his sadness. "I know I don't have everything, but whatever I have is yours. I want to be your first everything. Well... and to continue after your firsts."

"Um...?"

The black wolfy fur nudged his nose into the base of my neck. "It's... Tyler. You haven't had a lot of experience, and that's fine. I think it's great. I know you're dying to try new things. Just... I want to be a part of it too."

"You thought you might be left in the dust?"

Shadow shrugged where he crouched above me and raised his heavy head. He brushed his paw over my brow with a strange smile. "I didn't think much. It felt so wrong. You seemed to be slipping away from me?"

"But Shadow," I raised my muzzle to nudge into his neck, causing his slight shiver, "why did it seem you were separating yourself from me?"

"I-" he rubbed his nose across his supporting forearm, "I didn't know what to do. I was even angry at you for looking past me, to things I don't have. I'll never have horns for you to play with."

"I know."

"I'll never have horns or antlers. I'll never have spikes on my cock, a sharp tip, or a long equine piece. I'll never have short, sleek fur." He snuffled and his attempt to look my way failed. "I don't have those, and never will. What happens when you look for new and different things?"

"Shadow," I took a firm tone, dropping my head to give him a gentle glare. "I am interested in things I don't know. What I won't do is leave you. I want you to know whatever you have to give will be enough for me."

"And if I'm not enough? What happens then?"

"I can't predict the future. There's plenty of wolf, plenty of 'you' for me. Even if I'm driven to try new things, I won't leave you behind. Can you trust in that?"

Another shrug.

"There are things I'm interested in. But I know 'things' are not what makes me love you. Those are only a part of what makes someone. I want you; all of you. Physical stuff is icing on the cake. I love that you're lean and strong. I love your deep, black fur and your warmth. But those things are not all of what makes you, you." I poked a finger into his arm with my last words.

Shadow shrugged yet again but seemed to calm more. The tension in his eyes relaxed.

"I know you're uncertain about a lot of things because you've been hurt many, many times. I won't ever hurt you intentionally. I just won't. Believe in me Shadow, please."

A black paw crept up my arm, hesitating before firming on my shoulder, clutching me. A short nod was all he managed through his silent tears and quiet smile. The wolf shifted on his paws above me, relaxing more. He let his lower half weigh on my legs, propping his upper weight on elbows framing my shoulders.

"Shadow, you're more than I ever dreamed for myself. More than I could ever deserve." My eyes sparkled with emotion.

"Tyler!" His voice rang. His tears stopped as he pulled himself up and turned with his lips scrunched to the side.

I snickered and set my paw on his elbow, rising above my shoulder. "We both have our doubts. Just don't... don't let them take you for a ride again, okay?" I rubbed my own forearm over my draining nose, trying to ignore tearing eyes. "I know I've said it before, but I mean it, Shadow."

The heat where we pressed to each other grew stronger. Wolfy eyes relaxed, and with a sighed release, he stroked me, his paw curling around my head. I giggled when he dropped his big head and blew into my ear.

I jerked with a giggled, "No!"

When I blinked up at him, his eyes reflected me. Just a little, his gaze was so intense. His eyes sparkled with a growing interest, a fascination of me, and I felt an acknowledging twinge of wonder.

He pressed me down into the cushy depths of 'nest' floating my weight. He shifted his upper weight to a single elbow. His freed paw stroked my red-furred upper arm as he bumped his hips, beginning a lazy rhythm. I closed my eyes with a happy sigh, feeling my body bump and shift with wolfy weight.

The sideways kiss he gave me was hesitant, yet as he supplicated me, it grew firmer with my encouraging response. When a warm tongue probed my lips for entry, I let him in with a whimpering sigh. His sweet taste filled me as he made forays into me, mirroring his slow humps.

The sense of Shadow, my big Wulf, became a meshing of 'us'. He was gaining confidence in his movements and breaths. My whiskers twitched when I realized how hard I was in my sheath. He pressed his own, clothed hardness onto mine without missing rhythm in my muzzle.

When he moved off to the side, lying next to me in the multi-colored bedding nest, my head lifted, muzzle failing to keep us locked, body following his warmth. He snickered and winked at me when I frowned, letting out a huffing sigh.

"Why so disappointed, Tyler?"

Why was I disappointed? I was sure he would start something, something really good. I didn't want to tell, didn't want to appear a sex freak.

"Ah..." I tried to put it into words without seeming needy. "It felt good."

"It did, huh?" At my nod, he grinned and stroked his paw behind my head. "And you wanted more?"

My ears burned with a severe blush. I turned, shifting my hips closer to his and nodded. I was hard, and beginning to strip Shadow with my eyes. I wanted him bare in my vision and nude under my paws.

"Really?" Shadow shifted closer, dropping a black arm over my middle.

Interrupting my nod, a firm, wet nose nudged into my neck, causing me to shiver and gasp. I angled my muzzle up to give him wider access, feeling warming tingles down my spine. My sudden twitch made him chuckle into my creamy neckfur.

My eyes dropped closed as his lips locked to my neck, sucking and nibbling. My body twitched again, and I got even harder where his leg touched my groin. My heartbeats reflected my excitement, thumping in my chest as I panted soft breaths into the dim air. With a tiny whine, I moved my paw to stroke at the chest in front of me through his shirt.

It seemed like forever since we'd become one, and I wanted the feeling again. I closed my eyes and clenched the insides of my rear, trying to envision him within me. The wolf was pressed against me, his hard heat so near. A deep itch and deeper need hummed in me.

A paw slipped under my own shirt, caressing my creamy fur. The light fingers found my nipples, teasing them with callused finger-pads. I shifted my head when he sucked harder on my neck, loosing a long, soft moan into the little room.

I needed more. More of his unwashed wolfy musk, more contact, more heat! My paw slipped along his side, and I squirmed to feel more of the poking hardness hidden in his shorts. His own fingertips drifted down my chest in little wiggles, teasing me before exiting the loose confines of my t-shirt.

He pulled his muzzle away, apologizing through his shallow kiss while I made whimpers of desperate disappointment. My eyes popped open when something pressed onto the head of my clothed hardness. A gentle paw circled around the sensitive head, the feeling muffled by my shorts. The wolf outlined by the bare ceiling bulb grinned around my lips.

I fumbled around with my shorts' button while he chuckled into my muzzle. Damn. Why did he seem so calm? I felt I'd burst with much more. With a huff, I separated our lips. I wouldn't wait.

With a quick shimmy, I was out of my confining shorts. I didn't want to mess them and have to hunt through FurShopper shelves to find my next pair. What I wanted was to be bare and ready for whatever this black wolf had in mind.

Wolfy lips traveled up my neck, sipping at my jawline. I turned my muzzle to meet his, opening to allow his tongue. With a shuddering breath, he dipped into my taste. Through his kiss, he seemed less in control, sucking unevenly and shoving his whole body towards me in tandem with his tongue strokes.

He was getting turned on too, more than I'd expected. He always seemed to be in control, always knowing what to do. That he might lose it made an excited tingle shoot through me.

Too turned on to hesitate, I pushed my paw between us to rub at his shorts, feeling the hardness within. I wanted his hardness, the hot wolfy flesh. He shifted off me to free his lower half, giving us a brief, almost painful moment of separation.

When we were both bare below the waist, he pulled me close, turning me onto my back and humping over me. The heat. Hot heat merging, becoming us.

He whimpered moans, sucking below my ear. By all furry heavens, it all felt amazing! It flooded me, allying with my arousal to tingle my spine. He sat up, pulling me up after him. My breaths came in pants, my heart treading hard and fast. I ached with my need, and bits of pre rose to my tip.

I needed him. He needed me. Those needs grew into a heated singularity. Our hearts and souls would become one again. The surety of it gave me sudden confidence.

I wrapped my arms around his neck to kiss him hard and sloppy. His paws gripped into my backfur, digging on either side of my spine. I needed it.

I groaned in frustration when he sat up to take off my shirt. Thinking it would be faster, I tried to do his at the same time, but our arms tangled. With a grin he took over and bared us both before hefting me onto his lap. My knees settled on either side of wolfy hips, our bared heat joining at the exposed tips.

"Now, Shadow. Please...." I managed through little pants into his ear, clutching at the thick, furry back.

But the wolf's control was better than mine. He held our shafts together with one paw and gripped me close with the other, snuffling and nipping into my neck. When he didn't pick up the pace, giving our cocks slow strokes, I shifted over him, wiggling weight on my knees. I needed more, didn't Shadow want more too? What was he delaying for?

When I growled and took a nip at his shoulder from my own frustration and building desires, he mumbled into my ear with an audible smile, "You seem to want something. Why don't you take over this one, hmmm?"

I paused in my needy growling, though my wiggling hips didn't stop. I frowned and blinked down at him, struggling to think.

"I want to be your first for this too," he said, nibbling my neck again, aroused but not as distracted as I was.

When I gripped his back and humped on him, trying to get more friction from his paw, he let go. I reached for our weeping flesh, but he pushed my paw away. To my dismay, he pushed me off him, turning away and resettled himself in a new position. I blinked, trying to bend my mind around what was happening.

He was on all fours, lifting his fluffy tail and turning to look over his shoulder with a burning look of need. His gaze flickered uncertainty, then settled, determined. He reached back to pull away one cheek with a firm paw, presenting his puckered little bud to me.

Was he serious?

"Lube..." I managed, my heart crashing into my chest, wanting to be freed.

"Skip it if you want," Shadow grinned over his shoulder, waving his thick, black tail. "I often have."

I set my paws on his hips and pulled his rear towards me, licking my lips at the sight of his little pucker. It was perfect. Inviting. Waiting. Twitching for me!

Wait. No. I wanted to be gentle with my special Bardawulf. Lube would make it a much more pleasant experience. He'd been through enough; there no need to make things more difficult for him. Lube helped. Sure had helped me. Maybe spit had been 'enough' other times, but that wasn't how I was going to do it. Do it right, Tyler!

Gritting my teeth, I all-but shoved Shadow's hips away, crawling to reach his backpack by the door. My hardness twitched between my thighs, exposed and needing more attention than the cool air was providing. I was panting, shaking a little in the need causing my cock to drool.

The lube took longer to find than I'd expected. The saggy backpack had hidden it in folds! I was growling in frustration when I found it.

Ready and turning back, I saw a Wulf waggling eyebrows at me over his shoulder, thick black tail swinging in circles. He flicked his fluff-tail up and down over his furry back. Oh, that was hot, presenting himself and inviting me - ME! - to take him.

Was this right? Shadow wanted us to. I wanted to. Were either of us ready? Yes. But Shadow had been upset moments ago; was it appropriate to do this now? Would anything change between us after this? Questions peeked, but another bounce of a fluffy tail....

I gulped hard, pulling myself into position. When I pushed my bare front against him, pressing against his sturdy backside, his tail was moved over to the side, most of it sticking out from between our hips. He tensed a moment before settling into silent readiness, waiting. I could feel his anticipation in the shivers under my sweaty paws.

I massaged the sides of his hips, unsure where to begin. Nothing had much prepared me for that moment. Except everything in life had taken me here, when I would lose my frontal virginity - another first - to the black wolf of my dreams. What could I do to better honor Shadow's gift than to be myself? What would I do?

I calmed my panting breaths and leaned in for a long sniff of his rear. Pure, wild wolfiness full of forests, mountain herbs, and salty earth came to mind. I licked to the side of his pucker, wanting to lift more scent and felt as much as heard Shadow's little moan. I nibbled light teeth at his cheeks, making him gasp, driving me wild. It was time.

With a deep breath, I shifted close, bringing myself behind him, touching my hardness to his hot center of puckered warmth. Warmer and more inviting than horns. Softer than any paw or hoof. This was my Wulf. Precious to my heart Bardawulf.

I made restless moves against him, rubbing my peeking cock through his crack, watching it sprout between his cheeks to nudge his tail. He leaned his rear into me, trying to encourage my hardness to meet his center. I responded with a shivering clench on his hips and a hard thrust I hadn't intend. Holding back a growl, I stilled those hips with a tighter grip and pulled back my sheath to reveal my throbbing length.

Blinking, I made myself reach to the side. Lube. Growls came from me when I fumbled with the tube. Why did my paws shake so damn much? I squeezed too much into my paw and slopped it on my cock, getting my fur a little lubed too. I made passing gestures of poking some at his hot, flexing pucker.

Was it too much inside him? Too much on me? Not enough? Questions, doubts peeked, and vanished as my cock's heat took over. Lining up. Ready.

His soft center twitched on my head, excited but relaxing to let me in. His hot flesh eased around my tip, letting me feel the potential opening. I gripped my paws into his hips, digging in my blunt claws, panting hard. I had to regain control. I closed my eyes and fought my surging urge to thrust in hard, claim him as mine, breed him. Instinct thrummed, demanding.

Shadow panted beneath me, muzzle bowed to the soft nest. Hot flesh twitched against my head. When I made a tiny shift at his pucker, the black muzzle let out a low moan.

I did that. I had caused his reaction. What else could I cause? Moaning, whimpering, crying my name? I wanted to see it all. Wanted... Wanted.... My mind felt distant as inner heat took over. My insides warmed and twitched, knowing a need different than anything felt before.

I needed to make claim, needed to make mine, forever. Wanted to feel his heat. Keep him. Protect him. Mine.

I made little bumps into the softness, trying for some restraint through instinct's demands. The wolf's panting grew heavier, and I bumped too hard in my excitement, penetrating head-deep into the steamy passage, parting the muscles. Those little muscles flexed around me as the black wolf moaned, his head rising to show me his laid-back ears.

I nearly came right as the head popped in, almost reaching my end without the fulfillment I sought. Panting and groaning, I stilled, feeling the heat, but couldn't help the slow push I made into him, filling him with all I was. It was amazing, feeling him inside -the hot, uneven passage, slippery with heated lube -the little twitches of his insides to my every movement. Shadow moaned louder, matching my grunt as I found the deepest part of him, as far as I could reach.

"Hey!" a hard hoof pounded on the door to the little room. "You two better not be doing what I think you're doing!"

I froze, startled out of the haze of heat, feeling Shadow's matched clench around me. With a wince, I bent over the black back and held him to my chest. I lay my head on his shoulder, trying to keep still as I panted. All I could think as my head reeled was, 'This can't be happening!' But even as I was tight and frozen, Shadow began to tremble beneath me.

"Shadow?" I whispered, sudden concern for him overwhelming all other influences.

"Keep going, Tyler," he whimpered.

When he turned his muzzle to me, I noticed a tear trail, older than Sanway's yell. My heart felt seized, squeezed along with my collar bones. My whole chest tightened as I squeaked on an indrawn breath. But when I started to shift back, ready to whip myself out, Shadow rammed his rear back into me.

"Keep going, Tyler. Please?" he whimpered, going still. "It's bad memories. I don't care about them. I don't care about Sanway. I want this. Please?"

Though I felt teary too, and wanted to wilt right there, my Wulf was needing me, begging me to continue. He kept breathing out pleases. I stroked his side with a paw, trying to calm us both as Sanway grumbled outside the door. My cock twitched its demands into him, and his innards pulsed with his heartbeat.

I closed my eyes and licked his shoulder, my need beginning to take over again. Feeling myself deep inside my Wulf was more than I could be still with. I flexed tiny movements into him, unable, unwilling to stop myself.

"Yes," Shadow breathed, sounding calmer. "Overwrite my memories, Tyler. I need it. I need you."

Sanway's voice yelled through the door, "That's right, runts! Maybe I won't let you out. You piss me off too much!"

Shadow shifted his weight and raised a paw to give the door a familiar gesture. The single finger poised in defiance at the door an instant before he wobbled and had to put his paw back down. I didn't hold back my shocked snicker. His look at me, when he glanced back, was full of mixed emotions. But the determination was there.

How could I not match that? I gritted my teeth and made a careful bump into fluffy black wolf-rear. How would he react?

Shadow's exaggerated moan caused another bang on the door. Did I care? I grinned, feeling certainty and lust renew inside.

I closed my eyes and gripped around Shadow's middle, slowly humping him, feeling my length receive the ultimate stimulation. I was doing this. I was no longer a frontal virgin. My Wulf would always be my first. No one could ever take that away, and I wasn't about to let some antelope I hardly knew ruin the moment. Screw him.

I didn't realize I was growling until Shadow's moan broke through. I grinned my fierce desire and inched forward on his back, resettling my grip and getting some tiny amount deeper. The wolf groaned out - not exaggerated, but a true moan - from deep within.

'Someone' was yelling at the door. It didn't bother me. I didn't care. I didn't care what anyone thought, what anyone might know. My Wulf needed me, and I needed him.

What mattered was Shadow whimpering and moaning broken yeses beneath me. I rubbed my muzzle on his backfur and licked his shoulder again, humping faster, faster. I was losing control again, and this time I wouldn't stop.

Shadow shifted, moaning "harder," and I growled, instinct wanting him to stay still. I raised off his back as he trembled under me and arched my own back with my heavy thrusts. I reached new depths, as my budding knot gorged on sensation.

I was strong. I was taking the strong. We. Strong together.

My knot filled, stopping me from pulling back. Heat rose, blunt claws flexing into the wolf's hips, my head tilting up in triumph as my eyes closed. I growled my fierceness and rammed in deep, feeling pure instinct take over. My body took me on the ride of my life, thrusting and flexing without thought. Shadow yelped out as his own body spasmed hard in his climax, and his passage rippled on me, causing me to skyrocket.

Shadow was coming down as I reached my peak. My eyes snapped shut, voice grunting loud, passing my growl. I pulled Shadow's torso up to me, upright as my hips snapped against his in uneven spasms, my tail flicking behind my jerking rear. He shuddered out a moan and dropped to a solid all-fours again, and I went with him. The repeating rippled pleasures eased, and I heaved breaths on his back, my vision sparkling behind my lids.

Panting hard and unable to form words, I clung to Shadow, my weight slumped on his own panting body. Sanway had gone silent outside the door. I didn't care when. I licked my lips and caught up on my breath, feeling a huge sense of satisfaction and rightness about, well everything.

I twitched my rhythms into Shadow, adding to my mess inside. My seed would be a part of him forever, as his was already a part of me. It was right. I closed my eyes and felt us. Felt my Wulf. I felt the inner and outer responses of my calming body. My hot cock was in him, and I didn't know how long I'd be buried there, willingly trapped in the pulsing depth.

My breathing slowed, but the pleasurable twitches of my cock, feeding Shadow's cooperative body my cum, kept me from wanting to move a single muscle. I felt so relaxed I could sleep.

I guided us both to the bedding nest and stroked my Wulf's tender brow with soft fingers for an eternity. My nose buried in his shoulder and breathed every scent his body could produce. I knew where I belonged. It felt like I'd never known contentment outside Shadow. Being inside him, and other, wolfy moments were my promise of a better future.

Shadow reached down where my paw idled on his hip and guided my paw to his bare chest. My absent circles and touches must have calmed him further, for soon soft snores came from him. Could I feel it through my pulsing cock too?

How rare. How precious. Seeing Shadow asleep.

My ears relaxed, and I could have sworn I could feel his happy dreams. I rubbed my nose into his fur, licking behind an ear which didn't even twitch in his sleep.

Time passed. The bare bulb shone. My eyes drooped, not out of boredom, but out of deep contentment. My knot softened, and my cock made a slow slurp out of him. But the wolf didn't wake. His even breathing soothed me further, and my tracing paw went still as I too slipped loose of my consciousness.

***

BANG. A door slammed shut.

I snapped awake with Shadow, both of us sitting up, sharpened for danger. I blinked, blinked again. Food? A covered tray lay on the floor, by the closed entry.

"Damn gazelle," growled Shadow, dropping back to lying down. "Ruined the best dream I've ever had," he grumbled.

"He's not a gazelle," I smirked at his wolfy back. I wasn't in a hurry; the food was going nowhere. "I wish he'd let us out too, not just feed us dinner. It's dinnertime, right?"

"Yup," grumped Shadow. After a silent minute he growled and flicked an arm at the door, "How is he not a gazelle? He's got the horns and the legs and all. Sure looks like one to me."

I propped up on an elbow to kiss his cheek. "Not all antelopes are gazelles, but all gazelles are antelopes."

"What?"

I half-lay on his fluffy, black shoulder and kissed his nape. "Gazelles are a type of antelope."

Shadow huffed. "Ruined the best dream...."

"What was it? Do you want to share?" I smiled and winked at him. "Or am I not allowed to know?"

He was silent a moment, then his muzzle turned to me with a grin. In short order, I was on my back, under him. My paws were pinned above my head. I blinked up in happy surprise, finding gold above.

"I'll tell you if you can pin me," he waggled his eyebrows, giving my nose a quick swipe with his tongue.

"What about your healing wounds?" came my question with a frown.

"They're fine. I didn't hear any complaints as you rammed my ass," he couldn't hold back laughter.

He laughed harder even as I felt I should pass out, I was blushing so hard.

"I- I- You didn't say anything!" I blushed even harder, my heart dropping to my footpaws.

"Because it was fine, Foxy. You worry too much. You went at it just like an unpracticed virgin," he snickered. "Shouldn't you worry about my rear?"

"Did it hurt?" I whispered, blinking up at him, heart still sinking.

"Aw, don't worry so much," he snickered rubbing my head with a firm paw. "Do I seem hurt?"

"No...."

"I'm fine. So fine, I'm challenging you to wrestle me." He tapped my nose with a finger. "So... you think I'm too injured, and it will be an unfair match?" he grinned down at me.

"Well... no?" My heart recovered a few normal beats.

"Then trust me and see IF you can take me. Pup." He grinned down at me, and soon I felt infectious tugs at the corners of my muzzle.

"Pup, huh?" I play-growled. "Well, this pup has grown into a big fox... with teeth!"

As I snapped at his muzzle, the wolf grinned even wider. "Then let's see if the little fox can take on a big wolf!"

He straightened, to give me a fighting chance. I took it, heaving my weight high, hoping to catch above his center of gravity and destabilize him. He was quicker and grabbed me by my middle, flinging me, squealing into the bedding nest.

He pounced, and we grappled, laughing and panting in our bare fur. My heart rose in my chest, not in fear, but in happy excitement. I wanted- I needed to pin him. I wanted to know the dream, dammit.

I tickled him, and he snorted, pushing away and wiggling aside. I laughed harder and tried to catch him off guard to his shouts of "Cheater!"

We grappled more, and my sleeping cock took a little notice, though it was in fun stimulation, not for any dirty thoughts. He almost pinned me again, but I got a footpaw under him and shoved him off. I hesitated... had I gone too far?

His eyes were wild as he grinned. "It'll take more than that... PUP!" He launched at me grabbing my waist and rubbing his nose above my crotch.

My paw dropped to his head, and my startled gasp turned into a moan of my fresh need. When he looked up, the playfulness was still there, but something deeper burned within, the same 'something' growing in me.

I heaved up again, and we wrestled around, bumping into the shelves, panting more than laughing. I managed to pin him after a shove of my strong legs, but I suspected he'd let me.

I joined our muzzles with closed eyes, missing my mark a little, but reconnecting us in harmony. A slow movement began, a new struggle. The struggle took on a new meaning, one which devolved into more... playtime.

We didn't talk. The food we ate was cold. But it was worth it. So worth it.
