Chapter 2

Doctor Isaac was dragging me to our next destination, I asked him where we were going a few times but he always answered "You'll know when we get there."which annoyed me to no end each time. After a few minutes he let go of me and finally gave me the answer I was looking for as we were in front of an abandoned warehouse.

"Okay... Is something supposed to happen here?" I asked him as he dragged he to the door and pushed me in.

"You're the first one here so please entertain yourself while I get the others." He said then rushed out before I could utter a word.

" O t h e r s ? So I'm not doing this alone huh." I said as I looked for a means to pass the time but there was absolutely nothing "Oh boy."

<2 hours later...>

"What the hell is taking him so long?" I asked as I was still waiting for that shitty doctor while thrilling my P.As in the air to pass the time "How long does it take to find a few people?" I asked then started thinking about that , who is he getting? I know from what he said that there's at least two of them but who are they? What are their weapons? Why were they chosen? Are they like me? All those questions popped into my head then I quickly shook it.

"I'm never gonna figure it out! I can only wait and see for myself." I said then went back to waiting then I smelt the air and noticed someone's scent at the door { W a i t n o t h e r e'r e f o u r u n f a m i l i a r s c e n t s ." I then quickly climbed on of the support beams and silently drove Electrica into the ceiling and started hanging upside down as I kept my eye on the situation.

"I'm back and I brought the others." The voice of a certain freak said as he came in with four other people, two girls and two guys { D u h, W h a t o t h e r g e n d e r i s t h e r e, W A I T D O N'T A N S W E R T H A T! }.

I then scanned the other four the first one I noticed was a six foot plus an inch or two tall woman that was in her early 20s with waist length scarlet hair that partially covered her right eye which was green, and white skin wearing a red jacket which was unbuttoned so you see that was was also was wearing a gray crop top and so much skin achem, she also had a red assault riffle with a transparent blade above the barrel and a giant red pincher below with a Scizorite in it and in front of the handle and a chain at the end with another much smaller pincher at the end of it { S c i z o r, g o t i t .}, the next one was a girl who was five feet tall and seemed to be about two years younger than me with waist length silver hair sky blue eyes and pale skin, she wore a purple and black skirt and leggings which allowed her easy movement and she was a bit cute I might add { C u r s e y o u b r a i n w h y d o y o u a l w a y s d o t h i s!? } She had a khakkhara staff with two rings instead of one, the top ring had six sounding rings inside it with a moon stone floating in the centre of it, the bottom ring had two light pink ribbon tied to the sides of it and two black ribbons it a single blue stripe on each tied to where it meets the pole and a dusk stone floating in the centre { U m b r e o n a n d E s p e o n I'm g u e s s i n g, b u t h o w a r e t h o s e s t o n e s f l o a t i n g ? }, behind her was a five foot eight tall man that was about same age as Miss Red with blue spiky hair, black eyes and tan skin, he wore an purple short sleeve shirt with black jeans. he was equipped with a greatsword whose blade was shaped like a blue serpent with beige frills and a black horn and whiskers that went from the tip of the blade to it's hilt which had a Gyaradosite just where it meets the blade { G y a r a d o s w i t h a v e r y u n i q u e s h a p e, m a k e s m e t h i n k t h a t i t's a l i v e. } the final one was a man about the same age as me and was about two inches taller his eyes were closed and had shoulder length black hair and pale skin, his clothes were simple an aquamarine shirt with black jeans, gloves and boots, he had a bow whose top half was a cobalt wing with white inward feathers with a fluffy orange ear at the end of it which was a flame red blade with two ribbons and a fire stone attached to it, the first ribbon was the same colour as the blade while the second was the same as the wing but it a red end and a quiver with only a single arrow on his back { F l a r e o n a n d A S w e l l o w o r m a y b e a B r a i v e r y . }they were all dressed differently but all of them had a silver arm guard on their left arm and a grey over the their right leg I think that's some sort of uniform but I'm not exactly sure .

"Hey Gris where are you?" The good doctor said as I let go of Electrica and landed on the ground and raised my hand up as Electrica returned to it.

"Took you long enough to to get back. Now... WHY AM I HERE!?" I yelled at him as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Did I forget to mention? You're going to Orsay city to take out a Garchomp at it's Military Base."

"Can't you give me any more details?"

"I would but first I need to get you into your suit." He said then grabbed my arm.

"Wait, WHAT!?" He said then dragged me away.

<Red head's P.O.V>

I saw the grey haired boy yell shout curses as he was being dragged away by dad to who knows where, speaking of which... Hey guys my name is Arida Solis adoptive repeat ADOPTIVE daughter of Isaac Solis, I'm 22 years old and I'm hoping that you already know what I look like cause I don't want to go into detail with that

"I don't like him." I heard Drake say as I turned to faces him F.Y.I Drake is the blue spike head, the adorable ball of sunshine is Trish and the blind guy's Surge.

"Why not? He seems fun?" I said as he scoffed at me. "What about you guys? What do you think about him?"

"He's young but that's good. It means he has a lot of room for improvement like our little friend here." Surge answered pointing at Trish as she hid behind him.

"How bout you?" I asked her as she held out her head and was about to say something the the door that previous two went though burst open and she went back to hiding.

"I'm done!" Dad said as he dragged out the grey dude, he was wearing the same colours as before only instead of a long sleeve he wore a shirt which was sleeveless on his right arm with a glove that went from his hand to his elbow and long sleeved on his left with a black wrist guard instead of an arm guard like the rest of us, a silver guard on his left leg and had his swords on his back in a cross formation and had his hair tied in a ponytail.

"Why do I have to dress like this?" He asked still scanning his body.

"You'll find out soon. I'm gonna get things ready for the trip, you guys should get to know each other while I'm gone." Dad said as he left us alone.

"You heard the guy." I said as I extended my hand out to the boy "I'm Arida, nice to meet you." I said as he stared at my hand for a while before he gladly accepted it.

"Griseo, but you can call me Gris ." He answered with a smile then introduced himself to Trish and Surge, and then went to do the same to Drake.

"Hi. I'm-"

"I already know it. You call me Drake, this is over." He rudely interrupted then walked away.

"What's his problem?" He asked me as I shrugged my shoulders then dad came back and grabbed our arms.

"All done! Time to go!" He said then started dragging us towards a helicopter which was landed on the roof and strapped me and Gris to it way too tight.

"Too_tight_can't_breath." I said then he loosened the straps on the both of us then the others boarded the chopper with Surge as the pilot.

"That's my cue to leave. Good bye, try not to get killed it'll look bad on my record." he said then exited with that smirk of his as the doors closed and we started taking off.

"So... what can you guys do?" Gris asked the group

"I can use high impact ranged attacks like hyper beam and flash cannon along with a few slash attacks my ability is mold breaker, she can use all psychic and dark type special moves her ability is synchronise, Mr grumpy pants can use all water type moves his ability is water absorb, and Surge can use wide variety of moves but sticks to gust whirlwind and flamethrower his ability is guts and . What about you?"

"I can use any fire and electric type move."

"Nice, Also... how're you in a fight?"

"I hold my own."

"Got any good stories to pass the time?"

"Well there's this one time."

<Flashback 2 months ago.>

There I was doing my usually training regime slash for 5 minutes, trusts for 6, skills for 15, repeat. It was going smoothly for the first 3 hour until my mom called me in.

"What is it mom?" I asked her stretching my muscles.

"We're out of food, I need you to go into town to get more."

"Sure thing." I said as I was walking towards the door.

"Leave the swords." She said as I as dropped my swords and went to the town mall and searched for some food and medicine and grabbed whatever I thought would be useful and paid for everything and then she gave me an box full of all types of berries.

"Wait I didn't pay for this."

"It's on the house." She said with a smile as she wrapped up everything and then gave it back to me .

"Thank you sir, have a nice day." The cashier said as I left the mall and was one my way home.

"Hey you there!" I heard a voice call and I turned to see a thug behind { F u c k n o t t h e s e g u y a g a i n. }

"What do you fucks want this time?"

"Is that anyway to treat your old friends?" he asked { B T W t h e s e g u y s a r e a b u n c h o f t h u g s t h a t a t t a c k a n y o n e w h o h a s a P.A. }

"Last I recall I never had any friends."

"Ouch, that hurt. But not as much as this!" He said then tried to punch me but I caught it and flipped him unto the floor as I pinned him down.

"Word of advice, don't say things like that before you make a hit, it makes it easy to predict. Now... what do you want?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Another thug said as I heard footsteps and I turned to see 6 more of them walking towards me. { O f c o u r s e t h e y h a v e m o r e g u y s, s t u p i d s t u p i d s t u p i d. }

"Just come with us kid, we'd like to have a little chat with you." the guy that I assumed was the leader said as I knocked out the one I pinned down and got into my fighting stance.

"Make me." I said as they all came at me at once, I punched the first guy in the face a couple of times then threw him at another that was to my left then kicked the one on my right in the face leg sweeped the one behind me and kicked him in the chest as he went flying towards another "And then there was one." I said as I turned to face him as he pulled out a knife and charged at me. I sighed then grabbed his hand, flipped him, grabbed the knife then held it to his throat "I'll ask one more time. What. Do. You. Want?" I asked slowly as cut his neck a little.

"W-we were told to bring you to home base." He said fear easily noticeable in his voice as I held the knife so close that I could literally end him in that moment.

"Why?"

"I-I don't know! Honest!" He yelled in a panic as I raised him by his hair.

"Relax, I won't kill you. But bother me again and it might not be the same next time, got it?" I asked as he nodded then let him go and walked back home.

"I'm back." I said as I opened the door to see my mom laying down on the couch and made my way to the kitchen and started cooking something to eat.

"You're home late, Did something happen?"

"Oh, I bumped into those idiots at town."

"Which ones? You think a lot of people are idiots."

"And I'm usually right about that, but in this case it's those thugs."

"Did you beat them?"

"Without taking a hit."

"That's my boy." she said then went into a coughing fit as I handed her the medicine I bought along with some water to gulp it down.

"Take it easy mom, you don't want to overexert yourself."

"Sorry Griseo, I'm the parent here and you're the one taking care of me."

"It's okay mom, I don't mind. Plus you'll be getting better soon I promise."

"That's nice... I just wish... I could..." she was saying as she then drifted into a deep sleep and I carried her to her room then went back to the kitchen.

"You will get better mom, I'll make sure of it."

<Flashback end>

"You okay there? You seem a little on edge." she asked with some concern in her voice as I looked out the window to see that Orsay city was already in view as we were getting closer and closer into it { H o w l o n g w a s I o u t ? }

"I'm fine you don't have to worry..." I said as she placed her hand on my knee obviously seeing through my lie { I w i s h I w a s a b e t t e r l i a r. }

"I can tell this is personal so I won't push you, just know that we're a team so we have to look out for each other, got it?"

"I think I get it. Thanks Arida, it's nice to talk to someone."

"Any time." she said with a bright smile on her face as we entered the city.

"It's only a matter of time till the fighting starts, better be prepared."

"Gotcha." I said as I closed my eyes for a second to get focused, I grew to regret that as I felt the plane shake violently. I looked out the window to see that we were under attack by vast number of Staraptor, Pidgeot, Dragonite, Altaria and Salamance as well as some other long ranged attacks from the surrounding sky scrapers. They were focusing their attacks on us but the we managed to stay alive as Surge was skilfully dodging all the more... deadly, it was like that for a while before I heard a loud thud thud grew louder and louder until the door was slowly pried open by a Dragonite. It was about to launch a flamethrower attack at us but I quickly undid my safety strap and got in front of the attack as the flames were absorbed into Flanma then enveloped around my new suit { S o t h a t's w h a t h e m e a n t. N o t b a d. } I then immediately kicked the Dragonite as it burst into flames and then I double impaled it as it fell out.

I heard Arida release an impressed whistle as I saw a group of 5 Altaria heading our way charging an hyper beam,

"Shit!" I exclaimed as Trish got out of her seat and raised her staff as a light enveloped each of us then all of a sudden, I was on my own inside one of the skyscrapers as I saw the helicopter explode.

"Teleport, cutting it close there a little but at least I'm alive. Now to find the others." I said then walked towards the door then heard someone coming through the door { Y o u'v e g o t t o b e k i d d i n g m e! }
