"Well now sport fans! Its about 5 minutes to show time, so be ready for the end of the year training session. Don't forget, about 20 percent of you won't make the cut. So I'd advise you all to try your hardest! After this, you'll be full fledged dragoons, ready to take on the world and its evils. Just remember, this last test counts a lot! So be sure you use everything you learned from the past 10 years of training. I, your teacher, Professor Nocturnophile will be at the finish line. You know your groups, so as a team of 4 it should be no problem. Use teamwork and good luck!", shouted Noct, but at this time in his mid 30's, looking much younger and peppier. The message was over the loudspeaker, informing the dragoons-in-training.

Here it was, the beginning of the end it seemed. The last training session for the next generation of dragoons was about to commence. In this group, there were 120 dragoons who managed to reach this last part of the class. Among them were Eurasia, Zero, Nova Star, and Falcon. This was all taking place in a special part of D.O.O.P. in the lower levels where training rooms and rookie inductions took place. Ten different rooms, each with its own interchangeable obstacle courses for challenges to be presented to the inductees before the graduation ceremony. The teams were standing outside of their assigned room, waiting for the 5 minutes to pass.

Eurasia, age 27, had just learned that he was going to be the dragoon of fire. He was pleased with that, but Zero, age 26, was not too happy that he was going to master power over wind. However, he was going to master it a bit faster than Eurasia or Nova Star. Nova Star, age 26, did not care what power he was going to receive, but in the end, he would have a greater concentration of spirit energy within his power of ice. Falcon, age 25, was a different story, as he was never told what he was going to master. Although he did hope that what ever power he would get, he would try to master it to its full potential.

The objective of this final mission was to get through the obstacle course intact, but while working as a team. All four members have to reach the end, using their wits and common sense. The layout of the obstacle course was not revealed, so the teams were not sure what to expect. At this moment, the teams were discussing matters of the highest caliber.

"COME ON! THAT NAME SUCKS! We should be called "Eurasia's Guild", because I'm team leader of course. You agree don't ya Zero?", stated Eurasia, giving a big smile to the rest of the group.

"PFFFF! In your dreams Eurasia. The only way we'll be called "Eurasia's Guild" is if you submit it without us knowing. Plus that sorta shows that the group is revolves around you and we can't have that can we guys?", explained Zero, giving him a soft punch in the stomach.

Falcon nodded his head in agreement, chuckling from the craziness and tension within the group, "Ha! That's what you get Eurasia, for being a moron. We need a name that shows that we are a team. That's why we wanted to be on a team together after all those years. Too bad about Abu though...well not really too bad. He graduated 3 years earlier than us since he got all smart and stuff. Still, we can't lose out to him now! We need that team name quickly. Nova, what do you think?"

Away from the group, as usual, Nova waited anxiously outside the door to the obstacle courseand counting down the minutes in his mind. With a stern tone he did not bother looking towards them, "Well, you know my answer to that. If you can't pick a name, use our old name. The one we used back home...", replied Nova, shrugging and proceeded to wait.

Still recovering from his injury, Eurasia sprang back up with an important idea, "OF COURSE! JABABAM! The code name for the four of us who's meaning only we understand. But..just makes me wonder if anyone will question how it looks. It does look and sound...sorta zonky you know? You guys really---whoa! Its time!"

The door began to open, mist seeping through the small holes as the door opened upwards. Then when it was fully open, a loud buzzer signaled the start of the mission. Nova went in first, "GUYS! LETS DO IT!", he shouted, the rest of them following behind.

As Eurasia entered, he started to think about what was going to happen, "Brother... I'm finally going be a dragoon..just like I promised."

-

At the finish line, there was a whole group of teachers and important figureheads awaiting the arrival of the who were able to complete the last task. The finish line was actually the Room of Judgment, with a stage in the middle where everyone was gathered. Firon, Noct and Stanis were also awaiting to see who were going to get their dragoon spirits. Firon, age 59, and Noct, age 35, were discussing something while Stanis awaited behind a desk, bored out of his mind but able to keep steady by getting the paperwork done. Abyssion, age 30, kept his eyes glued to one of the many screens which portrayed the action of what was going on in the obstacle courses. Of course, he was watching his little brother's team ruffle their way out of trouble and solving problems that were to test his team's skills.

"So you see Noct, I'm going to retire from being the Chief Commander of Missions. You, yourself, should know that you are next in line for the job. Thing is...its too much work for me and I'm getting to that point where I just can't handle it. I'm going to be something a bit more simpler and able to get me out of the office. I'm counting on you to handle it alrighty?", asked Firon, putting a hand on to his shoulder and shaking him gently.

"Well...I don't know Firon. I love teaching the new generation and I have so much fun. The thrill of passing on my skills to the next generation is a feeling That's incredible. I'll have to think about this for a while ok? I just..can't really give you an immediate answer at this time.", answered Noct, really trying his best to think if its best for him to switch jobs.

The job of being the Chief Commander of Missions was indeed a big job. It requiredcomplete organization of every mission and the objectives within each mission for every dragoon. The work itself could take weeks at a time before things died down. Even when things are calm, they pick up quickly and without warning. Noct at this time was a simple teacher and motivator to the recruits of D.O.O.P.. He did his job with a 99 percent success rate in his classes every year, which made him the most proficient of all the facility in D.O.O.P..

"Eurasia...come on. Falcon, don't do that! Nice work Zero! Nova...errrm...yea, good job. Not how I've would've

done it but it got the job done. You're already halfway there!", muttered Abyssion, really excited at the action happening on screen.

Back in the obstacle course, about 20 minutes into the action so far, the guys are almost at the end. The four were sprinting through a hallway side by side, having no trouble so far. Most of the puzzles at the beginning was a maze with various traps. But things were going to be tougher from here on out.

"DUCK! THEN JUMP! THEN DODGE!", shouted Eurasia to the group, as a buzz-saw came out of the walls from both sides at eye level. The four ducked in sync to avoid the spinning blades, only to be greeted by a floor in front of them being taken away by a trap door. At the last second, they all jumped about 6 feet and grabbed the ledge. From below them, a spiked floor began to rise up at them with a speed that was able to impale them. All four kicked the wall and sprung their bodies up to the other side before the floor hit the ceiling with a frightening crash.

Everything came fast, but break time had to wait. Holes opened up from the sides of the walls and began to fire arrows with flaming tips. They had to hold off the rest after the barrage of arrows. Eurasia whimpered with every arrow that came close to him, rolling around and jumping to get out of the way. Zero acrobatically flipped and bounced about the whole way, reaching the safe area at the end of the hallway first. Nova ran straight through, breaking arrows that came too close with his fists and legs while dodging the rest. Falcon made it through with no problem as well, following Zero's example of acrobatics but messed up on around the end.

"Ack!", yelled Falcon, getting hit at the last minute in the leg. The arrow's shot grazed him in the shoulder as he landed, causing him to lose his footing and crash into the door leading to the final puzzle.

"FALCON!", shouted Eurasia, Zero and Nova at the same time, rushing to his aid. From first glance, it was only a scrape but the fire gave it a nasty burn as well. Falcon felt that he was holding his team back, so he held in the pain and got up quickly, "Ugh...its nothing. Lets hurry before we are late..."

-

About 20 minutes later, the ceremony for each team had finally begun. four out of the twenty teams were unable to complete the course and were sent back to their homes as failures. The ceremony had finally begun for the Eurasia's team, everyone yelling in content from the stands full of dragoons. Team JABABAM walked in from the exit of the obstacle course, all of them with their armor scorched and looking exhausted.

Eurasia waved his hands in the air while jumping up and down in joy, "Yes! Yes! We finally did it!", he shouted at the crowd, then looking back at his team. Zero and Falcon were just as excited as Eurasia, blowing fake kisses to the crowd in a joking fashion. Nova grinned and just raised one arm into the air to symbolize their victory. Down the red carpet of success and onto the stage where their reward awaited.

Stanis rose up as the four dragoons stepped onto the stage, standing side by side and looking at the crowd with such pride. Nocturnophile came from the side and tapped Falcon on the shoulder. He was given the signal to follow him, but only him and no one else. Eurasia noticed that it was weird to call a dragoon away from something as important as a ceremony but seeing how it did happen, it had to be important.

The crowd went quiet as Stanis went up to the microphone at the front of the stage, clearing his throat as he prepared for speech, "Ahem...thank you all for coming to this glorious day. The day that D.O.O.P. will have some of its finest recruits join the dragoon family! Through their hard work and dedication, they have gone through many rigorous tasks and training their bodies day by day. But as you know, strength doesn't make a dragoon. As our new Chief Engineer Abu as taught us, intelligence goes a long way in being successful. At this time, words are not enough to express when I see the next generation come our way. Eurasia here is the brother of Dragoon 20Ab, the finest D.O.O.P. has to offer, and it seems like determination and strength runs in the family. I think I speak for all of us when I say, WELCOME NEW DRAGOONS! Let us take a moment of silence to remember such a fantastic time in our "

Shouts of encouragement were being said by every dragoon in the stands, but things quieteddown quickly. Things couldn't be better for the dragoons, the silence giving them a moment to reflect on their hardships that they had to endure to reach this point.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT I CAN'T BE A DRAGOON!? NOT AFTER ALL THE WORK I DID!", screamed a voice, so loud that it echoed in the Room of Judgement and made every stir with surprise. Then the sound of a struggle made everyone realize that something was wrong. The alarm was then pulled and filled the base with the red alert siren.

Everyone began to run out of the room and to find out what's the matter. Eurasia was most worried, looking towards Zero and Nova, "Guys...that voice was Falcon! Something must have happened...lets investigate!"

"Damn...not now...but this will have to do. I'll come back for the rest another time.", said a man dressed in all red. A full body suit that hide even his face in order to protect his identity. He quickly took away his P.I.C. from the computer and prepared to exit the closed room quickly.

From outside the closed room, the door was broken down with what seemed like an explosion. N.D.'s voice could be heard giving orders, "Get him! Do not let the traitor escape...no one betrays me without paying with their life!", he shouted, a lion and a wolf entering the room. The lion had two indentical swords, dressed in all black with the letters "N.C." on the chest area. The wolf was blue and wearing similar black attire, but his weapons were two Kodachis in hand.

"Well...I see that N.D. is still angry..too bad. Laters.", said the mysterious man, warping away before anything can happen to him.
