Sorry for changes in tone. These are drafts and I really trying to get my thoughts down.

I laid curled up near the entrance. After awhile, the keepers would drop some food for me as they came in. It took some time to make them think I was harmless. I had to deal with the prodding that gave an uncomfortable sensation not like electricity. As they left me alone, I watched. They would swipe a card key to open the main door. This morning would be my chance.

I took my spot in the early morning where it was still dark. Some birds next to my exhibit started chirping as they were woken from their sleep. My heart started to pound that caused my body to twitch or tremble. I had to take deep breaths to calm myself as I heard the beep and unlocking of my door. In stepped in the new employee, a young wolf and he was alone. As he walked next to me, he reached in his bucket to scoop some food for me. At that moment, I kicked the back of his knee. The wolf yipped in surprise and try to catch himself from the fall. I reached for the prod and detached it from his belt and bit into it as I search for his card. I can see the fear in the wolf's eyes who started yelling that grunting language. He tried to stop me as I manage to grab the card. I gave him a hard kick in his stomach and he folded in pain. I swiped the card and escaped into a large room. I started two my keepers where leaning on the wall. I grabbed the food cart that was next to me and pushed it into them as they scrambled towards me. One dodged to the left while the other fell backwards from the force.

I parried the keeper's attempt to prod me and slammed my own into his neck. He yelled loudly as he fell to the floor holding his neck. I placed the key in my mouth and grabbed the second prod as I continue down the left of the room to a large double door. As I near, another keeper was just coming in. Stealing the opportunity, I smashed into a feline distinguished by it's yowl as I pressed forward. I stubbled a bit as my bare feet made contact with the graining path. Wincing, I kept running the path that seems to follow behind the exhibits. I round a corner and stood in shock, just a few more feet was a gate that leads out of the place. I snapped out of my dazed at the sudden alarm. Quickly I ran to the gate as the few employees that were still coming through the gate stopped and looked around unsure of what to do. Only one noticed me and yelled out and nimbly got passed though gate to slam it shut. The others just ran off to the sides when I ran passed. I slid to slow my myself down, gritting on the card key from the pain when I slammed into the gate. The fur held the gate shut using his weight. I prodded at his paws and he quickly fell back giving way for me to pass through the gate.

I ran and ran though the early morning with no real direction as I had no idea of what to expect. I was starting to feel the repercussion of being barefooted. Despite being naked in the exhibit, I was becoming acutely aware of it now and needed to cover up soon. Some lights blinked just over a hill. It looked like a small community. I sneaked in and out of some of the yards, picking off bits of clothing that were forgotten or drying out on lines. Found one large shirt to drape over me and made poor shoes out of some small shirts. Grabbed a bit more clothing and slinked out as the light began to grow over the horizon.

I was tired as I left the houses behind me. I followed a road only ducking away whenever I heard the humming of their odd vehicle passing by. What was I to do next, I asked myself. Feeling an overwhelming regret for escaping where I was safe. There was food and shelter. There was a clan of humans that rejected and fought with me. Not to mention the onlookers watching or pointing and I was naked for all to see. No, I had to leave and now all I can do was keep moving forward in this strange world.
