Author's Note:

Hello again! All right, this is what some of you have been waiting for! The journal I left in terms of the "chosen six" well, some of you will make your very first appearance in this chapter, so I hope I don't mess up your characters too bad and please enjoy! I have had allot of mixed reactions and feelings about this in terms of it messing up the plot of Dragon Storm and all that hotness and butter, but I ASURE you my work will make sense. I will not confuse anyone... hopefully. I can only imagine how some of the Dragon Storm Fans must feel toward this sudden change in the story, but just give it a chance and you will finally be able to see the truth that I have provided for you...

-PREVIOUSLY ON DRAGON STORM-

"Nezbit, you're the idiot here! My lance only houses all my powers so if I can't touch my lance that's not a problem. You see, I can hold onto five G.O.N.s at one time. The more G.O.N.s I hold onto the more ineffective they become, but since you cut off my sense of touch, you also released those restrictions. In other words... I am now temporarily allowed to use all five of my G.O.N.s as if they were at full strength!" Aisu explained while a gust of wind rushed past him, making his teal hair flow in the wind.

"NNOOOOO!!!!" Nezbit yelled in defeat.

" It's over, Nezbit! Go to hell!" Aisu said and then picked up an ice shard and watched as the color of the shard became negative in coloration and then threw it at Nezbit.

When it stabbed him he instantly vanished. There was nothing left of Nezbit. Aisu's warping G.O.N. was normally hard to use, but since he wasn't being restricted at the moment he got the job done with ease. Aisu knew he would never see Nezbit again because whatever is hit with that power is sent to another dimension forever.

"Hmph. Weakling." Aisu said and strapped his lance to his back and walked along the shores.

Aisu walked until he noticed a dock. Rio's quintessence readings were faint, but they were still in the air. Aisu knew that he wasn't to far behind and let out a laugh.

"Fur-ex?" Shayde asked.

"Yes. Fur-ex is a type of retrovirus that targets and kills only specific Anthros. First it infects the macrophages in the victim's body. Fur-ex contains "smart" enzymes, created through protein engineering. They're programmed to respond to specific genetic patterns in the cells." Kilala explained.

"Those enzymes recognize the target's DNA?" Lazz asked.

"Right. They respond by becoming active, and using the macrophages, they begin creating TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor) epsilon!" Kilala explained.

"Huh?" Rio asked.

"It's a type of cytokine, a peptide which causes cells to die. The TNF epsilon is carried along the bloodstream to the heart, where they attach to the TNF receptors in the heart cells!" Kilala explained.

"And then... they cause a heart attack?" Lazz asked.

" The heart cells suffer a shock and undergo an extreme apoptosis. Then... the victim dies." Kilala explained.

"Apoptosis... you mean the heart cells commit suicide..." General May said.

"So that's what happened to the DARPA chief and the Dragons tech president! Because you injected me with nano-machines right before we woke Rio up and they only died when I was around them." Lazz said.

"I forced you to fail your mission Lazz." Kilala said.

"You must have programmed that thing to kill me to, huh?" Lazz asked.

"..........................." Kilala remained silent.

"Do I still have time?" Lazz asked.

"..............................." Kilala remained silent.

"But I can't go yet... I still have a job to do!" Lazz exclaimed.

"Listen, Lazz... I'm not the one who made the decision to use Fur-ex..." Kilala said.

"You weren't?" Lazz asked.

"No... it... it was... Quicksilv- AAAGGGGRRRRRHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kilala screamed.

"KILALA!!!!" Rio yelled.

"Rio, Lazz, May, Shayde, I can't allow Kilala to make any more unauthorized transmissions!" Quicksilver stated.

"Dad!?" Rio asked.

"What?" Lazz asked.

"That's right! Kilala has been removed from this operation!" Quicksilver stated.

"QUICKSILVER!!! WHAT DID SHE MEAN SHE WASN'T THE ONE TO DECIDE UPON INJECTING ME WITH FUR-EX!? LET ME TALK TO HER!!!" Lazz yelled.

"I won't! She's under arrest!" Quicksilver stated firmly.

"Quicksilver! You double crossed me!" Lazz exclaimed.

"Lazz, there's no time for that! Kilala has been acting weird from the beginning, and I even had Eubanks keep a close eye on her... she has been seen sending coded messages to BLACKFANG! I have had enough! I will not let you talk to your commanding officer like this any longer! Right now, your job is to STOP the Pseudo-Chimera Adult project! You are dismissed..." Quicksilver demanded and ended the call.

Everyone stood there and blankly stared at one another confused as to what they should do next. They all felt betrayed one way or another... and suddenly, nothing mattered to them any more... not each other, not the mission, not anything.

OPENING#3:

Dragon Storm

CHAPTER 36: Zero hour! The destruction of Fur Dreams City begins!

(These events undergo while Rio and company are on Dragon Talon Island)

"It happened on that one fateful night. None of us were prepared for what was about to happen."

A speeding train, going so fast as if to look like a blur. Golden sparks flew off of the metal rails and gave everything a golden glow. The loud screeching noise made by the train's wheels were becoming increasingly annoying and fast. The train was now passing over a vast open plain with a massive lake in the middle. It was around sunset so the lake reflected the mixture of purple, orange, and pink colors from the partly cloudy sky. The lake was also glistening with what seemed to look like a thousand golden sparkles which gave off a warm innocent feeling, as if a calm right before the storm. The vast grassy plains were all in the distance, so it was hard to make out any various forms of wildlife, at least non-anthro wildlife.

The train proceeded to speed along at the same high speeds carrying it's passengers toward the city, Fur Dreams. Inside the train was a combination of dark blue and dark gray for the floor and seats. On those seats, were seated passengers, all wearing black and blue cloaks that covered their respective faces. They were all seated across from each other not saying a word, in fear of being hounded by the patrol guards on board the train walking up and down the walkway in between the passengers. The Fur Dream guards were strong, but were nothing compared to the guards that the D.E.O. (Dragon Enforcers Organization) had to offer. They were carrying standard Assault rifles and wore armored battle suits that had lights glowing from it; evidently it housed a power source inside.

"You serious?"

" Be quiet." Tia whispered firmly.

"Hmmm... best of luck." The Ocelot looked for a second revealing his creamy colored fur, before returning his gaze back to the floor of the train.

Tia, Kilala's daughter and Rio's childhood friend, was among the passengers with her ocelot partner. She wasn't in the best of moods and was waiting for her chance to strike. Suddenly, the speeding train rushed in between a canyon and in to a cavern. The cavern was littered with glowing blue waters and colorful crystals. They grew out of the ceiling and from the walls, the railroad swirled and swayed in between them all, much like a roller coaster. It was really dark inside the cave; the only thing that emitted light was the crystals. Just then, the train passed through an energy gate that acted as a means of refueling the train with materialized gas, inside the train's gas tank. It didn't come as a surprise to anyone considering they lived in the time era 2992. It was a highly advanced year to live in, and one where almost anything was possible. Not one second after they passed through the gate did the train rush over a small bump in the railroad, which caused everyone to lose their balance for only a moment.

However, that was all the time Tia needed, she quickly got up and rushed to the staggered patrol guard and flipped over him using her weight to send him falling to the ground. As he did, the patrol guard dropped his remote. Tia quickly rushed over to it and smashed it with her foot. Suddenly, the energy handcuffs on everyone's hands had vanished. Everyone let out sighs of relief and excitement as they checked to see if there hands were okay.

"She did it!" The ocelot said, now standing up.

Suddenly, two more patrol guards walk into the caboose where all the commotion was coming from and began to open fire at Tia. Tia quickly jumped into the air leaving behind her black and blue cloak and landing right in front of them tripping them both, sending them both to the ground and dropping their weapons. She then quickly stood back up and faced them. Everyone got a good look at her. She was a blue dragoness with black stripes on her skin. She had a light brown hair color that looked nicely groomed and well kept with no split ends, and it even seemed to flow down to about her shoulder blades and appeared to be shiny even. Her royal blue eyes seemed to match her blue skin. She was wearing blue jeans and her favorite Zelda shirt. It had a picture of Link; "the hero of time" while the rest of the shirt was black.

She quickly turned around and saw the patrol guard she downed earlier got back up and pointed his gun at her, but she was to quick and grabbed the gun and elbowed the patrol guard in the face knocking him out. She then took the Assault rifle and rushed over to the other door that led into the next caboose and opened the door and opened fire. Her guess was right, the patrol guards were already in position to open fire when the doors opened, she would have been shot if she didn't shoot first. However, another guard emerged seemingly from out of nowhere and rushed at her. Tia quickly kicked the guard away and off his feet and fired at another guard who had tried to flank her.

Suddenly, Tia noticed her ocelot partner rush past her and to a small helpless cub. She looked around to cover his blind spots and took everything in. The ocelot rushed to the cub and kneeled down in concern for the small cub.

"Are you alright? I'm not with the D.E.O." The ocelot asked with care.

Just then, Tia noticed a sound and quickly performed a back flip and dropkicked a patrol guard in the face, knocking him out cold. Then, while still in the air, she shot her Assault rifle and took out four more patrol guards. They all fell to the ground in pain with heavy thuds; while Tia landed on the ground safely, not even so much as to break a sweat. Meanwhile, The ocelot led the group of passengers, all now with an assault rifle of their own, toward the next caboose.

"So far, so good. They all want to fight." The ocelot said calmly.

"Good for them." Tia said in a lean tone of voice while throwing her assault rifle down in disgust because of it running out of ammo.

Suddenly, the train lit up brightly because of the entire city lights. They just exited the dark cavern and entered Fur Dreams city. It was an overwhelming and extremely massive futuristic city for Anthro-kind. The view made everyone's jaw drop, except for Tia who just got annoyed with it all. The train was now going even faster and they all seemed to be suspended in the air off the ground. By now, the sun had set and it was already nightfall. Everyone took in the massive city in awe and all the aircraft zooming everywhere even faster then the train they were on. There were tons and tons of tall buildings everywhere, each one towering over the next.

Suddenly, some of the aircraft began to open fire on the train. They even shot their explosive rounds at the train. They were not playing around now, they wanted to stop that train for good, or worse, destroy the train and everything on it. They could do nothing, but take cover inside the speeding train. However, Tia was not going to put up with it any longer. She was highly upset at this point.

"Give me that!" Tia said in a lean voice again and snatched an RPG from one of the passengers. There was a small struggle over it, but Tia simply punched the fox in the face.

Tia opened the train's side door and let the strong gusts of wind flow into the train and took aim out side the train door a bit and then fired the war head at the aircraft. The aircraft swayed out of the way and the warhead missed and hit a nearby building.

"Damn." Tia mumbled.

Tia then shot again and missed a second time, this time hitting the next energy gate and destroying it. Just then, the aircraft spun around and shot out lightning from its cannons and hit the railroad up ahead. This caused the train to jump into the air and land back on the tracks a moment later, but more then half of the train's cabooses were lost because of that. The remaining half of the train kept speeding along the tracks until suddenly, the aircraft landed on top of the train causing it to slow down until it had completely stopped. The aircraft began to roar as if it was a living thing. It even pounded on the train's roof like a wild beast.

"Run!" The ocelot said in fright.

"Hmph." Tia muttered and ran up through the destroyed ceiling to go put a stop to it.

"I meant away!" The ocelot yelled.

The ocelot then decided to climb up through the destroyed ceiling of the train to catch up with Tia. When he got up on the roof he saw Tia take aim with the RPG again and fired it right at the aircraft at point blank. A giant gust of wind flew past them both and the aircraft machine roared again. It then quickly jumped up into the air and landed with a heavy and loud thud, sending more gusts of wind flying past them both. Tia threw the RPG in disgust just like before, because of it running out of ammo. The ocelot backed away as far as he could before reaching the edge of the train.

"Hey,hey,hey! Let's be rational now!" The ocelot yelled.

Suddenly, the aircraft machine swiped one of its huge chainsaw like arm at both of them, but to its surprise, they both jumped over it and landed safely.

"Man, I hate all this attention." The ocelot mumbled.

" Hmph." Tia said.

"The D.E.O. are sending the big guns now. What do we do?" The ocelot asked in fear.

"Watch and learn!" Tia said in a lean voice once again.

Tia then took out her blade and dashed at the machine. Meanwhile, the ocelot reached for his shoulder holster and pulled out his machine pistol. He held it in his left paw and did a little jig with it to keep himself on his feet. Tia sliced at the aircraft machine and damaged it slightly, but then got hit by one of it's arms and got smacked to the ground, but Tia broke the fall by landing on her hand and performing a back hand spring.

"I'll give you cover fire, Tia!" The ocelot yelled and shot his machine pistol rapidly at the aircraft machine.

"Show off!" Tia said and dashed at the aircraft machine again this time cutting its wires inside by cutting into it deeper.

The amount of damage the aircraft had taken now was unreal and it roared in pain. Suddenly, the aircraft machine jumped back and dug its arms into the side of the caboose they were on and shook it wildly.

"It's trying to throw us off!" The ocelot exclaimed.

"Fall back!" Tia said firmly.

"Hah! Not so tough now, huh?" The ocelot said while running back.

Suddenly, the machine activated its jet boosters on its back and shook the caboose even more so. It shook and roared even more, it wanted them both dead and fast.

"Hey, that wasn't like a challenge, now. All right?" The ocelot said in panic.

"Time to go, Wade!" Tia yelled and grinded along the side of the train to get to the next caboose.

"Ah, I'm coming!" Wade said in panic.

"JUMP!" Tia yelled and they both jumped onto the next caboose as the machine aircraft destroyed the caboose they were just on.

Wade was recovering from the fall as Tia stood up right away. Wade then stood up and his black and blue cloak just seemed to slide right off of him to reveal the rest of his features. He was a male Ocelot who had creamy colored fur with brown spots covering his body. He wore a black jacket over his torso's whit chest fur and brown pants that matched his brown eyes. He looked like a 23 year old because of how young and in shape he looked. He also wore black fingerless gloves, which he was still gripping his machine pistol with. He stood about 6'2 tall and had black fur that formed rings on his tail.

"Heads up!" Tia warned.

"This... thing... won't give up!" Wade said in between breaths.

"What did you expect from the D.E.O.'s war-mechs!" Tia stated and braced herself.

The aircraft war-mech then landed in front of them both and raised its tail up to fire a laser beam at them both. Suddenly, Wade grabbed Tia and teleported three meters away. The war-mech got angry that it missed its target and roared loudly. It aimed its laser again and tried to hit them both, but missed every time because of Wade, who kept teleporting out of the way of the laser.

"How are you doing that!?" Tia asked in shock as she pushed Wade off of her.

"Hey, you don't have to be so mean, I just saved your life." Wade said.

"Answer me!" Tia shouted.

"I can teleport. Its my G.O.N." Wade said blandly.

"Hmmm... Keep it up. Distract it." Tia said.

With that said, Wade got it's attention and used his G.O.N. (Gene of Nuker) to teleport meters away from where the war-mech aimed its laser beams. He kept teleporting so he had enough time to shoot his machine pistol at it after ward before having to teleport again. Tia then suddenly, appeared behind the war-mech and placed her hands on its back and watched as an extremely bright light emitted. Wade covered his eyes because of the blinding light. He then noticed surges of electricity and greenish-bluish waves of light form. When the bright light had vanished, so did the War-mech.

"H-how did you do that?" Wade asked in shock.

"Leave me..." Tia said and put her blade away.

"Whew... fine... whatever... we did it! That's... all that matters." Wade said out of breath.

"You used too much of your quintessence. That's why you're out of breath now, huh? Your careless." Tia said.

"Hmph. Aren't you supposed to protect civilians, solider?" Wade asked.

What did you sa-" Tia said, but was interrupted.

"I mean you are part of D.E.O., aren't you?" Wade asked while getting up and putting away his machine pistol back into his shoulder holster.

"............" Tia remained silent and covered the tattoo on her arm. It is a mark the D.E.O. gives those who join their forces. So she didn't want to admit it.

" What are you doing stopping the death sentences of these criminals? Why don't you tell me that?" Wade asked.

"I was a solider." Tia said in her usual lean voice.

Tia said and jumped off the train and landed on a downward hill that took her to a black bared fence that she easily jumped over. Wade followed her and made his way through to where she was. They found themselves in an apartment complex titled, Fur Lake apartments. They looked around and saw the destruction everywhere. They noticed the number of the apartment they were standing right outside of. Number 38. They knew that they were deep in the complex and had to get to the first building in order to get out, so that's just what they did. Tia grunted and walked off ahead of Wade.

"Hey! Where are you going? Man, I just can't catch a break, huh?" Wade sighed and followed Tia within the complex.

======================= (Meanwhile) ============================

Elsewhere in Fur Dreams city, two furs were on a mission. In the middle of all the chaos, they were all they had, each other. They ended up getting deep with in the city and not encountering any troubles, but that was soon to change.

"Tucker! Will you hurry up? I am going to leave you behind!"

"Ah, No worries, Sam!" Tucker said encouragingly.

Samiake just simply rolled his eyes because he didn't really like his name to be shortened. Samiake was an otter with highly skilled archery traits. He could hit his target under almost any satiation and always had a few tricks up his selves, not that he had any. He hated wearing cloths as far as shirt and pants go. He walked around everywhere in his favorite loincloth and small pouch for his small items and that was it. He wore his bow in his quiver; which was strapped to his back. Samiake also had unusual red eyes and a tattoo on his forehead. His fur color was a light brown, but around his arms and legs his fur fades into a jet-black color, it was also black on the underside of his tail; which swayed side to side as he walked, taking point, in front of Tucker who was still new at the whole mercenaries business.

"Would it kill you to stop annoying me by nick-naming me, Tucker?" Samiake asked while frowning.

"You little ripper! I hope I don't die, Come on mate, you shouldn't be thinking like that now." Tucker said while roller-skating slowly behind Samiake.

"Oh yeah right kid. Then how should I be thinking? We are on a mission in the middle of some kind of futuristic city and everything has already gone to hell before we even got here!" Samiake summed up sarcastically.

" Sam, mate, No worries, as long as I got me boomerangs everything will be right as rain!" Tucker said cheerfully.

"Great, a true blue aussie hero who is on his first mission. We are sure to complete our mission." Samiake said sarcastically.

Samiake watched as Tucker skated around with out much care of the destroyed state the city was in. Samiake wondered if he was to young to know any better or just didn't care. After all, Tucker was a Tasmanian tiger and was only 16 while Samiake was 22 and way more experienced. Samiaked noticed some of Tucker's features and took them in. He was a short tiger in height and was just like Samiake in his preference in cloths. While he did wear his baggy cargo pants, he didn't wear a shirt. His eyes were a forest green color. His short hair fur was dark sandy colors with two black stripes on his back and just like Samiake his fur also faded into a jet-black color, but only for his arms. He had a dragon dagger and wore it on his waist in its sheathe. He wore black fingerless gloves in which he would use to grip his boomerangs, and his roller-skates, but other then that he would wear nothing else.

"You okay, mate?" Tucker asked.

"You're not going to betray me, right?" Samiake asked sarcastically.

"Hey mate, no worries, okay? Umm... what does "betray" mean anyway?" Tucker asked dumbfounded.

" Argh... never mind Tucker." Samiake said annoyed.

Suddenly, a small group of robots dropped down and surrounded both of the furs. They were both surprised by this and while Samiake took out his gauntlets and slid them on his arms, Tucker jumped and panicked.

"What are you waiting for? Its kill or be killed, Tucker!" Samiake warned.

Just then Samiake reached for his bow and gathered the nearby shadows to form a shadow arrow. He launched them from his bow so fast the robots could not react in time. Meanwhile, Tucker took out his folded boomerang and quickly unfolded it and then threw it with a curve. While Samiake's shadow arrow hit three robots and destroyed them all, Tucker's boomerang swirled around and hit two more robots once in the front and then once again on the boomerang's return.

"This is getting fun, huh mate?" Tucker said.

"There are to many! They have us surrounded! Let's end this Tucker... remember what we talked about?" Samiake asked quickly.

"Yup!" Tucker replied and pointed his boomerang in the air.

Suddenly, a bright light engulfed both Samiake and Tucker and then vanished quickly. Samike then turned around and ran toward Tucker. Tucker punched the ground and caused a tremor and forced everyone into the air with massive strength. Tucker then jumped up as high as the surrounding buildings and watched as Samiake was in the air with him and grinned. Samiake then used Tucker as a springboard and jumped off of him to get extra height. Meanwhile, Tucker threw his boomerang and watched it zipped around at lightning speeds unlike before and hit all the robots that could do nothing in the air. Tucker then caught his boomerang while Samiake was finished preparing his attack. Just then, shadow bows and arrows appeared from seemingly every direction and self-launched themselves, the shadow arrows headed downward toward all the airborne robots.

"ALL DIRECTIONAL ARROW!!!" Samiake yelled out as all the shadow arrows pinned all the robots back to the ground and robbed them of their shadows completely.

During Tucker's decent, he lifted up his leg with his roller-skate on it and smashed into the ground with an extremely powerful axe kick. It not only caused destroyed the remaining robots, but it also caused a huge tremor and even made two skyscrapers fall down right beside where the two furs had landed dramatically back-to-back. A heavy gust of wind blowing past them both as Samiake crossed his arms and closed his eyes and Tucker lowered his head while on one knee and smiled. The wind made their respective fur and cloths flow along its current.

"Hmph, not bad, Tucker." Samiake complemented.

"I reckon I could have taken them all on, mate." Tucker bragged.

======================= (Elsewhere) ============================

Elsewhere in fur Dreams city, a large group of D.E.O. soldiers walked. They had every type of weapon you could ever wish for. They all wore their signature blue D.E.O. uniforms and I.D.s. Just then, they all rushed out of the way and made room for their captain. They saluted him while standing completely still. They stood in this fashion not even so much as blinking.

"Out of my way noobs! Never send a amateur to do a captain's job!"

"Captain! Captain!" A black dragon ran up to the captain out of breath.

"What is it now?" The captain said while taking out his Ipod touch.

"It looks like the war-mech we sent out never came back, in fact... it was destroyed!" The black dragon said in between breathes.

"What!? How is that-" That was all the captain could get out before another dragon interrupted him.

"Captain Jazz! Its the small group of robots we sent out... they... they are all gone! Not even a single one left!" The brown dragon exclaimed.

"What the!? Interesting... fine. You have my authorization to release the LV. 2 war-mechs! I don't know what's going on in this city, but that Phantom dragon must be stopped. It's the only reason why we are here in the first place! Let's capture it and take it back to the D.E.O.!" Captain Jazz said firmly while inputting a code on his Ipod touch and laughing evilly.
