In the year 2025, a new virus was discovered in the poor parts of California. At first, it seemed innocent like a new version of the flu. People who caught Sterile Rage, as it was named later, would get the usual cough, runny nose, and a headache, but then the symptoms got worse.
Eventually, the death count of Sterile Rage would rise more and more every day, causing scientists and doctors to find a cure. They never found a cure for the virus. But, there was one symptom that no one knew about until after the huge death spike: the dead would come back to life as strong, fast, and agile zombies.
Over the course of 10 to 20 years, the entire world was infected with the Sterile Rage virus, leaving at least 100 survivors alive to try to eradicate the virus. This is the story of these survivors.
