So first I would like to say that this is the beginning to a new series I am writing. There will be Yiff in it! (I could NEVER write a clean story just not my mind set) Alas that will wait for later chapters! As for some backround information on the main character I will post that soon aswell! (I admit the starting was not my best...) I would like to give huge thanks to Twylight_Chaos and Vicious Reader for beta reading and helping me fix it all up! (I promise I will make the next chapters longer!)

The room was dark and a frost settled on pipes that flowed through, supplying liquid helium to cool the machine. It was natural that we had tried to build a teleportation device. We had perfected it for objects and for some orphans across the room, but now it was time for an adult trial. I stood in the chamber and waited for the doors to close. "You will be fine." Nathan my brother had assured me. But as I felt the ground leave my feet and opened my eyes to see a forest rushing up at me I knew that something had gone horribly wrong.

A pair of Buneary saw the human fall from across the clearing; it was not this often that humans wandered this far into the forest. Most often they walked a beaten path in haste as they hurried to a city that glimpses could be seen from the highest of trees. And any that did stay in the forest for long would stumble around in the taller grasses looking for an unlucky Pokémon that would be seen, so they remained certain that this person was a trainer. As they watched him and began to see red blood begin to creep around the green blades of grass that surrounded him they knew he would need help.

"Sister, stay here and watch him!" One said to the other.

"Yes Ryler." Was all she managed to respond with, before he rushed through the trees at the edge of the clearing heading home. Taking a cautious glance around the clearing, and seeing no other humans, she rushed to where he lay, he looked much more attractive up close then others that she had seen from afar. His brown hair was shoulder length and his skin matched the cream colored tuffs of fur on her ears, although it was slightly paler than her own. Just as she was about to open one of his eyes to see the color he began to stir, taking a step back she knew she had to hold him down until her mother arrived.

"Please stay down, please!" She said to him knowing that he would not understand a word she said, but hoping he would understand her tone. He continued to lay down only opening one eye to look at what had held him down. The color of his eye was like nothing she had seen before; the blue-green color seemed to be lit from inside with tiny lights.

"I have no idea what you are, where I am, but I need you to grab the pair of sunglasses off from the tree above us." He said to her, his voice mellow, portraying urgency. Hurriedly she walked to the branch he had talked about and picked off a pair of black sunglasses with her ears before going back to him and putting them by his head. He moved only enough to put on the glasses before settling back into the position he had been in before. Rustling at the edge of the clearing signaled the arrival of her brother with their mother. The Lopunny rushed into the clearing following the Buneary, her arms holding different herbs and a roll of human bandages that she had once stolen from a human's camp.

"Is he still living Julie?" The Lopunny asked as she knelt down by the human's head.

"Yes mommy he is, he woke up while I was waiting for you." Nodding the Lopunny turned the human on his back and put him in a sitting position against the tree he had landed under; a large gash on the side of his head was visible and still seeping blood.

"Go get this wet for me dear." She said handing Ryler a clump of moss; he rushed off towards the stream that they often played in during the hotter days in the summer.

"Will he be okay mom?" Julie asked as she looked up at the human that now towered over her. Looking at the wound and how quickly he had awoke she knew that he would be fine.

"Yes he will be perfectly fine but we should keep him with us for awhile to make sure." She said while softly rubbing Julie's head. Ryler returned holding the freshly soaked moss; his mother taking it from him cleaned the human's wound before bandaging it. Putting some of the herbs into his hand and making the motion of eating to show him what he should do with them, he nodded and began to chew on them.

"Well that solves the problem of his injury and the pain he will have but how are we going to get him back?" The Lopunny said sighing. She reached over and put his arm over her shoulder and began to lift him to his feet, only to have the weight taken off of her when he stood and leaned against the tree.

"It's okay, I can walk. I might need something to help me keep balance though." What he said was greeted with a furry ear being placed against his hand.

"Thank you little one." He said looking down at the same creature that had watched over him. The quartet walked back to a hollowed out tree where their home was, the progress being much slower with the human but they arrived just before night.

"Good we're somewhere safe and warm." After he finished the sentence he collapsed. Putting a paw to his head the Lopunny could feel a fever.

"Time for bed now young ones; I will get him in my sleeping area and he can sleep with me." She said as she shooed them off to bed. Once they were in gone she again put the human's arm around her shoulder and lifted him; she could tell he was trying to help but still he was fairly heavy

"How is he so heavy? He looks so light." She muttered to herself as she placed him in her bed and lay beside him. She knew she would have to find some way to feed him and if he was this sick from just eating some herbs then it would probably be deadly if he were to try any berries. She was not sure how the Pokémon she would have to ask would react to her question but it was what she had to do.
