There were humans in front of her. She was slightly taller than them which was odd for Teya, she was only three feet tall and the humans usually topped out at six feet tall. The humans were speaking to her, she couldn't hear what they were saying at first but they slowly began making sense.

"... no right to come in here and order us around. You need to know your place." The human looked angry, yet frightened. Teya wanted to ask what was happening but the voice that escaped from her mouth was not hers.

"I know my place human... I gave you three chances. You will not make the same mistake again." Teya recognized this voice, it was Qagans.

Teya took a look at the body she now possessed, tall, slim, white fur on her torso with a spike on her chest, with blue and black fur on his arms and legs, and a spike on the back if each paw. Teya mind was the only thing under her control. She quickly learned this after multiple tries to run away. "You must pay for your crimes." Qagan said quietly.

He raised his right arm to the three humans in front of him. Teya watched the humans raise their weapons, she knew these weapons would make quick work of any creature foolish enough to get caught in their way. A strange power emitted from Qagans right paw. It flared red and three lines went through the humans heads. The humans froze, their weapons fell to the floor. All of their eyes were now void of life, blood began to slowly flow from their noses. They fell forward and hit the floor with a heavy thud. Teya wanted to scream but no sound escaped from her lips. She had never seen the likes of the death these humans had just suffered. The bodies continued to shake and scream. The sight was deeply disturbing Teya tried to look away but she couldn't, something kept her eyes fixed on the unfortunate humans lying in front of her. Suddenly, the humans were gone.

The room she was in was replaced by the forest. She looked to see if she was in her body, but she was still trapped in Qagans. She looked up and saw a single human.

"Please... I'm just doing my job." The human was backing away slowly. Qagan was matching his speed walking towards the human.

"You are supporting murder. You will suffer the fate of your victims." The human turned and started to sprint off into the forest. Qagan just stopped and shook his head. Qagan took off after him at easily three times his speed. He was catching up to the human with ease. Qagan grabbed the human and put his left paw over his mouth. The human let out multiple muffled screams and clawed at Qagans paw in vain. The human turned his head to look into Qagans eyes. Qagan kept a straight face and lifted the spike on his right paw to the humans neck. "You will be silenced." Qagan jerked the spike through the neck of the human. The fear in the humans eyes would haunt Teyas mind. He fell forward gurgling, slammed onto the forest floor. Blood drooled from his mouth, a pool formed around his head.

The forest began to change around her.

"No!" Teya screamed. "Please stop! Why is this happening?!" There was now a door in front of her. Teya could tell she was still seeing through Qagans body. Qagans paw tapped the door three times.

"About fuckin' time!" She heard a human yell.

"No, please..." She started to cry. Qagan lifted his right paw to the door. The human opened the door. "Holy sh-" He tried raising his weapon but he had already lost. A flash of red, the humans head was obliterated. The body fell backward, the hand released the gun and it hit the floor. Teya couldn't take any more, she was finally able to shut her eyes.

"Stop it stop it stop it!" Teya yelled. It was silent and dark now.

Teyas eyes shot open. Cold sweat covered her body, as she sits up she tries to catch her breath. Her eyes begin to adjust to the darkness. She looked around, the darkness revealed a cubed room with a hearth in the center. Qagan sat with his back to her, facing the hearth. Teya stood up, her nightmare still fresh in her mind. She walked over next to Qagan and sat down. She looked at him and noticed his eyes were closed and he was sitting cross legged with his paws on his knees.

Are you asleep?" Teya asked quietly.

"No." Qagan answered suddenly. "It's been a long time since I last slept."

Teya continued looking at him, the nightmare still fresh in her mind. "Why? Are your nights haunted by visions?" Teya asked. Qagan was still sitting in the same position, eyes still closed. Teya looked down into the hearth, embers were still visible at the bottom.

"Yes." Qagan told her. "Why do you ask?"

Teya gave a large sigh before responding.

"I had a nightmare tonight." She looked back to Qagan, no reaction visible on his face.

"What about?" He asked simply. Teya wasn't sure she should tell him, she didn't want to offend him. But it was only a dream, he surely wouldn't mind.

"It was about you." She replied timidly. She noticed Qagans eyes closed slightly and his mouth began to form a frown.

"Oh?" He whispered, barely audible to Teya.

"Yes." She replied. "It was quite... vivid." Qagan opened his eyes and let out a long yawn. He turned his head to Teya with a weary expression. She became lost in his eyes again, she loved the way they shimmered in the fire light.

"Tell me of it." He said suddenly, startling her back to her senses.

"I-It was about..." Teya studdered. "I'm not really sure. I was trapped in your body. I had no control over anything, if I talked no words passed my lips." Qagan began to look worried. Teya hesitated for a second, wondering why this would bother him. "You kept killing humans... I'm not sure why. I couldn't stop you, I tried yelling and pleading, running and looking away. But like I said, I had no control." Qagans expression changed from worry to interest. "Why do you think you had this dream?" He asked. Teya thought for a minute, unable to think of any reasons why she would have a dream like that. About someone she barely knew is even more odd. "I don't know." she said simply. "It was only a dream..." Qagan gave a smile that warmed her heart.

"Indeed." Qagan replied.

He stared back into the fire, apparently deep in thought. Teya just looked around the room nervously, noticing the curved lines and squares that dotted walls.

"So." Qagan started. "What brings you down south this far?"

Teya looked back to Qagan, her mind returned to her. "Oh." She said. "I came for help actually. I haven't been able to find any one willing to." Qagan raised an eyebrow.

"Help with what exactly? He asked.

"My tribe has been fighting over something completely ridiculous for weeks. I had hoped to gain some outside influence, but no one would help me. I was forced to come this far."

Qagan chuckled quietly. "What makes you think your tribe would accept outside input?" Qagan asked. "They are not as open minded as you seem to be. I'm not surprised to see that most pokemon turned down your plea for help."

Teya stared at him with pleading eyes. "They cannot come to an agreement, unless they agree to hear an outside party they will continue to argue. Eventually they will turn to violence." Qagan and Teya sat in silence for a minute. Teya knew she would have to ask him, but she wasn't sure he would accept. She would have to continue her search, regardless of how long it took.

"What you are doing is brave, if not foolhardy." Qagan explained. "There's no knowing how far this has escalated since you've been gone. Anyone returning with you may be killed on sight, assuming you snuck off. They probably think you were taken or killed." Teya had not thought of this before. How could she be so witless.

They could have already killed each other since shes been gone, and who knows what they will do with the pokemon that chooses to return with her. "Your... right." Teya sighed. "I was a fool to even consider it a decent plan. Though I still will not stray, I have already begun. I will return with someone no matter what the risk. I have to try." Teya looked into the fire. She knew she couldn't make it back alone anymore anyway. She barely made it here without getting skinned.

"You are a strong girl." Qagan started. "You made it all the way down here alone, and you will not go back until you have completed your task." Qagan looked to her and smiled. "I admire your bravery. What kind of male would I be if I let a female travel alone in these woods? I offer to help you." Teya looked up to his smiling face.

"Really?" She asked, disbelieving.

"Of course!" Qagan replied.

She lept up and hugged him around the chest, avoiding the spike. Qagans face began to burn with embarrassment.

"Thank you so much, for everything." Teyas face began to well up with tears. Her arms began to tighten around Qagan. At this point he was beginning to have trouble breathing. He wrapped his arms around Teya, avoiding her lifeflame.

"Thank me after you return home safely." He said quietly. They both released their grip.

"So." Teya stated. "When do we start?" Qagan looked into her green eyes.

"It's still early morning so we should be gone within the hour. I have got to pack some things before we leave." Qagan replied. He stood up and walked to a strange symbol on the wall. He put his right paw on the symbol, it shimmered red and the wall began to rise. "Feel free to wait outside. This shouldn't take to long." Teya nodded and started to walk toward the entrance of the cave. She couldn't wait to start the journey back home.

Teya walked out into the early morning sun. She took a deep breath of the crisp morning air. She admired the freshness of the air outside of the crater, which usually stank of sulfur and brimstone. Teya looked around the dew covered clearing and noticed Shokan sunning himself on the grass. Teya smiled, It was odd to see the position he was in. Laying on his back with the top of his head pressed against the grass, arms and legs spread lazily, allowing his entire front side to be covered in sun. She walked over and sat down next to him. Shokan didn't seem to notice.

"You seem to be comfy." Teya said to him.

"I have it down to an art." Shokan replied, smiling. "How was your sleep?" He asked.

Teya was silent for a moment. "It was... enough." Teya replied.

Shokan got the hint that she didn't want to discuss it now.

"Well, that's good." He said nervously. "Did you talk with Qagan?"

Teya looked over to Shokan, he was still laying in the same position. "Yes." She answered. "I told him what I came here for."

Shokan stretched and sat up releasing a long yawn. "Did you ask him?" Shokan queried.

"Not really..." She said. "He offered his help without me asking." Shokan looked surprised.

"Hm, did you tell him why you wanted help?" Teya thought for a moment. "I explained that they were fighting over something stupid. I'm not sure if I told him why they were fighting though." Shokan shrugged. "When were you guys going to leave?"

"Qagan said we should leave within the hour. He said he had to pack some things."

Shokan was once again surprised. "Within the hour?" He asked suddenly.

"Yes." Teya replied.

Shokan didn't know why Qagan wanted to leave so soon, he never decided such things so soon before. This journey would take a week with no delays, there and back. Qagans reputation around the forest would rarely allow for no delays.

"Well." Shokan started. "Perhaps you'll be home in a couple of days then. Probably a relief for you." Teya liked the forest, but she grew up in conditions that most of the Char favor.

"I do miss the heat." She said. "Though I don't miss the thickness of the air. The forest is cool, but the air is fresh." She took a deep breath, still enjoying the freshness of the air. "It is still my home though."

Shokan nodded, understanding how she was feeling. "Homes are not always where you were born. They are where ever you feel most comfortable."

They both sat in silence enjoying the music of the forest coming to life. The wild birds began to sing to the new day, and the trees danced in the breeze. Qagan stepped outside with a pack hanging over his shoulder. He looked over to Shokan and Teya sitting in the clearing, he walked over and stood next to them.

"Are you ready?" Teya asked.

"Yes. I have everything I need." Qagan replied. Teya and Shokan both stood up.

"Want me to come with you?" Shokan asked.

"You don't need to. I know you had plans." Qagan said.

Shokan smiled. "Alright. Try to come back in one piece." Shokan chuckled.

"I'll be gone for a while, so don't wait for me." Qagan said.

"See you when I see you then." Shokan stated.

Qagan looked to Teya. "Let us be on our way then." Qagan waved to Shokan before turning to leave.

"Thank you for everything." Teya said, bowing slightly.

"Feel free to come back and visit anytime." Shokan laughed. "Now go, or you'll get left behind." Teya turned and ran to catch up to Qagan. She looked back to see Shokans smiling face, she waved to him. She knew she would see him again. She caught up with Qagan and walked next to him.

Qagan looked at her and smiled. "It won't be long now." He said. "Keep up your spirits."
