Aciec Aeternam (etarnal Battlefield) Into and info
This is my first post on SF, i am currently writing this story called Acies Aeternam, which is latin for Etarnal Battlefield. You will find some information bellow about some of the main characters and what the story is about.
I already finished about 10 chapters, but i will upload the first 5 or so first. Hopefully i will get some feedback that i can use to 'perfect' the other 5 chapters. I dont have a lot of time to write the rest and this is certanly not my only project running, but i WILL continiue on the story. I have a lot of idea's that i still have to write.
I began writing this in august 2008, but the most recent chapters are from jan/feb this year. And the first chapters might not be as good as the rest so please bear with me :P.
I hope you all enoy, and i would love to have feedback on the chapters!

Acies Aerternam, eternal battlefield
A Sci-Fi fantasy action by Carlo Luijten
Main Character:
Faukx van Brabant: Male lion, Captain of the ship.
Misha Ahumibe: Female lion, Commander of the ship. (second in command)
Malcom Grandforth: Male black wolf, First Lieutenant
Tachis: Male Bozak Draconian, Chief of Engineering / Second Lieutenant
Jake Goodworthy : Male grey wolf, Military Training Officer / Second Lieutenant

Gerald: Male white cat, mess hall and club caretaker
Muse: Female Black Panther, club caretaker
Sam (Sammy) Jungmann: Male black cat, Military Science Student
Agyl Solanki: Female black cat, Military Trooper Student

Main story line:
The story is about a battle carrier called the Acies Aeternam (eternal battlefield) and its crew, they are the frontline in the battle against the Syllisyn. A warring nation of reptilian humanoids who's leaders wish destruction upon the other races and cultures.This story is mostly about the life of the crew and the situations there in, but also the battles that occur and what there going trough.
About the ship Acies Aeternam:
This battle ship is a (huge) carrier class ship and it is used to transport troops, vehicles, and mobile command posts to the battlefield, It also has research modules so they can adapt and research new technology on the spot. The ship is called Acies Aeternam for a reason; this is Latin for Eternal Battlefield. This because the ship is mostly on its way to upcoming battlefields, and one of the ships that is almost always on the frontline.
About the characters:
Note that all the characters are anthropomorphic creatures, humans have never existed in this fictional world.
Faukx:
He is the commander of the battle carrier Acies Aeternam, who does not only command the ship itself, but also commands the troops of his ship and on the battlefield. He is quite easygoing but also very determent to get the job done, and possibly without many casualties on his side. He is a good leader, his troops and crew follow him to whatever end, assuming it's not their final flight. He loves a good laugh and had friends in both high and low ranking groups. Faukx is a lion with golden sheen in his fur, his hairs are burgundy red and wears them in a long ponytail. He also has a small goatee on his chin. He has an average height and good trained muscles, but not all buffed up. He mostly wears his commander uniform or a combat suit. If not wearing one of the two he's wearing easy fitting clothes.
His origins lay in the Netherlands
Misha:
Misha is the 2nd in command/sub commander of the Acies Aeternam, she commands the ship in absence of Faukx or if commanded by Faukx to do so, like situations where he is needed elsewhere. She is a fairly relaxed person and is a good listener, she mostly only talks when this is expected of her, the only one she really talks to is either Faukx or Jake. Jake is like a little brother to her. Faukx may be a nice guy to hang out with outside 'work hours' but he is still her commander. Her fur is light brownish and her hair (which she keeps in a knot) is a darker shade of brown. She has a normal height and build for a military woman.
She mostly wears her uniform and she seldom wears anything else, even in privet life.

Malcom:
He is the First Lieutenant on the ship, he is also active on the battlefield if the time arises. Command from Faukx/Misha come trough him (mostly) and he orders the others officers.
He also fights with the ground troop when needed. Malcom looks like he is going to kick your ass any second now but he really has a small heart. He love to talk and collect the latest gossips on the ship. And with so many furs on the ship there is enough to gossip about.
Malcom has a greyish/black fur. He's big, really big for a wolf. And he has enough muscles to compensate for 2 more furs.
His origin lay's in America.
Tachis:
Tachis is a Second Lieutenant and Chief of engineering, he is wonderful with machines and everything that he can build. He commands the engineers on the ship and he commands a group of battle engineers that work on the battlefield, repairing vehicles, temporary buildings weapons etc. He is a dragon, his scales have a bronze sheen over them and curled horns show on his head.

Jake:
He is a Second Lieutenant and Training officer. He keeps the troopers and others in shape and ready for combat. You would suspect a big asshole for a job like this but he is neither big or buffed up, neither is he an asshole for a fact. He has a laid-back mentality, but he knows when he has to be serious. Misha is like a big sister for him and he confides in her. He tells her everything that bothers him personally, and the other way around. He has a small heart and can be very nice if he wants to. His fur is light grey with some darker grey shadings here and there. He is a bit smaller than the average fur. And is not as muscled as other military folk.
