Renzyl immediately knew that something was awry when he came back to his realm, sniffing the air before he moved towards the central control area. Though it wasn't overly concerning, it was different enough that it piqued his interest. The rubber dragon moved swiftly through his manor until he found Chrono sitting in his usual spot in front of his crystalline display in the dimensional teleportation room. The silver saurian immediately looked back when he felt the presence of the other male moving towards him.

"Lord Renzyl!" Chrono said as Renzyl looked at him with a bemused smirk. "How did your mission go?"

"Quite successful if I do say so myself," Renzyl replied as he looked around. "Chrono... something feels off, as though someone was messing around in my realm. Is there something that you need to report to me while I was gone?"

The silver raptor blushed slightly as he grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head. "Well..." he started to say, the grin on the rubber dragon growing as he watched the raptor squirm. "We had a minor teleportation issue and it brought someone here that wasn't authorized. When I attempted to send them back there was something wrong with the device, and while we were waiting for you to return he wanted to have a look around."

"So we had a little unexpected tour," Renzyl replied with a smirk. "Well since there's a distinct lack of anyone here and the device seems to be in working order, I'm guessing that you managed to fix it after all?"

"Well... yes..." Chrono responded nervously. "When we came back to see if you had returned the machine had been fixed and our new friend decided to leave."

"How delightfully coincidental," Renzyl mused, tapping his claws against his muzzle. "We really do get the most interesting guests coming through here these days, and here I wasn't there to escort our guest personally. I think it would be rather rude if I didn't put in some sort of appearance in order to see how they enjoyed their experience."

Chrono's jaw dropped slightly as Renzyl went up to one of the obsidian obelisks and placed a hand on it, the stone glowing under his palm as the synthetic saurian went to him. "But Master Renzyl!" Chrono shouted as the rubber dragon went up to the platform. "You just got back! Zander needed to go through some new wyvern designs and Berza wanted you to talk to you about the latest mission specs!"

"I'm sure that they can wait for a bit while I figure out what's going on," Renzyl replied with a smirk while he hopped onto the platform. "Don't worry, I'm just satiating my curiosity. From the memories in the transporter I know where and when he currently is, or at least where to pick up his trail. Now before I leave is there anything that you want to tell me, Chrono, before I encounter this creature that strolled so brazenly through my realm?"

Once more the raptor blushed and looked away, but by the time he looked back at Renzyl he had already stepped up onto the platform and activated it. Unlike with anyone else the rubber dragon didn't need to use anything special to guide him. The blueish-purple smoke rose around him quickly as he gave Chrono a wink, then crossed his arms as the last of his body disappeared in the opaque vapor. A few seconds later the synthetic saurian could feel the discharge of energy and the cloud of smoke billowed out to reveal an empty platform as he just shook his head.

Vyrnen whistled happily to himself as he walked along the promenade of the space station that he had managed to teleport to, looking around at the various shops with the credit stick that he had earned firmly in his hand. The nanite dragon had been traveling quite a bit and decided to take the latest mission success as a means to pamper himself a little bit, wanting nothing more than to enjoy the sites of the exotic locale as well as the merchandise they offered. Already he had two shopping bags full of stuff as he walked through the atrium, the planet that the station hovered over glowing beyond the pressure-proof windows against a backdrop of black stars. It was a beautiful view... though as he passed by one of the shops something caught his eye that made him suddenly desire a change of scenery.

"Looking at our holosuite specials?" the lovely red-and-blue skinned alien girl said as she motioned to the holograms that were hovering next to her. "We're currently offering two hours for the price of one, it's quite a deal if I do say so myself! You can go everywhere from the beaches of Tarnipual to experiencing the beautiful but harsh climate of Ferxxi Seven without melting in the radiation. Or if you want to go even more exotic we have the inside of a black hole or the center of a burning sun."

It was intriguing enough of a sales pitch that the white-scaled dragon stayed there and looked through the various options that he could go through, and though it was a little on the high side the price was right enough to treat himself to such an experience. Once he selected what he wanted to experience for this two hours the alien girl smiled and nodded at him before leading him back into a metal hallway with a number of doors on it and a small waiting room at the end of it. Instead of heading to the waiting room she showed him to one of the doors and it opened for her to allow them inside. On the other side of the threshold it was just a simple room with solid black walls and a floor that would move under him so that he didn't smack into any of the walls while in the middle of the simulation.

"I have to say that I'm a bit surprised that I got you to do this," the alien said suddenly as she began to punch in his selections into the computer control screen, causing Vyrnen to tilt his head in confusion and her to smile. "Well I don't mean to presume, but I'm guessing by your composition that you aren't an organic lifeform, which if you're some sort of robot you could just plug yourself into any holovid projector and experience a similar sensation."

"I'm... unique," Vyrnen replied, trying to remain a bit vague just in case this world didn't approve of creatures such as him. "Lucky for you, though, right? You got to make a sale."

The alien girl smiled and nodded at him as she put in the last of the codes required to make the holosuite work, then informed him if he needed anything to just say helpdesk twice in a row and she would pause the simulation to help him. He told the alien that he understood and then she left and closed the door behind her. The room was pitch black for a few seconds and Vyrnen felt the floor shift under him, no doubt calibrating to his weight. As the light grew brighter he continued to wait until the scene around him changed entirely.

Vyrnen gasped slightly in awe as the scene changed around him, the simple walls and lights replaced with an almost idyllic scene of a lake surrounded by trees and rivers. The holographic interface was almost realistic in its recreation as he began to walk through it, the scene changing from just trees and water to the remnants of an ancient civilization. It appeared to be long abandoned, and even though there was power that was apparently supplied to the entire city ruins it was clear something happened to it a long time ago. As he passed by a cracked viewscreen that flickered with the faded light, and the blend of the ancient machinery with the xenomorphic nature that had grown around it made it beautiful.

Though he knew that he couldn't actually swim in the waters due to the nature of the holosuite he could still walk in it and feel the cool liquid against his scales. It glowed with a bioluminescent light as he waded in it, the bright blue light reflecting off of his body while he moved through it. It was quiet... a little too quiet as he stood there. Part of him wondered if he wanted to hack into the system and maybe play a soundtrack or something in order to break the silence, but as he did he could feel the simulation around him shift slightly.

At first it was just a shimmer in the fabric of the artificially created reality, but the longer stood there in the water the more he got an eerie sense that something was happening that wasn't supposed to. It took him a while before his scanning of the area finally found something, though he could have easily overlooked it at first, now that he was on guard the shadow on the shoreline stood out to him. As soon as he saw whatever entity was out there, it recognized the fact and began to move towards him. While he didn't sense any malevolence from it there was something... very wrong about it that caused him to back away as quickly as it approached him.

"Helpdesk helpdesk," Vyrnen said as the shadow quickly began to encroach on him, deciding that he didn't want to find out whatever it was that was coming towards him. The second that nothing seemed to change the nanite dragon swallowed hard and attempted to reach out to the electronic device remotely only to find that all the signals were jammed. "Hey, helpdesk helpdesk!"

"I disabled the commlink," the shadowy creature replied in a familiar voice as it began to take on a more draconic shape. "I wouldn't want anyone to disrupt our conversation. Plus I think it would be better if someone like one of us had control of the simulation instead of the boring program that they were running, don't you think?"

When the shadow finally took on a defined shape it caused Vyrnen's eyes to widen slightly and his jaw to drop. "No way..." he said as he saw the smirk on his own muzzle as the shadow dragon turned solid and rubbery. "How is this even possible?"

"You messed with something that you had no idea how to control," his corrupted persona said, seeing the familiar hex pattern that was on his own body except glowing with the same red as the one glowing red eye along with the green one. "Did you honestly think that you could just take in all that essence of a nexus creature and then expect to purge it from your system? You could have done a full wipe and I would still be lurking around in your system files, waiting for something like this so that we could meet face to face."

"But this isn't the first time that I've been in a holographic area after my visit to that realm," Vyrnen debated with himself. "Why did you finally come to visit me now?"

"I don't know," the corrupted Vyrnen replied with a smirk and a shrug. "Perhaps you should figure that out before things get too out of control." That red and green-eyed male looked down, then back up at him. "Oops, too late."

Vyrnen looked down himself and gasped when the glowing blue water had transformed to a deep, shining black that had begun to creep up his body from the surface of the liquid. Along with the coolness that came with the rubbery substance crawling up on him there was also a tactile tingling sensation that ran up and down his spine. He could also feel the malicious but familiar programming attempting to creep into his own and when he looked back down at the surface of the water he could see his own blue iris begin to turn red around the edges. The rubber male opposite him just continued to watch as the glowing blue lines on his body began to also turn red as the corruption seeped into every facet of his being.

As Vyrnen tried to resist the changes, as well as the lust that accompanied it, he felt a pair of hands press against his chest as he suddenly found his corrupted self press up against him. "I don't know why you're resisting me," his more dominant self cooed as those muzzles were only about an inch away from one another, which only seemed to spread the changes in Vyrnen's body even more. "Don't you think it would be so much more fun if you became me, using this body to turn others into drones to satisfy your every desire?"

Even though Vyrnen knew that whatever was going on here in this simulation wasn't real his mind couldn't help but absorb the information that was being fed to him. The nanite dragon gritted his teeth as that inky blackness continued to travel up his body, thickening his muscle as the transformation slithered its way up to his neck. At this point his eye was halfway between green and red, the thoughts and desires that the dominant self portrayed becoming infused with his own thought processes. He could feel himself changing, this creature taking over as the darkness spread into his skull...

Suddenly the entire world collapsed around him, shaking violently for a few seconds before it disappeared along with the rubber Vyrnen that had come with it. The nanite dragon blinked as the black walls and track lighting returned, followed a few seconds later by the metal door sliding open to reveal the alien behind it. "Oh thank goodness you're alright," she said as she went up to him and scanned him with some sort of alien device. "I had detected an anomaly in the program and your presence in the system became distorted, I had feared the worst and terminated the program."

"I'm alright," Vyrnen said with an exacerbated sigh as he lied. "Nothing wrong except for a few glitches."

"Well I'm still terribly sorry for it," the alien replied. "I refunded your credits, please forgive me for the negative experience. If you would like to try again at another time I would be more than happy to provide you with another holosuite free of charge, as well."

Though Vyrnen nodded and said that he would come back later he had no plan on doing another session in this place. The nanite dragon shook his head as he immediately began to walk away from the holosuite, trying to shake off that strange version of himself that he encountered. He thought that he had managed to forget about what he saw, but as he passed by one of the reflective surfaces that adorned the atrium he could see his corrupted self for a second before his reflection returned to normal. Though the apparition was gone, the ghost of what he had seen continued to linger.

Try to find the source... the words that he had given himself continued to circle through his mind as he walked along the pathway with the other aliens. Something here has activated the latent programming that he thought he purged when he left Renzyl's realm, which was obviously not the case. Part of him thought about running and teleporting to a different area, but if whatever power caused his corruption to spread remained with him he might not be able to jump back, and then he would be in serious trouble. Instead he had to find the source of the corruptive energy, not only to find out what triggered the malicious programming, but also to see if it was something of value.

When Vyrnen attempted to run a diagnostic once he was free and clear of the holosuite he found that his fears were confirmed; several sectors of his own code came back as corrupted and any attempts to fix the problem only resulted in further corruption. It was something that he couldn't just fix, it was his own code but just affected by something foreign to him. This ability reminded him of someone that had managed to mess with his code before, and though they had his best interests in mind, he wasn't sure about this new manipulation. As he thought back to that corrupted version of himself he couldn't help but shiver when it came to that shining rubber that covered his body...

Something was going on as he began to feel the nanites that were being assimilated suddenly become much more active. Was he starting to get close to where the source of what was causing his changes? After a little experimentation he found that he could see the increasing vibrations of his rubberized nanites, but the closer he got and the longer he took to find the cause of his changes, the more he could actually feel himself start to transform. Vyrnen had to stop for a second and clutched his stomach, and when he looked down he saw that his normally pristine white scales had a blotch of a shiny black on them that was slowly spreading wider. When he couldn't see anything that resembled what he was looking for the corruption continued, and even though he couldn't see it, he could definitely feel his mental processes shifting.

"This isn't working..." Vyrnen said to himself as one of his eyes began to glow slightly with a red tint. "I... gotta get out of here." As the nanite dragon stumbled back and started to turn tail to run he began to see all those around him in a completely different light. Every time an alien creature looked at him all Vyrnen could think of was that they were prey, something that he could transform and manipulate to his will and desire. With each passing second that prospect grew more enticing and finally the thoughts and sensations became too much and he fell over, unable to escape the growing desire that hadn't slowed down much since he tried to run from the source.

A few minutes passed and the nanite dragon continued to pant, though his breathing steadied as he braced himself against one of the railings of the atrium. It caught the attention of one of the guards, the draconic alien tapping Vyrnen on the shoulder. "hey there buddy," he said as he tapped the nanite dragon on the shoulder. "Do you need any help?"

There was a moment of pause before Vyrnen looked up, his red and green eyes looking up at the guard before his muzzle curled up into a wicked grin. "Oh, I'm fantastic," he said as he looked the other male up and down. "Although I think I certainly could use some help..."

Meanwhile Renzyl surveyed the space station from the balcony of the room that he had rented out, the rubber naga that had once been an alien busser snoring loudly on the bed curled up in his new coils. Though he had taken the time to indulge in his own dalliances and to get a bit of power from the creature that hadn't stopped staring at his groin since he walked in, it was time to find where the unknown invader in his realm had come from. Though Chrono hadn't been forthcoming in what had happened he knew when the silver raptor had been taken advantage of, and especially when it came to when someone like him did it. To get his second in command so flustered he knew that it was time to see what could have possibly caused it.

From what he could sense in the air his prey was still there in this station; having someone that could teleport could always pose as a problem, but with his own portal creation skills he kept up quite well. He was just lucky that this creature hadn't managed to accidently wander into a territory of one of his brothers, not wanting to have to explain to them what he was looking for or have them find his prey first. As he continued to stand there he felt a presence behind him as his new cobra naga wrapped his arms around his chest and his coils around his legs. Renzyl grinned and leaned back to give his new lover a kiss, then motioned for him to unbind him so that he could move.

"Is something wrong, Master?" the rubber naga replied.

"Oh no," Renzyl replied as he moved over to the mirror that was in his room. "On the contrary, I'm rather excited to meet this creature. From what I can sense whatever was in my realm that affected him seems to be manifesting itself once again, which is going to make it far easier for me to track him. Now I could just let my power continue to manifest, but that could lead to some interesting results."

The naga looked at him in question, tilting his head as he looked at the rubber dragon staring at the reflective surface. "Interesting results?" he asked as he looked at the reflection as well. "What do you mean?"

"Just look at yourself as an example," Renzyl explained as he touched his finger against the mirror. "I took your needs and desires and gave you that body you so thoroughly enjoy; now I've had eras of time to master my craft... if this creature has any of my abilities then we're going to see a lot of similar creatures out there due to his inability to control his want to make others. Now before I get a bad name from this one I need to find him... but let's see what we're dealing with before we go on the hunt."

The reflective surface shimmered like a pool of water before the items that were shown in the mirror disappeared, replaced with a blackness that seemed to absorb the surrounding light. A few seconds later a figure began to appear from the darkness and both of the rubber-scaled creatures watched come into being. Renzyl watched in particular as a black rubber creature similar to himself appeared, and though it looked at first like it was his own reflection he soon saw that the rubber dragon definitely had some differences. As Renzyl looked over the red lines he gave a small nod and a look of being slightly impressed before he waved his hand and caused it to disappear. He left the recently-converted naga and told him to wait into the room for him to return, stating that it wouldn't be too long before he came back...
