She was a bitch. She had to be a bitch. Boys that age had just one thing in mind, so if Kathy was that common it was only because she was an easy girl! Yes! That was what Samantha kept telling herself as her gaze lingered on the movements of her rival. Well, it was not much of a rivalry. Kathy was a mystery. Her family moved in this little town from the big city for whatever reason and since her arrival at school Samantha's popularity dropped: in three months all the boys who had eyes only for her were now around Kathy.

What did that bitch have more than her anyway? Sam's eyes kept following the steps of the other girl on the basketball court. She was shorter -at least by a whole inch!-, with a bit of chubbiness on those sides even though the large t-shirts she used to always wear were covering it, that canine muzzle with droopy ears looked so stupid... foul mouth, a passion for manly sports, unladylike way of eating... She had to be a whore to be so popular with boys. On the other hand, Sam was quite the mannered cat. Sure, she was a bit snobby when around boys, but which girl wasn't? They were nothing but horny teenagers! Pure white fur, long blond hair, emerald eyes, a sinuous frame, cute dresses, cute... ahem... underwear...

A sigh. The kitty was sitting on the grass, distant enough from the court to prevent any ball to reach her, legs collected against the barely swollen chest, hands wrapped around the knees. She looked melancholic, upset, those eyes were not following the match, they were not chasing after the cute boys who dared to play topless during that last kick of Autumn warmth. She was only focused on her rival, watching her juggle the ball from a hand to the other, defend so harshly, shove the boys and show such foul gestures after every score. She was no girl...

Yeah, no wonder someone was going to spread the rumor of her being a prostitute: just looking at her right now, with that ass grinding against the bulges of those horny boys to protect the ball, letting them tug at the shirt, push against her chest... disgusting... so slutty. The fact that Sam herself started spreading that rumor was just a coincidence; it was just a matter of time before it would kick in anyway!

Samantha sighed again. How could that puppy even be a rival? Traces of grass and soil on the fur, through the hair, on the clothes... Puffing her cheeks, the kitty decided to stay there and study the pup for some more time. It was actually the first time she was taking all this time to check Kathy out. What was that fur color anyway? She was supposed to be a golden retriever, though her fur was anything but gold. Brownish, mahogany actually, messy. It was clear she was a bastard, the patches of white fur on the muzzle were clear sign of the presence of another canine race in her genealogy, just like the way her right ear was standing a bit higher than the left one. Almost cute. Almost... Samantha could see why that oddness could catch the eye in a little town where marrying someone of another race was still considered a sort of taboo.

Another gloomy sigh. She was losing way too much time there but her gaze could not shift away from that puppy playing only few yards away. Ignoring the nice chests of the topless boys, passing over the plays of other males giving their best in front of the girl, her eyes were just glued on the rival, on the rough movements, the calculated steps... she was clearly the best on the field despite the height, at least from the little Samantha knew about that lame sport. Thoughts kept filling her mind as she followed the wiggling butt of the puppy: with that thick tail wagging left and right, it felt like she was inviting all the boys to look at it and the kitty's attentions would be dragged there as well.

'Mpfh'. Did she actually stare at that ass? Sam caught herself lingering the gaze on that particular point way, way too much even when the kids were already starting to spread. One by one, the boys were abandoning the court. First they were 10, enough for a full match of basketball, but as the kitty started to realize how late it was most of them had left the field to meet their duties of homeworks and chores. A bit of a chill would make her tighten the hug around her legs. Yes, it was totally the little coldness of the setting sun the cause of that shrug, the reason behind her shiver, not the fact that Kathy would've been alone with just another boy if it were not for her; nor the fact that this particular boy was quite the cute cat and -of course only in her dreams!- he was going to be her boyfriend.

She puffed her cheeks and kept staring. Did they notice her? It was hard not to, since she was just a few yards away, but she had been standing still for so long they might have forgotten about her. Half her face was hidden through the knees as Michael kept playing. He was sweaty, quite tired, but his gaze so fierce, so lovely... She felt quite the envy in that moment. Kathy was there, facing him, getting touched, touching him... Her gaze lowered, staring at her own knees. In her mind, now the kitty herself was on the court, now there she was tripping Michael, making him fall over her... Laughters, touches, stares, gropes... Her cheeks were flustered as she dug the face more into that space between chest and knees.

Thoughts were intensifying. In her fantasy she was lying on the field wrapped around Michael right in front of Kathy's face! Would the puppy stay there and see? Her chest heaved as she imagined Kathy's eyes staring at her defeat, watching those tongues whirl and dance... As those mental images became more peppery, as a little shiver ran down her spine, the kitty would wake from her daydreaming with a pant, her mouth agape in a silent moan. Ugh... Why would she even think of letting her rival see? Why was she so obsessed about winning over that bitch? Her eyes were shut, her head shaking left and right as she tried to shove the image of Kathy's gaze looming over her. Speaking of...

The court was deserted when she checked it. Ugh... what a slut, did the puppy really exploit that only moment of distraction from Sam to sneak somewhere with Michael? Disappointment, almost fear when she realized that truth. Kathy really was a bitch! Where were they now?! Her heart raced as images of the puppy stealing her boyfriend haunted her mind. No.. no... she could not let that happen. Paralyzed on the spot, the kitty tried to elaborate her options. Go and look for them? Just leave? It was clear they wanted privacy, but she could not let that happen!

She was resolute now. She was going to stand up. To look for them. She was going to find them, to catch them and show everyone that those were not just rumors! She would've never forgiven her boyfr- "Ouch!" She lost the track of her thoughts when something suddenly hit her nape. It was not a hard hit yet completely unexpected, enough to leave her dazed for half a second before she'd turn around to search for the cause.

"You are weird". It was not hard to understand what had just happened. Raising the gaze up from the grassy terrain where she was sitting, she first encountered a basketball and then the puppy standing only a couple yards behind her. Had she really been so absorbed in her thoughts not to notice the movements of the bitch? She bared the teeth. "Hey! What was that for?!" It was the first time they were confronting and the kitty did not lose time to jump up and turn around to be able to face Kathy. Sam's tail was shaking nervously and Kathy's was mirroring it with a completely opposite meaning. If that was supposed to be a confrontation for the cat, the pup did not seem to be feeling it the same way. "I just wanted to be sure you were not dead! Don't wanna pass the whole evening explaining the police why I did not help you!"

Bullshit. That was total bullshit. The bitch just wanted to hit her! Sam clenched her fists, pulling out the most angered expression she was able to show, which happened to be just a pout on those white cheeks and a bow on those barely visible blond eyebrows. She was going to take revenge! To hit Kathy back and show her who the best girl of the town was! Wait. That was not even the problem! She was so focused on that little blow on her head that she forgot the main reason she was angry at the pup at the moment! The kitty looked left and right, checking the surroundings. Alone. They were completely alone. Her eyes narrowed: "Where is Michael?"

"Oh?" A titter from the puppy, a little grin appearing on the lips. "So that's him you wanted to be alone with?" The pout on Sam's cheeks transformed in a blushing embarrassed expression in a second. "What! No!" She was not good at hiding her feelings and now that Kathy so easily found out her little crush there was going to be a bit of teasing for sure... She just deserved it after the bad rumors she spread about the pup, didn't she? "Ha! You know, if you really like him..." A quick interruption from the kitty. "No! I do not! He's ugly!" Lies. Total lies. Her posture and voice were betraying her as she took a step forward, to be able to shout louder against the puppy. "Is he? I really like him. Too bad he has eyes only for you. He was totally trying so hard to impress you! If I were you I'd raise the tail and..." "Shut up bitch!" Another step forward as an intimidating way to dare her to continue. "I bet he's the best kisser." The puppy continued the teasing to make Sam blush more and more. Even her ears were getting red now! How could she be talking about that matter so casually?

"S-Stop it!" Another angry stomp on the grass, the two were barely a yard away from each others. Kathy did not seem threatened at all, actually her tail was still wagging left and right amusedly as she stared at the kitty with a smug look on the face. "Too bad you let him down so hard." Another step forward from the kitty. Now they were close enough to make the difference in height barely noticeable. Fists closed at the sides, claws barely digging in the palms, she was getting nervous again. "What are you talking about?!" A louder laughter from the puppy. "Come on! You passed a whole hour staring at my ass! Everyone noticed it!" It was true! Well, not a whole hour, but Sam noticed it herself. "Twasn't an hour!" Ha! Falling for the easiest of traps. That smug look on the face of the pup was so annoying as she immediately replied back: "So you DID stare at my ass. I mean, it's a great butt, but you are not my type..."

How did she dare?! Sam was furious by now. She bared her teeth again and that slim white tail kept shaking faster, cleaving the air. Barely two feet away, Kathy was showing off a cheeky grin. Annoying stupid bitch... "Fucking lez." When the sentence of the puppy reached Sam's ears she was already dashing forward. An unexpected snarl, two fists guided at the puppy's shirt, that stupid grin disappearing off Kathy's face... The kitty had never brawled, she had never needed to, but that sudden burst of adrenaline did not make her think about it. She just assaulted her rival, grabbed that shirt, pushed her. So easy, that little bitch could only make a couple steps backwards to keep the balance. "What the f-..." It happened so quickly. Samantha's body moved instinctively when Kathy reacted, gripping her wrists with the hands. "Hey! Get off me!" The resistance was futile. One more defensive step of the puppy and the other girl would extend a leg in order to make her opponent lose the balance. That was a hard blow. Samantha almost felt pain for the girl underneath her as a deaf thud reached her ears. There was grass under them but falling with her back first on the ground was still painful for Kathy especially since the weight was doubled with Samantha following her down. A little yelp full of pain.

Both girls lay there stunned. A wheezing gasp came from Kathy: ineffective breathing was just natural after that hard fall. The first to recover was Sam of course, who shook her head and lifted her chest up by pushing with her hands on the grass next to the other girl's face. "You had enough, bitch? You gonna shut up now?!" She was quivering. The rush of adrenaline in her body was making her tremble and pant, the blood was pumping at rapid beats in the chest. What a slut. Even when falling, Kathy did take the time to spread her legs and now Sam was in the perfect position to hold her down, with her knees between the pup's thighs and those hands ready to attack her face if the fighting continued. No reply, of course there was no reply from the other girl. She was still gasping, but after a couple coughs her breathing would come back.

"Hey..." Her first word came out hoarsely but the next ones had the same tone of before. Good, no consequences... "If you really wanted to lie down with me..." What?! She had the guts to keep teasing Sam? "You could have just asked. But I guess I would have refused, so good move..." How? How could she have that smug look on the face after this? Sam's anger grew. "Just shut the fuck up!" She snarled down at the pup. The calmness of that girl was getting on her nerves.

How could she stay so composed after the quick wrestle? Samantha bared the teeth once more, ready to fight back each and every word coming out Kathy's mouth. "Nothing else to be expected from a lesb-" "Stoppit!" The kitty was close to burst again. She was still breathing fast, not having recovered completely, but ready to fight again. Easy to say, in the position she was in... "Fine, but lemme teach ya a thing first..."

The puzzled expression on Sam's face lasted barely a moment. "Wha-" She did not have the time to finish the question. Everything happened so fast, even quicker than the little brawl which had just ended: a harsh shove on her left shoulder; a rotation of the other girl's torso; the pressure on her side. She closed her eyes and gasped, suddenly finding herself thrash under that filthy canine. Her shaking arms would soon be locked as the much more expert tomboy grasped her wrists and planted them on the ground. The grass against her neck and nape was tickling, making her even more restless than she already was. She continued shaking her shoulders in the attempt to find a moment to wiggle free or at least in the hope to bend those blades of grass as Kathy spoke. "If ya wanna lock someone down, keep your legs spread! You have more balance and give them less space to work! Wrap'em around theirs like this!"

"I don't care! Just lemme go!" She was right though: the ease with which the puppy could roll the situation, the struggle Samantha was having to move even a bit... "And if ya want to have less struggle holdin' your position..." As she spoke, Kathy started executing what she was talking about: ".. grasp their wrists and lean down on them. Less space to apply strength, they'll be at your mercy..." The last words blew breath directly on Samantha's face as she struggled less the more she realized Kathy knew what she was talking about.

"Ugh..." Samantha jerked again in another failed attempt to get free. Her heartbeat was racing even faster now. "... are you listening to me?" Kathy continued her lesson as she shook her head left and right, shutting the eyes, trying to deny the fact she had just lost the brawl so easily. Another shrug, ineffective as the others. So many thoughts were running through the feline's mind at the moment; the blades of grass still tickling her nape; the dirt which was going to ruin her shirt with each jerk of her body against the ground; the bad smell of the puppy's breath permeating her nostrils -did she even brush her teeth that morning?; the struggle to find a comfortable position in the forced state; the shame of having lost that fight against her rival; the constraining grasp Kathy had over her... "Hey! Are you listening?!"

The shout woke Samantha from her confusing train of thoughts and brought her back to the main problem, the only thing she could not notice until now: close, too close. Personal space! Did Kathy not know what it was? Their faces were terribly close! The kitty shivered and gulped, abandoning all struggles as her heart lost a beat. "Ya know what's gonna happen now, right?" Silence. The time stopped. Samantha trembled and stared into the rival's eyes. She had never noticed it -not that she had ever had the chance nor the will to study Kathy from such closeness- but those blue eyes had intriguing patches of green, quite the unique trait. A cramp at the belly. No. That could not happen! The puppy was staring back into Sam's eyes, lingering, waiting... Another missed heartbeat. The smell of grass, the sunset, the weak wind blowing through their faces... if it were Michael to be over her she would've been the luckiest and happiest kitty of the city. Well, she was not going to be caught unprepared anyway! One last struggle, then Samantha would close her eyes. 'At least I can pretend it's Mike...' she thought as Kathy continued standing still. The head tilted a bit, the lips spread. The poor girl could only admit her defeat...

"Oh my God!" Another shout disrupted the atmosphere, leaving the feline in a flustered and incredule state. She slowly spread the eyelids to find that smug expression over the face of her rival. She was grinning, almost laughing. "You were really going to kiss me!" An amused chuckle made Samantha drop her ears and sigh. Was that a sigh of relief? Of course it was! In no way she wanted to give her first kiss to another girl! Especially not Kathy! "H-hey! You are the fucking lesbian grinding against me!" She snarled at the puppy, resuming her restless struggling against the iron grasp of her rival. "Were you dreaming of this for the whole afternoon, lez?" Kathy continued teasing the feline, her tail wagging amused behind her rump. "No! Who would ever want a kiss from an ugly bitch like you?!" Fury in her eyes. She snarled again and shook again. The dress was getting dirtier but by now the young blond girl was not thinking about it anymore. "Well, you were the one ready for a kiss! What a lez!" "Eat that back, bitch!" "Make me!" She jerked, she tugged the arms in all directions, tried to wiggle free with renewed strength. "You. Fucking. Bi-" Her phrase did not end. Before she could insult the dog another time, Kathy's lips were pressed over hers.

Kathy was finally the first one to kiss her. Not Michael, not any other boy who showed off for her on the basketball field. Kathy. Was it Kathy's first too? Sam's body went limp, applying no more resistance. Her spread lips did not manage to shut before the pup's filthy tongue would invade her mouth. Before Samantha could have the presence of mind to shut her jaw and bite that lurid muscle her own tongue was playing and whirling instinctively. Oh God... How did it end this way? The feline did not realize Kathy broke the grasp on the wrists. She did not notice the lower pressure on her body. Her mind was absent, left in a little corner of her brain as instinct moved the tongue by itself. That was the moment to bite her! To shove her away! To kick and run away! Yet she was there. Disgusting... the puppy's drool was falling in her mouth, mixing with her own, dribbling down her cheeks. A little gasp, a half-hearted sigh as Kathy broke the kiss for a moment to rebreathe. She could close the mouth now! She could tilt her head away! No, again she accepted the tongue of her rival. Her heart was pumping so much blood it felt like exploding in her chest. Fear, pleasure, embarrassment, intrigue, hate... too many feelings for the young girl. Another round of drool gulped down. Another whirl and twist of her tongue. The kitty was mesmerized, unable to shut her eyes and at least pretend it was Michael.

She was breathless when the kiss eventually broke. Speechless, incredule, confused. That was intense. Way, way more intense than she had ever thought a kiss would be. Her chest heaved in need of air as she was searching for the right words to use. A kiss in the grass. Sunset. The brown falling leaves of a nearby tree. It was so perfect. Only the person was wrong. Before either girl could find the gift of speech again, a clacson broke the moment. The puppy's ears perked up and she looked away. Samantha did not catch that occasion to shove her away: she stood there thinking and elaborating what had just happened. "H-hey!" Was the only thing she could say as Kathy hopped up and waved to someone. "I'm coming dad!" Oh God... did he see them? Samantha lay there, hoping to pass unnoticed as, abruptly just like the kiss started, the tomboy left the other girl there.

She waited for a period which looked like an eternity. The sun was dying behind the houses, telling Sam it was time to go home but she lay there, trying to elaborate what had just happened. Her cheeks were still burning, her heart pumping hard even several minutes after the quick act. Her breath was short, the clothes so costraining... "Mpfh..." She shut the eyes and grumbled before shaky arms and legs helped her stand up. Her dress was a mess. She hated Kathy even more now. So why was she licking her own lips, lingering so much over them? Confused, she looked around in search for her bag.

'Stupid dog'. The tomboy had left the basketball there. Ha. Suited her! The kitty for sure was not going to pick it up! Sam kicked it and went to collect her bag...
