Huh, a new named character in this. And what's with this "Overvoided"?

He finally gained enough money to pay off the healer-priestesses, with enough to spare. Not to mind that it took many weeks for it all.

He held the three gold coins in his paw, and he marched in, shocking those tending to the wounded within. Skyclaw placed his halberd against a wall and found the raccoon easily. Once again, he marched up to her and placed the three gold coins into her paw.

"There," Skyclaw growled out, sharply turning around to resume his previous dutu once again.

"Seek out Lexiss, dark knight," the raccoon said, her voice calm.

Skyclaw glared back at her, the visage of his armour made it seem all the more dangerous, demonic, evil.

"And who's that, if I may ask?" Skyclaw queried, channelling Void and making the amethyst on the pommel begin to crackle and spark.

"A regular helper around this city, bringing in the wounded from bandit attacks. Look for a paladin, with a curved twinblade," the raccoon answered, showing no fear with the dark knight's gift.

Skyclaw took a deep breath, and the amethyst stopped crackling. The tiger-wolf stormed out, snatching his halberd as he did.

'Ah, Redreach, still have a lot to prove to you, don't I?'

The fur leant against a wall, watching as the people of the city's market applied the usual day to day practices. This fur was clad in armour of white sheen, accented gracefully with gold and clung to their androgynous form. The armour took on an angelic motif, wings molded to look feathered and armour fluted. The shape of and fur colour of the tail under the tail armour indicated a red fox.

Once again, all motifs were placed strategically to provide little hinderance whilst still retaining the look. The helm was of the same brand of motif, and still came in two parts. A white and gold sword was held tight on the back, yellow sapphire one with the pommel. The twinblade held the same colour palette, the spines of each blade graced with an angel in flight.

That's when they saw him.

The Void Knight that they saved weeks ago, demon-motifed halberd towering above him.

The angelic fighter pushed themselves off the wall and waltzed over to the halberdier Void Knight, the twinblade held close to their side. Both of them stopped in the centre of the market, two paces from being nose to nose.

"Lexiss?"

Lexiss giggled, shifting their hips and placed a gauntleted paw onto a hip.

"Yes, it is I. And you are, as I didn't catch your name before?"

"Bright Knight, while I do appreciate you saving my life prior, my duty has to be resumed," the Void Knight responded.

Lexiss waved the paw and scoffed, "Please entertain my curiosity, beloved Void Knight. Name, and cause?"

The Void Knight merely stared back at Lexiss, causing the Bright Knight to groan in annoyance.

'These Void Knights and their staunch dedication to their duty,' Lexiss thought. The Bright Knight placed a tip of their twinblade on the Void Knight's plated chest.

"Remember who could've let you die that day, Void Knight. You owe me. Name, and cause?" Lexiss tried again, glaring back.

Seeing the Void Knight's paw clench around the haft of the halberd, but the eyes behind the helm closed, and he sighed heavily.

"The name's Skyclaw, Lexiss, and I've come to find and kill an Overvoided."
