Sorry this one isn't more sensual, I found the story ended up taking up more space than I thought it would. The next one should come pretty fast I hope. Let me know what you think. P.S. At the end, a new character appears!

Tony got in the car first, Jack sliding into the passenger seat. The dog was quiet, but his tail hadn't stopped wagging since the kiss. Something else had also been excited, his pants tented in the groin. The bear turned the volume of the music up, the bass drowning out the other sound. He felt that the dog had said enough, perhaps more than Jack was comfortable with right now. But Tony had pushed the dog all the same, made him accept who he was out loud, to another person.

Jack had his head back, panting as the dog's instincts sometimes got the best of him. He couldn't get the thought of the kiss in his head. He had wanted to let his tongue loose but held it in. Tony hadn't pushed him, hadn't made any moves other than accepting the kiss like a perfect gentleman. The dog almost wish Tony had made a move, had let the kiss devolve into something wild, more passionate. Jack smiled as he snuck his tail around, using a skill that he always had a knack for and not many other furs possessed. He wriggled his tail across the bear's side, lightly stroking his soft brown fur. Tony shuddered in surprise, the tip of the tail tickling him. He reached to the volume control and turned it down, then turned his eyes to Jack, the blue in them questioning Jack's action. Jack laughed back, the laugh more of a yip than anything, making Jack stifle himself.

"Don't do that."

"Do what?"

"Be ashamed of who you are. Your laugh is as much a part of you as everything else."

"It's a little silly. I just don't feel comfortable laughing in front of people I barely know."

"Well we know a little bit about each other. I know that you're smart, you like books, and you most obviously like Levi."

"It's not like that. We're friends."

"Sure you are. I just hope that you'll be that kind of friend to me. I hope you could like me like that."

"Are you asking me out?"

"Not yet. But I will. You're not going to be able to hide from me forever."

"I'm not hiding."

"You've told your parents."

"No, but..."

"Well let me know when you do because I'm only going to date a guy that I don't have to sneak around with."

"What makes you think I would date you anyway?"

"Besides the fact that I'm smart, rich, and good-looking?"

"And humble too!"

"Yeah, not one of my better qualities. We're here, you ready?"

"To face my best friend's ex-girlfriend who was my only other friend. Yeah, no."

"Just think of it as you're meeting one of my friends."

"That's a boyfriend sort of thing"

"Well I told you I'm going to wait on that. But we're going to skip to this step for you."

They walked in the house, Jack's tail tucked between his legs, more nervous than ever. Tony took the lead. "Hey, Chelle! We're here."

"We who?"

"Tony and Jack!"

She appeared on the landing. The moment she saw Jack, her eyes seemed to grow dark. "Hello boys."

She walked down slowly and came up to Tony, going for a cheek kiss. As she passed she whispered into his ear, "What the hell do you think you're doing bringing him here?"

"If you don't recall, we were invited," Jack's ears perked up, Tony having said this aloud.

"Jack, will you excuse us? You know where the television is." And he did. He had spent quite a few hours watching television by himself waiting for Levi and Chelle to do their dirty work. Chelle took Tony upstairs to the kitchen table.

"What do you think you're doing, bringing him here?"

"He is my friend, Chelle. Pretty soon, I think he may become more than a friend. I love working with you in the summer and I was glad I knew someone when my dad said we were moving here but I don't owe you anything."

"He's my cheating boyfriend's best friend. What's worse is that he's who my boyfriend cheated with. What makes you think you have the right to decide to bring him here?"

"I think I can't be angry at a guy who's still trying to figure himself out. Being gay isn't the easiest thing in the world, hon. I'm sorry he hurt you but I'm pretty sure it wasn't on purpose. And I think that since Levi came right out the next day and told you, maybe you should give him another chance too. I don't think that Jack's going to be doing anything with Levi anytime soon."

"What makes you think that?"

"Because I'm going to try to give him a reason to do that kind of thing with me."

"Well that might be a little more than I wanted to know. I'll try to be nice them, but I can't promise anything. I was betrayed, something that's not so easy to forgive."

"I wouldn't have you do anything else."

"Fine." As she pouted, she remembered how Tony had treated her this summer. Something inside her respected him. She had been a wreck this summer, Levi and she had been in a rough patch. Tony had been there through her whining and bickering about the bear. But he must have seen more to the story. He and Levi had needed almost no urging from her to become friends. He must have seen something about him through her. God, she hated it when he was so level-headed. He never seemed to flinch at the prospect of new people, new situations. He always seemed to have the best advice. Too bad he was gay. "Now go downstairs and get your beau."

"I don't have a beau. Yet."

"Doesn't he have to agree first?"

"I'm pretty sure he already has."

"Watch out, Jack is a little skittish."

"I've noticed."

"All right. For you I'm going to forgive and forget. But I'm not taking back my cheater of a boyfriend."

"Jack! We're leaving."

"Hey, I'm not yours to boss around." Jack called from downstairs. They met on the landing, Chelle giving Jack a stare.

"We're okay Jack."

"You're not angry?"

"Pissed as hell. But it wasn't all you. And you aren't my boyfriend. But if you ever betray me like this again, we won't be friends. I will get even. And your life will be a living hell."

"I deserve that."

"Yes, you do."

They left the house and picked up Sherry on their way to the game. They all laughed and joked, poking fun at the Tony. Somewhere along the way Jack fell asleep, his head cradled safely in Tony's lap. When they arrived, Chelle and Sherry left Jack in the car with Tony, at Tony's insistence. Chelle and Sherry entered the bleachers and sat next to some of the other girls from Sherry's soccer team. Lexi, a cheetah, was loud and raucous, chatting about everything under the sun. The other one, Cameron, seemed enthralled by the game, never taking her eyes off it.

The game was good, more than good for Levi. The bear had kept several sacks from occurring. The score was 20-7 by halftime. He kept looking for Jack and Tony in the stands but couldn't find their faces anywhere. What he had found was Chelle, Sherry, and their friends. He knew she was leaving for Chicago yet tonight but he really wanted to talk to her. He wanted her and yet he wanted something new. Truly, he had no idea what he wanted. He shook away the feeling and put his concentration back in the game. Mike had scored two touchdowns and was the star of the game. They won handily, even playing some third and fourth stringers in the fourth quarter. Near the end of the game he was taken out and he got a chance to let his mind wander. Sitting on the bench, he drowned himself in water. Tired as hell, his mind moved to some of the players standing on the side of the field. Blake, the rhinoceros he lifted with, was tall and bulky. Levi's eyes wandered from the broad shoulders, down the back, to the firm buttocks, slightly blocked by the pads. His eyes stayed there for a long while because he couldn't seem to focus, too tired from the game he had played. Someone nudged him from the side. It was Mark, a sleek black panther that he had never really talked to except for summer football camp.

"See something you like?"

"What? I've been dating Chelle for the last year and a half and you ask me if I see something I like?

"Look, it ain't a crime or nothing. Just wondering if maybe that's why you broke up with her."

"She didn't leave me much choice."

"I'm sorry to hear that. Guy like you doesn't deserve a thing like that."

"I kind of did. I was an ass and I cheated on her. She didn't deserve what I did to her."

"Well do you regret it?"

"More than you could ever know."

"Well at least you're not a bad guy then. Mistakes do get made, especially when sex comes into the picture."

"Speaking from experience?"

"More than one. Usually involving large amounts of alcohol and a clingy personality. One-night stands don't seem to work very well for the long term relationship type. They tend to hurt each and every time."

"Why don't you try for something more permanent?"

"Just haven't found the right person."

The game ended in victory. Mark and Levi continued to chat until the end of it, making plans to meet up at the party later. Sherry left with her soccer friends early to get ready for the party. Chelle hiked it back to the car to find a sleeping bear and a still sleeping dog. She climbed in the car and reached into the back seat, giving Tony a shake. The bear woke and handed her the keys, letting the sleeping dog lie. Chelle drove the car to her house, her parents waiting to leave. Tony gave Chelle a peck on the cheek in friendship after literally shaking the dog awake. Chelle walked in the house as Jack and Tony moved to the front seat. "So Jack, party or my place? You look tired or should I say ex-tired."

"I don't care. I just got a nap so it's kinda up to you."

"I'm making you choose."

"Well then, we did promise Levi. Just a little while, okay?"

"All good with me."
