#6 of Two Worlds (Finished)

"So, why were you and Damien in the hallway, together?" Demetrius asked as he sat on...

"So, why were you and Damien in the hallway, together?" Demetrius asked as he sat on Kevin's bed, leaning against the wall with a plate of dinner Kevin had just recently had. Demetrius devoured it, having sauce covering his muzzle without noticing. Kevin thought of him being a kid eating messy foods.

"I told you, he saved me from getting in trouble. The King could have find me if it weren't for Damien anyway." Kevin avoided his gaze and at the math equations on his desk, for some reason he found staring at them right now was amusing if it meant not talking to Demetrius. God, Kevin hated him.

Demetrius never responded, in fact he didn't do anything. He sat there with the plate on his lap, his gaze an empty space. He looked disappointed, "I see..." He broke the silence a minute later, "You sure?"

Kevin thought for a moment in silence, then sighed, "Yes, Demetri, I am sure..."

Demetrius stopped what he was doing, ears falling to the sides and gaze shooting up at Kevin, he held a chicken wing close to his mouth but his face reaction shot to sadness and shock, "what did you say?"

Kevin looked at Demetrius, noting his reaction and broke the silence with soft cough, "Say what?"

"Demetri..." He replied in a low voice, his ear's twitching at the word that left his mouth.

Kevin looked around, confused, "Yeah... So..."

"My dad... Called me that." He spoke with a low voice, his glacier ice irises freezing into Kevin. Sending shiver pulses through his spine, "No one has called me that since he died..." He was like a hurt puppy. Looking and sounding so little that Kevin felt he was the taller one kicking the puppy down farther.

"Oh... I'm sorry. Demetrius I never knew-"

"No!" Demetrius got up, setting the plate aside on the bed and rushing up to the human with silent steps, kneeling down in beside Kevin and placing one paw on his hand which held the pencil for him to write the math equations, it felt colder than his eyes, "Don't apologise. Please, you're the first to call me Demetri in ages... Say it again." His voice was different, almost like a beg but with a hint of demand.

Kevin looked at the paw, the black palm pad felt dry but above his hand his fur was a black, soft bundle of warm. It made Kevin realize that Demetrius was a dog still, but why did another part of Kevin believe he was almost like a human, "Demetri?" He replied slowly, examining the bright reaction on the Husky's face.

Demetrius felt warm inside at the repeated word that he was speechless. All he could do was smile and ignore the burn in his eyes of the thought of his father.

Demetrious pulled Kevin into a hug as if it was a reflex. Kevin's heart felt like it skipped a million beats.

"Who knew Demetrius would be that kind of dog." The black female Leopard purred under her breath and rested her chin on the top of her hand, which held her cup of rum. Her deep golden eyes stared at the bartender who served the drinks, wondering if her teeth would appreciate sinking into that muscular Deer body.

"Calm down, Flare, your hormones are skyrocketing again." Damien smirked as he side glanced down at his feline friend, letting his eyes devour the chance of looking the Leopard up and down. God she was a goddess.

Flare smirked and looked up, twisting her body so that she completely faced the Tiger, her breasts held firm into the cloth that circled around her chest, hooking in the back with a couple pins. The Tiger couldn't help but notice the exposed stomach, her skinny form looked wonderful enough that he was ready to throw her on the bar counter and do her right there. Though with Damien's past experience the Deer would have his dagger ready this time, "Oh please, I'm not a whore." She moved her skirt up past her thigh, showing a hidden dagger sheathed and smeared in dry blood.

Flare smirked as Damien growled in lust, he was turned on already. He loved women with knives; it was a fetish of his he wasn't happy to admit. He knew she was an Assassin, and Damien never mind at all since they were 'Friends with Benefits'.

"You know, as the Kings Royal Guard I am authorised to kill you for being an assassin." He smirked back.

"Mhm, then kill me." She came closer, almost off her seat to press her waist into his. Damien almost cracked, "I can take you."

Damien smirked and grabbed her shoulder, pushing her back a bit for him to cool his urge to take her. Eugene, the deer bartender, kept an eye on them, hoping to have the chance to kick them out since he despised them.

The Leopard laughed to herself, knowing she won. "Speaking of the King, he sent his assistant to me, asking to kill Demetrius' hubby." She laughed and took a drink of her rum. Her blue bandana's wings hung in mid air as she tilted her head.

"Oh? That's something that would ruin the Kings harem. How much is he paying you?" Damien looked at her neck... It was vulnerable.

"Forty million gold bars. Plus another one thousand to keep it silent." She said it as if that much money was nothing to her.

Damien whistled, "That's more than I'll make in my lifetime."

She smirked and gave him a look of lust. Now she was the one being turned on, "I love it when you let your guard down."

"What do you mean?"

She smirked and pulled him into a kiss.

"Oh, I see!" He smirked into it, feeling the urge of taking her in his stomach again. His large paws slowly moved to her slim hips, her night black fur glistening with sweat and threads stuck to her skin like leeches. He felt his heart pound harder against his chest, its 3 second pumping slammed hard against his rib cage. Flare felt it, and moved her petite paws down his chest armour, unlatching one of the straps that was bound down his centre chest line.

Eugene growled and threw his wet cloth on the two, "Take that elsewhere! No one needs to see that." He sounded grumpier then the last time, almost like an elder yelling at the kids to 'get off his lawn'.

Flare Smirked and cleared her throat as she pulled back, "Sorry, Eugene. We won't do it again."

"That's what you think-Ow!"

Flare kicked the taller Tiger, putting her innocent smile on for the old deer who, with a growl, grumbled away to help another customer.

Damien sighed and tried to calm himself, taking a drink of rum and shaking his head from the groggy scene that just happened to him a minute ago. God I can't be teased like this and be stopped at the same time! Damien thought, taking the last bit of rum down in one gulp.

"I wish you were fully straight." Damien blurted almost loudly. Where did that come from? Was he feeling the rum already?

Flare laughed, "Hey, I'm fucking you aren't I? Just be glad for that, though I have to say being interested in both sexes is quite... the adventure." Her smirk shown him her white razor teeth, they were the same ones who always bite into Damien's neck when they make love. She was a feisty one, and Damien loved that about her the most.

"Oh I'm sure both sexes enjoy your company the most." He slurred and grinned as well.

"Obviously." She scoffed, "Though I get the feeling you enjoy my presence most."

Damien laughed and nodded his head, "Oh yeah." He purred and leaned in closer. Her face features turning back into lust again.

"You're drunk." She smirked and shoved his face away.

Damien shrugged the rejection off and sighed. Resting his head on the table and starring forward into space.

"Though don't be blaming me for being the crooked one, Mr. 'I love-"

"-Shh!" Damien shot up as his head registered her finishing sentence, bolting upward and placing his paws on her mouth.

She looked at him blankly, pulling his hands away from her muzzle to look at her in the eyes. She saw shame, "What? Don't tell me that it wasn't true. You two may have been the Double D of the kingdom, but I saw the connection between you two." She gave a serious look and folded her arms, but before Damien could protest she spoke up again, "I know! I know the story between you two, jeez. How could I not after having to kill all those rumour spreaders throughout the kingdom for you." She groaned and decided it was her turn to put her head onto the counter and stare blankly.

"We weren't together," Damien replied coldly, "I was young and confused and not to mention fucking stupid! Double D never happened; I thought we said we would drop those years ago."

She put a paw against his cheek, "Sweetie," she tapped his cheek, "No one forgot about that."

I smelled him when he pushed me against the wall, reeking of sweat. I stood there shocked and tried to move but, it was hopeless. I couldn't gather the strength to push him away. I was weak.

_ As the King passed us, I opened my eyes to find myself at eye level with Damien's neck, seeing a chain rounding each side and down his chest._

_ I followed them down to the end, finding a capital 'D' facing backwards, as if it was a 'D' facing the left instead of the right... it was gold, it could make that much out, but it seemed cracked-as if torn off something._

_ Damien pushed away from me after he checked to see if the King was gone. Looking down and smiling at me. I tried to find the words to respond but couldn't._

_ "Damien," Demetrius called from behind the Tiger. The castle hallway around use slowly went see through and vanished in thin air, as if it was translucent and wasn't there in the first place. Demetrius walked past me and walked up to Damien, who smiled even more and looked away from his eyes. Was he blushing?_

_ Demetrius turned to face me and I noticed a same golden chain as Damien's...What was that...?_

Kevin woke up slowly, finding himself resting on his side. The room felt damp, wet and cold. Opening his eyes, the blurriness took seconds to clear before noticing where he was: Demetrius' room.

Sitting up, he found himself on Demetrius' bed-why is it always the bed? He thought-looking over to find the Husky laying next to him.

"Why am I not surprised?" Kevin grumbled and looked away for a second before a glimmer hit his eye. Something shinny on Demetrius.

Glancing over, Kevin's heart stopped for a second: A golden necklace wrapped around his neck, with a capital 'D' facing the right instead of the left.

Almost like Damien's.

Alright, I'm always lazy with spell check. Sorry if you guys are sick of that ^^;
