"Oh Yuri...I love you so much." Mark whisp...

"Oh Yuri...I love you so much." Mark whispered softly as he gently stroked my cheek.

"Mark..." He started to lean over to kiss me. Beep! Beep!...Beep! Beep!

I slammed my fist down on the snooze button on my alarm clock. "Shut...the...hell...up. I'm awake." I grumbled as I slowly started to wake from my dream. "Ugh. Stupid clock. Why did you have to go and ruin the most wonderful dream of my life?" Even though I didn't want to, I slowly got up and got dressed for school. Oh well. At least I'll see Mark there. The thought already brightened my day.

I went downstairs to find Mom waiting for me. "Hey sweetie. Want some breakfast?" I nodded. While she was busy making pancakes, I took a quick look around.

"Okaa-san? Where's Rob?" She stopped cooking and stared at me in this funny way. "He went to go shopping...why do you ask?"

'Because I'm...curious? Why can't I ask where he is?"

"Well, before you never ask where he is. You've never taken an interest before." She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. "Are you finally starting to accept him as your father?

"Okaa-san, I think something's burning." I said dryly, gesturing behind her.

"Oh no!" she cried, hastily trying to save the food. "But really. Are you?"

I didn't say anything. The thing was, I didn't really know. He WAS trying really hard to reach out to me but I never reached out to him. Whenever he tried, it would be like my arms stayed at my sides.

"Okaa-san...are you sure you and Dad would never get back together?" This was a risky question. If I talk about anything related to my real dad. I'm basically asking for my death certificate.

"Yes. I'm sure." She clenched her fists tightly. "I can never forgive that man for what he did..." She said bitterly to herself.

"What did he do?"

'Eat up. You're gonna be late for school." She went back upstairs. Okaaay. So it's something he did. Maybe he cheated on her? I sat there thinking of all the possible things he might have done. I came up with a lot of stuff. So I used my brain to cancel some out. Unfortunately, my brain wasn't in a helpful mood today.

I got Patrick to give me a ride to a school. We found a parking spot that wasn't too far from the school and we met up with everyone else. I didn't see Mark, or John. I was starting to wonder if they would show up at all.

"Hey Yuri. You look as lovely as ever" a sweet voice whispered softly in my ear.

"Mark!" I turned around to face him. I saw John sneak over to Chris. Slyly, Mark leaned forward so from afar he looked like he was whispering something to me. But he angled his head and gave me a peck on the cheek.

"Hey, stop. What if someone saw?"

"No one did. Besides, you know you like it." He chuckled.

"So what if I do?" I responded, raising my eyebrow.

"Then I shall gladly kiss you once more...after school." he smiled as the bell rang.

"Aww!"

"Class, we have two new students. Please welcome Zen Whitepaw and Maximum Ragnarok." Mrs. Guin announced. I looked up to see the new students walk in. One of them was a silver dragon with bluish green eyes. Two onyx horns jutted out just above his eyes, each arching outward and curving back, ending in a sharp point. He had a nice frame, broad-shouldered and muscular. He wore all black. He had his arms crossed and he looked at the other students like they were nothing but filthy maggots. The other student was a snow leopard with red bangs with the rest of his hair black. He wore all black and also had his arms crossed. He kept his head his down.

"Great, emo." a voice whispered softly nearby. It wasn't loud, but the snow leopard flicked his ears and turned his head. Staring at the fur who whispered. Suddenly, there was a loud *slap*.

"Ow!" the fur clutched his head in pain and wonder.

"Tristin, I would very much appreciate it if you would stop drawing attention to yourself and pay attention." Mrs. Guin scowled at the fur.

"Hmph." the snow leopard smirked, seeming satisfied with himself. Suddenly, right where the patch of sunlight from the window shined, I could almost see the outline of a arm. It was very long and seemed to connect to the snow leopard's body. It seemed to be moving towards the snow leopard. Once it was out of the sunlight, I couldn't see it anymore. I looked up to see Zen watching me. He must have seen me staring at the patch of sunlight. Then he winked and put a finger to his lips. "Shhh..." No one else but me heard it.
