.Hack//Furry -The Return-Chapter one

Daybreak broke through the clear windows of the small room, seeming to shine on the young werewolf's head as he sleeps. His door opens with a loud bang as if someone kicked it down; it was the werewolf's younger brother Kai who did so. Kai looks at his brother Tigz with a bored and annoyed face, wanting him up for the special day. As Kai thought a second how to wake Tigz up he then grins with an excitement in his eyes, he then jumps on his brothers bed to wake him.

"What in the world are you doing jumping on my bed Kai? You're 10 years old now and yet you're acting as if you were 5 years old!" Shouted Tigz annoyed by his brothers actions.

"Well I want you up because it's my birthday and I want my cake and gifts now!" Demands Kai. Crossing his arms and sighing.

Tigz sits up in his bed and then stand up "Fine I will get your gifts, but first get the hell out of my room!" Yells Tigz in an angry voice and walks toward the door.

Kai jumps off Tigz's bed and then runs out the room, however before he left the room with a evil grin as he closes Tigz's door "I'll just be taking pictures while I wait my cake and gifts." He said mockingly as he ran down to the living room.

Tigz only sighs as he put on a smooth black shirt with a Chinese symbol of ice on the back of the shirt "He's so frustrating to have as a brother in this family, then again he is not like mom and dad, one is too forceful about how to treat him and the other is so hesitant to do anything about him." Mutters Tigz to himself as he opens the closet door where Kai's gifts lay in the floor, cutely wrapped in a green and red wrapping , after thinking about how nicely fashion he then picks them up and brought them into the kitchen. "Kai should be lucky that mom and dad even remembered this year, every other time I was the one who got him gifts and said it's from them." Remembered Tigz, setting the gifts on the cherry oak table and walks over to the refrigerator to pull out the chocolate cake their mother made for Kai's birthday

Kai runs over to the kitchen and almost knocks over Tigz while he is holding the cake in his paws "Yes! Ok what should I open up first!?" Shouted Kai in excited, already ripping up the wrapping of the biggest gift. After a few seconds he opens it and sees a computer game with visual glasses and controller "N-no way...dad got me the best game ever!!" screamed Kai as he ran around the table and bumps into it making the gifts fall to the floor.

"Kai what the hell are you doing? Mom and dad paid a lot of money to get you all of these gifts and you just knocked them over like they are pieces of shit" complains Tigz to Kai, picking up the gifts, then setting them back on the table. "Be more respectful for what they brought you brother or maybe I can tell them what you did." Explains Tigz leaning against the wall with his dark blue eyes fixes on the computer game gear.

Kai grabs all the pieces for the computer game and runs to Tigz's room to play as there is only one working computer in the house, ignoring what his brother told him. "I'm going to online and make my character the best to ever step foot on there!" Shouts Kai loudly while installing the game to the computer.

Tigz walks to his room and looks at his brother as he installs the game "Kai, you better not mess up my laptop again or I am going to kick your ass." Tigz warns his brother, sitting down on the bed and laying back on his three pillows with dark green colors.

"Do not worry Tigz, this is so easy to do and besides my friend already showed me yesterday when I was over his house. Dustin looks so amazing in the game I want to be the same fighter as him, Flick Reaper, that's what he is all about!" Explains Kai with much excitement in his voice, he clicks on the next button the computer and the game turn on "Now it is time to have some fun!" Yells Kai out loud with his ears perking up.

As Kai began to put the game together, Tigz walks around the room and sits down on his bed with his left paw covering his dark blue eyes from the bright light of his windows. He lies back with his thoughts in motion of what his brother could be doing once he finishes installing the game. A few hours past when Kai starts to jump around the room with his paws high in the air "What are you so happy about now?" Asks Tigz with his head facing his brother as his arms hang off the bed.

"My game is ready! Brother you have to play now, right now so come on!" nags Kai, pulling Tigz's arms to try to get him to get off the bed. "If you don't play then I will tell father how much you did not help me install the game and I had to find out all by myself!" vows Kai with his eyes looking right into Tigz eyes.

"Man do you ever leave me alone? Fine I will play, but only for a little while got it?" replies Tigz as he lifts himself off the bed and over to the computer chair "What do I have to do just put on these headsets?" Ask Tigz looking at the headset weirdly.

"Duh, what do you think it's for? A toy older people use at night when they have no one with them?" Giggles Kai as he puts on the headset and pulls the visors down.

Tigz sighs and puts on the headsets as well and pulls down the visors "Huh? What the hell this is weird, where am I?" Tigz ask himself, seeing rings of light around him and a screen with words saying class types. "So this game is a virtual world, nice well let's see there are class types that use a certain type of weapons. Hmmm, I think I will go with the Blade Brandier class." Tigz says to himself as he touches the button for the class, without a second to response he had a black jacket with black jeans and a katana on his side. A few moments pass after choosing his class, he found himself in a large town with a floating ring with a clear blue in the inner ring. "What is this place?" Ask Tigz as he walks forward hesitantly.

"This is Root town, its where all beginner start at and it also severs as a main town that everyone can meet up and make parties." Explains Kai to Tigz, walking pass him with his dark blue vest and silver jeans, carrying a twin battle knives with him. "This place looks just like the real world, but only thing is we don't battle monsters outside of the game so to me I like the game world better than the real world shit." Kai explains with his arms high in the air.

Tigz looks up at the sky, closing his eyes from the sun setting from the south and the breeze of the cool cold air relaxing the mind "Even though this is a game, it feels real and relaxing. Back in the real world it's not too common to feels this kind of breeze, but I guess that's how things are in this game, they want us to feel an experience we never felt before right?" Tigz says with a calm tone in which is not normal for him to be so settle.

"Now you are getting the picture brother! Anyways let's go to this place my friend Dustin told me about ok?" Kai says as he runs toward the floating ring "This is a Chaos Gate, this is where you can go to areas to fight monsters and stuff, you use field words to go to that area, for example the place we are going to is ?** Hidden Forbidden Bulwark**"Kai continues as he put in the words for the area and then golden rings appear going downward on him and Tigz, golden rings were going upward on the Chao Gate and then the two disappear.

They reappear in front of a large wall that seem to tower over the world, Tigz looks behind him to see long opening of the ground that was deep enough to believe it could be a endless drop if someone falls. "Hey Kai, what is this place known for? Because it is bothering the hell out of me that there is a huge hole behind me" Ask Tigz with a worry look upon his face.

"It's known as the Morrigu Barrow Wall, it's a great gate that protects the path to heaven. Dustin told me this place is perfect to see on when you first start the game, so let's look around Tigz." Kai says with excitement in his voice as he runs towards the wall in a happy way.

"A wall to protect the path to heaven, in this game I wonder what is heaven to this place." Tigz whispers to himself as he walks toward the wall, looking up to see how tall it stands. Then without a warning, the area became dark and damp with the feel of the air giving a sinister touch. "What the-"Tigz about to shout out, but a dark figure jumps out from the large opening in the ground and knocks Tigz down with its large arm.

Kai stops quickly from running and turns around to see that his brother has been hurt "What the hell? Dustin never said anything about monster being here, but here is one right in front of me...wait this is not the time for that, Tigz you ok?!" Kai yells with concern in his voice as he runs to Tigz's aid, but once he got over there the dark figure strikes him down with a brutal punch. The dark figure which seems like some beast starts to walk over to Kai with its arm ready to finish him off.

"Kai!" Tigz yells out as he forces himself to get back up and then pulls out his black katana to cut the beast down, but only to find that when he swing down the beast was unaffected by his attack "Come on you damn monster, attack me already!." Screams Tigz as he swings again at the beast, but again his strength was nothing compare to the beast in front of him.

The beast lets out a huge roar that makes Tigz fall back onto the ground, then the monster arm starts to glow a golden light, his arm began to form six rings around the arm in which then a stream of gold beams shoots toward Kai "What's that light, no wait its..." Kai softly speaks and then he is hit by the golden beams. Seconds later Kai's character starts to fade away into nothingness.

"Kai...this is just a game so he will brought back in town...its only a game Tigz" Tigz says to himself, but as he opens his eyes more the monster was aiming for him with the golden rings "What kind of move could it be..." Tigz ask himself, but before the attack could shoot at him, it was shoot down by a dual gunner with twin desert eagles who seem to just appear out of thin air.

"You ok kid? You got yourself in a hell of a lot of trouble, that monster can't be killed for shit." Said the dual gunner, healing Tigz with one of his portion "You should log off for now kid, it's dangerous out here right now." Continues the dual gunner, walking toward the wall and places his paw on it to seem as if sense something beyond the wall.

"I...ok thanks sir, um what is your name if I may ask?" Tigz ask before leaving the area, his eyes looking at the dual gunner, seeing that he is a arctic fox with pure white fur and green eyes.

"Don't worry about it kid, you do not need to know my name just yet, in time we can talk about what you are want to know about the monster." Said the dual gunner, walking away to a distance.

"What does he mean by that...I better log off" Says Tigz to himself as he logs off the game and then takes off the headset. "Kai, that monster was strong as hell you know?" joke Tigz, but his eyes widen as he saw his brother on the ground with no movement....
