#1 of Two Worlds (Finished)

"Sire, Lord Demetrius has requested to see you with the human..."

The black...

"Sire, Lord Demetrius has requested to see you with the human..."

The black leopard King sat on his throne on top of the 34 steep climb. The King, King Alexander the third, scoffed and looked down at the old rat who called himself the Kings trusted apprentice. That was pure rubbish if you asked the king himself. The King rubbed the bags under his eyes from lack of sleep and looked out the window sill to his left; the sun was almost below the horizon line... It was soon going to be night time and Demetrius, the kings most trusted knight, requested his presence. As long as it keeps him away from his grouchy wife, King Alexander was alright with it.

"Yes, yes bring them in." The King waved his hand effortlessly and sighed.

Humans. In this dimension, the anthro colonies hated humans with a passion. In the human dimension they treated animals like... pets! Anthro's hated that so much it burned their fur. And yet somehow a human managed to cross into the anthro world from the human world...

"Sire." Demetrius walked in with his armour shinning as usual through the suns glares beaming in through the window sills. The large muscular husky walked in with his usual tough walk, but this time the King noticed...Frustration? "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but this is... Urgent."

The King lifted an eyebrow before noticing Demetrius had a human boy grabbed by one wrist, roughly pulling him into the throne room, "Oh? And what might be the urgent situation be, Lord Demetrius?" The king rested his chin on the back of his paw, leaning to his side a bit and crossing his legs to make it appear he was intrigued in the situation-which he wasn't entirely but had to because people's needs were part of his job. It's why the other Anthro's chose him.

"Even though we do not know how this...Boy... crossed into our dimension-magic or not-it sickens me to say that he may have to...stay." Demetrius looked down hesitantly, rubbing the back of his ear before roughly pulling the boys right arm forward, showing blood streaming down from his wrist to his fingertips and dripping off slowly, marking the white marble floor with his own dark red tint. The boy gave a painful gasp at the movement as the blood caught the Kings eye before any of the guards in the room, and the scent of it was strong. The King could smell the boy's own blood scent but... with another mixture of blood...?

The King pondered a thought for a moment before the awkward silence became noticeable to anyone present in the room. Mixture of blood only meant one thing...

And that's when it hit the king like a warhorse smacking into wall, "Demetrius..." choked King Alexander, eyes now wide open with horror and shock, "Who is the...?" He couldn't finish, he couldn't imagine the thought of this...Sickness!

Demetrius was still looking at the floor when the King asked him the question-or rather tried to. Demetrius wanted to take out his dagger and slit his throat right there on the spot to forget about the incident he just had with the boy... Stupid kid! He thought. "Your majesty," Demetrius started with a low voice that was barely audible in the large throne room, "I-I-I-I'm sorry..." He choked and held up his right wrist next to the boys, his arm was bleeding from the wrist as well, and by the look from it the cut must have been deep as the boys. Demetrius slammed his eyelids shut as short gasps filled the room, one being the Kings.

The boy looked at the King with scared eyes and looked around the room, seeing everyone with the same reaction: Shock and horror, "Demetrius... How could you...?" The King cut off again and stood up slowly, not wanting to sit anymore from the horror that was bestowed before him. Demetrius was his best and loyal night, and now he's done this... with a human!

"W-w-what?" and finally, through the awkward-shocked-silence of the room, the boy spoke up with a voice that was, too, barely audible, "What's... this mean?" the boy maybe scared but sure had balls to speak up in front of the whole throne room.

"It means..." Demetrius' voice was almost like a growl, and from the look the boy was giving him he was surly frustrated. The husky before the boy turned and looked him in the eyes, mouth open and trying to find the words to speak, "It means... We're engaged..."

With the sound of a five second ringing, Kevin Justice woke up with a gasp that sent his body upward, looking around to find himself in his room. In his normal room? Had it been a dream? It felt so... real!

Kevin sighed and rubbed his eyes, maybe he did dream the whole thing even if it did seem so real-and just like a smack in the face the scent of blood filled his nostrils.

Kevin removed his hands from his eyes and focused on his wrist. Blood stained on his wrist around a cut, it seemed to be dried for a few hours but Kevin knew only one thing.

The dream was real...
