It was the start of a normal day in the Westland Secondary School. The children at this school did what they normally do, the Wolves bullied every one especially the Foxes, the dogs got in fights with the cats and the other spices just play by their selves. It was after school and they were all going home but on one of the kid's car journey home his life was going to change. This kid was a 12 year old fox named Max and he was always bullied by the wolves and even some of the other foxes because he was small but this never changed his mood, he was always happy. It was the journey back and the fox was in a car with his mom and dad. He was in the back of the car chatting to his parents.

"It's the weekend yay. Mom what's for lunch?" Max said over the top of his Game Boy.

"We're having Mac and Cheese because we're nearly out of food so you can help me get some more supplies tomorrow." Said Max's mom who is eye candy, she has short ginger hair and blue eyes. She always looks wonderful because she wears short skirts and those tops with no arms.

"Mac and Cheese that is fuck disgusting. We always have that!!" said Max in a whiny voice and made a disgusted face.

His dad then turned around and smacked Max softly on the side and said "Watch you language young man!!" Max's dad took his eye of the road for too long and didn't see that he swerved but it was too late there was a lorry in front of him and he crashed into it at a speed of 60 miles an hour. The front of the car was instantly crushed but it didn't stop there his mom wasn't wearing a seat belt and she was thrown into the glass where a glass piece came off and went right into her head she died instantly. Max's father was saved slightly by the air bag but it was cut a second later by a piece of metal that was then jammed into Max's dad's chest just missing his heart but another piece went into his arm. And then it all stopped and Max was curled up in a ball after a piece of metal cut his chest. He was crying so hard he fainted and that is all that is known.

4 weeks later

Max was crying in his bed at the orphanage in the middle of the night from another nightmare of the crash. He had had his birthday just 5 days after the crash it was the worst day of his life because his dad had given him to the orphanage because he said he can have anything that reminds him of her. Max hasn't talked in 3 weeks and some of the furs have started to believe that he has lost his voice but it's just because he sees no point in speaking. A lot of families have been in and seen him but they all just got frightened at his silence and he is ok with that because he is frighten by it himself. He was expecting to be visited by another family to day and he knew it would go the same way. Alex, the orphanage's worker that tries and gets a family for the children, would ask him to tell them his name he would say nothing then Alex would talk to the families a bit and they would make their minds up but so far no offers.

The next family is just entering and he knew it wouldn't be them because they were wolves and wolves never take foxes. The family come over to the fox and look at him, then as Alex always dose he said "well go on them your name" but I just look at them and say nothing. "I'm sorry he's kind of a shy. Come over to my office and we can talk in private." Alex said in a sweet voice. They walked over to his office and started to talk but Max couldn't hear them.

"Well I like the shyness and come on look at what has happened to him. I would be like that too. Does he get in trouble?" said the female wolf.

"No not at all. He is too shy to. We just hope he would talk. He's such a quiet kid" Said Alex.

"Well I think he needs a family and he is very cute. I think we might make an offer what do you think Alice" Said the male wolf.

"I think we should Dan. Let's do it" Said Alice in a happy tone.

"That's great I've got the paper work here. Just sign on the dotted line and he is yours" Said Alex in surprise.

They did the paper work then went to Max and Alice Said "hay cutie you're coming home with us ok." Max didn't know how to react so he smiles and hugged Alice.

It was a long car journey to the wolves home and Max just sat in the back of the car watching all the houses going by. When they stopped at a average sized house they turned into its drive way and then Alice turned around and looked at Max and said "welcome to your new home." We got out of the car and walked into the house.

The house was a fair mess there was a plat still on the table and clothes everywhere. Alice shouted to the top floor "Ryan I asked you to clean this place up and we've got a surprise for you."

At that a moan from upstairs came and a dirty looking wolf come down the stairs and said "what is it... mom why is there a fucking fox in the house."

"Don't speak like that he is your new brother his mom was killed and his dad left him, so show some respect" Said Dan angrily.

"Sorry, why do I have a new brother?" said Ryan with a tone of irritants in his voice.

"Because his parents were close friends and were his unofficial god parents" Said Alice angrily.

"Whatever" Ryan said then he left and started to clean up.

"Sorry about that Max. He can be mean sometimes, let me show you to your room" said Alice leading Max up the stairs and to the 3 door to the right next to a room with the words keep out on the door.

He unpacked his stuff the when to bed and thought "What a year this will be."

2 weeks later

"First day at his new school" Max thought while eating breakfast, He still hasn't spoken not even spoken to his new family. He plays with Alice and Dan but just hasn't spoken yet but there not pushing him so speak.

Max was walking to the bus stop alone because Ryan ran affront so not to be seen with Max. Max didn't care he didn't like Ryan that much mostly because of his friends he hand out with. Every time they came around they would bullied Max and Ryan wouldn't stop them. He would even laugh when they gave him a beating no a lethal one but it would hurt.

Max sat on an empty seat and just watched what was going on around him. He watched a few female foxes before they vanished from vision behind their chairs. Max was watch all these foxes, wolves, Dalmatians, est. but he then saw what he thought was one of the most pretty girls but she was being bullied by wolves and other spices she walked down towards Max and she then asked him "Hay is this seat free?" and Max Just nodded, max thought there was something wrong with her voice but couldn't work it out. She sat down next to Max and then she asked "what's your name?" Max took a piece of paper out from his pocked and wrote on it "Max" then he pointed at her. She under stood what he was asking and said "my name's Jake." Max was nodding but then choked with surprise. He thought "Fuck she's a boy. Fuck." Jake understood by his reaction and then said "yes I'm am a guy and am gay. Do you want me to leave?" Jake started to sit up but Max grabbed his hand and wrote on the paper "no, it's ok." Jake smiled and sat down again and started to talk "well I see you can't talk, you aren't homophobic and you're quite cute. Are you gay?" Max Put a finger over the "it's ok" on the paper and Showed him the "no". This made Jake look unhappy but he then just said "That's ok." Jake just spoke to Max and told him about himself and Max just nodded.

They reached school and Jake took Max to their first Lesson Because They found out that they were in the same class. Which was English, luckily they were just writing and he didn't have to speak but when he was asked to speak Jake just said "miss he hasn't spoken since his mother's death." The teacher just looked embarrassed and went on with the work.
