A New World
#1 of In Another World
I guess you can say this might be a continuation of "Pikachu's Fantasy", I know a lot of people wanted Pikachu to be with a Riolu Ash. But I did want that to be its known thing. But to sum up this first of many chapters, Pikachu wakes up in another version of the Pokemon world where all the Human characters are Pokemon. He soon meets this worlds Ash and offers to join him in his adventure. But little did they know they might get a lot closer.
Riolu Ash x Pikachu (M/M)
Pikachu continued to walk down the rocky path. He could only remember the cold feeling of his body slowly morphing into stone while in Ash's arms. Then all of a sudden he wakes up on a warm afternoon in a town that looks a lot like Ash's home, Pallet Town. But, it was off. All the buildings, the homes and even the lab that belonged to Professor Oak were all made of tree logs and roofs made from leaves and straw.
As Pikachu made his way toward the large building he stopped and quickly hid behind a bush when he saw two Pokemon off in the distance. A Riolu and an Umbreon. Pikachu could tell they were both males from the view he had, and what a good view he had. His eyes continued to gaze a the Riolu's junk, looking a little too big to be on a small Pokemon like him. It looked like it would fit better on a healthy Lucario more. The two Pokemon seemed to be arguing over something. Luckily Pikachu was close enough to hear the conversation.
"Tomorrows the day. The day I'll go off on my adventure with my partner. I would be lying if I said I'll miss you, Ashy Boy." Pikachu couldn't believe it, the Umbreon sounded just like Gary Oak, and did he just call the Riolu Ash? He continues to watch as the Riolu gritted is teeth in anger.
"Just you wait, Gary! I'll be starting my adventure too and I'm gonna win the league!" Gary just laughed back.
"You seem to forget, loser. This league is different. It's teams of two,"
The Riolu shuddered. "W-What?"
"That's right. A team of two Pokemon must travel to different towns and cities within the Kanto region and chanalege the Gym's in a Double Battle to win badges. Two bad for you, Ash. You don't have any friends and I doubt any Pokemon with a brain would want to team up and travel around with you."
Pikachu could see the Riolu step back a bit, looking like he was trying his best to not start crying.
"As much as I would love to stay and chat, I have to get home and start getting ready for tomorrow. Gotta let my fan girls know when we leave town. See ya, Ashy Boy!" With that, the Umbreon walked off into the wooden lab.
Pikachu, who was still hidden behind the bush, couldn't believe it. The two Pokemon did sound exactly like Ash and Gary. He was starting to think he could be having a crazy dream, or he died and is now in some kind of different universe where all the humans are born Pokemon. Guess it explains why all the buildings look a lot more primitive and more with nature. But this Riolu was this worlds, Ash Ketchum. Looking back at the lone Riolu, he looked like he was on the verge of crying his eyes out. Pikachu made up his mind and moved out of the bush and ran up to him, who in turn jumped a little from the shock of the sudden electric type.
"Don't listen to that jerk!" The Riolu stepped back a little worried.
"D-Did you?"
Pikachu nodded "Yeah, I heard all of it. But don't listen to what he says. Every Pokemon has the potential to become powerful, Ash. You not only have to train hard but also believe in yourself and those you care for to guide you."
Ash was stunned, this random Pikachu was actually trying to help encourage him. He couldn't hold it in and let some tears fall down his furred face. "Y-You really think so?"
Pikachu smiled "Of course and I'm gonna help ya."
"You will?!" Ash smiled, he almost couldn't believe it. "But why? You don't even know me."
"Well-" Pikachu stuttered, thinking carefully on what to say. "You remind me of a friend I had. You're kinda like him."
The fighting accepted this answer. "So, you wanna...join me? Be my battle partner?"
Pikachu nodded and when he did Ash tackled him in a hug. "Oh thank you! You really don't know how much this means to me!"
He released the hug and looked at Pikachu with a wagging tail. "You see my goal is to become a Pokemon Master. I wanna get strong and battle as many Pokemon as I can. Step one is winning in this League!"
Then a rumbling sound came from the Riolu's stomach, in turn making Ash blush under his fur and rub his head. "Well, it is getting late. Hey, how about you come to my place. My Mom's cooking is out of this world."
Pikachu was then pulled along by the Aura Pokemon to what he was guessing was this worlds version of his house. Pikachu glanced at Ash, he was so much like his Ash and yet so much different and it wasn't just the fact he's a Riolu in this world. So Pikachu made up his mind. He'll stay with this Ash, for now, travel with him in this world and hopefully find a way back.
Ash chuckled and let go of his paw. "It's just down this road! Race ya!" He said taking off with Pikachu running close behind him with one thought in mind. "He does have some big balls."
