Justicar: looks like the end of the series to me! Final battle here I come

Necron402: yep what can go wrong!

*Lord Anarchy steals the writers's type writer*

Anarchy: time to correct this happy go lucky story.

[Planet; Sigma 9, year 3,586, Monday June 1st 5:54 AM. Supreme Demonic Cathedral of Lord Khaos. Central Compound, Baphomet's quaters]

Lord Anarchy floated in the middle of the dim lighted room, having no physical form really taxes an all knowing god such as him and the thought of working with creatures of flesh to make his primay goal a reality was even worse. If he was an organic he would have a headache right now.

"I trust that you have the soon to be mindless squabbled on this world under controlled?" The black ghost asked

"You worry way... to much, milord. Look... what we have against us; poorly equipped insurgents.... And... monkeys that happened to learn space travel!" laughed Baphomet

"Worried?" The floating spectre asked, his red burning eyes flared with anger.

"The grandfather has tasked me with this assignment and you think I'm worried about the creatures of flesh out there!" Lord Anarchy gave a hearty laugh at the mere notion of organics posing as a threat to the might of the Infinite, more like an annoying fly buzzing around your head and you don't swat it out of the air because you don't have the time for it or it amuses you. "Once the summoning is 'properly' finished, the humans of VALOR and darkspawns of Khaos will be a whimper of the past."

Baphomet nodded. "And you remember the last part of our agreement, don't you?"

In disgust Anarchy acknowledged their contract. "Yes...yes. But that's only when Lord Khaos is no more and my physical form is fully functional." The ghost found it more troubling every day that he enlisted the help of weak organics to do his work for him.

Shadow master Xoro'tanth walked into the avatar's chambers. "My queen, VALOR and the rebels are on the edge of the system, we should proceed to phase three of the plan now."

Baphomet turned to face Lord Anarchy but he had already vanished like the ghost he is.

[VALOR Destroyer Class Cruiser; Earth's Pride , year 3,586, Monday June 1st, 9:25 PM. Hanger Bay-255. 1st Regiment Vertigo-bird deployer 55]

UNSF VALOR marines filled the entire rows of the vertigo-bird deployer waiting for the renowned Justicar to make his speech to the rows of servicemen and women.

"We will march into their precious cathedral and we will shoot anything we see with more than two eyes! You get me marines!" the sergeant yelled to the rest of the occupents inside the massive human helicopter docked within the destroyer class cruiser.

"We get you, sir!" they chanted back

"Now I have more important things to do than go around mindlessly shooting aliens till the war is over, you marines, however do not. The Justicar himself will explain the plan and you maggots will follow!"

The Justicar waved casually to the sergeant to sit on his seat. Many rows filled with fully armed and egear VALOR marines sat, their full and undivided attention on the war hero.

"The Forces of Lord Khaos as you know are preparing to summon back their god afted it was defeated so long ago. Lord Khaos, yea I know but I don't think evil gods aren't known for their creative names."

Several marines let out a small banter of laughter.

"Central command found in all their half assed glory the location of both the summoning portal for Lord Khaos and the carvern of the avatar of death. Now of course this would be suicide to secure both these holy areas from the dorkspawns but when command told me they send me a "problem solver" I should have known I would get the first regiment."

All of the occupants of the massive drop ship cheered, whistled, and clapped at the compliment given by the most powerful warrior humanity has ever known. Blast doors began to close and lock their heavy mechanisms, echoing through the entire deployer.

"It's time to end this war, once and for all."

[VALOR Destroyer Class Cruiser; Earth's Pride , year 3,586, Monday June 1st, 9:27 PM. Ships Quarters.]

Carpender shook his head in defiance and crossed his arms, the necromancer became fed up with his foster child's excessive stubbornness

"Out of the question! Completely out, as your guardian I cannot let you go!" ordered Carpender like the parent he is.

"I will not be held up in here!" Liken shouted back

"Oh yes you will! You will stay in this human star ship where its safe! Going planet side will just get you killed!"

"Then I guess it was "safe" enough to fight your creations and get killed several times!"

Carpender paused. "True, but I always could stitch you back together, I'm not trusting those human medics..."

The valgary had already made up her stubborn mind and headed towards the room's exit door, until Carpender blocked the way out by teleporting in front in the door way careful enough not to hit his own head from his constant floating.

"There is no way you wi-" said Carpender before he was interrupted by Liken slamming her fist into the doctor's face.

The necromancer fell to the ground like a sack of hammers. He didn't move at all, Liken had knocked him out cold.

"Sorry bout that, Dad."

She gently stepped over Carpender careful enough not to trip over him and made her way out the door until she was confronted by two armed VALOR soldiers who were posted right outside the quarters of the doctor.

"Excuse me, you don't have permission to leave this area" the left marine stated.

Liken hated to try an identify a VALOR marine's gender; the blue and white power armor they wore hid anything unique about the individual it felt like she was talking to the same person everywhere she went through out the human vessel, and it didn't help even without the armor human males and females looked almost identical.

"Carpender gave me permission." She smiled

The marine looked past to see Carpender slowly coming out of his deep daze, groaning in pain.

"I'm sorry miss...I don't think the d-"

"Just...just let her go...I don't want you two in my medical bay after she is done 'persuading' you both." Carpender said, as he still laid on the floor looking up at the ceiling

"Alright."

Liken walked past the two guards, they now looked at Carpender who was clutching his head.

"Humans...bring me what you call an 'aspirin'" He let out a loud groan as he tried to sit back up. "Make it extra strength..."

"Sir, yes sir!"

Liken pushed down a hanger bay technician, she hastily apologized but didn't stop to make sure he or she heard her clearly , all that mattered was getting on that VALOR vertigo drop ship that was preparing to leave and join Zhakaev in the final battle.

Before the massive docking ramp could fully rise up and lock itself shut the valgary quickly climbed over and rolled inside the holding area causing several marines to be startled, a couple of demon rebels to look up for a quick second then going back to their conversation and one surprised Zhakaev who couldn't believe what she had done.

"Carpender let you go, eh?" He smiled and helped Liken up

"He finally saw my point of view"

Zhakaev shook his head knowing what she really meant. "There's a free seat over there I think..."

As Liken turned her head Zhakaev had tossed her some spare rebel body armor that he had found. "Just wear this, I don't want the humans getting trigger happy and you suddenly leap over their heads."

[000 Hours. Invasion of Sigma 9. Site of Lord Khaos's summoning and darkspawn home world]

Khaos anti-aircraft weaponry fired upon the decending VALOR vertigo-deployers in an attempt to curb as many numbers Khaos forces would have to face in the streets. No matter how many of the human invasion ships that were shot down didn't matter, an endless rain of deployers countiued to swell VALOR's air superioty from the much more powerful carrier cruisers in orbit around the planet trading firepower with other Khaos warships.

VALOR greeted back the Khaos defence positons with their own air-to-surface missile batterys. Explosions lit up the massive darkspawn metropolis in orange with entire city blocks being completely annilated, buildings falling over on each other crushing any poor soul who happened to be near.

In mere moments a blue tide of VALOR infantry, walkers and tanks, complete with aircraft support vomited from the exits of the massive VALOR vertigo-deployers where they flooded into the streets. The Justicar emerged from the main hanger bay doors of the deployer, tanks on one side and walkers on one side move past him in single file.

"Remember men! We are to cut off all support to the primary temple, that includes bringing down the avatar of death! Move out!" the Justicar ordered into his communication which broadcasted his voice to the entire VALOR offensive.

[Planet; Sigma 9, year 3,586, Tuesday June 1st, 9:59PM. City streets on route to the grand cathedral.]

"Move, move, move!" ordered Zhakaev over his helmet's communication system.

House Azeal legionaires fired on the approaching VALOR and rebel forces from various roof tops and windows into the city streets. Human and demon warriors took significant casualties from the much more skilled legionaire snipers, one by one Zhakaev's men were being picked off from the lack of cover.

"They're inside the buildings! We gotta smoke 'um out!" yelled a VALOR marine

The blue and white solider kneeled down and brought the human engineered rocket launcher to postion over his shoulder. His Heads Up Display showed the many red outlines of Azeal darkspawns within the buildling, the missle tracking on his weapon highlighted the damaged supports of the war torn building in bright green. He pulled the trigger.

In a deafining roar the marine fired the laser guided nuke straight into the building's lower supports, the red outlines began to fade to a dark grey signifying that the legionaires were crushed to death from the collapsing building.

The small victory turned to be short lived as a legionnaire sniper tagged the VALOR rocket trooper, the red bolt of plasma went straight through his power armor's chest plate killing him instantly.

"Ground teams, this is vertigo-titan, Death from Above, we will cover your approach, over." said the calm cool pilot over Zhakaev and his remaining squad's radios.

A massive helicopter gunship silently flew over the heads of both armies and darkened the entire road. If its one thing humans can do. Zhakaev thought. Is that they could make awesome war machines.

The sides of the gunship opened up, the legionaires paused their attack in anticipation of what the enemy would throw at them next. Instead of what they thought would be anther shoot out with VALOR and rebel forces from within the ship, each opened door contained a massive rail cannon.

In a heart beat the massive slug throwers obliterated the buildings from the incredibly powerful rail cannons, nothing survived the mighty explosions even debrie was completely evaporated leaving the remaining ground teams competly un harmed.

"This one is on the house, good luck boys."

The massive helicopter gunship rose back up and continued towards its official desintation.

[Planet; Sigma 9, year 3,586, Tuesday June 1st, 10:05 PM. Supreme Demonic Cathedral of Lord Khaos. Central complex, Pit of Azaeal]

The Justicar walked into the massive cavern, he had ordered his troops to stay behind and secure what ever they could of the cathedral so no one would disturb the Justicar as he hunted for the avatar.

"Just me...and a darkspawn granted powers by a dark god. I don't think its going to be to terribly hard to kill." whispered Arjun to himself

Everything was completely pitch black, only his armor's night vision kept all the moldly cavern walls clearly visible.

"Do you know how much torrment and pain you brought me!" the powerful avatar said

Arjun looked around but couldn't see the demi-god nor that he wanted to, he remembered what To'vash said about looking at him would kill you.

"Yea, I kinda have that affect on pe- I'm sorry I almost called you a person, you ten eyed sack of shit!"

"Your bravado will not save you here! Justicar."

The ground began to shake immensely sending the silver knight to the floor, his sword still in his hand. A massive skeletal giant rose from the depths of the large canyon inside the cavern, the Justicar shielded his eyes.

"I am High Lord Azeal of the forces of Lord Khaos, the avatar of DEATH!" the demi-god boomed.

The massive monster swung its left skeletal claw to smack the insignificant human into the wall, the Justicar narrowly ducked under the near fatal blow. How was he suppose to fight an enemy he couldn't look at? Arjun thought.

Anther powerful swing caught the Justicar off guard, this time the avatar caught the human in its grip breaking not only his train of thought but his bones as well. Arjun wrestled his sword arm free but instead of dropping it on his last hand imprsionment the Justicar had sliced through the wrist of the demi-god. It's severed hand falling to the abyss below as the knight had pulled himself back onto the ledge over looking the canyon.

"Arrrgh!" the avatar of death roared in pain

"You may still be too disgusting to look at but I can still kick you're as-"

The demi-god flattened the Justicar onto the ground with its other claw. Arjun struggled to get up but the force of Azeal was to great and forced the Justicar to the ground even more.

"You cannot hope to defeat the forces of Lord Khaos! Human, end your struggle and I may give you a quick death!"

"I was about to tell you the same thing...'cept with you know VALOR instead. "

Before the avatar knew something was amist the Justicar forced all of his suits power levels into pure raw physical strength, he went from laying on the ground to kneeling under the avatar's claw with both hands pushing upwards, until he was now standing upright. The Justicar pulled the massive demi-god towards him so its upper half was now lying on the cliff, stunned by the massive jolt forward.

Arjun Fiaz took a step back away from the monster's head trying not to let curiouisty get the better of him and look at the avatar. He gripped his sword with both hand and took a combat ready pose in front of the avatar as it tried to force its self up with one hand.

"Alright you blasted alien, I am sick and tired of you and your 'people' telling us how your so much better than humans, but in the end look at whats going on. We are nuking your cities as we speak and now the avatar of death is at my feet. Well I got only one thing to say to that. Fuck you, and fuck Lord Khaos."

The Justicar now placed his suit's power into his sword which began to glow incredibly as white energy covered the entire blade with small bolts of power connecting with the cavern walls. Arjun held his now glowing blade over his shoulder as he took several steps forward and with gravity on his side the Justicar sent his blade straight into the forehead of the avatar of death and detonated from the built up of power.

The Justicar shielded his eyes by covering his face with his arm and looked away from the explosion that compeltly engulfed the once pitch black room in pure light. What seemed like hours only lasted for a few seconds. Arjun recalled his blade like clockwork, the sword flew from the now emptyless pit as the avatar was compeltly annihilated from the Justicar's final strike.

The silver knight sheathed his sword on his suit's powerful magnets. It felt good to let out his fustrations by killing. Was something wrong with him? The Justicar thought as he headed for the cavern exit.

"Although I don't think my parents would approve my one skill in life is making shit die, if they were still around." muttered Arjun to himself

The Justicar now joined his cheering forces for his most recent kill but the victory banter was cut short as legionaires from diferent levels of the cathedral fired down on the marines.

"Well one things for sure." The Justicar whispered to himself as he drew his blade once more. "Once I get my hands on that filthy animal. I'm going to feel a lot better."

The Justicar charged towards the closest squad of legionaires with sword in hand.

[Planet; Sigma 9, year 3,586, Tuesday June 1st, 10:45 PM. Supreme Demonic Cathedral of Lord Khaos. The warlock lord's domain]

"Heres a present from earth ye freaks!" yelled a marine before he threw the hand grenade into a group of legionaires.

The broken bodies of the darkspawn guards were sent in random directions from the force of the explosion, the once heavily defended hallway to Malaga's chambers was now clear of hostiles.

Zhakaev pushed his way past both human and rebel warriors to reach the massive door guarding his father's room, the half breed turned to the paient soldiers along with Liken.

"Secure this passege way and regroup with the other teams so we can push to the summoning circle, I'll deal with the warlock." he ordered.

Liken moved up to Zhakaev as if she didn't apply to the orders he gave.

"That includes you."

The valgary smiled innocently. "You know I don't follow orders well"

"This is important to me, I must face my father alone. I haven't seen him...since I 'left'."

Liken stomped her hoof on the ground. "We are together now, Zhak, we face our problems together. Your father is now my father now."

Together the two placed their hands on the door and pushed it open revealing the inner sanctum of grand warlock lord Malaga Darkrune.

Massive book cases containing an unlimited amount of darkspawn history covered the walls of the massive circular chamber, all the lights were turned off expect for one bright light that brighted only a small circle in the middle. Inside the illuminated area was Malaga Darkrune, beaten and tied up to an 'X' shape torture device.

"Father!" Zhakaev yelled as he rushed towards him, not carring about his father's view on him now that he betrayed his entire people by working for VALOR.

Malaga coughed up his purple blood and spat it down at his feet. "How could...how could I have been so, blind?" the warlock lord whispered to himself.

"I'm going to get you down from there, right now!" reassured Zhakaev trying to find a way to cut the metal cuffs but not injuring his father.

"Son, is that you?" Malaga asked, his face bloodied and disfigured from who knows what.

"Yes, father, what the hell happened!?"

Zhakaev waved Liken forward to help him find a way to lower the elder darkspawn down.

"Baphomet...and the shadow master, they are doing something to the summoning of Lord Khaos...you must stop them."

"Baphomet!?" Zhakaev asked. "An avatar of Khaos betray its own kind?"

"They...they wanted VALOR and Khaos to go to war, to weaken our numbers. How can I been so blind, we've been fighting a pointless war! We were playing right into their hands from the very beginning."

"What are they trying to do!"

"They are trying to bring back the Infinite, by killing Lord Khaos." Malaga answered with Liken still trying to look for a way.

Zhakaev's questions were cut short when a massive humanoid creature crept slowly behind Malaga. The monster had its entire face covered with bandages, with its chest, arms and legs fused with metal plates. Bloodied and unkept blades replaced the humanoid's forearms while its feet were gone and were large stubs instead.

"No!" yelled Zhakaev as he readied his rifle at the creature

But it was to late, the monster impaled Malaga through the chest almost injuring Liken as its entire forearm passed through the darkspawn's midsection and instead of pulling back for a clean kill the monster swung to the left cutting the body in half sending gore onto both Liken and Zhakaev.

The monster cocked its wrapped head at the two and raised its weapons. "Victory, for Lord Anarchy!" it croaked in the most gutteral possible way.

The void soldier swung both of its dangerous arm blades at the two, Liken was able to dodge the cumbersome attacks but her mate wasn't as nimble, Zhakaev fell the ground with his weapon discharging prematurely at the half flesh creature.

"Zhakaev!" yelled Liken but before she could go to see if he was alright a projectile the size of a pumpkin hit the valgary in the shoulder sending her to the ground.

Liken was wracked with pain to see the hellish monster conjure anther powerful dark sphere with its sword arms to finish off the now wounded target, but at the last moment the creature just paused as if it was thinking something of great importance. The dark magic sphere powered down and the void soldier simply walked away where the two had entered without a care in the world.

Both Zhakaev and Liken struggled to get up from the sudden defeat brought on by the unknown creature.

"What in gods name was that..." Zhakaev said trying to get his breath back.

"Whatever it is we can't let Baphomet finish what ever they are doing, we have to go after it!"

He nodded. "I hate to say it but I hope we see the Justicar there first than that monster again."

[Planet; Sigma 9, year 3,586, Tuesday June 1st, 11:20 PM. Supreme Demonic Cathedral of Lord Khaos. Summoning Circle]

Lord Anarchy cackled in they way only he could laugh. With a wave of its ghastly black smokey hand the spectre completely disintergrated human, rebel and darkspawn in one attack.

"Minions of the grandfather! Slaves of the eternal void! Today I make sure the traitor Lord Khaos is compelty forgotten! The black ghost yelled

The god nodded to shadow master Xoro'tanth who along with his most faithful apprentices proceeded to compelte the ceremony to bring Lord Khaos out of the shattered realm. The incredible portal on the ground swirled counter clockwise and with a sound so powerful that no words described came forth Lord Khaos. The reveared god was a collections of stars and lines that took the form of a humanoid.

"Lord Khaos, it has been far too long." the spectre said, his eyes still glowing red

"Lord Anarchy! What are you doing here! This galaxy is under my direct supervision given by the grandfather himself!" Lord Khaos shouted

"Exactly that, traitor. You didn't get this galaxy by asking for it, you took it for your own gains! Working with organics for peace! Bah! If we were a race of flowers than your actions wouldn't have brought me here!"

"We the Infinite should be the protectors of all life! Not the exploitive monsters the grandfather should lead us to belive, what am I doing is saving both of our people!" The celestial enity argued back.

"The entire Infinite race was banished to the shattered realm because of you, organics are meant to be enslaved not allied with! The forces of Lord Khaos was a dead dream from the very start, now the entire universe shall learn once more the true power of the Infinite!"

Again the spectre nodded again to the shadow master and his students began chanting again.

"This pathetic truce ends here Lord Khaos. The infinite will rule this physical realm once more like all the others as we did before. A new age is coming . An age you will not be a part of!"

Just like how he came to be Lord Khaos was gone the next instant from the zealot summoners. Queen Baphomet and shadow master Xoro'tanth waited paiently for their exalted god to give them the next phase of the plan.

"Cleanse this planet of all organic filth! Darkspawn and human, do not let any escape the grandfather's wrath. Kill. Them. All!" cackled Lord Anarchy as more and more of the sword arm monsters revealed themselves around the summoning portal.

[Planet; Sigma 9, year 3,586, Tuesday June 1st, 11:30PM. Supreme Demonic Cathedral of Lord Khaos.]

The Justicar frantically tried to contact at least one marine squad inside this god forsaken cathedral, he found his own squad horribly ripped apart when they were sent to secure an exit of the cathedral. In a stroke of good luck the voice of a marine crackled inside of the Justicar's helmet.

"Sir! Where taking heavy casualties from an unknown enem-" the answer was cut short when a chilling roar cut the marine's response.

"What the fuck is th- fire! Fire!"

The Justicar ordered the marine to reply with an answer but none came, this was the tenth squad he had lost contact with. What the hell is going on? The Justicar thought.

"Human! Are you there!" asked the familiar voice of commander To'vash over Arjun's radio.

"Glad to hear a friendly's voice, just what in Christ's name is going on 'ere!"

"I don't know, command has ordered a full retreat. All the reports that are coming back are showing ninty-five percent casualities rates at least for all fire teams"

The Justicar couldn't believe it. "Nint- nintey five?! How is that possible!"

"Its not just us, the remaining Khaos forces are just as screwed as the rest of us, what ever this enemy is its killing both sides. A joint operation of both VALOR and Khaos have set up an extraction point for both military and civilian."

"Enemy of my enemy is my friend, eh? But what about the summoning?" the Justicar asked

"My men have confirmed that Lord Khaos was banished once more, this time for good. Meet me at the coordinates I am downloading into your suit's HUD, we can then move to the extraction point and regroup with VALOR forces."

The Justicar saw the mini map of the Khaos cathedral light up showing To'vash's marker pinging on the western corridor not to far from the Justicar postion. "I'll meet you there."

Arjun drew his sword just to be safe , he stepped over the reamins of the last of his squad and he hurried down the twisting corridors to reach his officer.

[Planet; Sigma 9, year 3,586, Tuesday June 1st, 11:40PM. Supreme Demonic Cathedral of Lord Khaos.]

"Their right behind us! Move, move!" frantically yelled a marine

Zhakaev turned his head around to find Liken still keeping up with him but the much more slow human marines were being picked off by the persuring creatures, even without feet they moved with such speed it was almost unnatural.

"The evac zone is th-" said the lead marine just inches in front of Zhakaev as he turned the corner.

One of the hellish monsters greeted the scared soldier on the other side and in one swift motion it decapitated the marine without any delay. The void soldier turned the corner to face the fleeing party blocking their only exit.

Zhakaev stopped a few feet short of the monster and backed off as quickly as he could or risk sharing the same fate as its previous prey. With guttural noises the monster walked towards Zhakaev as he continued to back up until Liken accidently ran into her mate, he turned around to find the rest of the squad was all gruesomely killed and that the two were left alone with the bladed monsters.

"I don't want to die here Zhakaev" Liken whispered

"Neither of us will" he answered.

The zealots circled around the two all of their attention focused on the non-belivers and with out warning, they attacked.

Zhakaev used his weapon to parry the closet of the zealot's attack but the barbaric blade passed clean through his rifle destroying it completely, the half breed spent all his attention trying to stay alive against the few attacking zealots in front of him he didn't notice the void soldier from behind. Before he had time to react the monster impaled Zhakaev through the spine and it exited it's blade through the right for a quick kill.

Liken turned to see if her love was still alright but was answered with his mutilated remains the valgary was so shocked she couldn't move which allowed for a zealot to swing its sword arm at her, in an instant everything went black for Liken.

[Planet; Sigma 9, year 3,586, Tuesday June 1st, 11:50PM. Supreme Demonic Cathedral of Lord Khaos.]

The Justicar entered anther one of the many corridors, pictures of past leaders lined the walls, and on the opposite side of the hallway was a clear see through glass wall that viewed its parallel hallway. Commander appeared on the opposite hallway as he came through the left door out of breath, something must have been chasing him.

"Arjun! Thank the gods you're here. The evac point has been compeltly overrun everyone is dead, we are going to have to find our own way off this planet."

The Justicar nodded and signaled To'vash to step back so he could break down the glass barricade and join him, but the rebel's persuer came through the same door as he did and rushed towards him.

"Die! You lifeless husk!" shouted the rebel as he fired on the zealot.

The monster ignored the sad attempt of its attacker trying to injure it and rammed its self into To'vash knocking him to the ground, without pause the zealot shoved its blade arm through his midsection and raised the commander in the air. Still not admiting defeat To'vash fired anther around into the head of the monster only angering it further, it brought its other blade down onto his left arm and right leg severing them instantly.

"You will fail, void spawn." said To'vash

The monster decipated the rebel and cleaved the remains in half to get the body off its arm.

"Holy shit, holy shit!" panicked the Justicar as the zealot smashed through the glass wall for anther kill

The monster let out its signiture gutteral roar and charged the silver knight in rage, the zealot swung madly but every attack was countered and countered again by the Justicar's own swordsmanship. With all his force behind the blade the human knight swung in an uppercut motion with both hands and severed the left arm blade of the monster but it seemed unphased by the sudden blow.

Again the void soldier swung again this time it sailed past the knight's defences and sliced clean through his power armor living a huge open scar on his suit's midsection leaving his chest exposed.

"Heearrrg!" shouted the Justicar as he put more force into his swing and sliced the beast in half.

Arjun sat down with his back against the wall trying to caulculate what the hell was going on until the upper half of the monster stopped playing dead and stabbed the Justicar in the leg with it's blade.

In great pain the Justicar lifted the blade out of his thigh and pushed the arm away as the monster finally stayed dead.

"Oh dammit, this really hurts!" groaned the Justicar

Two more of the zealots emerged from the opposite hallway and immediately ran to the wounded war hero, the Justicar threw his blade into the chest of one of the oncoming monsters but it was too late to recall the sword as the zealot who reached him swung its weapon.
