Pumbaa's Past
"Look what we got here..." said Hyena 1
"Three little pigs!" responded Hyena 2
"And look... One's a tiny pig." a third responded.
"Nah... I call dibs on the parents!" says Hyena 4.
The warthog family quickly flees to hide from the Hyenas, who chased after them. The little one holds tight, riding on his father's back as they galloped away to safety. They entered the place they call home, which happens to be near other warthog homes. There is a tiny, almost unnoticeable hole at the forner, large enough to fit a young little warthog.
"Stay in here, Pumbaa." his father places him in the hole in the wall.
Two of the hyenas suddenly popped out of nowhere.
"You can certainly run from us, but you can't hide."
"Welp, LET'S EAT!"
The little warthog closes his eyes, & attempts to cover his ears, but the sound of his parents' demise can still be heard.
"Hey, you two. There are other warthogs to dine!"
"And they're just nearby."
"Then, let's go!"
The room was now only occupied by the little warthog. he walks around to see how damaged everything was. How damaged his parents are.
"No!" he bolted outside, running away from the place he grew up in. He ran and ran, until stumbling upon a bug tree.
He was tired from the running, and devastated from what happened back home. He starts to weep quietly alone... or as he thought.
"What's with the sad look?" An old mandrill jumps down from the tree. "Are you lost?"
"No"
"Then, where are you going?"
"I don't know."
"Ohhh, I know. You are going to the special place, of Hakuna Matata"
"What? What's that?"
"It means no worries." The monkey responded, as he sits down. "And to find it, you must look beyond what you see."
"So, I go to that big pointy rock? Do I go beyond the rock?"
"Hehe, you'll know you're in Hakuna Matata when you get there."
So like that, the little warthog marched and marched, to a point near his destination. At the big pointy rock, he sees a HUGE crown of pridelanders, next to a large group of hyenas. On the actual rock stood a great lion.
"I, King Ahadi, have been informed about the disruption of the Circle of Life, caused by the hyenas. Many innocent lives were ended, due to the overhunting, and the sport hunting, in which, the hyenas were caught taking part in. The hyenas proved to be punished. The punishment: THEY SHALL BE EXILED. Away from the Pridelands. Too a land far away. It shall be done, too keep the Pridelands from great danger and to keep the Circle of Life in balance."
The hyenas started to flee, as a serious melody plays. They start running towards Pumbaa. Startled, Pumbaa ran again. Running away from fear, danger. Running away from his worries.
He stumbled upon a beautiful forest. A dramatic view of a tall mountain and some waterfalls on that very mountain. There was an abundance of grubs, which can supply him for more than a lifetime.
"I found it! I found Hakuna Matata!"
As the sun starts to set, he felt tired. He set up a comfy bed of leaves under a tree.
"Good night. Sleep tight. dream of bedbugs tonight."
It's been quite a while now. A drought started, then ended. After being alone that long, he starts to feel like somthing is missing. Something.... Or someone.
"OOF, I need a friend."
Pumbaa ventured to a known waterhole, where many Pridelanders get rehydrated.
He found his aroma lacked a certain appeal
He could clear the savannah after every meal
"Eww, what's that smell..." complained a giraffe.
"I don't know. I'm suddenly not even hungry." a zebra said, before chowing down on some grass.
Everyone ran away, after getting a whiff of Pumbaa's aroma.
Elephants cringing from the smell. Even a skunk thought that it was bad.
Right there and then did he realize that he doesn't do well in crowds.
Humiliated, Pumbaa flees.He kept running and running. Running away from his worries once again, as if he never found Hakuna Matata. He ran such a distance, that it became dark hours ago.
He kept running until he met a sudden stop, infront of two tiny eyes.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!"
"AHHHHHHHHH!!"
